Archie is a strange sort in term of appearance. When his powers manifested, they altered his physical form greatly. The process turned his skin a faint yellow, and most of his head into a luminous, floating yellow liquid, not unlike a lava lamp. How his cranial organs function remains a mystery to this day, but he is still very much capable of most basic human actions - eating, seeing, drinking, hearing, smelling, and even speaking. Other than all that, he is relatively normal build-wise. No muscle tone, no excess weight, etc. But he still covers up his entire body with jeans, turtlenecks, blazers, and a different mask just about everyday not because he is shamed by his natural appearance, but because he loves the one he’s made for himself so much.

Archie can be summed up pretty well by the word ‘eccentric’. He is almost always active, plotting something, setting up something else, you name it. In his interactions with others, it has been noted that his vocabulary has a tendency to shift from perfectly coherent to outright nonsense from time to time. Most aboard the Promise will say he has a great sense of humor, and is damn near impossible to anger. He is a man who isn't averse towards enterprise, philanthropy, and even the occasional wager. Arguably, his greatest trait is his sense of showmanship, as no undertaking of his could ever be described as half-assed, which is predominantly the reason why he’s made such a name for himself aboard the Promise. He is a friend to all who simply ask him to be, and is never one to back down from a challenge or promise.

Andrew Davis was born on July 15, 2058, in San Francisco, California. His life before his ascension to the Promise is perhaps as average as most in the same position, perhaps even more so. His powers manifested at the age of eighteen, but before that, he was a perfectly normal human child. Perhaps a bit of a recluse, actually. After he became what he is now, however, he tore down his old persona and constructed a new one for himself altogether. A wannabe architect, entrepreneur, and all-around well-known fun guy, wrapped in a bow that was the name “Archie”. Even before he was taken up to Promise, he had two years to figure out his powers - and by the time he was on his way up, he had it all figured out.

When they tested Archie for what level of inhibition should be placed on his powers, in a rather rare occurrence, they decided on none at all. He was free to build up whatever he wanted in his own little pocket dimensions. He breezed through his power training, and even made good relations with most of the faculty before all four years were up. To that end, he was invited to stay aboard the Promise to continue running the businesses he had established there - the several ‘challenge arenas’ as he calls them, and the Apothic nightclub which he has poured his heart and soul into.

Other

Archie’s power is, by far, one of the most unique recorded among metahumans. ‘Localized geometry manipulation’, as it has been officially labeled, is Archie’s ability to create entire worlds within something as small and insignificant as a burlap sack. How it works follows as thus - his head is the ‘focal point’, where when he is placed within an enclosed environment, he can alter its metaphysical properties to nigh limitless potential, without affecting its exterior. A single room can become a building, a duffle bag increased in size by a thousand fold, and much more.

Archie works with many materials, both solid and otherwise. Under his influence, he can multiply, expand, and carve literally anything out of any material he is given, so long as it remains within its respective pocket dimension. A block of cement can become an entire city. A drop of water can become an ocean. And beyond that, perhaps the pinnacle of Archie’s powers, is his ability to bestow sentience on any construct of his desire. It is not uncommon to see humans made of glass or gigantic creatures made of obsidian wandering within his dimensions, completely under his control.

Archie’s powers do not work in open environments. Everything he does is restricted to the enclosures he carries his actions out within, and only when no external changes have been made to the enclosure’s composition. If he takes a sack, and turns the interior of it into a massive environment, then ripping a hole in it from the outside will undo everything, and he’ll have to start over. If he takes any material and expands it in a dimension, then from that point onward, it is only capable of existing in that dimension. A chunk from the mountain of gold cannot be carried back outside, as it will simply vanish into nothingness at the door. In his worlds, he is all-powerful - but in the real world, he is no more capable than the average human being.

Uril is built like the Parthenon, though he doesn’t do anything to earn the muscle he appears to be sporting. It could be chalked up to being meta-human, but that’s probably not it. He looks stalwart, like someone you could trust to catch you if you fell from a mezzanine, and he would probably toss you back up there laughing all the way. No, not that strong. But he definitely looks the part: with a chiseled face and immense chest, he is completely dashing.

