@Dannyrulx Haha, looks like I'm too late to be the only girl, but that's just as well. The Raia base char would shut down just about everyone. Brutally, in many cases. Better to have someone else around so she doesn't start killing people. ^.^;;

I would like to know just how far into the mythic we are going. I'm usually in rps with higher magic, but I can adjust fairly easily. I mostly need to know because Raia's original version is...not entirely human. Not hard to get rid of, and I have in the past. In fact, my latest character is a vengeance driven wholly-human version of her. Someone killed her twin. She got nasty very, /very/ quickly. <.< But Alys with her twin still alive is a little less violence-happy.

She's actually drawn a little on Indy, though it wasn't deliberate, and happened because the rp she's from had a few different ruins-spelunking missions. Raia, at age eleven or so, became interested in magic anthropology, and eventually went on to teach at a local college. Her true passion is reconstruction of the way magic impacted ancient cultures. Now, if magic isn't exactly.../known/, then this puts a kink in things, so let me work through this in text.

Right, so instead of magic anthropology, it'd probably be either regular anthropology, or something like folklore and mythology with an anthropological bent. Probably the latter, actually. Still a professor, and her focus would still be magic anthropology if there's enough knowledge maintained that some people know about it. Her background is usually tightly entwined with people who are familiar with such things. Are there any modern groups still employing magic with any effect? Might be her hated father was either originally from a cult and split off on his own, or perhaps carrying on family teachings. It'd explain how she's aware, and further how she knows about it, and how she kept learning more over the years. Perhaps not /active/ study of spells and rituals, but certainly in a research capacity. I'll need to reduce the background issues, of course, but...yes. Turn her mentor from a demon to a human and the various other nonhuman races likewise to human, a few tweaks, and yup, this would definitely work.

*wiggles happily* Nobody's been posting anywhere, lately, though it looks like they might be returning. Still, it's left me hungry for a good rp, and I really could use another group one. This looks like just the thing. I'm glad I stumbled across your interest check! Although I should have been faster typing this up. *eyes her clock* <.< It's been a long day, and I got /very/ distracted. I do that. x.x And really, I should be in bed now. ^.^;; So yeah, can't put a sheet together, but I'll be looking for a ping back in the morning, most likely. <3 And I should have time to get it mostly together in the next...*eyes schedule* ...ehhh, tomorrow is dress rehearsal for choir. That's like my entire evening. And I have to see the dentist in the morning -- a filling cracked, like two days after I got it. Not cool, but what can you do? That means I don't know if I'll have time tomorrow to get a sheet together following feedback, but I will have time Saturday. I don't usually have quite this much of a life. ^.^;;

Oh! as a note, I can't be a leader as a bad guy, and I can't promise to be hate-their-guts evil. But I can do a good slightly-crazy, a good reluctant, and probably a misguided. Or someone blackmailed or even magic-ritualed into helping. ^.^ I'm not good at true evil, but I've got some of the lighter grey shades down well enoguh to play a decent minion. Or even a trusted lieutenant, perhaps. <3 If you need 'em.

Random note about a squishy doctor here. In case people need medical aid...don't know if you'd have any interest in this. Probably wouldn't do him as my only character, but he's great as the conscience and dangerously altruistic Heart for a party. Just don't let him get himself hurt too badly trying to be a good guy. <.< Really, he needs Malie, but I don't think an invisible soul-eating demon girlfriend (it makes sense in context? ^.^;; ) fits well here. So he's probably going to get hurt.

Anyhow. Bed now. *flops off to bed*

Every pulp plot needs a femme fatal. Course usually they die at the end. Looking at you blonde Austrian chick from Last Crusade.
Though crazy priest sounds fun.

@FantasyChic
Course Jack's going to be the only one not hitting on her at all times. There has to be at least one gentleman.

Well. I'm a derp, or more tired than I thought last night. I didn't see the full tag, nor the title indicator that you guys are full. That's a pity. *flushes* I guess I jumped right into the thread when I came over...I'll just see myself out, shall I? >.<;; Very sorry.

@FantasyChicLooks awesome to me, go ahead and throw it over into the characters tab! I'm eager to see her in action.

@LeotamerI'd imagine that his parents were founding members of the Rutherford Organization alongside Sven and Victor, and that Sven was likely a well-known family friend, constantly visiting to discuss business and work out plans. This would probably mean that Sven and Alexander are familiar with each other, enough for Sven to offer him an invitation to join when he came of age, and that Alexander knows Sven was friendly with his parents, but I doubt they're TOO familiar with each other beyond that.

@Tsar Gatto@LordZell As far as bad guys are concerned: I'm fine with just about any nationality/origin, but I would like to see a bit of mixing things up. For Tsar, I really like both the Femme Fatale idea(A possible rival to Georgina?), as well as the ex-Catholic. As for you, Zell, I'd be okay with the SS officer idea(We could tie him in as an old rival to Sven from during the Great War), but if you think of something that works better with our current party composition, feel free to give it a go.

