Reputation: The illustrious and enigmatic Headmaster of B.U.M., while he can commonly be seen walking around the school and regularly converses with students, not much is actually known about him, asides that he is powerful. To the students he is kind and helpful, so he's fairly popular.
Name: Polyanna Saccharine - unknown if this is her real name or a pseudonym.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Her apparent age changes randomly, however, she never goes above thirty years old in appearance, and always has the same looks. Her hair is hazel-brown reaching below her waist, with matching almond-shaped eyes.
Age: About 80 years old.
Rank: Grandmaster
Role: Head Enforcer, Head of Security, Aerobics Organization instructor.

She's the one tasked with the schools security and also manages the Aerobics Club on the side, which she's been doing for over a decade now. Age: 82
Rank: Master
Role: He's a professor in the Water Magic Department, and serves as Lee's de facto guardian while she's here at the University and while Ophelia is away.
Magic Discipline: Cloud Magic
Reputation: A nice and patient old man that's served as a professor at the school for two decades now. Most students enjoy his teaching, as he is one of the least strict professors in the University, and is also one of the professors most likely to grant a pass for a field trip. He is also highly sought after when a student is attempting a Graduation Exam, though he rarely accepts requests.
Reputation: Is deeply disdained - some would even say despised by a majority of the student body. She has a reputation of being arrogant, snide, and cold. Needless to say, she does not have many friends. Among the professors however, she is well loved as she has proven to be a superbly prodigious student; eager to learn and smart, it seems completely obsessed with developing her magic.
Meruin has never once been seen in the Sparring/Dueling Grounds. While combat ability is in no way an adequate measure of a mage's potential, it has led some to wonder if she is in fact, inept at using her magic practically - another point of insult against her.
Master: Ostensibly taught by the Archtype herself, Reina Wisdom, and also mentions having learned from Chase Asu Du Morgan. None of these claims have been verified, however Headmaster Niccolo does nothing to discredit them. Her Master (or lack thereof) is a constant source of barbing from many students who dislike her. Some claim she's just using the name of Reina Wisdom to make herself more grandiose than she actually is, furthering her image as a snide arrogant know-it-all.

While she rarely interacts with the student body beyond occasional duels, many are struck by her beauty, and she has gained a significant amount of admirers.
Master: Xinhua has no Master, however, she was given the blessings of a Dragon God from the Jade Palace, which has boosted her learning capabilities towards anything related to the "Storm"

Name: Karen Almira
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Rank: Apprentice
Appearance: A 5-foot-five brunette with freckles and brown eyes. She's rather "plain" in the looks department - a fact that she laments. Her sense of style is also lacking, or it would be closer to say that she's clumsy when it comes to choosing clothes, which leads her attire to becoming . . . less than normal.
Personality: Plain and unassuming, though not shy or introverted. As she says herself, she's a person who's just there. She doesn't have a very "memorable" personality. She also has a rather fragile self-esteem, which she's good at hiding.
Magic: Plague Magic - An insidious and highly destructive branch of black magic.
A tall and handsome gentleman, Allen stands a bit above 6 feet and weighs around 175 pounds. His silver-colored hair is surely the most striking trait of his self, a proof of an unusual heritage. No matter how hot it is, Allen never seems to show much skin, because underneath shows a lot of his failure experiments: burn marks and scars on his body and arms.
If one would contemplate the back of his hands and somehow get a look at his naked shoulders, one would notice Allen as tattoos printed there. Representing the primordial elements, Allen bears the Fire Symbol on his right hand, the Water Symbol on his left hand, the Earth symbol on his right shoulder and the Air Symbol on his left shoulder. On his chest, just where the heart is located, one could find the Light Symbol, while the Darkness Symbol is located on his back.
Year: 14th year
Rank: Journeyman
Room No.: Allen shares room 33-C with 2 other roomates. One is a journeyman by the name of Alec Shneider. The other is a journeyman-ranked tomboyish girl named Anna Smith. While the direction and the boys weren't too keen on having a girl share the same room as two boys, there was a lack of space by that time. By the time space was made available, Anna had decided to stay with the two guys. Some would say that Alec's liveliness and Allen's cooking got reason of her.
Personality: A strong and kind soul, Allen is driven by compassion mixed with knowledge. He lives to learn about magic and takes pride in helping others understand it as well. He is in overall a good person, although he may seem distant and a loner due to his being so often busy with experimenting with his magic. However, when approached, he beams with happiness and never misses a chance to speak with others.
Facing him for the first time, people might be a bit intimidated by just how confident he appears to be, and how knowledgeable he is. But once someone get to know his well, they will know that while he is indeed radiating confidence in himself, he strives to help everyone and make them in turn confident about their abilities.
When facing challenges and threat, Allen always remain calm and keeps his wits about himself. He observes the issues at hand, and tries to find a logic way to solve it. In combat or during sparring sessions, the same train of thought is applied. Assuming one would not know of Strauss’ abilities, he would rather keep an ace up his sleeve, trying to hide the fact he can use multi-elemental magic. As a matter of fact, he will often appears to be a single-elemental magic user, until he can catch his opponent off-guard.
Magic Discipline: Elemental Magic Unlike most magic-user, Allen poured all of his intellect and training into learning all the aspects of Elemental Magic. While he does not hold mastery over a single element, like how Pyromancers or Hydromancers would control fire and water respectively with unparalleled mastery, the young prodigy can use a vast repertoire of spells to compensate for various situations, making him a most versatile caster. To learn about all facets of Elemental magic, it takes a life-long worth of study, hence the reason Allen has been at the university for so long, and is still learning something new everyday.
When manifesting a spell, Allen's tattoos glow corresponding to the element of the spell he is using. When making an advanced type of casting, not only does his tattoes glow, but a faint circle representing the element(s) symbol(s) shine all around Allen.
Elemental magic consists of the following:
Primordial Elements: -Fire: Self-explanatory, fire element consists of summoning fire. Anything heat-based at least requires the use of this element. Fire magic is considered to be the most offensive of the elements. -Water: Everything that consists of water, even ice, encompass tis element. Water magic is a very versatile type of element, ranging from defensive to offensive spells. -Air: Conjuring strong winds and striking down with thunderous lightning bolts, those are mainly what this magic uses. Air magic is often used in quick skirmishes, as spells falling under this type of element are mostly the quickest of all. Earth: An element that encompasses pure defense, earth magic boasts unparalleled toughness and endurance. While there are a lot of offensive spells, earthen mages prefer to rise shields and walls of stone to parry incoming attacks, and counter-attack from these.
Elements of Creation: -Light: Often considered the Element of Life, light magic is all about unraveling secrets, banishing darkness and doubts. Unlike Life magic, light element does not heal, but is especially dangerous to being made of darkness and evil. -Darkness: The opposite of Light, Darkness is the other half of Creation. This element shrouds everything in enigma, confuses those who can’t understand its nature. Unlike Death magic, Darkness does not drain life force away, nor can it be used for necromancy, but it is especially useful to conceal oneself.
