My browser isn't in a state where I can open links to videos (nor videos themselves sometimes) without resulting in me losing work, so I won't be clicking on that. On the other hand, I do hope you're not putting something up that could spark another fandom war; I'm frankly growing tired of that nonsense.


Its just a joke video, nothing about any specific anime. And if someone does take criticism of anime as a 'declaration of fandom war' then thats on thier insecurites, not me.

Recently I've been eating less but still managing to get full. Albeit I might snack a little.
I just had heated up sausages. They were spiced and stuff so they tasted nice.

*shrug* I don't particularly care one way or the other; people can criticize things I like or believe in all they want and it won't actually make a difference if I don't agree with them. I just don't want things going on here that serve no purpose other than flame bait, since I don't feel like letting this turn into something toxic like what happened in the "bitchfest" thread.

Ultimately, if it's a joke it's a joke; the people here who like anime and have seen it so far don't seem to have been offended, so I don't have an issue. I did make a point I wasn't clicking on it, so I had no way of knowing the content until people started reacting to it.

It was just some guy yelling at a bunch of anime fans saying "Anime is trash" and the anime fans yelling back. Nothing special. Pretty sure Dynamo is a fan of it himself, at least judging on his earlier posts on here.

My presumption of him too, which is why putting up the video made no sense unless a) it was flame bait, or b) it's become commonplace for fans of something to insult the thing amongst each other for fun. I avoid communities in general so I wouldn't know, just like how I neither understand (nor care) about most of these memes and internet terms people keep tossing out around the site.

Well I did technically make a point in the opening post that it's against the rules to needlessly start drama here, which is why I've been giving the benefit of the doubt (something I don't usually do) that it wasn't flame bait. So long as it doesn't end up causing any issues, I don't care. I really have no respect whatsoever for people who stir people up for no reason; it's completely idiotic. I'm not babysitting this thread when I've got enough issues already.

Well I wasnt insulting anything, it was a video of someone saying anime is trash in a self aware and humorous way. 'Toxic' and 'Flamebait' is fairly subjective when we move outside of the realm of direct insults. People can become enraged over lots of things said in this thread, but common sense dictactes we don't tiptoe all of our humor and honesty to fit everyone's needs. So far no one is stirred up, and there is no reason why it cant stay that way unless you want to turn this into an issue with me.

It'll only become an issue if I feel like I'm being disrespected. Like I said, I'd let other people's reactions determine it. No one's bothered yet, so there's no problem. I prefer to stay one step ahead of problems, which is why I sent my initial post to you in the first place about it; I was looking for someone to inform me of the content, not for an argument.

As it currently stands, my PC is unable to even save images without basically breaking down on me. Opening up a video to check for content is simply not an option at all for the time being.

I've never particularly found the appeal to horror movies, but it's probably due to never actually being scared at all by them. Even if you don't take into account that I'm extremely difficult to scare or intimidate in real life, my mind is able detach itself from things that I know are fictional; since I never acknowledge any of it as happening it doesn't really work on me.

So I've finished chapter one, I think this will be where I just keep it and continue. I'd like to write the other chapters and not completely devote my life to writing a single chapter. lel
