@Golem I didn't really explain this in the post (once again, it was getting a bit unweildly, was gonna feature in another flash back) but the way these war fleets operate these days is that they are made up of ships from all clans under the leadership of several Jarls picked from the Tinvaal.
This particular fleet is made up of 36 ships, with around half of those being from hardened warriors, each ship is around 40 - 60 men, so we're dealing with a ball park figure of about 1800 angry zealots. These are being led by my main man Uhtred, that angry dangerous guy Ormond, and the scary dude with one eye, Magnus.
This is like fucking massive compared to your average raid, which might only be a few hundred men. So I don't know how prepared your Moad are, but this some serious smack down heading your way.
