Sounds good. If you could also expand on your biography a little bit :) Your character is supposed to be a long time resident- and since I allowed it to be a little younger; It'd be nice if you could expand a little bit of your residency in Ashenport.
After that, you're good to go- and can put her in the character bin
I hope it's okay if I keep adding to her c.s. over the next couple of days. Sometimes I find that I learn more about them myself and like to add to it. Why is there no high school in the town?
It's totally fine to update your CS as we go. If it's something big, just let us know in the OOC so we can take a look :)
Uh, I never said there wasn't a high school :D Just wasn't something I put on the map as a point since there is only really one teen. But if we need a High School location- I guess we can say its the place to the RIGHT of the mayor's house.
What amazes me is the fact that there's like, 11 people in this town but a shitload of buildings. Why do we need an entire high school building when there's only one teenager?

|| BIOGRAPHY ||
Born to her father and mother, Cameron is the only child in the family. Just a few short months after the girl was born, her mother was killed by a drunk driver in a car crash. This made her even closer with her Aunt Mo. The young woman never had the chance to get to know her mother, something she has always had trouble with. She often blames herself for the fact, as her mother was coming to pick her up from the daycare nursery when the crash occurred. Cam has always taken her grades seriously, though the children at school have not always been the nicest people. Her father digging graves to find money started rumors around the town that he was crazy, and she, too, might be. It is something that the girl has come to laugh about, making jokes and weird faces at people when they come her way. Through this, she has actually made a few close friends who she tends to hang around with.

|| NIGHTMARE ||
Cameron's nightmare is the figure of a woman dressed in a black robe with hair that falls to the floor, also black. Her eyes are black and hollow against her nearly transparent skin. She sucks the happiness and light out of everything around her, her thin lipped mouth opening and releasing the gossip of Cameron's possible insanity.
@knighthawk Ha. No pretty pink princess bedrooms here. I'm all good with the house. Let me flip back a few pages and see if I can find Cams CS and read up on Mo right quick.
Just realized Charles FC was a younger Sam Elliot.
Gonna get a post up today, just Thomas getting up and setting up at the hotel. Maybe I'll have him go to the gas station, so Bombardier and I can get a sense of our characters' chemistry.

And there's a Tim McGraw song in the Cs.
Thank you for this.
Oh, the finer details have been ironed out.
I think Charles would have given her the master bedroom in the back once she hit puberty for all her 'girl stuff'. It was what my dad did for my sister IRL.
Straight, well there was that one time in Tijuana...

He loves his daughter, she looks just like her mom. But how do you tell your little girl you stay out late to not have to see her moms face every time she smiles?
He wasn't superstitious, but Clem was, so he learned the lip service for her and does it now for Cameron.

Wife - Victoria "Clementine" Clayton (Victoria is her legal first name, but always went by her middle name socially)- Deceased
Daughter - Cameron Victoria Clayton - Student/babysitter
Sister - Montana "Mo" Clayton - Town drunk
|| HOUSE DESCRIPTION ||
Simple sturdy two bedroom 'log cabin' for him and his little girl. He only uses his bedroom to change and the master bathroom, otherwise he sleeps on the couch. He doesn't allow any alcohol on his property and he keeps his 'smoke' in the shed outside. He is usually gone for most of the day, out the door at 6 after getting Clementine up for school and home at or after 6 with diner. If its bad outside, then he waits to take her and pick her up from school. Something about not trusting anyone on the road in bad weather.

|| BIOGRAPHY || - When his first wife was pregnant, starts digging graves looking for money
A farmers son, through and through. from six to sixteen he was in the barn tending to the cows while dad handled the greenhouse where they grew their hemp (happy cows make good milk, stoned cows make great milk). For the first ten years he was the only son, then Montana came along and life changed a little. When dad died on Charels sixteenth birthday, life changed a lot. When mom left two years later, his life ended. He had to be the dad for an eight year old sister, the next ten years were hell on that farm. He couldn't hire hands without risk someone would spill or steal the family secret of potfarming cowpies. The only others who knew was the dairy 'next door' a mile down the road, who processed the milk for him since he couldn't make the cheese as well as run the farm all by himself. What help he got from mo, little as it was, was harder than pulling teeth from a rattlesnake and took ten times as long. "You're not Dad, Charles! You can't tell me what to do all the damn time!" Was a weekly mantra that usually ended with someone out the front door.
Just when it all seemed lost, came Clementine.
She came to the dairy down the road trying to get away from some 'city trouble' and they asked Chuck if he needed a farm hand he could trust. Lust became like and like became love. It took a couple years of trying with the farm springing back to life before life sprang up in Clementine. Against his better wishes, Clementine insisted that they keep their door open to Montana.
"She needs to know she has a safe harbor, no matter how bad the storm is outside or the storm brewing in your heart."
When Clementine announced that she was pregnant, Charels didn't seem that happy as he walked out, he came back that night covered in mud and told her he got a new job to help pay for their new addition. He started working as the graveyard caretaker and put all the money from the second job into a coffee can (that Mo would pick out of behind his back and clementine would cover for her). While digging one of the graves, he came upon an old trinket for her, a civil war bet buckle. He figured one day they could sell it for her college, until then. it just got more valuable the older it got.
The day their daughter was born, they agreed that each one got to pick part of the name, Clementine could pick any first name, he got to pick the middle name. She chose Cameron for the Scottish name for a crooked river, for it was at the river she was conceived. He picked Victoria for Clementine's first name.
The first year was heaven, then it all went to hell. She went for a drive in the truck to pick up their daughter from the babysitter after their anniversary 'date'. Coming up the other side of the road was old man parkers 67 camero but he was driving a bit off. Normally what happened next would have just been a fender bender, but the collision happened on the wet bridge. The truck made a quarter turn, the back tires slid off and flipped it into the mostly mud river. If she hadn't been flattened, she would have drowned.
The drunk driver wasn't even parker, it was some snot nosed kids. Not even fifteen for a permit and barely looking over the dashboard! He'd have killed them, he'd have killed them and slept like a baby that night... But he had a baby of his own now. Now she was his everything.
Anyone could tell you he changed that night. Everyone expected him to be just as bad as his sister, toss his baby girl in a hole and bury her alive then crawl inside a bottle. He seemed like the walking dead for the first year on that farm. Then one day, he up and moves to town. Him and his little girl living in the shack on the grounds while he lets the farm go fallow. Technically, he gave the keys to Mo for a place if she needs it. He goes back once a month, on the 13th, to do maintenance. More than once hes had to drag people off his property or clean up their squatting, but the land his his and as much as it eats him up inside, he's saving it for Cameron. Graduation, wedding, moving out, whatever, its hers in a heartbeat.
Until then they have the cottage on the hospital grounds he keeps in order, the 67 camero he won in the court hearing to replace his truck, any any honest money he can earn. She never goes without with him around, except perhaps for the fact he's hardly around. Sure she can call and ask what job he's doing, but it seems the older she is getting the later he stays out.
|| THEME SONG ||
Legal Assassin Years roll by without you, honey. Seventeen have come and gone, I've raised her with my best intentions. But there's something I can't tell her, I'm lost without you here, I am living out a lie.
|| NIGHTMARE ||
His dead wife, Sometimes completely hale and healthy in that summer dress he loved... other times she is the twist of skin and steel crawling towards him as nothing more than a severed torso with her entrails dragging behind her. Honestly, seeing her unharmed hurts him more. He knows what he had and lost.
