K.C. threw his sword, watched it pierce the confused hag through her left thigh, spun in the air, caught the staff, threw it at the creature and landed with a roll. He stood in time to see the creature fall, the staff pierced the back of her neck and through her throat. The beast lay face down on the ground. "Well," K.C. called, clapping his hands. "Job's a goodun." He strode to the body and removed the weapons from it before kneeling and examining. He was about to start taking notes, when the creature erupted into flame and disappeared, leaving a body shaped burn on the dry, fall grass. "Strange." K.C. muttered, mostly to himself.

Gavin arrived shortly thereafter, witnessing the end of the fight, disappointed he hadn't arrived sooner, he took a closer look at the burn.

"I recognize this, hey, Grimm, the creature was summoned by black magic, either one of my relatives sent this, or we're dealing with someone completely new."

Clara got to the group a minute or so after Gavin. Upon seeing the Grimms had it under control, she walked up to Gavin and nudged him. "Exite." She mumbled to her vampire, making him poof into dust and settle on the ground. This night had become... weird. Honestly, she just wanted to get home. At least this was keeping her from starting a school that would be crawling with Grimms.

Gavin turned to Clara and gave her a small smirk. He shrugged at her and chuckled.

"Umbra iocus." He said clandestinely, waving his hand upwards slowly. His shadow raised from the ground in a mess of tendrils, one of which wrapped around his arm. Stepping onto one of the larger tendrils, he went limp, allowing it to hold him steady. Falling back, he placed his hands behind his head and stayed, a look of relaxation on his face for a moment, quickly fading to contemplation.

"Clara, did you summon anything that may have ended up over here?" He asked with a turn of his head.

"Yeah, ice cream sounds great." He sighed and followed Raven. "Do they have malts? And do I have to go to school tomorrow? I really don't feel up to it." He stared at his backpack, with its precious blade inside. "I'm not sure I can think straight, honestly. Bean's not at the best quality." He referred to his blade as Bean, having read the section about giants, and finding it a catchy name.

K.C. looked at the two Briarwhites. "You said you didnt summon it and i believe you. But you're going to help me find out who did. Both of you. Meet me in the fencing room as soon as you get to school tomorrow. We'll talk more there. Deal?" K.C. smiled, a little pleadingly, to both of them.

Crowe sat on the ground and caught her breath. "Good job." Crowe said to K.C. as she stood up again. She stumbled for a second then grabbed her staff. "I think I'm gonna head back home. I need sleep." she added patting his shoulder. Crowe stumbled and made her way down the street toward her home. By the time she got her door she was extremely exhausted. "I'm so done fighting stuff for the next year" she said as she opened the door and closed it behind her, yawning and locking it as she went and passed out on her couch.

Raven smiled at Jack. "Their malts are the BEST." She said enthusiastically. Her favorite was their vanilla malt, mmmm. "I think you've earned a day off. I'll get it excused." Raven felt bad for the boy, it was the least she could do for him.



Clara looked at Gavin with annoyance. "I'm not the only one that knows how to summon creatures, you know. Besides, I wouldn't make something so hideous." Clara smirked at that, joking in her own twisted way. She then looked over at K.C. "First, I don't take orders. I'll help because I have knowledge on it, and maybe can learn a thing or two from said person." Clara again joked in her own sick way.
