Me and Vita worked pretty heavily together on the twins so I can probably answer a few of your questions regarding her character I guess? ^^; I mean she's a black mage in the fact that she uses primarily offensive spells. I'll admit that she was most likely basing all the non-elemental laser spells on the fact that she really likes Touhou, but I figured that would probably be fine because of stuff like D&D (which has non-elemental spells like Magic Missile and Eldritch Blast* as low level spells way before you get stuff like Fireball and Lightning Bolt), and because admittedly one of my favourite fantasy anime is Slayers and in that universe black magic and elemental magic are two seperate things. I assume some of the first new things she'd learn over the course of the RP would be elemental spells anyways, but yeah. As for the witch-y trappings... I assume that's just how the girls of Loch Wor traditionally dress, really. The animate broom spell was actually a suggestion of mine for two reasons: to give her a "utility" spell, and to help emphasise her laziness.

I'm not entirely sure what the "Dark Souls" stuff you saw in there was, but then I've never played any of those games so... Yeah. ^^; I know that wasn't exactly what she was aiming for, though, since whilst she's a fan of the series she kind of made it clear that she thought this isn't the kind of game for that sort of stuff. ...That and I'm pretty sure a pair of mage twins named Hocus and Pocus who come from the punnily named Loch Wor (both of these are my fault, since I kind of like punny names for fantasy stuff ^^;) wouldn't exactly fit into a Dark Souls kind of setting from what I know about it anyways. XD

@RinThe thing is, when you both asked me for a mage pair, I said it was fine as long as you place them in specific categories. So my thing is, if she's going to be classifying her character as a Black Mage, then she needs to have more of a Black Mage feel and get away from the "general" magic. Because with her spells, she could just call herself witch, sorcerer, warlock...there is no specific class, but I wanted a specific class because a general mage can easily become overpowered. A general mage can also depreciate the worth of other characters. So she needs to define her Black Mage. I wouldn't even use D&D as an example because Black Mages are evil in D&D, broad, and their magic harms not only the enemy but everyone else. So like maybe Final Fantasy Black Mage is your best option.

Edit: I will say though, the D&D Black Mage spells are good ideas because they are a mixture of offensive magic spells and status affect. I didn't see anything wrong with the "Animate" spell though it did make me wonder if she was going to dip into Necromancy. But the Mana Spells, I don't want to see any pure mana spells. For example, I summon magic and I lob magic at people. I mentioned Dark Souls because there are pure mana spells in that game.

@Holy SoldierUm... I'm still not entirely understanding what you mean here. She uses offensive spells, and "pure mana" is just Vita's way of saying "non-elemental". Like I said, it's basically just like Magic Missile, and if we're going with a D&D comparison she's basically an evoker... Which is basically the inspiration for the Final Fantasy black mage. ^^;

From what I've always understood, a black mage is a mage who specializes in offensive spells and dealing out damage, whilst a white mage is more defensive and support based. I honestly don't understand what your problem is, and I'd like you to clarify it. ^^;

Damn, I wish I had come across this sooner. I'm really interested in this, but I wanted a spot as a Sin and am not interested in playing as a Holy Knight. Do you think you can put me in some sort of reserve slot in case any of the Sins drop out?

@ZetsukoLet me make it simple. If your HK chooses to remain bad, then he/she will die eventually either by the bad guys or by the sins, but more than likely by the other HKs. Does that answer your question?

Well...no, it doesn't. I asked if I could make the choice not the consequences of it. I am going to interpret that as "you're suppose to be sided with the sins" though

@floodtalonI cannot guarantee reservations get a slot in this game. These players went through a rigorous selection process. Unless you are 100% certain that you can write up a CS for whichever sin and get it approved, then by all means.

@Zetsuko What I think he means is that, you eventually understand the ways of the White God is wrong and that you realize that not everything that it says is true, especially about the Sins. When you finally come to this conclusion, you try to persuade another HK to abandon this quest about annihilating the Sins and what that God deems as evil in anyway to make sure that it's rule remains strong. That is when you (the HK) finally open yer eyes to see that the world is in total chaos because of the White God, and Gaea is not balanced because of what that God has done. Did that help clarify things a little??

@ZetsukoIf you don't know what you're applying for guy, then maybe it's best not to even join because that tells me that you're trying to join this game for the sake of joining and that you have no idea what kind of character you're going to make, which is a big "no go" with me. Because the only way you're going to have a chance of getting accepted is if you can prove to me that you know what you're doing with your character and are not just submitting to me an empty idea. If you are struggling to come up with an idea then that is also not a good sign that you should join this game. Inspiration is the key, and if you had it, you should be able to just drop a complete CS here.
