Mita struggled to keep the vampire away as Jean rushed over. She huffed aslance she complained,"Shut up.' Once the vampire was gone she stood up again regaining her balance. "Yeah great. " She said. slightly sarcastic. "I'm fine alone." She stated as she began to fight again. She swung her sword around hitting a few more,where she realized they were cornered. "New plan get to the outside of the pack." She shouted as she ducke under a blade. Her blade hit those of one of the vampires legs. She made it in a dash avoiding the others to the best of her ability. At the end she tried to jump out, and the blade cut right under her eye. She scowled, and messed up her landing slightly,but quickly stood up. She ignored the wound on her cheek and eyed the croud tp see where Jean went.

Eleanor stood at the side of the fight as everyone ran off. She was left on her own to fend for herself... She backed herself up against a tree and shut her eyes... She waited quietly listening as everyone else was fighting. A sudden rustle of leaves behind her turns to a screaming some unknown thing. She opens her eyes to find that a vampire was now on the ground, what as strong is why she wasn't attacked by a group of them.

Eleanor smirks as she pulls Asuramaru from the vampire's corpse and she runs into the fight with the group and... another stranger. She sighs as she shakes her head jumping in and slicing a vampire in half. She seemed to be moving in a pattern... Her steps going left, right, back, forward with her slicing whenever it made sense. She seemed to be moving according to a number.

Jean dashed under a vampire's blade and continued running towards the outside of the crowd where Mida went, and executed a neat flip over a vampire, still grinning as he cut its head off. "Sure. You're definetly fine on your own." he then checked her wound, not before dragging her into a hiding place. "That's nasty. You should probably sit out for a bit." He said to her, frantic. "Just stay hidden." He ran back into the thick of it, ignoring the puny knife that could barely land a decent hit on a vampire. "Call back your pathetic knife!"
Jean shouted to the newcomer, laughing. "You certainly need it more than me!" He continued to fight the vampire, noticing how their numbers had dropped considerably. "Keep fighting! Soon we'll outnumber them!" He shouted to the others.

Cheren decides to let the group do as they please and backs off to where the sniper was at the tree, pulling his knives back into his trench coat so he circle shrunk down to 12 meters once more. He begins to bandage up his arms as his knives flew around the area of the tree, preventing any more vampires to come too close...though then again most of the vampires were trying to deal with the group he was supposed to be evacuating.

"...excuse...me. But...does this group...always do...this? There...are a lot more coming...rather not...hang around to find out."

He quickly asks the sharpshooter as he uses another knife to take out the few stragglers that actually braved to come toward the tree. The insult toward his knife...kinda hurt him. So he made sure that the majority of his support was to making a protective circle around the single tree since the group seemed to have everything under control. That way, less blood loss for him and less chance of the wolves corrupting him.

"Rather not...waste resources for...fighting when...too many. And more...are still coming. This is...a strategic location...so many resources used already..."

Rai rolled to avoid a strike from a vampire who caught him unaware, only to retort with two deadly slashes when the vamp left his flank exposed. With every kill, Rai was getting faster and faster, dispatching vampires who the newcomer had weakened with relative ease. He cast his gaze to Valerian, "If we need to retreat call it out Val, you've got the best positio-" Rai was interrupted by a pair of vampires who landed a few cheap shots, one on his back the other on his leg. This caused Rai to lose his balance and fall to the ground, only to hear the two vampires begin taunting him.

"Filthy. Fucking. PARASITES!" Rai roared as he shot back up from the ground, his eyes burning like fires and full of rage. With incredible speed he launched himself at the two who had taunted him, making a bloody mess out of one vampire and impaling the other. "WHICH ONE OF YOU WANTS TO DIE NEXT?!" He shouted, ready to pounce on another target.