At this point in life, Allen has the control over his spells much like an advanced Novice. As a matter of fact, he is nearly as skillful as a Journeyman with every element of his magic. While his magic does seem uncontrolled and rough on the edges, it is mostly because of his vast understanding of magic and his ability to use all the aspects of Elemental Magic he is being considered near Master rank. Most of his teachers tell him that should he attain Journeyman control over all of his spells, he would be granted Mastership.
While most would consider about studying more about a single element and making it stronger, Allen goes further into versatility and is currently learning how to merge elements together. For now, he has absolutely no control over fusing elements together, and as such his attempts to do so have proven to be very chaotic, dangerous even. But his attempts have proven to get better, and is another reason the masters consider the young man near graduate.
Equipment: Several spell tomes, most of which he has written himself, containing knowledge about each element of Elemental Magic, theorems about the existence of Elemental Magic, and fundamentals on magic. But all of these tomes are securely hidden at home. Those tomes are so heavy by themselves that it would be impossible to walk around with this many at all times.
Also, Allen has a pet fox, or rather a familiar would be the better to term to use for it. Going by the name of Kyuu, the white fox is an extension of Allen’s goodwill. It possesses intelligence near of a human, but it can’t speak, nor write. However, it has very sharp senses, and seem to detect whether someone is good or ill-intentioned. In cases of good-willed individuals, Kyuu will seem to grow fond of those people, while encountering bad people will make her hide in Allen’s jacket, snarl or outright spit at such people.
Biography: For as long as he can remember, Allen always was by himself, his only friend being the white fox that followed him around no matter where he went. The young man never knew his parents, nor did he know much about his early life. He only assumed that he was abandoned because he was “different” from most people.
From a very young age, Allen learnt how to survive all by himself. He had learned the rough reality of an everyday worker ever since he was the age of 6. While he did not do much, his young self worked hard to be able to feed himself and his fox pet. It has been like that until he turned 7 years old.
One day, as he was camping out in the wilderness in order to gather some ingredients for the local mages, he was attacked by a bear. Only a mere child, death was all but assured. However, just as the animal was about to maul him, a cloaked figure interposed itself. He did not see what had happened, but the bear quickly fell, as if it had died of a panic attack.
His savior was none other than the woman who would’ve become his master. Whether it was an act out of pity, a simple act of generosity, or something she had seen in the boy, the traveling lady took the boy as her apprentice. For a whole year, they had traveled far and wide, until their steps would lead them to Breakfast University of Magic. While not officially invited to the prestigious establishment, it would seem that Allen’s master was a figure of importance, securing a special permission for the boy to stay at the academy with her until the day he would be able to use his magic efficiently without her aid.
Then, just like that, Strauss was left behind by his master only the day after he had been admitted into B.U.M. Ever since then, Allen had taken example of his master and worked hard every day to hone his magical talents. Not only would he try to live up to his master’s expectations, but he would also try to do the same thing she did to him, teach as many promising students as possible about the wonders of magic, and how to strive in this cruel reality using all of their potential.
Master: Allen’s master has always been a mystery to him. She rarely ever spoke of herself, and besides teaching the young man, she rarely ever spoke to him at all. However, Strauss had learned that his mentor was just like him, a scholar of multiple schools of magic. However, she was more than just a master, she had terrifying control over both Life and Death, proficient at both healing the injured and bringing painful death upon her foes.
Allen never knew the reason she took him as an apprentice, nor why she suddenly decided to leave him behind at the university. Actually, he felt like he was holding her back from her own plans, which would explain why she left him as soon as he manifested a hint of independence in his studies.
Even though his master is shrouded in mystery, Allen will always be grateful for having taken care of him, and showing him the right path to take in life.
If Allen was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: His love for humanity. With the current goal he has set in life is the pursuit of being the greatest Magi in the world, then he would be ready to cast away his humanity, his love for others and hope in humankind in order to reach his dreams. If Allen was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: To be one with magic. Simply put, he wants to understand magic at its fullest and be able to use any kind of magic. In the end, he has the ambitious dream of becoming a being of ultimate magic.
Noah isn't a very muscular person, but what he lacks in muscle, he makes up for in speed. He sits at about 6 foot and 60 kilos (132.277 pounds). His eyes glow a very vibrant red that could almost be seen in total darkness, a distinctive trait among his family. His black hair has hints of crimson streak through it, however his hair is often covered by his iconic red cloak.
Year: Noah came to the university at the age of 8, so he has been attending for 12 years.
Rank: Journeyman
Room No.: 14-B
Personality: Noah is very distant with a lot of people, often only speaking to his Master. He is almost always alone training, however in the last couple of years he has reached out, growing bonds with others, knowing people, speaking. Switching his personality around has made a massive impact on his life as he feels stronger knowing dying would mean leaving people behind.
Magic Discipline: Blood Magic Noah's magic is a lost magic that isn't common among many people as the Mage has to have the trait already in them (With rare exceptions). Blood Magic allows Noah's to manipulate his own blood in a variety of ways to help with offence, defense and even in utility. Fusing his magic with the blood opens up a variety of moves and if learnt, the user can manipulate others blood.
Blood Magic: Boiling Speed - Noah controls his blood in his own body to the point that he can gain spped i his movement, almost twice as fast as any human.
Blood Magic: Dripping Blades - Noah can solidify his own blood, allowing him to create various tools and weapons with his own blood, from swords and daggers to shoes and gloves.
Blood Magic: Crimson Explosion - One of Noah's more deadly attacks and can often lead to ones death, this attack can allow Noah to manipulate anothers blood, causing, if he wished, someones body to explode, or an arm. However he will only use this as a last resort as this attack, causes massive strain on his own body
More will be added over the course of time
Equipment: Noah has two distinctive rings on both of his middle fingers. These have a pin on the underside, allowing Noah to open up his body for his blood to pour out.
Biography: Noah and his Master were as close as ever, teaching each other a new way of living everyday. He had spent 10 years living and learning alongside his Master, so when his Master started acting strange, Noah picked up on it. Noah had kept an extra eye on him, learning his Master was up to evil, Noah couldn't believe it and tried to make sense of it. However, he confronted him and asked him to confess. The master and student engaged in a duel and Noah can't remember the outcome, he came to and his Master was gone but the area surrounding him showed signs of an epic fight and his body felt pummeled. Rumors quickly spread about his Master and because of that, Noah was known as 'The student of Traitors' believed to have helped his Master in his treachery while others believed he killed his Master in combat. Noah hasn't let this get to him much, and instead chooses to train everyday so he is never in a position of weakness again, to protect those he knows, the knowledge the school has and the University he calls Home.
Master: Shade 'The Traitor' Imre
If Noah was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: He has three things important to him, a necklace of his former Master, the University, and those he has bonds with. He would give the necklace or his life.
