Name: Zane Wulf
Alias: Black Knight
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Occupation: Private Detective
Family: Peter Wulf (foster father, deceased), Marcus White (Father, deceased), Evaline White (Mother, Deceased)
Personality: Zane is a stoic man, with a strong sense of justice. This often leads him to go beyond the law to punish those who use their influence or technicalities in the legal system to escape conviction. He tries not to form emotional attachments, as he has lost too many friends and relatives to put himself through that pain again, but his natural empathy draws him in to his clients and takes every case as personally as you can get.
Notoriety: None (Zane), Wanted (Black Knight)
Class/Level: Class 2 / Yellow Level
Powers/Abilities:
Black Knight's Armour: Zane's power is based around an armour that manifests itself around him when he wills it. While wearing that armour, Zane is ten times stronger than he normally is, can run up to 40mph, and is immune to most kinds of gunfire. In addition, the armour can produce blades for him to fight with, usually a longsword as that's the weapon he's most comfortable using.
Other Skills: Zane is a trained sword-fighter, and hand-to-hand combatant. Even without his armour, he is able to disarm an armed gunman from ten feet away without too much of a hassle. As a private detective, he is skilled in seeking out information and in well versed in matters to do with the law.
Equipment: A well cared for wooden sword, which he uses in his detective work.
Bio: From a young age, Zane's parents had taught him to uphold the roles of a knight. To be a man of justice and smite down all evil in his path. By the time he was five, he had started learning kickboxing at a gym, under the tutelage of Peter Wulf, a close friend of the family. Life was good for the young boy, as he trained day and night to become a true fighter. However, two years later, tragedy struck. His parents were caught in a fight between gangs, and were killed. Zane was training at the time, and so escaped that fate. It was at their funeral that he promised them to become a knight of justice, and make sure no one else would experience that level of pain.
Peter took Ryteb in as a son, as he had always wanted a child but never found the time to settle down. In addition to teaching Zane kickboxing, he also educated him on the path of the longsword, and fighting with smaller blades, like knives. In pursuit of his goal of justice, studied to become an officer of the law, and even succeeded. But he became disillusioned with them, as the precinct keep shoving crimes under the rug, as apparently they "weren't important enough" to be investigated. After doing some digging, he found that many officers at the precinct were taking bribes from the gangs to look the other way. When he learned of this his rage just exploded out, and he unlocked his powers for the first time. Seeing the potential of this armoured form, he quit the precinct to become a private detective, while waging war on the gangs that plagued his city. This war claimed the lives of everyone he cared about, from his friends, to his lover, to Peter. He continues the fight alone, one case at a time, trying to save his city from the scum who wish to put themselves above the law.
