The True Begining

Within a secure facility underneath the earth, several suspicious business men and a lone woman concealed in a black cloak are conversing. They each exchange glances hastily at each other, nervous about the news that was about to be brought before them. An elderly man coughed, gaining their attention as he pointed to a monitor showing bizarre statistics.

Ahem! Yes, well, now that I have all of your attention. Allow me to explain this scientific jargon you see before you. Slipping a pointer out from his left sleeve he instructed the gathered alumni. This graph here refers to the vocal power being used by an Idol... This here is their output level just as this one correlates to -- Before the frail man could finish. A man slammed his fist down, he was plump with dark black hair. Get to the point you blathering fool! There's money to be made, my star, Eriko is raking in the millions as we speak and I'd rather be in my mansion swimming in the truckloads of money that comes in through my back door.
The women in the cloak scoffed.

The frail scientist continued his rambling. Um, yes well you see... Eriko.. The plump businessman eyes widened. Eriko what?! The frail scientist looked away shyly as he delayed some grieving news. Eriko Amami has... Disappeared. Our number one defense against the B.O.D. and most popular Idol has effectively vanished off the face of the earth The gathering was in an uproar, aside from the cloaked women who stood in silence observing the madness that was unfolding.
Now if you would, allow me to finish my presentation of this data. Eriko disappered after performing a concert and rapidly being rushed off to fight off a B.O.D. During a Live, she performed her strongest technique, a burst skill. After that, we've been unabled to detect her presence anywhere on this earth. Our current conclusion is... She is ethier dying, or her vocal gem has cracked. It would be the only explanation as to why she has yet to return and why we can not currently track her.

The frail old man continued. To make matters worse, fewer and fewer people are able to safely converge with the vocal gems extracted from the Crystal. Numerous people are failing their initial audition. More and more missing person reports are arising, at this pace, we'll be unable to cover up the failures. The frail old man wryly scratched his forehead. On the upside, the few who are passing their Auditions, are some of the strongest we've seen in many years. We'll be hosting a concert for all the lower ranked Idols to appear, hopefully they'll be able to draw attention away from our current problems.

It's sudden and almost uncharacteristic. Normally jobs are sent to your manager if you have one, or you'll be contacted via a member of staff. But not so directly. You look at your phone, you've been registered for a major concert to be held soon in the center of the city. The top Idol to make it out on top, will have a boosted rank and earn an alluring prize. You can't refuse. Literally, you can't, you've already been registered for the event against your will and you can't back out, at risk of losing or disappointing the fans you have.

What will you do now? You should probably head over to the main concert hall and scope out the competition.

Ai Isukami

Interacting with: Erik and Amy (NPCs) --> Open for interaction

It had been three year since she had started living in Sacalonia and she has learned the language pretty quickly. She still refuses to use their language for her songs. She had started as a J-Pop artist and she will end as one as well. It didn't seem to bother the people though as they seemed to still love her songs. She knew others who sang in Japanese as well and she highly enjoys to listening to them. They may all be in a competition to get to the top ranks, but she still liked listening to the other idols. They were interesting after all and she'd like to meet some of them.

Back to Sacalonia, it was a great place. While she still longs to go back to the Land of the Rising Sun, her time here had been enjoyable. When she debuted as an idol here, she has gained quite a few of fans and she had been placed in the rankings. While she wasn't anywhere near the top, it was fine with her. She wants to enjoy it after all and she wants the audience to enjoy her performances as well. She earns enough as it is. She was eating, had a roof over her head, can buy clothing and pay for her mother's hospital bills. Just that was fine.

Currently, she was watching Nan Matsuura's latest performance. Ai was quite a fan of her even before she went to Sacalonia. She closed her eyes and she placed herself in a memory long since past. She attended as part of the audience for Nan's performance three years ago, just a little bit after she debuted here. Not many people knew her so she was able to get in without much of a fuss. Her voice, her movements, her aura, her skills - everything replayed itself vividly in her head as she listened to her music. It was no wonder that she was second in the ranks.

Once it was done, she opened her eyes and placed the headphones on the desk and then leaned back on the office chair she owned. Ai then reached for her phone and then noticed that she was registered for a major concert. She closed it again and then placed it back on the desk. After a few moments, her eyes widened and then reached for her phone once more, now more hurried, and then looked at the screen again. "A... concert? Did Amy place me here? No, she wouldn't do anything without saying anything to me..." She muttered to herself.

