@Rin I don't think she'll take to kindly to that. XD might have to give the shota a good noogie if he does that. I can see Pride sulking in the corner if defeated after the cook off. XD
@Holy Soldier So here's my "extra" I guess, although the weight field is currently blank because I wasn't sure how to figure that out. ^^; Since both mine and Vita's characters are twins we basically just collaborated on the background and that's why it's the same for both characters really but yeah. Hope this works out, though.
Name: Pocus Thaum
Age: 14
Height: 5'1"
Weight:
Hair Color: Blond
Eye Color: Green
Gender: Male
Written Appearance: Slim, short and somewhat androgynous, if it wasn't for his shorter hair Pocus would be easily mistaken for his sister Hocus. Due to being both a focused mage and relatively young, he doesn't have much muscle mass on him. Pocus tends to wear traditional mage attire, most notably his wide-brimmed hat and long cloak draped over a shorts and tunic combo. To help him focus his magic, he wears two magical amulets, one pinned to his hat and the other acting as a clasp for his cloak.
Personality: Unfailingly polite even to his enemies and far too nice for his own good, it seems as though Pocus doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. Despite the fact that he's supposedly on a quest to become stronger, he's still rather meek and a bit of a doormat, tending to get dragged along with the flow rather than asserting his own will. Still, there's the tiniest inklings of a spine buried somewhere deep down within him, although it really only emerges when his sister or anyone else he cares about is in trouble. He seems fine with all of this, though, and is perfectly content to just try and please others; he is especially fond of cooking, and nothing makes him happier than seeing people enjoy a meal he's made.
Background:
In the highlands of Gaea lies a village of spellcasters known as Loch Wor, shrouded in mists and standing between the borders of an enchanted forest and a lake supposedly home to some dormant primordeal beast. Despite being relatively isolated, the village was fabled in legend for producing powerful mages, a reputation that has brought both good and ill fortune to its people. Many covet the power of magic, after all, and to them an entire settlement focused on this power is a most tempting prize.
In a village founded on mystic tradition, the birth of twins was seen as an omen of some sorts, although at the time no-one could agree just what it was foretelling. But as the twins Hocus and Pocus Thaum grew up without much incident, the portents were soon forgotten and as they reached adolescence their magical training began. Despite her lack of enthusiasm for anything, Hocus was found to have a natural aptitude for black magic, whilst putting aside his inability to assert himself Pocus seemed to take to white magic with relative ease. However, before they could advance much in the ways of sorcery, the portents finally came true as the Holy Knights came to Loch Wor, drawn by the tales of magical power hidden within. Wanting to keep this power for themselves, they quickly instilled martial law upon the village, and were it not for their parents' quick thinking the twins would have been imprisoned with the rest of the villagers. Fleeing from their home, all they could think about was the responsibility they had been burdened with, to learn the secrets of magic by themselves and grow powerful enough to liberate Loch Wor from the Holy Knights.
With nowhere else to turn to, the twins assumed they would need to travel far and wide to learn these secrets and thus ended up joining the crew of a ship who were searching for their lost captain. Initially the crew were a bit unenthusiastic about taking in two kids, but after Pocus cooked up the best meal they'd had for a long time and showed off his healing skills, he was taken in as both a cook and a medic. Meanwhile, since Pocus was unusually adamant about not leaving his sister behind, Hocus was allowed to join too under the provision that she actually at least tried to help cleaning up the place since she had a broom and all.
Weapon: Pocus is only a novice mage and thus does not have an Arc. The closest things he has to weapons are his spellbook and his familiar, a white owl named Inch. Inch seems to realize that her master is kind of a pushover, and has a tendency to try and stick up for him if she thinks someone is taking too much advantage of him, usually by pecking their head repeatedly.
Ability: White Magic, the magic of life and light. Pocus is still a novice White Mage with a lot to learn, and as such has only mastered three basic spells:
Cura: A basic healing spell, Pocus envelops wounds in a soothing light that speeds up the healing process. The time it takes to heal a wound depends on the severity, as cuts and bruises will be healed almost instantaneously whilst more serious injuries will take somewhat longer. It cannot do anything like regrow severed limbs (although if freshly severed, it can reattach them if held up to the stump), and cannot do anything to heal fatal wounds.
Lux: Pocus creates a small floating orb of light, around the size of a tennis ball, which he can move with his mind. The orb radiates a pleasant warmth, and causes undead to recoil in fear. Staring directly at the orb is ill-advised.
Columba: Probably the most basic of all white magic summoning spells, this allows Pocus to temporarily call forth between one to three doves which follow his command. The doves disappear after five minutes. Traditionally, this is cast by the mage removing their hat and letting the doves fly out.
Written Appearance: Short, lightly-built, and often wearing an expression of sleepy disinterest or annoyance, Hocus is fairly recognizable, especially due to her long, wild blonde hair. She bears a great resemblance to her twin brother, but is more clearly female then her brother is male.
Personality: Hocus is lazy and enjoys sleeping. She claims she requires as much sleep as possible in order to 'do something important', but rarely is anything considered important to her. Food, sleep, her twin brother's wellbeing, everything else is seemingly disregarded. Except for cats. And lasers. Hocus has a fondness for lasers that borders on almost an obsession, though she typically wears the same expression of sleepy disinterest for most occasions. While she will complain, it's fairly easy to drag her along with things, though if left to her own devices she will likely attempt to cheat her way out of actually doing anything that remotely needs exertion from her. She will stand up for those she cares about, but otherwise will likely act as if she finds them irritating and sleep-interrupting. Hocus is so fond of sleep that she is liable to take time to sleep in the middle of a conversation if she hasn't been directly addressed for a while and the spot she's in is comfortable enough.

Weapon: As a novice mage, Hocus lacks anything of particular note, though she can turn out relatively potent laser spells due to her fondness for that area of magic. She carries a broom, which she can animate to use for flight, or to sweep on its own while she sleeps.
Ability: Black Magic, the magic of destruction and darkness. She still has a lot to learn, and as such has only learned mastered three spells:
Spark Shooter: A trio of magic circles opens, one above Hocus's head, and two above her shoulders. Each fires a thin, damaging beam of mana. While not exceptionally powerful, it can burn through weak monsters and cause serious harm to human targets if they are unprotected.
Spark Wave: A large magic circle opens at the tip of Hocus's broom, and from it erupts a thick beam of mana. Likely to cause serious damage to unprotected targets, and even some lightly-protected ones. Maintaining the beam for much time can be taxing on the caster, and potentially cause Hocus to collapse.
Animate: The single non-attack spell Hocus intends to learn, this animates her broom. It allows her to fly using it, or make it sweep without having to put any of her own effort into it.
@Holy Soldier ey, I has a question: for these holy knights it says "bad turned good" are we suppose to be siding with the sins and the girls or are we free to make that choice?
@ZetsukoLet me make it simple. If your HK chooses to remain bad, then he/she will die eventually either by the bad guys or by the sins, but more than likely by the other HKs. Does that answer your question?
@VitaVitaARWhat makes Hocus a Black Mage? Like...they normally use destructive magic, but it's mostly elemental, and then they dip into the status affect magic like sleep, slow, etc. What theme are you using for your black mage? Because she's sounding like a typical witch rather than a Black Mage. Also, read over Hocus's CS because there are many errors in it. Were you trying to do some Dark Souls thing?
@RinPocus, I have no issues with and is good to go.
