@Loki OdinsonAll I have to say about your CS is you distributed "6" points and you're only allowed 5. So you need to get rid of a point. You can make that fix. You're approved, which means you're approval number 7. Seeing as it is midnight right now where I am, I will be putting this game up tomorrow and kicking us off. All the people still floating in the interest pool can join at their leisure.

@Holy SoldierFair enough, I see your point of view. I knew the first draft would be off given the way the CS was set.

As for starting items:
Silk robe provides the loudmouth ability, the loudmouth ability prevents silence.
You are asking us to use the very start level 1 equipment, as in start the game, hit pause and that is what you get?

Does Gordon freeman start with pistol grenades crowbar SMG and gravity gun in the first 10 seconds of play? I honestly do not know, I've never played Any of the half-life series.

I know Buck starts with his 4 weapons off the bat because I've played ODST.

As for strengths:
Focus is a selected ability you spend a round raising your magic stat by 1.25 and therefor deals more damage with spells. Focus can be performed over and over until the magic stat is 99. But these are static and arbitrary numbers in the setting we have so I kept it simple.

Trance is the only 'limit break' he gets in the whole game with 'double cast' being the only ability he gets for the whole game. It doesn't get crazy but I will move it where it needs to go easily.

As much as I like Vivi, I do not think the structure of FF9's system will mesh well with this particular game.

I think I'll try again with mega-man, now that I understand it a little better.

I think that I'll reserve Doom Slayer. @Holy Soldier Would he be legend because he may be the same as the one in the original?

@knighthawkAll characters can be made to fit the game. You just got to not send me a half-ass CS.

@SpinosaurusDoom Slayer is "supposedly" Doom Guy. Because of this, I will say yes. If they had been two different characters, then I will say no. However, since for this game we are going with the idea that they are the same character, then you need to use that concept also.

...So remember how I said you won't have to worry about me flaking out? Yeah. About that.

To be honest, it's not so much that I'm really busy, it's just that I can't seem to get myself excited for this RP. Like, it looks really cool, and I hope it goes well, but I'm just not feeling anything about it other than "meh".

I'm really sorry about this, and again, I hope this RP goes well for you all. And given the amount of people that have signed up, it seems like this will be a fairly successful RP!

@Holy Soldier
Character Name: Rum the Enlightened.

Title: The accident prone.

Kingdom: Wazhack team? ((They have no company name, so I guess this will do?))

Visual Description:

Written Description: Standing at 5 foot, 7 inches, not including his hat, Rum looks to be that of a older man. However his skin lacks the defining wrinkles of age, and his hair seems unnaturally colored grey to the trained eye. His robes are that as seen in his picture, ornate, along with his hat. His hair, along with his facial hair, is extremely soft, almost unnaturally so. His eyes have a slight underlying glow, betraying his magical nature.

Personality: Rum is gentle, caring, and curious. He can be at time, rambunctious, and excitable like someone far younger than he is, but this stems from his internal want to discover, and learn. He has an addictive personality, and he knows it, so he strives to avoid booze, or drugs. He even takes medical supplies with caution, worried that he'd become hooked, and dependent on the stuff, paranoid about his vulnerability to such things. He also has fears about women, a encounter in the Dungeon having changed his outlook for life, causing him to eye women with terror, and paranoia.

Game: Wazhack.

Current Story: Wazhack is a game where the story is bare bones. An adventurer heads into a dungeon, seeking the Amulet of Zaw, and the random events of the game shape the story. Rum went into the dungeon, but returned without the amulet, and was deemed a coward. What he saw in the dungeon, no one knows. That is how Rum avoided a horrible fate, he was scared, and scarred, by the dungeon, and his cowardice kept him alive.

Weapon(s): A wooden staff of +0, and a Quill and Ink, but nothing to write on.
A wand of magic missile, with 30 charges.
((Magic missile is a spell in wazhack, that acts differently than in most games. It's a bolt of magic that shoots though targets, no matter their strength, but it might simply pass though without doing to much damage. It bounces off of walls, meaning it could hit the caster as well. These blasts do minimal damage.))
Stat.
Level One

(P)Damage 1
(P)Defense 1
(M)(E)Damage 6
(M)(E)Defense 1
Dexterity 1
0%
XP ////////// (0/10)

General Abilities

Slot One.

Special Abilities

Slot One.
Familiar: Rum has a tabby cat following him. It is easily able to maul creatures like goblins, and kobolds, small weak humanoid creatures even when they are armed with clubs, and swords. However, something larger, like a Bugbear, can easily dispatch them. This should note the weaknesses of such creatures, rather than the strength of the bugbear. The tabby cat can also sniff out malignant magical enchantments, warning Rum if they are cursed.

Items

Slot One. Staff of +0
Slot Two. Inkwell and quill
Slot Three. Wand of magic missile.

Strengths
Master of many spells: Rum is able to cast most spells, should he be able to read the spell book they are found in. This ranges from the simple magic missile to complex rites necromancers use to resurrect the dead as undead servants. Language barriers, and getting these books will be his main barrier between learning every spell there is, and only those in English.

Scribe: Rum is, with enough time, able to copy down spells onto scrolls. This costs him paper, and ink, of course. These scrolls can be used by anyone, no matter their intelligence or other such factors, however, unless told by Rum, or another wizard, one most likely will have no way of knowing what a spell does, until they use the scroll.
He can also create new copies of spell books, via rewriting them into blank books. This takes hours to do, however.