If Noah was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: To fight his Master in combat once again, to get it done right.
And I would love to have 2 characters as I am a die hard roleplayer who can keep 2 going at a time, but I understand that others need to have at least one so Noah (Mage above) is my first submit, and if I'm allowed to have 2, Britney (Mage) below is my second submit :p

Britney is a very small girl sitting at 5.5 foot and 55 kilos (121.254 pounds). She has long red hair and her beige suit allows her to both move fast in combat but also maintain slight modesty

"Do I know you? No, I don't think so, But do you want to play anyways? No? Waaah? You'll make a little girl cry...That's too bad...I am Viola Rifei, pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Name: Viola Rifei
Age: 17
Gender: female
"Despite my appearance, I am not a child and would appreciate it if you did treat me as one...unless you plan on spoiling me. Then go ahead, hehe~"
Appearance: Standing at four foot seven and usually sporting a slightly mischievous, somewhat knowing seeming smirk, Viola is definitely not what one would call physically impressive. Slender, and lacking any sort of definite muscle. Sometimes, she is mistaken for a child because of her appearance. Her skin is free of any blemishes and markings of any kind. Her eyes are a dark grey color and sports black colored hair that falls well past her shoulders.
Clothing wise, she is a fan of rather complicated and somewhat eccentric and expensive dresses, preferring darker colors such as black, purple, and dark blue. Her current dress is a black dress, with white accents and red bows that falls to her waist where it meets a pair of black stockings and dress shoes. Why she chose to wear those instead of something more suiting is anyone guess. Some assume she's simply the child of a wealthy family and takes very good care of herself and is quite the pampered little brat, and doesn't know any better. She comments she simply likes the style.
Year: 2nd.
Rank: Novice
Room No.: 22-A
Personality: Viola...definitely does not behave the way her appearance might suggest. At first impression, she'd come off as incredibly formal and polite. Talk with her long enough though, and you'll find a somewhat self-centered, cynical, mischievous, somewhat playfully aggressive little girl who has a rather large seeming ego. However, this is just her attempting to be 'cute' or 'cheeky'. Truthfully, she doesn't take her own words to heart, and would never consider herself better than anyone.
After that, she is fairly friendly and likes meeting people and being around people, and also simply likes watching them for...entertainment purposes.
Another thing to note, would be an insatiable curiosity about anything and everything. Magic, history, technology...everything. While her physical skills are lacking, her academic studies and focus on such things likely make her one of the smarter persons in the school.
However, like with everyone, she does have her own vices and sins. Hers, is curiosity and a lust and love of all knowledge, and her rather cynical and logical outlook on life and people, despite her seeming playfulness. She, would do anything for the sake of knowledge, and her curiosity drives her to meddle in quite a number of affairs, especially ones that offer the most entertainment value. For the most part, they are likely to be harmless...but perhaps, it could get everyone into trouble one day.
Magic Discipline:
Spirit Contractor/Summoner
Simply put, Viola is quite in tune with the spiritual forces of the world. Creatures that initially have no corporeal form, or possibly those creatures such as Naiads, Dryads, or Nymphs, she can usually communicate with on some level. This can offer her quite a bit of versatility when it comes to combat and skills, as each spirit offers her a differing set of abilities, usually. She may even 'Contract' a spirit, as in give it a physical form and have it become a permanent partner until she decides to terminate that contract.
Some things to keep in mind though, is that summoning spirits usually takes quite a while, depending on the skill of the summoner and the rank of the spirit. It is also a one time deal, the duration of their help only usually lasting for a brief moment in time, lasting typically anywhere from fifteen to thirty minutes. This can have quite the downside in a direct conflict, since she would require protection of some sort to be able to summon one. The power of the spirit varies, but typically they can be quite devastating against most foes. They may manifest themselves as a separate entity, or merely lend a fraction of their power to Viola for her to command themselves. Another spirit summoner could possibly force the spirit back to wherever it came as well, should they be skilled enough.
Contracting a spirit is entirely different, however. It requires the contractor to make a deal with the spirit, for whatever reason. Upon completion of the contract, the spirit begins living 'with' the mage, typically they start sharing a body, and their power is easily summoned by the mage. The contents of the contract can be anything the spirit or mage desire. This offers quite an advantage over simply summoning one for a duration of time. However, the downside is they are unable to summon another spirit for as long as this contract is taken, and they can only contract one, possibly two at the same time, and its sometimes quite a difficult process and the mage can sometimes get the bad end of the deal if they're not careful and are dealing with a less...nicely inclined spirit.
To contract one, it varies from spirit to spirit. It could be as simple as a binding, verbal agreement, or as bad as a seal signed in blood.
Currently, as a simple Novice she is capable enough. Summoning a spirit typically requires quite a bit of time, though and she would need to be quite careful when contracting a stronger one, and she currently doesn't have one. It is more difficult to forcibly send back a contracted spirit, as by law of the contract they are forbidden from leaving until they terminate the contract.
Equipment: Carries a journal on her, where she keeps up with various spells, rituals, and names of potentially interesting spirits she learned from her master.
Biography: Viola's life has been rather...mundane, if one counts being raised by a Mage who made it quite clear she wasn't her parent as mundane. That's not to say Livia wasn't a loving guardian figure, but she was incredibly strict and made sure Viola knew the meaning of the word 'Study' and 'Academics'. In fact, the two got along surprisingly well, with Viola's natural curiosity and propensity for things of the academic nature, save for the both of theirs rather...mischievous natures.
When she was ten, she started learning the practical applications of magic, starting with simply 'seeing' the spirits. When she was twelve, she started learning how to communicate with them, which was made difficult by the fact that each spirit sometimes had a different way to communicate. A different dialect, language, or sometimes they didn't communicate at all, depending on their origins. When fourteen, she summoned her first spirit under Livia's supervision.
That was about the extent of their relationship. Livia told her should should pursue her own studies after that. Viola of course, decided to take her up on that offer and has been studying at B.U.M. for the past year or so.
Master: Livia Fiore. A User of spirit herself, who insisted upon being called 'Mistress' when she was apprenticing under her. She taught her the basics and saw her through her first summoning, but after that Viola was on her own. Livia, and likewise Viola, are large believers in independent study and after making sure she knew everything in theory, she let Viola go and study on her own.
It's unlikely she will take another, unless the benefit would be too great for her to say no too.
If [Viola] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: Anything is fair game, it would just depend on if the sacrifice was worth it. Nothing is too valuable to lose, if what would be gained was of perceived equal value. Otherwise, she wouldn't take the deal.
If no one else would step up to the plate and this was an important matter, she'd step up to the plate without hesitation though.
If [Viola] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: Simply put, Immortality. She would give up everything for the chance for it. A simple, age-old want that quite a few men have had in the past.
Various Poltergeists: Harmless things, really nothing more than a nuisance, but they seem to follow Viola around quite a bit after she made friends with a few of them after frequent trips to the graveyard.
