"Press the button," telepathically said Steve.

"What? I thought it was your turn! It's only fair if-"

"You know I don't care if I press the button! Just press the button! You're making us look bad," said Steve. Jerry smacked his hoof against a button. The light turned green.

"Are you sure you understand," began Jerry, but Felix's chance to reply was taken away as Steve pushed him into the light. The glasses seemed to react to the light in a peculiar way. They tensed, somewhat painfully (sort of like a particularly aggressive cheek pinch). Then the pain subsided and was replaced by comfort as some sort of odd cushion was placed under the glasses.

Felix was sitting, like a king, on a large pile of carrots. The pile of carrots was in the back of a cart being carried by a lone man. The man was wearing old rags and had a distracted look on his face. Felix felt slight pressure on his back and realized he was wearing a baby blue backpack. There was a lightning bolt drawn on the side with red sharpie marker. A sticker was slapped onto the side of it- "Travels through time with you."

If there's something in the backpack, it's very light.

William was glad to see that Emily was still alive and well, "Oh thank god you're okay, I really appreciate what you did back there." He then noticed that they're now at a grassy field with some houses nearby and a large white building which was labeled "Laboratory". The air smelled pleasant, as if someone stuck a whole bunch of flowers into William's nose. "Hey Emily, I don't suppose you know where we are now? And how are your wounds? Will you be alright?"

"I'll be fine if I get some medical treatment. Maybe they'll have something in the lab," said Emily, as she shakily made her way towards it. "I have no idea where we are. I haven't explored much of the dungeon."

Jesper shrugged as Emily got up, and followed the others. "I just wanted some good loot, is all. I don't have a proper weapon. You understand, right Emily? Also, do any of you have a spare gun? It would really help me, with all the people trying to kill me."

William followed behind Emily while making sure Eddie was still with them, "Hmm alright, hope they'll have something useful for us. We'll also have to find a way to get Sandra too." He then turned to Jesper, "Hey Jesper, you can have my gun if you want, figured you should be able to handle it better than I do." he finished his sentence and handed his submachine gun to Jesper.

The door to the lab was unlocked, and Emily let herself in. Eddie seemed glad to stop the Macarena, exhausted. "I understand... just a thief..." grunted Emily through her pain.

The lab was... empty. Well, mostly empty. There was a couple tables, some folding chairs, a snack machine, a ping-pong table and a lone door. "Restricted, Lab Personnel ONLY!" Naturally, they weren't Lab Personnel, so they were doomed, unable to enter the door.

I'm kidding, of course. Emily didn't heed the warning and walked through the doorway anyways. "Help! I've been shot! I need medical attention!" she shouted down a flight of stairs present in front of her. Eddie seemed distracted, and played with the colorful buttons on the snack machine.

A few people wearing lab coats hurried to the stairs, and took Emily with them downstairs. A lean man with curly blond hair spoke to William and Jesper. "Stay here. We'll help your friend."

The door was closed, Emily was brought downstairs, and William and Jesper were alone. They stood around for maybe a minute when the noticed something... a mysterious growling sound. In fact, several mysterious growling sounds seemed to be present and coming from below them. And it wasn't like the floor had eaten some questionable Mexican food. This resembled an animal growl, perhaps bears or dogs. Of course, this was accompanied by the faint sound of the Macarena coming from outside.

William was glad that Emily was able to get help in the Laboratory, though it was weird that they were so eager to help, and why couldn't they follow? Soon William's thoughts were cut short as he started hearing growling noises coming from down below, his time with animals made it certain to him that they were animal growls too. "Jesper... you hear that right?" said William worriedly. He was worried that Emily might be in trouble, or is this even a safe place to begin with.

"Yeah." Jesper looked down at his new gun. "Thanks for this, by the way. Hey, maybe we should go down there? I don't necessarily trust these doctors. You know, with all those movies with killer scientists and such have really messed up my perception of reality. It's a real shame."

"Yeah, I think we better head down there to see what's going on. If it turns out to be nothing, the worst we could get is probably just some scolding by some nerds." said William as he walked towards the door. "Also if you don't mind, how about you take the lead? I don't exactly have a weapon right now and preparing a spell would take a while."

Jesper and William made their way down the staircase (assuming that Jesper takes the lead.) The growling sounds grow slightly louder as Eddie continued to fiddle with the buttons on the soda machine.

There are half a dozen scientists in the lab and they are completely focused on Emily's injury. They are actively running around, applying pressure to the wound, and fetching medicine. Emily is unconscious and laying on a wooden table on the opposite end of the lab.

In the center of the lab are several boxes of sorts, with blankets thrown over them. Although their layout is seemingly random, the boxes aren't scattered around the floor. They seem to be deliberately sorted.

