It's year 2226 and humanity has reached for the stars 176 years ago. Planets were conquered a new solar system was found and inhabited. 100 years after humanity left, Earth's colonies decided to separate themselves from the tyranny of Earth's new leadership and so a war broke between them. The CODC ( Coalition of Democratic Colonies ), an alliance of human colonies fighting for independence from the tyranny of HOH ( Humanities Only Hope ) was loosing the war in the first few months but after several admirals defected to their side and a few war heroes too the tide of the war quickly changed and the CODC finally drove HOH to a stand still. Each fighting to keep their own territory without taking the other side's territory.

After 30 more years the HOH discovered the Titan. A massive ship of a long lost race in a humanoid form. No one knew who made them or how to operate them but on board they've found a new kind of alloy that changed the course of the war. The alloy was biological in nature and was stronger than any kind of metal found by humanity. These alloys were quickly assimilated on almost all HOH ships and the CODC's ships couldn't withstand them. No known weapon besides a nuclear bomb could penetrate a ship coated in alloy and so the HOH conquered more and more CODC owned planets until they finally drove back the CODC to the last Star Gate that lead to the CODC's home system.

But even with the technological superiority the HOH couldn't take the Star Gate. It was too well defended by 6 massive space stations that could deploy a number of 20 nuclear missiles each at a interval of 60 minutes. Enough to destroy whatever the HOH would send against the CODC but that will not last as the HOH elucidates more and more of the mysterious Titan.

What will CODC do ? Will it find a new Titan capable of turning the tide of the war or will they fall under the boot of HOH armada ?

Our characters will be of the CODC faction serving on SS-Warlord. The only battle cruiser that was still owned by the CODC. The mission of battle cruiser ? To find another Titan. The battle cruiser is equipped with a state-of-the-art cloaking system that can hide from most HOH scanners and so SS-Warlord will navigate enemy territory. It is also painted as a HOH battle cruiser so that it can easily infiltrate enemy territory.

If people want to. I can add character classes to make things more interesting. Waiting for an opinion.

• 1. No godmodding. Everyone can die.
• 2. Normal guild rules apply.
• 3. If you want to romance and do stuff. It's PG-13 , everything is ok 'till cloths go off then fade to black. Swearing is allowed in IC but keep it civil in OCC.

Faction ( are you one of the families that was born in CODC or did you desert from the HOH ) -
Laila deserted from the HOH.

Motivation ( why did you took up arms for CODC ? What is your reason for joining a military life. Every person has to make two tours (2 years each) then he can go back to civilian life but to serve on the SS-Warlord you have to be in the military for more than 4 years so what made your character continue serving in the military ? ) - Laila is determined to fight against the HOH's tyranny, having grown up among it herself. She also loves the thrill of traveling to new places, and the sights of the galaxy.

Personality - To all who know her, Laila is simply 'Starling', nothing more, nothing less. She actually prefers it that way, no one knowing her name. It brings too many bad memories for Laila to bear. She loves all things natural- flowers, birds, and all animals gather around her adoring gaze. However hippie-like she may be, Starling is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about navigation and space itself. You could adequately describe her as a space nerd, although she yearns for home at every turn. To some, Laila seems weak and naive, but that's not true. She may seem like that on the outside, but deep, deep down in her heart, she is bloodthirsty and heartless. If you get her angered enough, that outer shell could disappear into the wind forever, and she could become the heartless monster she had never wanted to be. She also harbors pure hatred for the HOH, something that is very justified.

History ( who were you before you joined the military ) -
Laila's parents were lowly terraformers for the HOH, never cared for or given the advanced technology they yearned for. But that was just the way she liked it. When she was a young girl, she would dance among the trees, animals, and grasses, feeling safe in her own right. Her parents taught her all about the stars and navigation, and she was happy and content. But one day, something terrible happened. An HOH soldier came to their adobe to investigate their terraforming. Laila was only five years old when the soldier cut her across the face with his knife for disobedience, creating a scar that would last forever. It was on that day that she started to hate the HOH for their treatment of her family. They taxed her family insane amounts without care and gave Laila a scar that would last for years. Why shouldn't she hate them? Yet, she continued to play in the gardens of her childhood without a care, until the age of 15, when she was conscripted into the army. She was taken from her family in the middle of the night, never to see them again. She served in the HOH's army for two years. During that time, she lost her eye because a soldier shot her in the there, and the upper class refused to give her any antibiotics. She had to remove it in fear of losing her life to an infection. The upper class treated the soldiers like disposable trash, and Laila hated that. So she decided to desert. However, the army captured her, and sentenced the 17 year-old and her family to death. Her parents and younger brother were executed, and just before she was too, she managed to escape with her life, never to see her home planet or family again.

Sorry for my inactivity guys and gals. Got hit by a drunk driver a few days ago and was in the hospital. I'm mostly ok. Just a few bruises and my back hurts but I'll be ok. No...lasting damage. The doctor said I got lucky.