Appearance:Lee towers at five foot nine with a body build more suited to dancing than what she normally does. Her golden locks are normally kept flowing wild and free with a black forehead band keeping it from her face. Her electric blue eyes are usually kept behind either a pair of big, dark sunglasses or a pair of garden safety goggles. Lee's naturally pale skin tone grew tanned due to the many hours she spends underneath the sun.
Lee's clothing style tends to scream a feminine and, yet, rebellious fashion statement. No matter of she's sporting an off-shoulder top or a frilly rose-patterned skirt, Lee cannot be seen without her trademark black and yellow-trimmed suspenders, and spiked choker. She keeps a small terrarium attached to the messenger bag she carries around everywhere.
Year: 13
Rank: Journeyman
Room No.: 21-A
Personality: Lee in one word is optimistic. She's as bright as the sun that warms the flowers in her own little garden. She's normally seen with a brilliant grin on her lips and a helping hand extended towards the many students around the school. She makes the most out of everything, choosing to live in the now instead of worrying incessantly about the past or the future. As long as she has the university, Ophelia, and her plants, then she would be fine. But Lee's wrath is as bad as nature itself. Harm any of the things she cares for and your punishment may come in the petty form of thorns in all your breeches or a head-on fight. Although, after she feels that all has been paid in full, she'll smile at you once more and help you up on your feet.
Magic Discipline: Nature Magic. Lee's magic comes from the land itself and the many, many who inhabit it. Users of this form of magic can directly influence and manipulate nature to their advantage, and are able to survive in any natural environment. Lee's magic also allows her to communicate with ease with nature, using the plant life encompassing the school to quickly gather information or trap her opponents. She is also able to control animal life to do her bidding, though this is done through a bonding ritual, and even take the shape of some that she has studied fully. While Lee has some control over natural phenomenon and weather, it is weak and unrealiable due to her lacking strength. Nature also sustains her that she needs very little sustenance after long periods under the sun.
Shapeshift
As part of her nature magic, Lee can take an animal form. Some she can do with ease that all she needs is to think of the form, but others require a carefully chanted spell and a piece of the animal (a tooth or a tuft of fur would so). Currently, Lee can easily shapeshift into a dog, a raven, a mouse. She can also shift into a lioness, although with mild difficulty.
Plant Manipulation
The movement of her arms becomes the movements of the plantlife around her. Using this spell for an extended period of time can tire her out, but she can maintain it easily enough for a long fight so long as she doesn't receive much mental or spiritual damage. With this spell, she can manipulate nearby vines to hinder her opponen's movements or roots to shield her body from damage. She also enjoys using this spell to create a battleaxe out of plant life.
One With Nature
Her connection with nature is nigh unbreakable. In moments of meditation, Lee can tap into plants and animals around her to see the world through their eyes. This spell is useful for gathering information and scouting ahead, but with her Journeyman abilities, she can only maintain a full connection with at most two creatures.
Breathe
While not inherently Lee's main usage of nature magic, she can cast a weak healing spell to deal with small injuries. This healing spell directly ties to her location and current fatigue level. If she is under sunlight, she can heal most injuries despite being winded. Without sunlight, the capabilities of her spell rely on her ability to sustain magic enough to heal.
Equipment: A small, bottled terrarium attached to her bag; a bag specially enchanted to allow the stored herbs and plants to maintain their life and freshness; a small journal filled with notes on different kinds of plant life around the school
Biography: Eighteen years ago, a young Novice mage decided to push the limits of his abilities. Late night in one of the many rooms around the university, he gathered his materials, drew up his circle, and began his chant. Had he been able to achieve exactly what it was that he was attempting, he would have been heralded the greatest mage of the age. Alas, true to form, the novice had overestimated his skills. Truly, how could one so young with talents as sharp as a blunted rock even think he would be able to not only summon a deity, but also harness its abilities as his own. When the school officials found him, he was nothing but ashes and only the remnants of his attempt remained. At the very center of his summoning circle floated a small piece of the deity he'd summoned.
The school's professors wasted no time in studying the specimen, noticing very quickly that plant and animal life around the campus grounds quickly decayed. It was a Grandmaster nature magi named Ophelia that was able to piece everything together and strive to resolve it. What the young mage had attempted to summon was a deity of the forest, and a very powerful one at that, that he forcefully ripped from its home to enter his circle. Unfortunately, due to his lacking skills, the summoning circle hadn't been able to hold and tore apart the deity. The scattered parts of the deity flowed through time and space, with one piece of it left behind at B.U.M.
It was a temporary solution, but Ophelia and the other Grandmasters were able to create a human body for the piece to inhabit. Thus Lee - an ageless female human with an affinity for nature - was formed. Unfortunately, her situation had limitations. She has no memory of her existence as a deity; her magic, albeit inherently powerful, cannoy rise to its full potential unless she's once again whole; and lastly, she cannot leave the school grounds as it is its magic that sustains her.
The first five years of her human existence had been spent learning the customs of civilized humans, and much of the years later were used to hone her abilities. It wasn't until the end of her seventeenth year that she was informed of her true existence.
Master: Ophelia, a Grandmaster nature mage who has retired from teaching.. She was the one who helped and took in Lee. The foolish young mage was her son.
If Lee was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: Ophelia. The old woman is the most important thing in Lee's life as she looks up to her like a mother.
If Lee was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: to become whole. There has always been a lingering sense of loss within her and now that she knows the resson why, she wants to find the rest of her. If anything, she's excited for the possibility that she might be able to explore the world when she's finally whole.
Appearance: 4 foot nothing and 60 lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes, Phagora is cute as hell, pardon the pun, and she knows it. She often wears a rose-colored dress and a bright pink bow in her hair, just to add to the effect.
Year: 1
Rank: Apprentice
Room #: 62-E
Personality: Phagora has two very distinct sides to her. Be nice to her (or better yet, spoil her rotten), and she'll love you all day long. Cross her, though, and out come the curses. You have been warned.
Magic Discipline: Black magic. Basically, a catch-all term for things like curses, necromancy, blood magic, and demon summoning. If it has no useful purpose beyond general maliciousness, it's within her purview. Downside to being such a generalist is that she won't ever be able to cast spells as strong as a specialist in a particular area.
Equipment: The Book of Invidiel- This book was a gift from her father to her mother, and thence to Phagora. Written by a demonic prince, the book contains many blasphemous and dangerous bits of magic within. It can only be safely read by those with infernal heritage. If someone else reads it, there are three different possible outcomes. The vast majority of the time (like 99.9%), it just appears as gibberish, and no spell can clear it up. If you're really unlucky, you can get a bad case of insane as your brain tries to comprehend things it wasn't meant to know. If you're really, really unlucky, the energies within will cause your soul to spontaneously combust. Not a fun way to go.