As if on cue, Erik and Amy arrived to her apartment. "Afternoon Ai, thought you might want Chinese food so I brought some." Erik greeted and then raised the plastic he was holding and then noticed the weird look Ai was giving to his mother.

Amy noticed this as well and raised a single eyebrow, "Something the matter Ai?" Ai tossed her phone towards her manager and she scrolled through it. Her eyebrows were raised once she was finished. Erik had taken a peek by looking over his mother's shoulder to read the contents.

"Hey, that's a pretty big concert." Erik commented before handing Ai the small box for her Chinese food which she dug in, despite the situation. Erik then took out his phone and began looking through something.

"I didn't sign her up for this though." Amy said before placing the phone down. "However, I think it's a good chance to up your rankings though."

Erik then showed the screen of his phone, "You can't exactly back down now too. Your fans are going nuts over it." She had a small group of pretty good fans that could borderline die hard. And they were already going off about how she was entered at such a big concert and how she'll probably shine just as much as the others and so on.

Ai rubbed the back of her head and then sighed, "I guess I'll go check it out then. Drop me?" She asked and then Amy nodded in reply. She quickly put on her outside clothing and then they all piled up to the car and then headed towards the main concert hall in hopes to see the other performers and maybe engage with a conversation with them.

She said her goodbyes to the two and then exited the vehicle. She looked at the main concert hall and then entered. Time to start some conversations and whatnot. They may be competitors but they were all in the same profession.

Interacting with: the manager (NPC), Zero (NPC). Speaking to Ai Isukami (@Polaris North)

Twang~, Twang~, Twang~...

Picking at the strings of his guitar delicately, Seung Jong mindlessly played a tune. What kind of tune? Well, he himself didn't know. Something he could give to his fans; maybe a song dedicated to them? Oh! What about a song dedicated to his brother? No, no... That wouldn't do. Zero hated having the spotlight on him at all times.

"Gah, this is hard!" whined the loud red-head, a hand reaching up to run through his hair. He quickly put the guitar on the side of his bed, flopping down onto the blue sheets and soft mattress. Then, curling his knees up to his chest, he rolled around over the bed, letting out small noises of anger and frustration. Oh, do not worry for him: this is how Seung normally takes out the stress building up inside of him.

He immediately stopped when he heard a familiar noise. Ring... Ring... Ring... He snatched his phone up from the bedside table, a bit too quickly and excitedly. What if it was his brother, calling from the phone at one of his jobs? He pressed the, "Answer," button and held the phone to his ear. "Zero, is that you?"

"How did you know?" laughed the older male from the other line. Seung's eyes visibly widened as he stood from his position on the bed. "How are you doing, little brother?"

"Other than being a bit stressed?" Seung sighed, playing with some loose thread on his sweatshirt. Before Zero could reply, he continued. "I mean, I get entered into this contest that I had no idea about, and my manager doesn't refuse! I'm not even sure if I want to do this! Even though my fans are going to be watching me... Cheering me on... I could get new ones, and-"

Zero's chuckle was heard, interrupting the red-head's ramblings. "Seung, don't worry about it. You've made it this far, haven't you? I'll be cheering you on, Father will be cheering you on, your whole fanbase will be screaming their heads off... Just do what you do best, and you'll be fine."

"But I'm up against so many people..." Seung walked over to the tv to turn it on, frowning at an old commercial he'd seen many times. But after a moment, he nodded his head in determination. "Whatever happens, I'm sure I'll do fine!"

"There you go, Seung! Now, I have to get back to work, so just go show them what you're made of! Bonzai!" Zero hung up, leaving Seung in the room by himself. He wasn't alone for long, though; his manager soon entered.

"Hello!" chirped the red-head in Engrish, his English not exactly perfect yet. Then, he went back to speaking in Korean. "Everything going alright?"

The manager shook his head. "I need you to go to the main concert hall. Now." At the puppy-like tilt of Seung's head, his manager sighed irritably. "The place where all the competitors meet up? I didn't think you were this dense. I want you to meet to competition, hopefully analyze some that you know you can blow out of the water. Be friendly, but not too friendly..." The man rambled on about what Seung should do or not do while he got ready.

"Yeah, yeah," muttered he, putting a hoodie that had a bear as the hood on, "I know the drill. Now, can I leave? I want to see if I know anyone there." The manager stared at him dumbfoundedly. He hadn't listened to a word he had said. "Well, I'm off now! See ya!" He stormed out the door and made his way to the hall.