Oh, another interesting things about these boxes- Whatever was under these blankets was definitely responsible for this growling noise.

William walked up towards the scientists, seeing that they're not actually harming Emily. "So how is she doing? Sorry for coming down here but those growling noises made us worry." It was rather odd that they have so many boxes with animals inside, what were they doing with them? The animal lover in William started to worry, but the scientists seem decent enough to him that he shrugged it off for now. "Oh and if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you have in those boxes?"

One of the scientist pulls Jesper and William aside.

"I can tell you," she glances over her shoulder. "But don't let anyone know. And don't tell the other scientist that I told you." She leans in. "They're dragons. We're breeding them and we're trying to create a very specific breed of dragon that hasn't been discovered yet, and we need to bend the laws in order to pull it off. It's not exactly... healthy for the dragons," she seems to feel a tad guilty.

"We were worried you were with he Dragon Inspection Organization, or DIO. That's why we didn't let you come down. The thing is, only two of the eight people working in this lab are properly licensed. And, given the intense care that a domesticated dragon requires, there should only be four dragons per licensed scientist and one dragon per unlicensed personnel. We have... thirty... don't tell Ronald I told you, or the DOI. Please."

"Wow seriously? Dragons!? Can I have a look at one of them?" said William wide-eyed. William had seen and interacted with all sorts of animals but a dragon is something completely new and impossible to him, it brought out the kid inside. "And don't worry, we're not with anyone and we won't tell anyone either. Certainly have no idea who this Ronald person is. If you showed me one maybe I can teach you a summoning spell?". William was eager to see a dragon and did whatever he could to convince the scientist.

The scientist glanced over at the male scientist with curly blond hair. "That's Ronald," she said, but she smiled when William became excited. "Okay, okay, I'll let you see one. But be quiet."

She brought William to a small cage and lifted on of the blankets up slightly and showed William... an empty cage.

"Oh no..." she gulped, "that's... not good..."

William was excited to finally be able to see a dragon, he always thought they were extinct or just plain myths. Once the scientist lifted up the blanket however, he was slightly disappointed. "What do you mean that's not good? Does it have the ability to turn invisible and it's shy?" he said as he examined the interior of the cage carefully, trying to make out the shape of the dragon. After a moment of clarity he turned around and looked back at the scientist, "Wait, don't tell me the dragon escaped...?"

"That specific dragon was... different..." the scientist wrung her hands. "You see, dragons are categorized in a specific way. First, based off of their physical structure and wings, then their scale color, then their size, then their magical capabilities, then their intelligence/ eye color. This dragon was just a small Standing White Dragon. Can't even produce elemental magical breath... the only thing special about this dragon is it's intelligence and..."

She seemed ready to throw up.

"...oh, I thought it was properly secure. You see, this dragon is so intelligent that it can communicate with humans. So it blends in perfectly... especially since this dragon can shape shift. He could literally be anyone in this room. He's either long gone, or he's knocked out someone and taken their place. Of course, he wouldn't leave without freeing the other dragons! Oh no! What are we going to do?"

The Master was sleeping at a bar stool. The bar was dimly lit, and there were two men playing pool. He sound of a cue stick hitting the cue ball woke him up. He had never seen the bar before. Never seen the people inside of it before.

"Hey," said the bartender. She was a fat, ugly woman. "Someone asked me to give this to you." She handed him a glass of soda and four coins. The glass of soda was resting on a small napkin. The napkin had a phone number written on it. Underneath the phone number was a simple message:

In the corner of this bar, there is a phone. Put the coins into the slot under the phone, listen to the message, and follow the instructions. The soda's free.

William expected a giant winged crocodile in the cage, but instead he got a shape shifting genius who escaped, just great. "Well obviously we gotta let the rest know that this dragon escaped, especially since it can shape shift!". William's knowledge about animals and science-fictional shape shifting monster in the snow gave him an idea, "Alright, we gotta lock the doors and make sure no one goes in or out. Also this dragon has to have a weakness right?"

The scientist shook her head. "We can't hurt it. We've broken too many laws already. Plus, he probably doesn't want to kill any of us, just to escape and free the other dragons... which would kill us. Even if we announce that we are locking the doors, he'll just free them more quickly. He has the upper hand. If we let him know that we're on to him, then he'll just speed his plan along. No, the element of surprise is our best bet."

Ignoring the soda, The Master scans the bar, trying to remember anything that might help him discern his current location or how he got here.
"Hey, can you tell me how long I've been here?"- he asked the bartender while pocketing the coins and further inspecting the napkin, taking a whiff to maybe learn if it belonged to a female or male.