Biography: Phagora has a foot in two worlds, neither one of which is very nice. Her mother was a witch who specialized in demon summoning, and her father was one her contracts. She grew up with mom, being taught the dark magic she worked with. Unfortunately, knowledge does not always translate into talent. Worse yet, she had ideas about how to use these powers. Things like being a soldier or policewoman, causing harm to some in order to protect the many. Her mother sent her off to B.U.M. to learn how to control her powers. The corrupting could come later...
Master: At home, it was Phagora's mother, Emily. A dark and evil being, but Phagora is trying to resist her influence and stay on the good side. It ain't easy.
If she had to sacrifice something to advance: She doesn't have much to offer, so she'd sacrifice a little bit of her magic. She wouldn't be able to help people as well, but she wouldn't be able to do as much harm, either.
If she had one wish: To be able to live as she truly is. No hiding magic, no being shoved down the path of evil, no one hating her for being half-demon. Small chance of that, though.
Personality: Mysterious yet Kind, very naïve and lacking information.
Magic Discipline: Magical Construct - The creation of magical constructs using the magic at his core he can manipulate and create magical constructs, from golems to magical tools, can even use his magic to create a 'Dungeon' a magical construct, among other things.
Dungeon Master/Dungeoneering - The power to control a dungeon, when inside of a dungeon the user has created they have full control of their surroundings as long as they have enough magical power. A crystal core can be placed in the dungeon to generate extra magical power like a battery over time, fairly slow goes by a day to day basis. Within the dungeon the user can access a special menu with lists of various things they can create by using magical power both of their own and the dungeon's. This menu can have anything the user has knowledge of besides human life. If the user has knowledge of a specific item such as an iron sword he can use the menu to create one for magical cost and material cost, same for creatures that are enslaved to the dungeon and cannot leave it, even food can be made in such a way. This menu can also be used to design special attributes or perimeters to the dungeon should the user be experienced enough, such as having any creature inside the dungeon drop special ingredients that can be used in other magic, or alchemy. This power is unavailable unless the user is inside the dungeon they have created, and can't affect a room that 'invaders' are currently in. If the dungeon core is destroyed or have no means to gather any magical power for 24 hours then the dungeon will collapse spitting out any of it's occupants not created by the dungeon. If the master is cut off from the dungeon, goes to far from the dungeon, or can't control their power the dungeon will collapse.
Enchanting - He can enchant objects with unique properities, from things he makes to random items, he doesn't yet know he can do this or has even tried.
-Gained thanks to how his body is- Magical Repair - Thanks to his body he naturally can use magic to repair things, as he has done this unconsciously on his own body when ever it is damaged, depending on the injury would determine how long it would take, this even allows him to recover a lost arm, since his body isn't human. If controlled could also 'repair' people to an extent though would require a lot of power and time. Crystal Magic - By using crystals inside his body he can use any type of magic aslong as a crystal is filled with that type of magic, this is limited in it's uses by how much the crystal can hold, and his knowledge of the magic. Example: if a small crystal if filled with fire elemental magic, he would be able to use fire elemental magic by using the magic in the crystal, which would only last for some many uses.
Equipment: Various crystals in his body, His Core inside him at his center, various books in a bag he carried that he took from his master, as well as some money.
Biography: A regular farm boy Charles enjoyed his days exploring the forests around his family's farm, and taking care of the various animals there. Until he meet a strange man in the forest one day, who took him away and begun to teach him about magic. He studied various basic principles of magic under his master, even begun to create constructs with magic. That is until his master showed his true colors, his master started to teach him because he seen the talent in Charles, and seen him as a perfect experiment candidate. One day the master had put Charles to sleep using his own magic and begun the experiment, turning Charles into a rare if not the only Magical construct that closest matches a human but yet isn't a human. The process destroyed all of Charles' memories, all he was left with was instinct and his name. After the experiment.. Charles killed his master out of rage when he awoke, he didn't know why he felt rage or understood what rage even was, but he still acted apon it and killed his master for a deed he didn't even know happened. He took the books his master had along with other items he seen that could be important and begun a journey to find a place where he could learn what he is.. and what he could accomplish.
Master: Kael Talson - A master who was shunned by other magic users because of his experiemental ethics he would go to any lengths to fulfil his creations. Including turning a regular human boy.. into a construct.
If [Charles] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: Thanks to his master he has already sacrificed everything, his body, his memories, everything important he has nothing left. If [Charles] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: He wouldn't know what to wish for until he found something.
Luna stands at the average height for a female at her age, with dark hazel hair, which is either braided or simply kept loose. The woman keeps herself tidy as often as she can. Her face is unscarred, not having been subject to being blown up or the likes. Luna always seem to be able to wear different outfits each day, that sometimes being darker robes, or a colorful dress.
Upon Luna's left arm there is a sigil that sometimes lights up in a faint golden. The Sigil doesn't appear to be bigger than the size of an apple.
Year: Sixth year.
Rank: Journeymen
Room No.: 22-A
Personality: Luna is an already talented sorceress, having study a fair bit with her parents before she was accepted into the University at the age of 13. She quickly got an almost worrying interest in the subject of Chronomancy, time magic. Though she has a good understanding of offensive conjurations as well, it is the aspect of time she spends most of her time studying, both in the subject of using time to grow food, or manipulate age of smaller creatures. While it isn’t a secret that she studies it, she is rather secretive about the result of her experiments.
She is rather open to people however, never refusing to assist others should they need it. The woman is rather lighthearted, always enjoying conversation and humor.
Magic Discipline: Luna spends most her time studying the art of Chronomancy, and has grown to be fairly adept in the art. Though she (obviously) still has plenty to learn, and is years from mastering it, the woman has already managed to control a few incantations, such as manipulating growth of crops, by simply forcing it forward in time.
Fully knowing the possible dangers, should one mess with the full aspect of time, she has great interest in the subject.
For good measure, Luna has studied the use of fire, as an element. Though she isn’t as experienced in that, she still manages to be able to conjure a fireball or two, should the time call for it.
Equipment: A book on Chronomancy, handed to her after the disappearence of her father. Title: “The Aspect of Time - A Chronomancy Study"
Biography: Daughter of two mages, Luna was exposed to magic early in her life. Whilst her mother was primarily a user of spells that would mend wounds and cure diseases, Luna never had much interest for that. Instead, it was her father, Pannamus Prior who introduced her to the possibility of manipulating time. While he did not dare teach her much, (seeing as he was not skilled in it himself) he loved to tell her of the places and things he would want to see.
At the age of 13, Luna’s father disappeared. Neither her mother nor herself knew why, but it was suspected it might’ve been caused by a rift in time that he had created, and he was stranded somewhere else, in another time. It was that same year that her mother decided to send Luna off to the B.U.M, taking along her fathers beloved book “The Aspect of Time - A Chronomancy Study"
Master: Eleanor McKinly - Teacher on time magic.
If Luna was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: If ultimately required, Luna would be willing to give up the emotion of love, should it lead her towards her goals. She holds great affection for her mother, and would be absolutely devasted if she had to give it up, but would be willing to, if it was the only choice there was.
