Crowe woke up from her sleep to the feeling of something bad. There was a powerful magic presence in town and it was bugging her. She couldn't distinguish which side it was but it was strong, not just a single person. She grabbed her sweater and keys, put on her boots, and ran out the door. Quickly she ran over to the bar to check it for the disturbance, but there was nothing. No sign of any fights or anything, just normal hourly customers. "Hey, have you guys seen anything strange?" she asked the owners, but they said no and asked her if she wanted a drink for the hard work she did.
Crowe kindly declined and headed toward the house Raven and K.C. had taken their friend. Maybe something was up over there. She wasn't sure what was going on but the feeling grew stronger. She phased her way down the street, this time not caring who saw, and walked as fast as she could. As she turned the corner she saw the kids. K.C. was on the ground and two others were standing there. Along with a troll.
Crowe managed to figure out that the two weren't there to help by the smiles on their faces. Taking a step out into the open she called out. "Hey, K.C! You alright?!" There was no reply so she walked closer, catching the attention of the troll. "No, I don't think you want to try to hit me with that." Crowe gave a slight smug grin with a bit of cockiness in her voice. She always carried her weapon on her due to the dangers of her occupation. "Look, I'm gonna offer this once and only once. You leave and I take my cuz home, or you stay and start a fight that you will probably lose. I'd pick the former, but that's just the smart side of me talking. I haven't had to deal with a fight in a week now and I'm trying to keep that streak." Her tone grew tenser but also had a sense of joy to it. Crowe did enjoy a fight here and there, but not when it involved her cousin.
