@Buddha Heyo! Lovely sort of put me on focus for people's powers. So I guess I'll start right with that. Just a reminder, though, everything I say are just pointers or suggestions. If you feel as if I'm not making sense or you prefer to keep things and ignore what I say, that's perfectly fine! Now let's get at it.

First of all, name for your ability: Equilibrium? It's a physics term that doesn't really make much sense but in popular media Equilibrium is often used to trade something or go negative somewhere (getting hurt) in return for a substantial boost somewhere else (increased physique).

Second, I like the power, but I'd like to point out that your character will basically be forcing himself with his power. The feels pain as a way to tell you: dude, stop. You're putting too much pressure on your body. But indeed, during certain moments ignoring pain happens (endorphins and such). However, from personal experience I've learned that if you push this too far, the next day you're pretty much a wreck. This is just a point but know that if your character drives the his power too far, he'll pay a big price for it (walking with a broken bone can basically ruin your leg if you do it too long). For the sake of your character I'd put a footnote in it that he doesn't just get stronger by pain but that his body gets more resistant. So he doesn't end up destroying himself.

Thirdly, what I've seen so far is that the secondary ability is commonly a very vague, weak power that grows over the time of the RP. I personally encourage this because it's something you can use as a plot device. But it is not obligated. Sometimes generic is okay. (I literally got a vampire). Yet, if you're adamant about changing the minor power then I'd be willing to give you a lil push in the form of a brainstorm (though I'd prefer to do this on Discord).

@Legion02 Aw yeah, criticism. First of all, cheers. I appreciate it!

The name change makes sense. It sounds a bit too floaty for me but I like the concept behind it and it definitely flows off the tongue better than 'Pain-strength conversion' so I will probably change that. Did you know equilibrium is also a German metal band? The more you know.

Second point: point taken. I mean, there should be danger to him. Otherwise, this power is literally the most overpowered thing ever, that allows him to keep going infinitely because his body can take it anyway. The way I would rationalize it is maybe 'the added strength in the muscles also does a better job at shielding his bones, or his body in general, allowing him to take hits that would otherwise snap a person in half, if his power is adequately charged'. Does that make sense?

Third: I think my main issue with it was the fact that it's so general and vague. Furthermore it also encroaches on the territory of other characters. I don't want my guy to have 'sense heightening powers' if others have that as a primary power. Obviously my thought was to power mine down so that it becomes _near_ irrelevant at first and later on becomes more notable.

I guess what I'm saying is, we can both agree it's an unoriginal and general power that is useful but not that cool, since other people already have it as a primary power. He's nowhere near their level obviously.. so I think I will keep it on. As you said, it can be expanded upon later in the plot.

Another idea I had is that he could harness whatever powers in his body it is that give him this strength-enhancer, and then 'shoot' it out of his body in a circle around him. Kinda like a force blast.

But that seemed reaaaaaaaaaaally far fetched. Definitely more specialized than what he has now, though.

@Buddha Okay so maybe as secondary power (sorry, brain couldn't help it). How about chi-manipulation. Like the "spiritual" energy from his body. It would increase the strength of his punches and indeed, maybe in the future take the shape of a short range projectile or whatever. Chi would also allow his body to become more flexible, stronger, etc. But his primary power blocks the usage of his chi (adrenaline flooded brain can't focus and keep cool to let the chi flow). So he rarely every uses it hence why it's considered a minor power. Again, just a suggestion.

@Legion02 That's actually kind of what I meant! Like the physical harnessing of his power. But I like the suggestion of having his primary block the secondary. That'd be interesting because that means that, when he's not wounded, he's not entirely useless.

Room assignments - For story sake, we can say Min-soo had his own room for most of these days until an annoying tiny Italian boy decided to live on campus a couple days prior to Fear Fest because he was like HEY IT WOULD JUST BE EASIER TO FILM PEOPLE IF I LIVE ON CAMPUS.

For story sake, when Gabby gets fully accepted, we can say that literally the day before Fear Fest she got a room change - Intel, you can make up the reason why Gabby had to go through a room change. We can say her old room was Mayweather Old West 1D - part of her reason could be because Lucas Farweight is in the room right next to her's LOL. Have it that before the Fear Fest she's literally scrambling to move her things over. This opens an interaction for Avalon and Gabby! And well, friendship.

And it's already been IC candid that NPC Sabrina Danford (cousin to Mitch and cat) will be Eliana's new roommate - but Sabrina is also becoming an actual character played by Vicious!