If Luna was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: Without a second of hesitation, Luna would wish to gain complete control of time, wishing to experience what has already happened, and what will happen, and possibly find her father, should he still live.
Personality: Leo once sought to know everything, to encompass the breadth and depth of magical and mundane knowledge inside his head. He used to be able to devote all his time to reading and studying, despite what that said about him and his social skills. But, ever since making a friend, and then being seperated from them as they had become a Master, Leo has begun studying and training for a more narrow purpose - to get stronger, to become more powerful, and to make sure that he would be able to meet his friend outside the Academy, to converse with them as peers. And of course, if new friends were to be encountered in that, well...
Oh, and Leo likes both gals and guys.
Magic Discipline: Source Magic (Existence Aeon)
Source Magic is basically the art of controlling magical energy in its purest form, without altering it into another element of existence such as fire or matter. Basically, it is Magic that manipulates Mana, Magic that allows for replenishing others' magical energy, shielding others from magic, creating constructs from 'Condensed Mana', creating and fueling magitech and basic enchanted items, and finally, unleashing bolts of silvery-white energy that inflict damage that is resistant to Magic*.
Clarification permitted by the GM: Every Mage can see magical energies, and any Mage who studies can see what Aeon(s) a spell is composed of. But Leo can do that slightly better than other Magi.
*But not Science.
Equipment: Clothes, School Supplies, Smartphone, Sword.
Biography: Leo was born into the Academy, to two Journeymen who then left after becoming Masters, some say to pursue independent practice, others say to combat a vague, but powerful threat, but either way, he was raised by other students and teachers, and filled with an eagerness to pursue knowledge by them, most of all about the Magic his parents had pursued, the magic of Source. In his heart, he wanted to be reunited with them, with people who he knew only through pictures and stories, and knowing things was his way to get closer to that goal. Because of this single-mindedness, he found it hard to make friends his own age, found it hard to do so for a long, long time. Then, five years ago, at the age of thirteen, someone his own age finally entered the academy.
This someone, a young man named Daniel, was rude and standoffish at first, due to having lost his parents due to a disaster he refused to talk about, a disaster that was related to infighting among the higher-ups of Mage society. But Leo never stopped trying to be his friend, even saving time from his studies just to get closer to Daniel, who eventually warmed up to him. Together, the two promised this: That they would one day be Masters, and seek out Leo's parents together.
But after that, another disaster would strike; news would arrive at the academy that Leo's parents, they who had left him in the campus, had been abducted by an unknown enemy, while preventing the same disaster that had taken Daniel's own parents. Their last words were:
Leo, we are so sorry, sorry for leaving you behind, leaving you with others, missing out on so much of your life. But, and please believe us, we wanted to keep you safe; the course we are going through, the people we are fighting, we cannot let them become a threat to you. We love you, Leo, and we regret that keeping you safe meant that we would never, ever, see your face...
- Demetrius and Eleonora Young.
Daniel then put his hand on Leo's shoulder as they read the letter in the library of the school, then said:
"I'll rescue your parents, you'll see. Then you can see them with your own eyes, and they can see you. And...we can be a family together." It was then that Leo realized: Daniel loved him. But in pursuit of that love, Daniel broke his promise to be Masters together, and graduated, leaving Leo alone once more...
And Leo was just left in despair...
Master: Dunno, can this be filled in?
If [Character] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: Nothing. I've lost far too much. If [Character] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: To meet my family and best friend again, of course!
Appearance: Under Alexander's sleeves are tribal tattoos, or more realistically, cut markings made in his skin in tribal formations used as a medium for his magic.
Year: 1st
Rank: Journeyman
Room No.:
Personality: Alexander used to be a very open person but due to his magical study of choice he has become very reclusive and slightly insane.
Magic Discipline: Dark/Blood magic (enchantments and spell casting)
Blood magic- Blood enchanting: uses blood to increase the power of enchanted items or create enchantments like soul trap
Blood letting: a spell that allows control over someones blood through wounds in their body.
Iron possession: control over the iron directly in the blood.
Blood spike: allows blood to be used as a projectile weapon.
Also has the ability to use blood to heal people as well instead of hurt.
Dark magic- Soul possession:unobtained:power that allows for control over another's soul potentially allowing them to control or even kill them and others.
Necromancy: spell casting that can temporarily bring back the dead as allies.
Equipment: other than his own hands his only real equipment is a sapphire embedded pentagram necklace that he never removes.
Biography: When Alexander was born both his parents were very young. His mother died during labor and his father had to raise him alone. Alexander's father worked two jobs and by the time Alex was six his father became Ill and passed away. In his fathers old study Alexander found some old books on magical study. One in particular stuck out to him.
It was a dark black book with blood red writing. Day and night he read this book looking for a way that magic could bring his parents back to life. He began carving symbols and magic circles into his arms as to have a closer medium to his magic. Almost bonding himself to the art. The more he studied the crazier the magic drove him.
Regardless of everything that was happening he knew he was good in his craft and by age 10 he started to study harder and harder and one day he found a way to control more and even once finally rose his parents from the dead. What came back was not what he expected. Orphaned and living on his own Alex wanted nothing more than to have his parents back. These monsters that he saw we're not that.
At the age of 14 Alexander sent a letter out to different academies for magical studies and one year later to the exact day he received a letter back from one academy in particular. The Breakfast Academy for Magic Or B.U.M for short. This was exciting for the young teen because he wanted to learn everything he could. He knew his magical style was different than others but more than anything in the world he wanted this. Because all he wanted was somewhere to belong.
Master: Alexander is self taught from books he found in his fathers old study.
If [Alexander] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: his humanity
If [Alexander] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: To see his mothers face just once.
Wearing strange robes, he stands at 1.98m. Golden locks of hair can see hanging under his cowl, resting over his shoulders. His arms and legs have a deep black tone, unlike the rest of his body. His hands have two holes, with a unnatural white tone emanating from where his flesh would be. His face is very beautiful, although its mostly covered by his cowl and scarf.
Year: Uncertain. Estimated around 6-8 years.
Rank: Journeyman. His rank would be higher if it wasnt for his habit to disappear for months, or to the occasions where he sealed himself due to his experiments, or the raw mana explosions... or the accident where his old room was magically sealed between dimensions, and is somehow... unreachable.
Room No.: Currently he has no room. His last room was magically sealed in an accident. No one knows what resides within his old room.
Personality: Air headed, Viktor is constantly thinking about magic itself, and weaving. Due to his apparent isolationist behaviour, many think of him as anti social, but in fact he is actually very amicable and kind to those who get close to him. He is almost always seen observating and meddling with magic essence, that take form as strings from various collors, sizes and making intrincate knots and forms between his hands. Due to his habit to always "decompose" the magical knots (enchantments and magics), sometimes going as far as trying to pull the magical strings that govern the reality itself, its not hard that he suddenly disappear when walking on the campus, being teleported or sealed between dimensions. People often stay away from him, due to the little "accidents" that seem to follow him around. Thinks that duels dont have any reason and are a waste of time. Has the bad habit of decomposing any enchantments or spell he doesnt know or understands to learn about it. Magic Discipline: Weaver.