Inside the Main Concert Hall, Sacalonia

Stepping into the hall, he smiled at everyone around him. Superstars, idols... They were everywhere! Though some have him a few disapproving looks at his choice of clothing, Seung batted the looks away and instead averted his gaze to those around him. That's when he saw Ai Isukami.

Not only did he meet Ai before today, he was a huge fan of her music. Who wouldn't be? She was a great singer! The Korean knew it would be difficult to beat her, but he also knew that they were on the same level of profession. He also liked having a challenge.

"Ai-chan~!" He waved his hand high above his head, his grin reaching from ear to ear. He ran over to her, bouncing a bit excitedly. "It's so cool to see you again! How have you been? Are you here for the competition, too? How is your mother doing?" The Japanese words spilled from his mouth, staring at her excitedly as he babbled.

Annabelle had been lounging around her hotel room when the message arrived. She hadn't started her day, and was planning where she would go to. She walked over to her phone, and picked it up.

A frown. A major concert competition? Why didn't they just give her the prize?

"Oh" she said to herself, chuckling. Of course, being on the stage against an artist like herself would help these other artists aspire to greatness! She was a role model after all!

It hadn't come from her manager though, which was very strange. She was also entered into it already. As she began to dress she thought about the poster, advertising the great Minami performing at Sacalonia. The crowds would be huge, it would be a sell out for sure! What a brilliant ploy from the booking agents, she would have to thank them.

Once she was fully ready, wearing a beautiful blue dress, she heads for the door, on the phone arranging for a car to take her to the concert hall. Minami was ready to entertain!

Arriving at the Concert Hall.

Some idols would prefer to travel quietly, not gathering any attention. Annabelle was not one of those idols. She anonymously tipped off the press about where Minami might be, and when she stepped out of the limo to the paparazzi she was at her performing best. Waving to those who had gathered, smiling, and walking towards the hall. Even a few autographs were signed!

She really was the best idol, if Minami would say so herself. The fanfare continued until she had entered, waving back to those gathered before pushing through the doors and into the building.

Inside the hall

Entering, she looked over those who had arrived. Curious who would be her 'competition' if such a thing could exist. She put a hand on her hip, looking over at two who were conversing. They looked somewhat like musicians, but not like producers. She continued to look over the room to locate a producer, if one was waiting for them. Of course, why wouldn't they be waiting for such a star like Minami to arrive?

Interacting with Manager Maya(npc) [Open for interaction]

*Ring Ring Ring*
2 things began ringing in the room.
The first was the alarm clock. But Law did not care to look at the time, knowing that it was well past when he should have woken up in the first place.
The second item was his phone, and he had a feeling it that this isn't the first time it has been ringing today. Law twists over to his phone reluctant to pick up, yet the 8 missed calls from his manager said otherwise.

"WAKE UP YOU IDIOT."
The harsh tone of a middle-aged women who's still looking for a boyfriend pierces through the phone.
"You have to get to the main concert hall or else!"
Manager Maya hung up leaving Law to ponder what the "or else" meant and with much effort (and yelling) he finally gets out of bed.

It doesn't take long to get ready, Law just throws on the cleanest shirt he has and heads for the door. He stops right before the entrance and looks into the hallway mirror.
"LOOOOOKING GOOD!!!"
Law screams into the mirror, he then slaps his face with a grin and walks out the door grabbing his shades and a hat to avoid being seen.

The apartment that he has been shacked up in isn't far from the main concert hall, and so he decides to walk there.
How can people be so blind?
He thought to himself as no one gives him a second look. Frustrated at how boring the walk is, he takes off his hat and sunglasses laughing loudly. It wasn't long before he was surrounded by fans.
What was supposed to be a 13-minute walk turned into an hour, Manager Maya was waiting outside the concert hall her arms were crossed and her eyebrows dug deep into her forehead.
"I knew I should have picked you up, what took you so long?" She began to yell but it turned into a soft sentence when she realizes that paparazzi was swarming the area.
"Ugh just get inside..." Manager Maya sighed and pointed to the door.
Law grinned knowing that he won this time. He paid no attention to the paparazzi hollering questions at him and asking to turn towards the cameras. Instead, he runs to the door. Opening and knowing that there were going to be other idols inside he roars,
"Who's ready to get their ass kicked?"