Uril is in the possession of a giant bumblebee, the size of a puppy, that is linked with his meta-human powers. This creature is mostly present on his back between his shoulder blades, clinging there, or perched around his shoulder area. It has been known to cause some uproar for those squeamish over insects. It has been tested thoroughly by researches however, and as it turns out, the bee is not technically an insect: it possesses Uril’s DNA in exact replica. So in effect, it is a detached part of him, functioning on it’s own, and appearing as an overgrown bee. Really overgrown.

Uril is very passionate about the emotions of everyone around him, and enjoys seeing people holding hands and such. He’s glad to be of help when he thinks a friend or acquaintance needs guidance, sometimes overstepping his bounds and attempting to advise them too much. He just hates seeing people make mistakes when they could have simply listened to him. He is overly sensitive to backlash or ridicule, and is also very prideful in his own abilities (whether it be his meta-human power or his smarts). He prefers to not be upstaged, though he recognizes when someone is freakishly better at something than he is (which has been known to happen aboard The Promise.)

Uril was taken aboard The Promise at a very young age, though he still receives pictures of his parents every week. They show off the things they typically do around the house, and he also gets to see them at work, since they both have careers in acting. Uril fancies acting himself but realizes how out of place it would be aboard The Promise: it’s hard to escape the feeling of sterility and being observed and summed up, and to jump into the skin of a character. Once he was reprimanded for smashing a security camera, when he discovered it had been recently placed in a stowed-away corner of The Promise that he enjoyed spending time in. Besides this he entirely gets along with his colleagues aboard the station.

Other

BOON OF THE POLLINATOR: Uril is able to send forth rays of golden dust from either his hands or his bee companion, “Officer Bee”. These rays are composed of unique independent enzymes and electrons, paired with biological energy cells, that allow them to land on a subject and begin to distribute themselves, healing them from the outside in. The rays travel at a very high velocity, slightly faster than that of an arrow shot from a modern compound bow, and make a very soft bell sound as they collide. They are extremely unlikely to miss even a running target, as the energy propelled enzymes will seek a living subject, guiding their trajectory. It is possible they can be intercepted by an unintended target, however. Beyond a certain amount of rays received, a subject being healed will be oversaturated, and will not be able to be healed any more rapidly. This means that while the Boon can keep a subject patched up, it cannot keep up with large amounts of sustained trauma. The Boon will however last on a target for almost an hour, glowing as it fixes up their skin and internal damage.

REFORM: By fusing together with his bee companion, Uril takes on a new form, and appears entirely monstrous. In this shape Uril appears as a hulking bee with some semblance of human physique left over, hunched and covered in matted hair thick with sparkling dust. He loses his ability to speak or the utilize the Boon, but the healing enzymes and energy begin to work overtime on keeping his body in perfect condition, resulting in rapid regeneration. This can assist him in such a dramatic way as the regrowth of lost limbs, those lost prior to transforming or during the adoption of the mega-bee form. His physical strength does not increase as a result of the shape change, and although wings are present on his back, they cannot be used to achieve extended flight, only to provide for dramatically lengthened leap distance. The stinger of his abdomen contains powerful venom, but is lost when a target is stung, leaving it embedded in them. It is Uril’s only mode of attack besides pinning an opponent down with his sheer weight in this form.

While Uril is at almost no risk of ashing, he can be made to suffer greatly from harm done to his companion bee. He is psychologically linked with the bee and can sense when it is in pain, immediately doing anything he can to remove it from danger’s path. This can result in him losing focus on an important task if his companion is threatened. If the bee is killed, Uril will suffer from being immediately stunned with loss, taking time to recover, then moving into a phase of grief afterward. Only after about a week is the bee able to be resurrected, with an additional week required if the body cannot be recovered, as Uril focuses his healing rays into crafting an entirely remade bee.