Weavers are able to see and feel the magic around them as "strings" with various colors and sizes. The most complicated enchantments, spells and magical forces are often seen as very intrincate knots, with many different strings. They can "pull" certain strings to tap into their power, for example, to control elements, raw magic, weave incantations, seals, magical traps... Weavers can also "decompose" a spell or an incantation into primal energy and mana, effectively rendering it useless. The more complicated the spell, the more time it takes. Experienced weavers can manipulate primal strings, strings wich govern over the essential magic forces that rule the world, the magic and reality itself. Although powerful, pulling primal strings is a very dangerous process, and if theymove the wrong string or pull it too much, the effects can be very imprevisible, often leading to disastrous results to the weaver and / or its surroundings.
Equipment: Only his weird clothes. He does not carry any other magical object with him, because it can interfere on his weaving.
Biography: Weavers. Often depicted as dangerous individuals who care about nothing but destruction Many people keep away from them. The presence of a weaver is said to bring destruction and chaos to those nearby. Unlike their fame, almost all weavers are peaceful scholars, and often avoid unnecessary conflicts. Being a weaver is very dangerous. Due to their power, knowledge and abilities, weavers cannot be greedy, and must know that there are certain strings they must not pull. As if their own power wasnt enough to worry about, weavers are hunted by other mages. Some say that no one should have a weaver's abilities, some say that weavers are too dangerous, and others want to capture them to make experiences and try to wield the weaver's powers to their own.
Viktor was raised by a magic organization, and was experimented since he was a child. He had to endure extensive trainings, to resist magical forces, and to apprimorate his weaving. As he grew, the trainings started to get even more dangerous; When he completed 10 years, he was ordered to pull a primal string. Not even experienced weavers liked to mess with those forces, and now, a child was tapering with it. The result of this experience was obviously, a faliure. A child could never have the discipline and will to resist the urge to pull the primal strings, nor the ability, experience, knowledge and dexterity to weave such dangerous threads. The moment he pulled the thread, a bright light flashed into the room, and pure magic burned his body and mind. The primal string went wild, making holes on both of his hands, the raw magic burned his arms and legs, turning them completely black, with a magical burn. His mind got overflown with magic, his memories, burned with an agonizing pain. His heart stopped beating and his blood boiled, evaporating.
When the magic calmed down, the only thing that could be seen in the room was an unconscious body. Thinking he was dead, the mages threw his body away, as a failed experiment. A few hours later, Viktor woke up, only to find out that his heard had stopped and in his veins, ran only pure mana and not even a single drop of blood.
Thanks to his mind and memoried being burned blank by the raw magic, he did what he would normally do... He started wandering, studying and gathering knowledge, as it was natural to most of other weavers. Surprisingly, he received a letter. He wasnt certain who or what was able to find him, but the letter said about a certain university of magic. It seemed the perfect place for him to pursue knowledge, so he resolved to go there. After all, a university was the perfect place to study, plus, he would maybe have a chance to be treated fairly, without people trying to capture or kill him.
Some years later, he had built quite a "reputation" for him in the university. Sadly, it wasnt a particularly good one... His experiments often led to his disappearance for weeks, even months. Other students often avoided him, but he was already used to it. At least they werent trying to kill him. Well... he had his doubts about the university staff... They DID seem like they wanted to get rid of him. Especially after his experiments... Master: Rogue organization / self taught.
If [Character] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: His safety, as he usually does normally. If [Character] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: Unrestricted and safe access to the primal strings, in order to study and understand them.
Name: "My name is Klaus Knuez. A pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Age: "I am seventeen years of age, though people have commented on me being older... I can seldom grasp why.
Gender: "I do believe I look masculine enough... however, if you need clarification, I am a male.
Appearance: "My hair? Is it of natural coloration? Why no, it's actually dyed! Hm? What's with that bemused look?"
Composed and patient, the young butler stands at an estimated height of 1.88 m; Klaus is often seen exhibiting a well mannered simple grin as he stands almost at the ready. Much like the other butlers, he is physically fit, but doesn't display a similar amount of muscle to the other butlers. His build seems average, but with his height, demeanor, and appearance, most would mistake him for a much older student or servant at the university. He sports pale white skin that barely holds any distinction from snow, save for a light peach color. Klaus' eyes are a dull shade of purple and has dyed purple hair. His natural hair color, however, is of a brown distinction.
His wear is usually formal and are usually tuxedos; he lacks any sort of informal attire. He does prefer the much more "regal" colors like purple and blue, but his visage will have some form of white or black on him. His current garment involves a purple suit and pants, crisply pressed. Instead of the usual bow tie, he sports a blue tie that poofs outwards. Underneath the coat his waistcoat which is a light shade of lavender. The shirt beneath that is white, lacking any sort of hue. Surprisingly, the only thing that isn't a shade of purple are his glowing black shoes and sabled socks.
Year: "This is my first year attending the university. My Master wished for me to be fully prepared for what challenges lie ahead, so I chose to be held back two more years."
Rank: "I was tried and set at the Journeyman rank... to be frank, it is something I fail to comprehend with my paltry set of magic."
Room No.: "My room number is 82-B; the individuals there are pleasant, but they could work on being more systematic."
Personality: "People say I have the quirk of going 'hm' a lot... hm... I don't note of it, you?"
Generally speaking, Klaus falls under the appearance of a stock "calm and collected" persona. As he grew up under the careful watch of his Master, he grew into a somewhat polite young man who seems to be almost rough around the edges when he talks (i.e. says something to upset another). Very seldom is he seen without a smile on his face, ready to serve another person. His speech does come off as formal for the most part, unchanging unless faced with what he finds to be a hollow situation... but thankfully he is somewhat lax for the most part.
Klaus is probably one of the more dedicated mages out there, often working to further himself in the world and strives obsessively for perfection in certain areas. This can lead him to compulsively dusting a room until the tiniest molecules invading the area completely disperse to shining a shoe until it begins lighting up more brightly than a Christmas Tree.
For all his dedication, he does oft beat himself up, truly seeing himself as one of the lesser mages of the realm. While he does frankly want to become the next Archetype, he solemnly believes that he lacks the talent and won't be anything better than a butler. However, it is difficult to pick up on this, considering his mannerisms can come off as dry humor or just poking fun at himself. This can also lead to him assisting other mages in their growth, or at least attempting to. Can actually lose his usual demeanor to anger if complimented on his magical abilities.
His character tics range from his demure but usual upright stance. Along with that, he has verbal tics, sometimes adding a "hm" when he speaks. From time to time, as strange as it sounds, Klaus may carry his materials on his platter instead of his satchel. Usually due to him enjoying the confused reactions of others. Despite his affable and upstanding appearances, he does enjoy dying his hair different colors, most notably purple. He also has a tea obsession.
