Oh yeah, my family and I are on good terms, they just depend on me a lot. and nice to talk with a fellow chesser and Classical music lover. it's just something about those two things that help me. I like the music that's going on in pop culture but some put me in more of a bad mood or in a mood I don't want to be in and I revert back to classical. Hm...you have me a bit interested in this project. I have a short attention span and I can't seem to sit still so, meditation is out the window for me lol

(Good to here things are well with you and them then. Having people depend on you in some way is just a part of life, really. Yeah, I'm really into chess and classical music. I like a lot of different types of music, some more than others, and there's a few types of music I don't like as well. I also get into different types of music depending on what I'm writing, since I use music to create atmosphere. If you had a PS3 or PS4, there's a game I'd recommend; PureChess. As for the project, I guess more about it will come to light for people as time goes by. At least what I'm willing to spoil anyway. I usually only like to RP with its setting, so if I do GM this other idea it'll be a bit unconventional for me.)

(I think we went into this in our own PM, but I mostly like orchestral music and classical music, as well as choir and opera. There's some rock I enjoy as well, but I'm really not into metal at all, especially heavy metal, with the exception of symphonic metal. All the other genres are a mixed bag for me for various reasons, I like some and I don't like others. Like everything in my life, I usually have extreme likes and dislikes, with not too much being indifferent. I'm usually picky, even with genres I like.)

I have a ps4 and some ps3 games I was expecting to be able to play on ps4, because you know. Nintendo does the whole backwards compatibility thing, why wouldn't Sony? But nope.

lol Yeah I thought PS$ would be able to play PS3 games too but just like PS3, both have totally different engines so, it's not like how it was where you could play PS1 on a PS2 game system, (which would save on money and aggravation lol) but I do still want a PS4 so I can continue playing certain series. Infamous, Batman: Arkham, and soon....God of War

(That's sort of my point. You don't mind helping your family, which proves you've got something good going with them. You'd feel burdened by it if you weren't close to them. PureChess is basically a chess simulation with beautiful graphics and a lot of old school music. As for the types of music I like, I mentioned some of them earlier (I mostly like orchestral music and classical music, choir, opera, some rock as well, but I'm really not into metal at all, especially heavy metal, with the exception of symphonic metal). I also like jazz and some of the blues as well (Cowboy Bebop's OST comes to mind), but I'm very picky with all the music types I listen to. I don't really follow bands much either. I love music, but I don't like all the artist hype. As for the types of genre I like to RP, it might be easier to mention that one in our PM.)

(PS3 games were coded in a very complex way compared to most over video games, which is one of the reason the backwards compatibility isn't a thing. I have a PS2, PS3, and PS4, so this doesn't really bother me. PlayStation is honestly the only gaming console I have any interest in. Nothing on the Xbox or the Nintendo consoles particularly stick out at me apart from one or two exceptions, whereas many of the games I actually do enjoy are PlayStation exclusives.)

In my opinion nothing in sony or microsoft stick out, since there are hardly any exclusives when compared to Nintendo (which is almost all exclusives). Sony is a lot better than Microsoft, since it does have those games like anime games (being a Japanese company).

(I basically have no interest in any of Nintendo's original licenses, is the problem I guess. Like, from what I can tell, Fire Emblem is literally the only franchise Nintendo has exclusive to them that I have any sort of interest in at all. PlayStation ends up getting almost all of the heavy anime/manga-orientated games I want, gets pretty much every fighting game I'm interested in, and mostly all of the RPGs I want as well. The only time Sony really lets me down in this sense is when they put one of their games on a Portable console, because I hate handheld consoles.)

Thats an interesting collection, Im into Classical, soul, r&b, folk rock, jazz, blues, dancehall, a little of alternative rock (depends on who it is), funk, and a little pop. I agree with the artist hype. And alright lol I'll ask there.

(Right. I've never actually been interested in Pokémon myself, and while I haven't heard of those other ones you just mentioned I'd say pretty much 90% or more of the RPGs I actually like are exclusive to a PlayStation console, or at least were originally on one. All the Final Fantasy games (Microsoft basically had to pay Square Enix to get some of the newer ones, and some of the PSX generation ones are up there with the best RPGs ever made), Shadow Hearts series (the first of which is one my favourite video games of all time; Shadow Hearts, not Koudelka), Xenogears (another one of my favourite of all time games; Xenosaga and Xenoblade are pale imitations of it), Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden, Folklore, etc. Not going to bother naming them all since I'll be here forever, but since you shared a few I figured I would too. Since a lot of Nintendo stuff is also aimed at a younger audience (nothing wrong with that, it's just not for me) I'm not that interested in them for that too. Castlevania was a Nintendo franchise initially, but when Symphony of the Night came out and the series started getting really good it branched over to PlayStation too.)

I don't think xenoblade is exclusive to PS, considering Nintendo has Chronicles. Unless that was naming non-exclusives which I doubt.

(I said Xenogears is the PlayStation exclusive. Xenosaga and Xenoblade are basically pale imitations of Xenogears, and Xenoblade is the Nintendo exclusive one. The original, and best by far, of that series (if you can even call them a series) was the PlayStation exclusive; Xenogears, which is one of the few works of fiction to ever touch on the religion (Gnosticism) that most closely resembles the philosophy of my project (long story, won't go into it here) and actually manage to mostly do a good job of it. All of the later "Xeno" games they attempted to make were basically attempts to milk off how good it was and copy from its success, and they just ended up looking like delinquent imitations. Xenogears was also one of the most insightful and intelligent video games that's ever been made, and some of it bears resemblance to my own philosophy (which I realized once I played it), so I never claimed Xenoblade was a Nintendo exclusive.)