Ai Isukami

Interacting with: Lee Seung Jong (@sharksama)

Ai had been looking around like a child in a toy shop. While she had talked to some other idols before they left to scope some other competition. She swore that some of them left with sneering faces. She always did wonder why other competitors were too competitive. They do know that idols can be friends right? She rubbed the back of her head. Some even came in in fancy clothing - you'd expect them to burst out performing when it isn't even the competition itself yet.

She was just about to sit down and maybe think about leaving when she heard a familiar voice. Her eyes lit up and she turned towards the voice. "Seung!" She exclaimed before she was bombarded with questions by the older and undeniably taller male. It was amusing to see that he seemed to be the child compared to her but she didn't mind. She had met Seung a while before this. Like how the Korean male was a fan of hers, she was a fan of his. Before they even met, she had been listening to his performances and boy did he have a great voice.

With their eerily similar pasts, they got along quite quickly and soon became great friends thus leading to this moment. "Slow down Seung, one question at a time." She certainly appreciated him using her native language so she decided to reciprocate. "I've been good. Yes, I'm here for the competition. My mother's stable but she hasn't woken up yet. Was that all the questions?" She replied in quite fluent Korean. She had gone there for one of her tours and she didn't want to disappoint by not speaking their native language.

"And what about you? How have you been?" She paused for a while before adding, "So you entered the competition? I was just kinda placed in it." Ai admitted with a light chuckle. She turned to the doors which opened and saw another idol enter. She held herself with confidence and only gave her and Seung a sideways glance before proceeded to look for someone else. Her name was... Annabelle right? Yeah, right.

Before she could even turn back to Seung, a loud voice boomed throughout the concert hall. This one was... she didn't know who it was. Maybe he was from another theme. She wasn't well-versed with Rock and Metal, among other themes so she didn't listen to that much. Maybe Seung knew him, maybe not. Ai turned back to Seung, waiting for his answer.

Annabelle winces as the loudest man she had heard for quite some time comes charging in, milking off her attention brought in from outside. How rude!

She turns back to look at the man. Ugh, rock musicians. How are they even idols?

However Annabelle was in best behaviour mode, as she turn round with a polite smile to the man.

"Well hello there...forgive me I don't know you. I would assume from your introduction you are here for the contest? It's lovely to meet you, my name is Annabelle, or as you've more likely known me Minami."

Her voice was sweet, and she looked pretty. Tapping into her inner idol abilities made her seem even more appealing naturally.

Seung listened to her words, letting out a sigh of relief. He was glad that she was okay. It had been a while since the two last spoke. "Oh, thank God-" He stopped and squeaked at the sound of the screaming man. His head snapped to the voice, looking more scared than irritable. The 22-year-old looked more like a child for a moment. Law..? The Rock musician? He had heard of the guy; in fact, Zero's boss listened to him every once in a while. And was that Minami?!

Too many popular idols... Oh man, better get their autograph! His head snapped back to Ai's expression. ...Later. Right now, I need to speak with her.

A small smile creeped onto his lips, velvet eyes gleaming with a child's innocence. "Whoa! We'lol be competing against each other! All right!" He silently threw a fist in the air to emphasize his excitement. "Your Korean is fantastic, by the way. When did you learn to speak my language?"

He let out a soft chuckle at her questions."Ah, how am I doing?" He clicked his tongue in thought. How was he doing? He was stressed, most certainly, and a bit overwhelmed with all this competition and whatnot. Confused would be a good answer. "I'm... A bit nervous, if I can say that... I mean, we're up against people as famous as those guys-" The red-head gestured to the two others currently conversing, a small and worried frown adorning his face.

"I mean, I know I'll do my best, and you'll certainly do great, too. You're a fantastic singer, in my mind. Just those two have been in the running longer than we have..." Seung mentally gave himself a slap in the face, shaking his head furiously. "Gah, never mind that! We'll do great, and I'll be cheering you on, okay? Ai-chan will do fine! In fact... I'm sure everyone here will do great! He gestured once more to the whole concert hall, a wide smile on his face.

Seriously, Seung's enthusiasm was very refreshing. It was also why she likes his presence - it makes everything ten times better. She knew that every idol in here was in the competition, but she didn't feel the least bit nervous, not now at least. It was because of the air around him. He was very energetic and excitable, it's hard to become extremely nervous with that kind of guy around you. "I'm looking forward to your performance Seung and we'll see who's better." She said with a smile on her face. There was no animosity, rather it was filled with excitement. She loved competing with others who have fun in performances, and Seung was one of those people.