Magic Discipline: "I'm not really comfortable talking about my magic as it truly isn't as grandeur as the other magi at the University."
Belief Magic: Subcategory of Existence
Klaus' magic stems from the strength of his conviction, his own beliefs, to alter the world around him. As a journeyman the magic is limited to small pockets and himself. While his own beliefs can waver and change this can cause an efflux in the strength of his powers, albeit temporarily. While waiting to readjust, he can "tap" into other people's beliefs as resources, however, he can suffer from the same problem as before if anyone beings undergoing a metamorphosis of their beliefs or their faith begins to crumble. Along with that, their views must line up somewhat appropriately to get the full extent of his powers as he won't be able to expend himself to the peak of his abilities if he cannot.
- Belief: This magic applies change directly onto Klaus himself. This belief acts as a sort of exchange of sorts where he can garner an asset to help him in combat. However, in exchange to keep equilibrium, he must curse himself with a weakness to offset it. However, there are ways of getting around the equal exchange part of his magic (i.e. tapping into another's beliefs at full strength/Faith). An extreme example of this was if he wanted to make himself a wall that could never be damaged, he would have to sacrifice all of his mobility. Another example that he gains the power of flight but sinks like a rock when in water. When coming to "magical" elements, lets say he wishes to use ice magic. In return, he takes more damage from those affiliated with fire magic.
What happens if he tries to make an unequal deal or get a better ability while remedying the weakness? Well, lets just say he has a tendency to cough up blood and grow even more paler than he usually looks. Should end well with him trying to force himself to improve.
- Faith: When used, he can tap into the other ideologies of other people and use that to empower himself whether or not his own view has crumbled. This can give him a little more strength needed to get a weaker flaw or a more impregnable power. Of course, as stated above, if anyone's belief doesn't exactly line up with his, the cons will outweigh the pros. Even more so if he isn't careful, as it can cause some alteration to his own beliefs which in return causes debilitation.
- Tenet: Using his magic, Klaus can create an immobile bubble that reaches up to twenty meters in circumference. In this bubble, he can alter the rules of this small world to his advantage, changing any of the functions. However this can prove to be a double-edged sword as whatever affects the person will in turn affect him. As an example, lets say he triples the gravity of the world. Unless he leaves, it will continue to affect him, as well as his opponent. The bubble only stays for fifteen minutes and he cannot change its location or make a new one until this one has dissipated. It always forms at the center of Klaus.
- Truth and Lies: As a minor extent of his abilities, Klaus has the ability to discern the difference between truths and lies. While this ability is passive, there are ways to avoid getting called out on a lie, such as telling a part of the truth. However, twisting the truth to your advantage isn't a very good idea. Usually telling a lie and truth in one will always seem to muddle his brain and give him a little head ache.
Equipment: "One piece I keep on me is this platter of mine... hm? Why? In any chance I might need to use it... you wish to hold it? Very well, but be careful. It's a lot heavier than your usual platter, being about... hm... an estimate of thirty kilograms."
"Hm? My satchel? Oh, it's used to carry miscellaneous items and anything school related. It's nothing special, truly."
Biography: "I was born to two hardworking mages who wanted to see their son succeed. What more can I say?"
Klaus' parents were nothing outstanding to be quite frank - one was at the Master rank while the latter gave up on succeeding at the test and stayed at the rank of Journeyman. Neither of them expected to have a child so early on in their life and struggled to make ends meet while keeping Klaus happy. It wasn't until he was five when they received an offer, stating that he was one of many who had great magic potential. While there were more blandishments, they saw the signature of a Grandmaster. They were sold on the prospect of wanting their son to rise above their occupation and allowed the man to take in Klaus.
The first years was filled with menial chores and benign tasks which seemed to annoy and tax the less patient of children who question when they were going to begin training in magic. A year later, five of those ten were left. Through determination, the Grandmaster began putting them all through rigorous training as well as difficult education and physical pursuits. If they were to hone their mind, they would all need to have healthy bodies to go along.
After myriads of years of service to the hardworking, yet slightly immature man, they all received an invitation to go to B.U.M. by none other than their own master. He, of course, warned against this, requesting them to think on this decision. At the end of the week, only Klaus remained.
The next two years were much harder since the Grandmaster could focus solely on one pupil and drill him down. That and he lived in a manor, which meant Klaus had to clean all the whole place thoroughly as well as quickly. It stressed the young man out, but over time he became accustomed to it, as well as his magic. Those two extra years seemed to pay off, but in Klaus' mind, he felt it wasn't enough. He felt he hadn't reached his peak state, denoting himself mentally as mediocre.
And much to his befuddlement, he is now beginning his first year at B.U.M. as a Journeyman... he still questions his Grandmasters judgement on this subject, as well as the schools. Was he truly prepared?
Master:
"My Masters name is Gerald Retsiem, one of the realms fifty Grandmasters. Despite his elderly appearance, there are times when he acts mature and other times where he pranks us, much like some of us would at a younger age. He's probably one of the richest mages from what I've learned and to go along with that, he usually takes in myriads of apprentices as a challenge from what I heard, usually ten. However, due to the way he trained us, after the first year, half of the children left to find another Master."
"Regardless, after cleaning his house, doing chores, and the usual schoolwork, he became a lot more serious and stern, though he never lost his amusing behavior..."
"How old were we when we were apprenticed? We were all around five to seven at the time, with me being the baby of the bunch. Our control over magic improved exponentially and after ten years of grueling service, he offered us a choice. Stay and train for two extra years or begin attending B.U.M. Most of us were eager to depart, myself included... but he request we stay for one more week."
"After that one week, only I remained because I realized that I probably wasn't ready yet... while it was only I having to clean up the house, it was tough but honest work. I still had time to spare for family and acquaintances, but for the most part it was all work... hm? Did it get boring? Sort of, I won't waltz around with honeyed words, but I wish to believe the effort was well spent in the end..."
"Hm? What rank are the other Apprentice's that I served aside in? Apologies, but I don't know that answer."
If [Klaus] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: "That's... quite a hefty question, considering that I don't truly have anything I consider important aside from my family, magic and master... hmm maybe the bonds that I will eventually build up with other people? Fond memories and sorts that cement friendships. If that wouldn't work... my master? This is a very loaded question... and to be frank, it doesn't sit well with me"
If [Klaus] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: "Hm... it's either fulfilling my dream of becoming an Archetype or returning what I was forced to sacrifice. Hmm? Why is the former apart of this? Because I'm unsure of what else to do... I mean, I could always become a butler to my master, but eventually even he will pass on. I need a solid foundation for myself."
"...? Why would I want what I sacrificed back? If it truly was important, wouldn't you wish for it back?... hm... this simplistic question truly boggles my mind and leads me to discover myriads of questions in its wake... I will have to expand on these two items in the future..."
