@KoL I see the nips.

I would also like to shoot down Initiate Time Control with the logic that was applied to Marquis' Temportal Distortion to balance it. It can only effect something for a fraction of a second, really.

I don't know what you may be talking about...

You are right and not at the same time.

That could be the case if Ni-Mu was doing like Marquis and overclocking her processors, but she's actually changing her own time, using a field of bounded space. Essentially that's technology based on Juno's spatial control powers. The real over clock is her Overlimit ability.

Ni-Mu can keep the "slow" speeds for more time, it's only when she goes closer to her limits that she has to do it in short bursts or get damaged by the pressure that super speed movement puts on her.

The ability is basically a copy of Kiritsugu Emiya's Innate Time Control, so it's indeed meant for short bursts, but Ni-Mu can push it, with the knowledge that if she pushes herself too much she'll get seriously damaged.

'Tis fair, then. I would just like to know how long this lasts at the higher ends.

Marquis needs a chassis upgrade soon, damn... everyone else in the Machina is borderline NSFW, and then there's him.

Really, just something like a split second or so. Pretty much just the time to dodge, or do a super high speed attack knowing that it's not a good idea.

Ohoho? Do you want Eos to give him a bigger cane for some naughty piston action? I like where this is going, hehehe.

So, Flos is kinda maybe encountering Shizuka and Tity-can't-spell-name, and Diana and Hibiki need to destroy some easily destroyed NPCs, then we can have a battle wrap up post?

More or less. I just need to give Suprana the roast hand and I think we'll be good.

Oh good. I was wondering if you'd forgotten about her. Once that and what Gecko said are wrapped up, you all can enjoy the brief intermission between rounds to socialize, upgrade, and other stuff, while I begin my plot to violently murder everyone....I mean, my plot to tenderly murder everyone. yeah, that's better.

Sneak peek of next round: Tentacles. Tentacles everywhere.

Heh, Fran may very well meet her match, and considering her relationship with Suparna, that is saying something.

Alexi: I'm just going to wait up here, where I can breath.

Miyu: Well, let's go for a walk, gents.

If I spoiled things so early, you'd all spec for the encounter.

but no, there shouldn't be water.

Speaking of "Spec for the encounter",

Do you mind if I put a blanket "Environmental Adaption Gear" in Miyu's arsenal? Like, so that we can say that if she needs some basic gear to be able to have Daimyo function in the environment at all (like the speedboat shoes in the beach episode), she has it? Or is that too flexible?

Well you shouldn't need that for the next round, but I don't see issue with it.

Assuming Miyu can even get any work done on her mech. I mean, she's considered a traitor by all sides and the Machina seem to have her in the bag. Odds are she'll be spending the next round in captivity, especially after she pulled off that double cross on the Demons.

@Lonewolf685 They have her corpse in the bag. And the injury that caused it is brain death from bleeding into her brain. I'm not really certain how much they can achieve with that.

@Lonewolf685 Nope. I had realized she should have died way back when she "fought" Juno, 50,000 g's of acceleration is not remotely survivable. I had replaced all her posts with "wait, sorry, was dead the whole time" but people kept carrying on as though she was alive, so I posted that to drive the sledgehammer a little further home.

Ah, my bad.

Still, that means she's back at Heaven, and they aren't inclined to let her go free anytime soon.

@Lonewolf685 Because a magical system with the Angel of Death behind it that respawns you in the kingdom you belong to is definitely something Miyu could have hacked. Unless Shizuka still reappears in heaven every time she dies.

Still though, presuming they do put her on trial in heaven, I have a secret plan.