Wazhack Biology: Rum can leap, and run rather well, having near infinite stamina, as long as he has food to go along with it. He doesn't NEED to sleep, but doing so heals him. He also seems to be fine without water, as hunger is his only concern when it comes to bodily maintenance.

Arcanist: Rum is able to easily read most spell books from his dimension, and learn how to cast spells form said books with only a few minutes of reading for the first time, and then a few moments to refresh his memory later.

Weaknesses
Fast Metabolism: Rum needs constant food, lest he rapidly starve, a trope among many games of this sort. For example, he can, after a night's rest, go though an entire pie for break fast, and nearly a dozen full meals, lest he begin to grow hungry, and if not doing so for the next day, will begin to starve, his body wilting like a dying flower as it digests itself, desperately trying to keep him alive.

Weak: Rum's not able to lift, or carry much, before he starts to become encumbered. When encumbered, when he does move, time moves twice as fast, despite it only going at its normal pace for him, leading enemies to act like the flash, moving insanely fast to him. He becomes encumbered carrying more than 60 lbs of gear.

Frail: Rum is a wizard. They don't wear any armor, lest it interfere with their spell casting, and render them useless. As such, Rum risks being easily attacked, and killed.

Memorization: While able to learn from most any spell book, if Rum does not study his books daily, he will loose his magic abilities. However, he need a few seconds to do so, so this will most likely come into play with their destruction, rather than time problems.

These scrolls can be used by anyone, no matter their intelligence or other such factors, however, unless told by Rum, or another wizard, one most likely will have no way of knowing what a spell does, until they use the scroll. (This seems more like a Strength than an ability. If you're trying to make it an ability, then it needs to specifically do something. The spells that can be written need to be listed out if that's the case. If there is more than one spell that your character knows that causes an affect, then it is a general ability and you will have to acquire new spells with leveling.)

Slot One.

Special Abilities

Slot One.

Items

Slot One.
Slot Two.
Slot Three.

Strengths
Time only moves, when I move: Wazhack had, before Super...Hot, the quirk of when you didn't make a move, the game froze organically, allowing you to stop, and plot out your actions. As such, in most any situations, Rum will be able to plan what he does next, in great detail. Falling, swimming, or flying causes him to be stuck in normal flowing time, however, as well as being able to see something coming doesn't mean he'll be able to move to stop it, or do anything really, meaning while he'd be better at dodging, he won't be able to always avoid what comes next, many times having to grit his teeth in anticipation for that boot aimed at his nads. (This needs to be a General Ability, especially since you said the game no longer does this. This also isn't natural to the character. So it's going to be either this as an ability or the cat.)

(Companions are going to be a General Ability in this game. Because people more than likely use them as weapons. In this case, you're using the creature in such a way.)

Wazhack Biology: Rum can leap, and run rather well, having near infinite stamina, as long as he has food to go along with it. He doesn't NEED to sleep, but doing so heals him. He also seems to be fine without water, as hunger is his only concern when it comes to bodily maintenance.

Ok, reworked his cs a bit. I hope that's better, and in wazhack, a wizard can use any spell if he can read the spell book it's in. He doesn't gain spells as he levels, rather he gains spell power as he does. He does gain other things, such as the ability to tell the quality of his gear, finding more food on enemies, ext, which I figured could be his general abilities, while he just gains spells form spell books.

@supertinykingSo then I have another question...do you find this character practical? Let's say this RP lasts for a year and within that year you got your character to level 50, are you hoping to just make up 50 spells for him or 50 whatever, or are there actual spells that the game has cataloged up to a certain point? What I'm trying to ask is, does this character/game have enough elements to it that you won't complete the General Abilities in a few levels? Because if you run out of General Abilities for your character, I'm not going to let you BS spells. They have to literally come from his game (at least for the General Abilities part). If there are no set spells, and if there are not enough, then this character is not a good idea and I recommend you use a character from an actual game and not a mobile app game.

@Holy Soldier

There's many different spells in wazhack, and there's many different abilities he can gain, each one with three ranks.

Battle Wizard: Each rank reduces his penalty for casting magic in armor. Starts off with him being able to use lighter armors, second rank medium armor, and at third rank, allows him to wear heavy armors.

Magic Precision: Grants him a higher crit chance with magical attacks. 50% more at first level, twice as many at second, and three times as many at third.

Dweomancy: Grants him the ability to detect the level of his gear, and identify if items are blessed or cursed. Each rank reduces the time needed.

Nightmare Mode (Moddified from the original game, as it grants him more exp in exchange for taking more damage. Risk v.s Reward): Receives more damage, does more damage. First is 50%/50%. Second is 100%/100%. Third is 150%/150% more damage dealt/received

Commerce: Allows him to barter more effectively, cutting down the cost of equipment from vendors. Merchant sell for 25% less profit/services are that much cheaper, 50% less profit/cheaper services, 75% less profit/cheaper services.

Gastronomy: Allows him to find more food on the bodies of his enemies. 20% at first level, 30% at second, and 50% at third. It also grants him the passive of being able to eat foods with them hurting him at third rank.

Wizardry: Allows him to regenerate Mana 25% faster at first rank. 50% faster at second. 100% faster at third rank.

Literacy: At first rank, he can identify all spell books. At second rank, he can read all spell books, at third, all spell books and scrolls are identified.

I figured at every second level he could get a point to get one of these abilities.
To prevent power leveling of said perks, make it so, like in game, in order to put two points into a perk, you must spend another point on a different perk, and to allow a perk to be ranked up to 3, you must put 2 points into a perk.

These are his perks, pretty much ripped from the game. As such, we can adjust them if you need