He then proceeded to comment on her Korean which made her blush a little, though it was more like out of joy than out of embarrassment. This usually happens when she gets compliments face-to-face, and from her friends no less. Ai let out a small laugh and replied, "I was heading out to South Korea for a small tour. My manager had a friend there and they sent me there to sing. I didn't want to talk through a translator so I... learned Korean. After that, it just became a hobby." After the whole basic Korean teachings from Amy's friend and then she just continued it from learning in the internet. It was a nice time passer when she wasn't attempting to compose a song with Erik.

Then Seung launched into how he was actually nervous about the whole thing because they were up against some other famous people. And then he proceeded to pep himself, and her, and others up. She offered him the brightest smile she could muster and said, "Yeah Seung, we'll both do fine. They may be famous but you know, we're idols too! We can do this and I promise I'll cheer you on too." To think that Seung was more nervous than her when he was way ten or so ranks above her and he has some years on her. She daresay that she was one of the younger idols here. She was never one to be nervous before the performance, but at the moment she steps up on stage is the moment she gets nervous. But of course, she turns that nervous energy into something that would help her in the performance.

Igor was practicing on the guitar it was a slow gentle tempo until he made a mistake and he stopped. He checked his twitter, reading some of his fans post. His most recent photo of his idol self was doing quite good with its likes and shares. It was a slow increase from the last few days, but it was still a increase. He started the practice up again. It was a routine, while he practiced. One round of practice, interact a bit with your fans over the media, repeat a few times. His phone rung with his favorite song announcing he had a text, causing him to make the same mistake on the same note.

That was how he discovered he was sign up for a concert, he didnt have a manager yet, which only increased his confusion how he got in to begin with. It was too good of a promotion to say no, and he was gonna definitely reach out a lot more people if he attended.

Igor, preferred not to let the world know who he was behind the idol name. It was one of the reason he was having blond long hair instead of dark brown long hair. Color contacts instead of his glasses and viola no one could recognize him. Added with the different attitude, not even his collage friends put one and one together. The only people who knew were the nurses and doctor who was taking care of Sara. They made sure to never let his sister miss him when he appeared on television. For now at least the good people were keeping his secret a secret.

At the concert hall were just as many people as he awaited. He spend quite a bit time allowing the photos to be taken of him, making a few poses here and there. Making sure his body would be shown in its best light. Like always the paparazzi attention snapped onwards to the next arriving idol, and Red simple walked into the main hall, flipping his hair back.

There were quite a few interesting people already. Some he knew from their music some he only knew over the rankings. Igor would have simple minded his business but Red was not like that. Red walked with a easy step to the highest ranking idol he spotted.

"Hello there. If I am not drunkenly dreaming I am seeing Minami. Its will be great experience measuring my own skills against yours." He turned his head to the other guy there, it took him a few moments before he connected the face. "And you are the rock idol Law, right? You have quite a good beat going. I myself was debating if I should try something in the direction of rock ballads."

Main Concert Hall, Sacalonia

Jessica Rothgeb, better known as Jess Avery to her fans, smiled as she took in the concert hall that she had been directed to. It was certainly impressive, larger than most of the venues that she had performed in before. Though given that many of her own performances had merely been on the street she supposed that it wasn't that much of a shock. Well, the street, bars, subway stations, anywhere they would let her play really. If she made it to a stadium or concert venue, so much the better.

But she really had to hand it to Greg, her manager. She didn't know how he had wrangled it, but she was here now in Sacalonia, for what had been touted as a worldwide idol competition. She didn't really expect to win, but just the opportunity to be here, to make music with all these talented people and put on a show? That was the opportunity of a lifetime, and something she wouldn't ever miss or forget.

Of course, she couldn't forget her priorities. Pausing near the entrance of the building, Jessica fished her phone out of her pocket and booted up the camera for a well framed Selfie. She herself was dressed in fairly casual wear, slightly weathered jeans,a black t shirt, and a light blue overcoat to go with it. On her back was a more weathered instrument case, and she flashed a smile for the camera so everyone could see where she was, and some of the other idols in the background. With the photo taken, it was simple to upload it to her social media and website with a quick caption. 'In Sacalonia for the big show. So many famous people here! Wish me luck. :) '

With that done she put her phone away before turning to the actual event. People were chatting, warming up, and after a thought that seemed like a good idea. An instrument had to be properly maintained after all, even if she wasn't going to be immediately performing. So sh began to wander the hall, looking for an open spot that had not yet been claimed where she would be able to practice a bit. This was going to be a lot of fun, she was sure of it.

