Xian walked down towards his house, nearby an Ally.

Ayeka is sitting in her apartment looking out the window as she wish something could happen. She make ice dripping down hand then turning it back to water before it ends up back into a glass. To her she could go bothfer her neighbors but rather not at this hour of night.

Kurai melted into the shadows of the alley he was residing in, watching the nearby boy. He continued to follow him, staying in the shadows as he made them surround him, making him almost invisible.

She leaned against a building watching the infrared movement in her sight, her eyes sensing an odd movement nearby.

Xian went into his house and sighed. He made a string breeze around the room. It was strong enough to close an open window in his flat. He went into his room and sighed.

Kurai stepped out of the shadows, a type of shadowy demon following. It had the appearance of a dog, but it was huge. He had sweat in his white hair, so it obviously takes effort. He rolled up his jacket's sleeves and a pentagram tattoo is revealed. It rests on his lower arm, stark black against his pale skin.

Down on the street Alex Bell circled the pole for the phone line. She looked around the street, double checking her map that this was definitely the right place. She looked at the house across the street, nodded, and took a device like an old rotary phone out of her bag. She affixed it to the side of the pole with a strap, then withdrew a length of rope that she looped through her tool belt and then around the pole. She grabbed a wire from the device, looped that over her shoulder, braced her boots against the pole, and began to work her way up to the lines themselves.

It wasn't an easy climb, but when she made it to the top it offered a commanding view of the entire street. Which meant that everyone could see her, which meant she had to work quickly if she wanted to to do this before someone got curious and called the cops. She wasn't averse the the cops showing up eventually, but the service she rendered wasn't exactly conventional and they had a habit of completely misinterpreting the situation and jumping to conclusions when they saw a short, pudgy teenager screwing around on top of a poll, splicing something into the lines.

With that in mind she pulled out her tools and worked quickly.

Ayeka looks up and looks out the window. She notices someone up on a poll, she climbs out the window to stand on the fire exit stairs. She raise herself up by to the poll with ice. She quickly makes it dissapears quickly so nobody would see it. She just watch this girl to not spook her or she may fall, "nice view of the city."

"You should see it from one of the cell towers." Alex replied casually, not looking up. "Especially at sunset. Looks like a pain...ting..." Alex looks up from splicing in the last of the wires to see her unexpected visitor. "Uhhhhhh..." She started. "I'm a lineman for the county. Working on the line. No?"

She looked round awkwardly. "Would you believe I have a legitimately good reason to be up here that's not going to hurt anyone?"

Kursk watched the pair on the pole, and sent his demon after them. It transformed into a large shadowy squirrel like figure, and watched the two as Kurai sneered at the pair. "I have the right of calling the cops on you two. So why shouldn't I? And why shouldn't my friend here devour you both?" He said, still having shadows make a sort of mask for him.

"That depends on using the phone lines to overhear other people's conversation at once and report this information to someone else." Ayeka says as she notices a talking squirrel about devouring them or something along the line of events. She moves her hands to freeze part of the squirrel as snow starts to fall around her in a soft breeze made her hair fall from her ponytail.

The strange movement had resumed a form to a human, as then a new form had taken place with two figures, a small rodent. Sahara, in curiousness, walked to get a closer look at the scene unfolding. "Woah ," she murmured quietly in disbelief, finding one of the figures to be up upon a pole. The rodent had been larger than expected, but it sensory was faded, as if it wasn't actually alive.

Kurai froze, and turned to look directly at the new soul he had sensed. He scampered down the pole and turned back into a human, a faceless shadow mask protecting his identity. His arm morphed into a long tendril, and he attempted to grab the newcomer. "And just why are you here?"

Suddenly, the strange rodent had taken the same form of a human, an odd darkness surrounding his face. His arm had formed into an odd shape in its midst, a sudden adrenaline fueling what was inside of her. As the figure had started to reach toward her, she reacted quickly, having grabbed its limb, pulling it hard toward the ground. " A bit touchy, are we?" she breathed. @DriveEMOut

Kurai laughed as he got up, forgetting about the other two. He summoned two huge shadowy bearlike creatures to go after her, and followed, black flames on his hands. "I'm Kurai...you? My friends and I won't harm you, I just need to know who you are..." Half of his shadow mask disappeared for a second, revealing a milky white eye. The other half disappeared, to show a bloodred eye. "I have a problem with demonic possession."

"I'm not trying to listen to anything. I know what's in there already. I just have to get it ouHO CRAP!" Alex said as the giant shadow squirrel snaked its way up the pole. She slipped, losing her footing on the pole and slipping out of her harness. She feel for one agonizingly long second before the rope looped through her belt snagged on one of the metal footholds at the top of the pole, leaving her swinging upside down in the breeze as her tools slipped out of her belt and clattered to the ground below.

