ThisWhere is an interactive non-liner "choose your own adventure" type of "RP" set in a foreign nation riddled with weirdness which loops feedback from a multi-user pool.
What?
In other words, an interactive fiction that takes into account the actions of multiple players. While each "player" exists in a separate time/space from one another, if a player reaches a new story fork before any other players the path they create would be the same path presented to other players. For example: If in event 1 you have four possible outcomes, if a player chooses and option that hasn't been traveled then that result would be the same result for every proceeding player making that same choice (with/without their knowing).
Again, ThisWhere is more of an interactive story than a roleplay, thus character creation isn't necessary on the player's part.
The setting is a fictional foreign nation ripe with everything strange and weird, from demonic entities, shady back allies, and hooligans in bunny costumes. The farther one travels into the nonexistent plot the more surreal things tend to become. There is no specific goal in ThisWhere other to experience each event and try to make heads or tails of the narrative lore.
I would prefer 4 players max on a drop in/ drop out basis. Once someone is sincerely interested we can get started as there is no requirement for waiting for other players since they will be on their own timeline.
*While is isn't possible to view other players actions from within the game, the "meta" part of ThisWhere kicks in, allowing you as a real person to read through other players progress/decisions as a non-partcipating observer. On the dirty, one might consider this to spoil or cheat the idea but with free-will and human error I think it's just enough to keep things interesting.
So then, what are we waiting for? The bus ride was tedious, and you haven't made up your mind if it's worth breaking the seal on the business card sized envelope sweating in your palm. Fate's a weird thing, in fact, lots of things are weird. Life's like that. It could be simple, yet that's rarely the case.