Mita followed Jean as he ran towards the bush. She ducked down underneath it also as she shook her head. "Yea I am fine on my own." She stated stubbornly. "I had it undercontrol. " Mita flinched as he checked out the wound pulling away. She shook her head as she wiped off some of the blood getting it on her sleeve. "I'm not leaving a fight in the middle until I'm dead. " She huffed, as she took a breath. She gripped her sword pausing for a moment. She took an energy replenidsher pill and waited five minutes for it to kick in.

Cheren slowly started finishing up his makeshift bandages around his arms as he started getting ready to fight.

Getting...bad. They're...here.

He checks the area behind him realizing that the other entrances were slowly pouring in...except the one sewer drain that was a good distance away. Cheren still can hear the commander's orders: Get them back...alive.
Immediately, he started going into the pile of the swarm using all of his knives to make a moment for them to notice the sewage drain. The storm of knives whistling through the air seemed to imitate howls of wolves as they plunged themselves for a feast into every vampire he took down. His breathing getting coarse, he yelled:

"Can...we go now!? Last chance! No dying today! Die stupid death later! Sewers!"

The blood already seeping through his bandages, his defensive circle of knives immediately shrinking after pulling off that attempt.

He processed what the new person said. He was right, sure, but how would it be possible to stop everyone - by everyone, he meant Jean - fighting to do the wise thing and leave?

"There's a single problem with leaving. We won't leave a man behind. And the buffoon over there won't stop fighting; he's a bit of an idiot."

You could always knock him out, Val.

That could be a little bit dangerous.

I've got a much better idea, though. Lyn spoke aloud this time rather than just thinking it. "Oh my, guys! I've detected Aya over beyond the hills! Let's falls back and escape here so we can find her!"

"Lyn, y-"

Thank me later.

As soon as the words hit Jean's ears, he did a backward flip towards the sound. Granted, he had a clumsy landing, but regardless, it was impressive. He sliced off another vampire's head, and spun around to cut another's torso in two. He eventually found tej vpice to have come from Valerie, but it was unlike his own. "Who was that, your demon?" He shouted to Valerie, parrying a vampire's blade. He jumped surprising high, into the tree where Valerie was. "Geng helps with acrobatics. Surprisingly useful."

Down...down I go.

Cheren really was losing his defenses and patience for the man who really wanted to keep fighting...however as soon as the man left the front lines, it left Cheren by his lonesome to some degree. He started limping to the manhole, hoping that the others would follows as a majority of his knives were being dragged behind him and only a few were able to parry the blows that came at him. Wounding each vampire as best he could with blood pouring out of his arms, he kept trying to limp to survival.

"Run...don't die yet...Lupa...waiting...for me."

Eleanor notices the knives dragging along the ground and sighs as vampires were beginning to swarm towards the source, Cheren. Cheren seemed to be injured and was having difficulty fending the vampires off. She takes chase and jumps in slicing one or two vampires enough to cause a distraction. She slid her arm under Cheren's arm and begins to help him limp towards shelter. She hands Cheren all the knives which were being dragged "Might want to keep these off the ground, simply it draws too much attention" She was ready to defend them both if anyone came their way.

"Yeah, I guess you could call her a demon. More like vampire killing and reconnaissance tool. She lies just as much as your average demon weapon, though."

I'm much more than that, Val. But you can keep your secrets for now.

"I can leave using cloaking, so if you guys want to head in that general direction whilst I cover you, we can probably get out. Jean, Mita, and..."

His name's Cheren. Unless he had a name change within the last twenty four hours.

"Cheren should leave first. Myself, Eleanor and Rai will cover you guys and follow you. Cheren probably is in need of some first aid, if anyone could give that to him once you're in the clear. Everyone clear?"

Valerian did not expect the team to follow his orders; he had hardly been with the team as they functioned with Guren, as he'd been alone with Lyn doing recon work. He, rather, hoped that they would see why they were retreating. He also had wanted to have a chat with both Eleanor and Rai; he had been kind of asocial to the both of them, and needed to talk about something, or rather someone: Aya. He knew Eleanor had met her to some extent based on what Jean had said and Eleanor's interactions with him, but he doubted Rai knew anything.