Not the first time this had happened, but it was the least embarrassing. Last time she had been wearing a skirt.

She saw the shadow streak back down down to face some new person that had wandered in, and wondered briefly if this pole was some sort of popular make out spot for circus freaks and monsters. It wouldn't be surprising. Shadow boy said he wasn't going to hurt the girl, but seeing as he'd already threatened to eat her for the crime of trying to render a simple public service, she wasn't inclined to believe that. Especially when he was calling up horrible shadow demons. She reached into the pants pocket of the brown workmens uniform she'd donned as a clever disguise. Out came a pale blue flip-phone.

She flipped it open, reveling the numbers had been replaced with strange, glowing symbols. Quickly she punched in a combination of them while he advanced on the unfortunate interloper, flipped the phone around so the speakers faced his, and hit the CAST button. The phone sparked with energy for a moment, then a melodious bass hum filled the air as it spat up a wave of concentrated sound three times the size of the speakers that descended directly on the shadow boy like a tidal wave.

"Oh, oh shit," Sahara stumbled for words and took a small step back. She blinked in each direction, frightened by the circumstances. He said 'demonic possession', get'cho ass outta there! Her hands reached slowly to her phone, but did not grab at it. Assuming the shadow-bears would chase her, she let her hand go down and returned her gaze to the one in front of her. "Mm," she nodded as she checked the person out, "It's Sahara."

Kurai's mask disappeared, revealing his full face. He was very pale, with white hair. He also had a small scar on his lip. He screamed, his mouth opening and a shadow like tongue was revealed. His teeth were white, and very sharp. Kurai ran inside a random building and begun summoning more shadow animals until he had a very small army, about 15. He ran outside, the mask back and three shadow animals, resembling cheetahs, charged the pole. He sent a couple more to continue to find everyone, and used two bears as guards. He laughed maniacally, and his voice deepened. "Run, you insolent mortals!" For a second, everything flickered. "Fuck..." His voice was normal for that one, and he seemed scared, as if he couldn't control himself. "This is bad. Run, dammit!" He shouted, the shadows reappearing.

Ayeka freezes the cheetah and shatters it to pieces. She had to stay calm to not make a hectic winter storm. Whatever the girl did made the shadows leave them alone for now. She wonders if it is magic as she just watch the scene before her eyes below her. She wonders if she should help the girl stuck hanging from a rope but is hesitant to do so.

"Yeah, let me just come down there where you can get me!" Alex screamed down in frustration as she watched the cheetahs explode into shards of ice. She reached over to the wire she had spliced into the lines and gave the wire a good strong yank. The device she had affixes to the pole came off with a soft pop and knocked against the pole. "Run." She grumbled derisively and she pulled the device up hand over hand. "Run where, you idiot. I'm on a stick hanging in the air. This is how they hunt raccoons."

She pulled the device into her grasp and hugged it to her chest. She hoped the yank hadn't done any damage. She hardly had the resources to build another one. She knocked the receiver out of its holder and let it dangle toward the ground as quickly went to work with the rotary dial. The number of a certain apartment within the nearby building was spun into the phone. There was sudden thrum of power, a blue light that shot out of the device and up the line. It merged into the normal phone line and sped away to the apartment before suddenly shooting back down as quickly as it came, landing back into the device with a sharp thump.

Dangling below, the receiver began to twitch violently back and forth while a strange noise began to emanate from it. It was like the sound of many people trying to speak over one another but too angry and full of vitriol to listen to what the others were saying. Buried underneath was a steady electronic screech. Something black and sickly began to bubble out of the end of the receiver, a putrid slime that smelled of battery acid and burnt ozone. It bulged a wriggled there at the end until it was the size of a bowling ball before being dislodged and falling with a splat on the ground where it broke open like clotted blood. It still continued growing though, becoming more solid. More defined. Features became apparent as it grew to the side of a large dog, then a man, the a car. It was like a lizard, dark scaled with a coat of platinum blond hair that ran in curls all the way down its back to the tip of its whiplike tail. It's four long legs ended in ruby red talons, and all throughout its body were embedded jewels and pearls and gold that twinkled in the sun when the creature moved. It settled there in the midst of everything, turning its hidden eyes this way and that before they settled on shadow boy. It raised a finger and pointed to them. "HELLLLLLLLP!" it screeched, its voice a shredded and distorted parody of a womans. "SHE'S FALLEN!" With that it rushed at his and his bears, rearing up on its hind legs to bring its claws down on them.

Alex looks sheepishly up at the ice lady. "I was here to kill that." She said. "That's why I was up here."