@shylarahHey, no worries, we all make mistakes! Should some unforeseen circumstances befall us and an open slot appear, you'll be the first person I contact. And feel free to stick around to read how the story plays out.

@DepressedSoviet

Here we go. One Femme Fatale. Let me know what y'all think.

I'm not sure exactly what you meant when you said that you can only control one character at a time, but I'll likely make one more who won't be involved in the Rutherford project, but rather a direct antagonist who will possibly be a member of the Axis equivalent (which I assume is the case for @LordZell's Hans Landa?)

@Tsar GattoI really like the character! Feel free to throw it on over into the characters tab.

As for running a more direct antagonist alongside her: I'm a bit hesitant. I'd like to, because we could use it, but I really don't like making special exceptions for players, it just doesn't feel right. So I dunno.

What does everyone else think?

@DepressedSoviet well I was planning for my character to run as a direct antoganist to the organization. He'd be part of the german version of that I assume. As for the SS/Thule thing, I figured the SS had always been more mystic and shroud in mystery. The Thule society (As I learned from Supernatual) were basically the german's versaion of the organization looking for old relics and supernatual things.

Name: Hans Landa
Age: 38
Sex: Male
Nationality: German

Appearance:Hans is a typical german as shown in propaganda short blonde hair, light blue eye and Standing at an average of 5'7. However the more you look into him His face is covered by scars and if you ever saw his body it'd likewise be covered and his left eye is covered by an eyepatch.

Outward Personality: Hans appears to others as a serious man often following orders to the leter. Hans likewise is not social with those who work below him. The man even carries himself higher then others having been used as a propoganda piece for the amount of wound and scars he's gotten from battle and yet still carries on.

Inner Personality: while on the outside he may seem calm and collected often calcualtin others moves. Deep down Hans doesn't want to be feared or used as a symbol he wants to be respected and trusted by others, Though this often comes in contrast with his desire for power having lost so much he wants to lead and change the way things are done even if he is hated.

Backstory: Hans had joined the SS near it's foundation having studied history in school and served in world war I. He was made an officer and had helpped with early studies of anything Supernatural. Some of said experiences didn't always turn out well he usually being a sole survivor though always getting the objective. by 1939 Hans had accumlated a reputaion for loyalty and was trusted to help in the Invasion which took a little over a month. He remained in poland for the rest of the year overseeing all supernatual projects trying to find advantages over the allies. Over time as the war grew a joint force between the Germans,Italians and Japanese was formed to uncover Supernatual object in hostile territory most notably in africa.

Other: Hans is a member of the SS and is a high ranking member of the Thule Society.

How is this so far? Thinking maybe Mathieu was connected with the organization. She is good for infiltration and information. If not her I have another idea for a professor though it seems we have a lot of scholarly types.

Name: Imogen Yvonne Georgina Trondeau (Nee-Thomas)
Citizenship: French
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Marital Status: Widowed
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Height: 5'6
Weight: 124
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Brown
Handed: Left

Slender and lean, Imogen carries herself with great poise and grace. She is stylishly dressed and blends well in high society crowds. Her hair is always neatly pinned up or styled to fit whatever occasion she may be attending.

Imogen wears very little in the way of makeup, preferring a fresh and natural look though she isn't above highlighting her large blue eyes when dressing up.

Her nails are always done with a basic french manicure and her perfume a delicate floral scent. Imogen carries a french accent and has the tendency to slip into using french words when flustered.

Imogen is a dancer and singer, at one point a star in the Paris theatre scene. She carries a reputation, both her own and her husband’s that allows her access to people and places others could not easily get to. She also became very interested in anthropology, mythology and occult through her husband.

Imogen would describe herself as refined, polite and controlled in all things. She remembers everything a skill she carries over from her theatre work.

Basic Likes:
Red wine
Quiet restaurants
Books

Basic Dislikes:
Feeling weak or out of control

Born to just outside Paris. Imogen was an only child. At a young age she was enrolled in ballet and singing lessons. She was brought into the Paris ballet and soon ‘discovered’ by a theatre company owner. She became a performer and star in the Paris theater scene. She was able to meet a lot of influential people and learned many secrets from men courting her favour.

When she was 22 she traveled to Canada with the theatre group and there she met Mathieu Trondeau. A scholar and professor he taught anthropology and mythology at the University of Montreal. He was eighteen years her senior. The pair married in secret just two months after meeting.

Her father died that same year and her mother a year later. Mathieu moved to France to be with her and allow her to continue her performing. He got a job working in a museum. All of her free time was spent with Mathieu enjoying life in Paris, making friends with the well to do and military elite who enjoyed the theater or researching with him.

Four years ago she and Mathieu were out for an evening of Opera and drinks when, walking down a back alley they were accosted by three men. Mathieu, protective of his wife took a beating from the men. Imogen was dragged into an alley and assaulted. Mathieu died of his injuries.

@SkullsandSlippers If she's accepted I have a feeling her and Georgina would get along swimmingly, provided she's allied with the Allied powers. They both seem smart and are interested in investigation.

@DepressedSoviet let me know what you think so far. I can add the current situation to show her working with the group because of her husband's connection.