"Wrong...way. Sewer drain...that way."

Cheren weakly pointed and coughed out a bit of blood as he drags the knives back into his trench coat. His small body was barely keeping up with his movements as he slowly took out a knife to string around his neck. That way, he had some sort of weapon despite it being not as quick nor mobile as the ones he had around his arms and fingers. Nevertheless, it was protection and could do in a one on one.

"...been saying that...archer...person...thank you. Will...head over..."

At the sound of Valerian's voice, Rai shook another vampire off his gauntlets and listened to his plan. On the inside Rai was a little relieved to hear that Valerian had an escape plan ready. Sure, fighting an overwhelming battle is exciting, but he did not want to get himself or the others foolishly killed. Rai turned to Valerian and smirked "Alright Val, I'm on it!" he replied as he dropped into a sprinters stance once more, focusing on a vampire about 35m away from Cheren's right flank. Rai shot like a bullet towards the vamp, even faster than the first time he used this maneuver. Rai quickly delivered two fatal slashes to the surprised bloodsucker's chest, before taking a defensive position slightly ahead of and to the right of Cheren. He looked over his shoulder to the injured boy " Don't worry about this side, I've got you covered." he whispered .Rai looked back out towards the incoming horde of vampires and bellowed "LISTEN UP PARASITES! STEP UP, AND I'LL FLAY YOU!"

Eleanor notices Rai move in front of Cheren and sighs as she continues to help Cheren walk and held Asuramaru tightly. She looked ahead at the horde and tries to direction Cheren away from the horde. Eleanor wasnt going to let someone who she didnt know at all be killed. She tears up a bit as she leads Cheren towards the sewers. "Sorry, but it would be better if we avoid any fight we can as we travel" She smiles as she pushes forward as she seemed to be struggling to hold both of her own and Cheren's weight

Cheren continues to limp and tries to prevent most of his weight to be on Eleanor's shoulders. Sure he was small and didn't weight that much, but the amount of knives he had definitely didn't help. Nor did the fact that he can barely walk since he had grave injuries. Nevertheless, the two managed to make it without too many difficulties thanks to everyone's protection and their occasional blocking of an enemy attack.

"Let's...get out please."

The five minutes were over, and Mita was ready to go out into battle. She wiped the blood off of her cheek.It stung, but she didn't care. She raises her sword and charged out onto the battle field, making her way besides Jean. She stabbed one of the vampires as she heard Valerians voice. "Leave? Are you crazy?" She shouted as she swirled her blade around deheading a two standing beside each other. She then thought about it for a moment as shr continued fighting. There were to many. there was no chance that they could win. They would just die, but if they ran they would be nothing but cowards. "Its to late, and do you really want to go back to Guren with such a fail on your chest? "She asked as she ducked under a sword, cutting one of the vamps legs.

"...orders to retreat...you guys too. No shame in it...rather die, somewhere else."

Cheren was looking at the crazy woman with a very strange look...and shakes his head. He really didn't want to leave people behind but if they were so into fighting, he had no reason to stay behind and die. His abilities were not suited for this long of a fight...so he was more than willing to be the first at the sewage drain with the other one.

Eleanor put Cheren into the sewerage pipe and sighs "Ill do what I can to get them here quickly, but I want you to go hide somewhere to prevent your injuries from becoming worse" She gets out of the sewer drain and makes a quick break for it. She seemed determined to not let people be left behind. Her first stop was to Valerian and to lower the vampire's numbers.

"Vale, Can you cover me while I get everyone else to fall back?" Eleanor smirks as if she had a plan.

Jean followed the others to the entrance of the sewer, occasionally killing a vampire who got too close. He waited for the others to get in, keeping the vampires at bay. "Hurry up, soon the whole group will find us!" He stabbed at a vampire's neck and whirled around to cut another's arm off. He kicked said vampire onto the ground and swiftly plunged his sword downwards, impaling the vampire somewhere around where his left eye was.
