@Wraithblade6

Just gonna point out that servants of the chaos gods have no souls. They willingly give them up at some point in their servitude (at least i think so @thewizardguy can correct me if i'm wrong)

@Tyki

Most servants of Chaos still have a Soul, albeit a twisted one, as to not have a soul would be death. The exception here is Daemon Princes, who are allowed to ascend beyond humanity. Their 'Soul' is replaced by a large amount of raw Warp energy, giving them immense power in exchange for fully removing their last ties to humanity, and turning them into eternal servants of Chaos.

Jesus Christ that's a lot of ships. But okay, that'd be interesting.

Faction accepted, but take into account two things

1) you're going to be entering Arcadia. basically being teleported into orbit around the planet, most of your fleet spread throughout the solar system.
2) I may fodderize some of your fleet, considering your immense numbers.

You okay with these?

@thewizardguy I'd rather not have my fleet fodderized as it takes a hell of a lot of ships to keep up a basic patrol of the solar system. There's so many ships because the frontier is the entire Oort Cloud and outer solar system, which is a lot of space. Furthermore, compared to everyone else's equipment, they're as weak as can be. Then to top it off, they can't communicate across the solar system without at least tens of minutes of delay, and they can't travel anywhere without a gravitic drive, which is only present in the battleship, supercarrier, carrier, and dreadnought. I imagined the fleetcomm center orbiting Jupiter would be brought along for the ride so that the entire fleet isn't sent into disarray, too.

Also, btw, a patrolboat is a 5 person vessel. The most a vessel holds is 1,500, and that's the supercarrier. 99% of their size just comes from holding missiles.

I recognize that, but also take into account that the New Imperium Fleet consists of about 10 ships. Admittedly I doubt any 1 ship (or even 10 ships for that matter) from the USN Jovial Fleet could take on a proper Imperium battleship, but there's still a numbers gap of a few thousand there. The faction that comes closest to the numbers you possess is the Goa'Uld, and even they only have a couple hundred ships, not counting individual fighters.

And you realise that the information that even your smallest ships carry dozens if not hundreds of missiles doesn't exactly assure me that they're not going to roll over everything?

In any case, I'll allow you to bring your entire fleet, but recognise you're going to be the largest target. Any enemy fire is going to be directed mainly at you, because you just brought in an army several hundred times the size of any other faction.

I assume if Rainbow's characters encountered a portal in their universe, it would have only sucked in however many ships were in the area. Not a whole galaxy's worth.

These guys haven't even left their solar system yet, the furthest they've gone out is the inner Oort cloud, so not a whole galaxy's worth. And from what I've been reading, 1970s-era ballistic missiles don't hold a candle to things like directed energy weapons, matter obliterators, forcefields, etc.

EDIT: Also, the patrolboat carries a maximum load of 7 missiles. Even then, it's not likely to carry a full load due to weight reasons. The largest missile carrier, the dreadnaught, could probably carry about 100. Again, not a full load due to weight reasons. They still use chemical and ion engines, they have to watch their weight so they can actually move through space.

Hmmm.... well, if it's 1970s tech I'll allow it. In a straight confrontation they might overwhelm most opponents through sheer numbers, but with that low tech they'd be vulnerable to a lot of tricks that others have countered. For example, teleporting troops into enemy ships as part of boarding operations.

Faction (and characters) accepted.

Take into account that many of the characters in the Characters section are no longer active. The only currently active factions are your own, the Imperium of Man, the Immortals, and the Tyranid. And both the Immortals and the Tyranid are unlikely to directly respond to your arrival.

Question; is firebrand's original character from Disgea? for some reason the design and over-all nature of him is reminding me of an early/mid game boss from the games

Ghouls and Ghosts, but the characterization I'm using is mostly from Namco X Capcom.