As soon as Law finishes his battle cry he quickly scans the room for idols and their reactions.
As he expected it was a mix of confusion and terror (or irritation but he'd rather not think that).
There were already a few idols gathered here, some he knew because of their popularity others not so much.
He snickers to himself knowing this competition won't be easy but it won't be boring.

An idol with lavender hair turns around and greets him. He instantly knew who she was and that it was probably her that attracted all the paparazzi to the concert hall. After she introduced herself as Minami he immediately closes his eyes and starts to stroke his chin. After a few seconds, his eyes pop open so wide it was as if they were trying to escape.

"Ah sorry it took me awhile to remember who you were!" Law lied through his teeth to Minami. He was hoping to get a reaction out of her since it might irritate her and seeing that would be interesting.
Before she can reply back Law cuts her off,
Don't be so scared of what I said earlier. I don't intend to kick your butt that hard.
Law grinned at her, trying to see if she will react negatively.
But again before she can reply, a relaxed voice cuts through the conversation.
It was Red Vino who greeted both Minami and Law.
"Ah Red Vino stop you're making me blush!" Law joked, though he isn't a fan of mushy music he can respect a good voice when he hears one.
"Oh and you're pronouncing my name wrong."
There was a dead silence as both Minami, Red, and anyone overhearing the conversation were all trying to figure out how else you would pronounce Law.
"It's pronounced LAW, you're suppose to scream it everytime you say it aloud! Try it!" His voice boomed throughout the room once more as he teaches Minami and Red the right way to say his name.

Annabelle laughed as the man spoke. It wasn't a mocking laugh, more a polite humoured laugh.

"Of course! Please accept my sincere apologies, I imagine the names of idols like myself don't often circulate around your groups. Law is it? A pleasure meeting you" she gave him another smile, before turning to the other mam.

"You are not dreaming, I am Minami" a sweet smile and a nod of her head "pleased to meet you! I d9 sign autographs" she winked at him and laughed "it will be an interesting competiton, no?"

The Rank Up Rally!

Majority of the Idols had gathered in the arena. The place was swarming with fans trying to get to their favorite idol. Some of the idols were using this as free publicity to hopefully boost their rank in the long run. Whilst this was a good strategy it may or may not make much of a difference, it all comes down to how well they'd perform during the concert being prepared for them. To address all of the participants, a well known Idol appeared on a large monitor before them.

Konichiwa! Salaam! Bonjour and How'dy! It's me! Amami-chan! But I'm sure all of you already knew that!~ The girl on the screen was none other than the top Idol herself. Ranked first on the big screen, Eriko Amami. The many fans began to cheer for her, even some of the idols couldn't help but crack a small smile. Eriko is the first person to successfully merge with a vocal gem. The first to manage besting a B.O.D. in a live. She's essentially a walking god among idols. In some cases, people aspire to be just like her, so they become idols themselves. Ahah! So as you can all see, I'm still in my training clothes, the Idols you'll see performing are training hard to be their very best like me! So give them all your support during the concert! The amass of fans cheered for the girl. Raising their hands in the air, making peace signs just as Amami does at the end of every performance she does. Aww! I have the best fans ever! Goodness, I think I can hear you all from my training room! Ahaha~ The idol laughed for a moment then retained her composure. I'm sorry to do this, but I need to address the participants in private, so all you fans will have to leave, sorry about this!

At the end of her sentence, a song began to play. It was one of Eriko's signature songs, 'I Want' It began to play through the speakers, there was a loud cheer for Eirko and her song as fans began to sing along... They then, began to flow out of the arena, ignoring the idols there, as if they were under some sort of mind control. They began to chant Eirkos' name as they dispersed from the arena. The large monitor turned off as the music continued to play. The doors automatically closed and locking sounds could clearly be heard, the music was shut off and three people appeared before the Idols there. Two tall men and a single woman was with them, she was only slightly shorter than them.

