Oh right Vestec helping his poor son Lif, poor baby. Be a shame if some homicidal beast were to go on a Chaos killing crusade again.

I mean, Lif would probably sit Keriss down for a chat if she came marching through the giant fortress at the entrance to Alefpria.

@Double Capybara
I'll just think of another Portfolio, it was the part that gave me the most trouble actually. I don't really see Julk's interpretation of darkness to be the same of Helvana, while his seems ethereal, Helvana's is more physical in nature. I'll try to revise it wither way.

@Rtron
I don't really mind it. I don't know if there would be any consequences though.

@poog the pig
He's the kind of character that would spell the doom of the world and he's helping at saving it? I'm impressed.

Don't have mercy on me when it comes to criticism btw. It's better that way and I'm already used to it.

I'm not sure if it's been edited since the suggestions were made, but it looks like Helvana has a slightly more compassionate personality than Vestec. Still, the overlap is there. A motivation greater than nihilistic fun'n'games might be a good cure for that, as a suggestion. I mean, it's going to be a demi, so not quite as informed as the other gods unless a god gives them a bit much information from the get-go. Maybe having a brainstorm about possible directions to take could help? Possible opening arcs?

You know something? Helvana seems like someone Belruarc would make exist. Maybe Kho should take Belru on an inter-planar jaunt to try and save Julky and have shenanigans happen. Properly put an end to his character and all that >_>

@Double Capybara If I remember right, there was some background talk about Altair's creation being based on splitting the soul. I'm not sure if demis can make avatars, so either this is an exception where it's an independent entity or there's some other contrivance at work. If it's neither, well...ANYTHING can happen when you're being chaperoned by an invisible dancing clay robot. I'm sure something could be retrofitted.

@WrongEndoftheRainbow Dude, those banners are delicious.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm still thinking of what to do with her, but I won't remove her way of having fun. I guess I could tone it down though. I already have something planned for her to gather information from far and wide, but I'll wait a while before implementing it.

What happened to Belruarc btw? The characters tab says she's now mortal.

Alright, I did some minor adjustments to Helvana.

@Slime Oh, Belru? She uh...well, after giving birth to a three-eyed lolcat with Vowzra (during which both of them had a quick stint as mortals for reasons), her player left and her character was taken over by Kho. She never regained her immortality, but still futzes around with magic.

I believe she's in Vetros right now, doing wise-woman things with the Vetros populous.

Btw, the little addendum on your CS helps a-plenty. Diverging from the pure yoloswag of Vestec into something more impure is good.

Dear lord. How do you people manage to write such long posts? It's so much content that it feels like five pages have been folded into one.

Ahh my friend, those were the golden days of this rp, back when everyone's posts were long, and we didn't have this thing called school to bother us.

It kind of just happens in a game so centred on worldbuilding. Conversations typically happen in collabs, while non-collab posts form their own little stories relatively isolated from other characters, at least compared to games in which they're interacting directly. So a lot of stuff gets done in a single post.

@Slime Having read that CS, can't help but agree with Mutton, she does have quite a bit in common with Belru (or at least, Belru at the beginning, not sure how much she has changed since)

@BBeast Eh, try like 3/4ths. Logos is leaving with only a few dozen Realta left. We still gotta write our co-post together btw....

Well, then 10,000 Cosmic Knights might have been a bit overkill to deal with the remaining quarter of the Realta.

Of course, who am I to talk about overkill when I built divine railguns and power armour to take out mortal foes? XD

Eh, you had a god directly intervene. I would be more surprised if Teknall didn't use that amount of force...

@BBeast Serious conversation time,

Singularity - First Weapon. Black Hole Sword. The Heart of Eternity. Densest Object. Spike that carves the Road. 10 Might.

I um... actually havent had the chance to swing this thing at anyone. I only know it can do in theory; itll be more versatile when I actually make Blade Casting and my characters are able to 'fight' the way theyre suppose to. For now, I just assume that anything the blade comes in contact with just sucked into it, and that like all blackholes, slows time down for mortals when their around it default.

Of course, thats when its sealed. When he unlocks it... I'll leave it to your imagination.

Okay, but physics fapping aside; any constructive thoughts on how this thing might function against Teknall? I mean, we know and can envision what the Rail Gun's level of destructions would be and actions taht could be done. Teknall is a flying Gundam right now. But what about mah beam sword?

@Dawnscroll

I feel like for the sake of cohesiveness, I'd say Logos' singularity blade would function well as a modem for effortless, clean cuts, along with blocking projectiles through absorption. Not to mention, judging by how black holes are said to function along with the basics of space travel, any object thrown in a distant orbit of a black hole can be fired back at a higher velocity than what it approached on. On a more vague note, Logos could also create a hammerspace within his singularity blade.

Speaking of which, we still need to talk about Lifprasil's confrontation of Logos at New Chronos.

@Dawnscroll, in my mind, if Singularity were to come into contact with Teknall's flesh, it would deal damage in a similar manner to anything else, with cutting and sucking and stuff. The blade, being a powerful divine weapon wielded by a god, would not be significantly hindered by divine resistance to weapons. Of course, being a god, he's a lot harder to pull, so he won't collapse down the event horizon, but the wound would be messy and gory with a lot of damage to surrounding tissues and bones.

What is perhaps a bit more unclear is how it would interact with the Mirror Armour. Singularity pulls (and cuts, but that only works if you can get contact), while Mirror Armour pushes. These are two competing forces. The Mirror Armour would attempt to repel Singularity before it can get through the force field. On the other hand, Singularity is sufficiently mighty that it may be able to overcome that barrier.

My opinion is that, with Singularity being a 10 Might weapon in the hands of a Level 7 god, compared to Mirror Armour being 2 Might armour wielded by a Level 4 god, a clean strong blow from Singularity would be able to penetrate the armour at normal charge. Glancing blows would be deflected. If Teknall spends a Might to temporarily super-charge the Mirror Armour, it would become able to deflect Singularity, although for how long or how many blows is uncertain (and, of course, if Logos spends a Might to swing Singularity, then the two effects would cancel out).