The first man stepped forward. Hiya! You guys~ We're your coaches for this concert, we're past idols ourselves! Ahahaha! His squeaky voice and lax attitude gave off the impression he was unreliable. Ya can all call me Coach D! D for Dance! It was sudden, but he realized how strange 'Coach D' sounded, so he quickly dashed behind one of the other coaches hiding his blushing red face.

The woman stepped forward, she was nervous and unsure of herself. Constantly adjusting her glasses. Uuum... He-Hello! Everyone! It is nice to meet you! I. I' am.. Sorry, My name is Coach V! V for Vocal! I look forward to taking you all under my wing for the time being! She stepped back into line. The last of the three also stepped forward. He was the tallest of the three and had a serious look permanently paint upon his face.

Greetings. I am Coach I, I for Image, because V was already taken. The man turned his head to look at the female coach. She laughed quietly to herself. The man Bowed. We will now read out the roster. Many names are to be called out, the idol who is called shall received a coloured arm band and will be directed backstage to a team room where you can all chat among yourselves for a short time. We will then address you and work out some minor details. The concert will work as such. A live between teams. The thirty of you will be split apart and paired with someone. They will be your partner for the live you participate in, there can be only two idols standing at the end of each live. Meaning; at least ten of you will perform the final live, a battle royal as it were, to see whom is the number one idol among you. The team colours are as such; Red for Vocal, Blue for Dance and Yellow for Image. So, who is placed where? Well let's find out.

Seung smiled. Who was better? They'd have to find out on the stage. But... He wasn't sure that was the case. "Well," he began slowly, contemplating on his words before he spoke again. "I don't think it's who's better, but maybe who's a great idol? Whatever." The smile returned from his confused expression.

The red-head tilted his head. Wait, when was she in South Korea? This was probably when Seung was in Japan, recording a few songs and concerts. "Ah! That must have been exciting! Wish I were there to see it..." He squinted his eyes and pursed his lips. "I haven't been back there in a while, what with all this idol work. But I check up on my family by phone every once in a while! They're doing great!" He laughed fullheartedly, eyes bright and full of excitement.

"We are idols, aren't we!" The man chuckled once again, running a hand through his hair. "Man, this is too surreal... I forget sometimes that I'm an idol when I see other people. But I just have to remind myself, 'Seung Jong, you are an idol.'"

Seung stopped once he heard a familiar voice. Eriko Amami. He stared at the monitor and half-listened, dazed by the fact that they were actually seeing Eriko. He grabbed Ai's shoulder and turned to her, a surprised and happy look on his face. "T-That's Eriko Amami!" His eyes shone like a child's. He listened more, than heard his name called out.

Oh. It would seem he was on Team Vocal. With three other people. And they'd have to eventually battle each other during a live? This wasn't going to be easy for Seung. He slowly approached Coach V, giving her a small smile as he received his red armband. Then, he seemed to prance off in a certain direction, then stopped. He had no idea where the backstage area was! He turned his head towards his teammates, silently begging for someone to show him the way.

Interacting with @sharksama, Coach V

"Wow! Wow! Things are sure getting interesting!" Law exclaimed as his name is called out.
Law walks over to Coach V and grabs an armband from her.
"I should have been a dancer, red is not my color." He winks at Coach V and puts his armband on.
"U-uhm I'm sure you'll be fine..." Coach V tries to reassure Law.
Law chuckles for a second and puts a hand on Coach V's head,
"I'm just messin with ya! Looking forward to learning a lot!" He gives her a thumbs up and turns to his fellow teammates.
There was suppose to be a staff member to direct them to a team room but I guess they were still waiting on everyone's name to be called.
How boring... Law wanted this to be over already. He turns and notices an idol with bright orange hair looking lost, probably waiting to head backstage as well.
"They called out the name Seung right? I think that's his name" Law pondered but ends up walking over to him waving.

"Oi! You're Seung right? No use waiting on the others I know the way! (I think)."
Law starts walking in a random direction, determined to find the team room without any help from staff. He doesn't really care if that Seung guy will follow or not. After all, making friends isn't his top priority.

Interacting with @Pudding (and briefly with @TalijaKey)

There was a bit of a chuckle as the competition rules were read out. So she'd have to end the dreams of so many other idols? That seemed a little unfair from the organizers, but it wasn't her place to question it.

She let Law walk off. He likely needed to arrange for coaching to have any chance in the contest anyway.

She placed a hand on Igor's shoulder, giving him a smile.

"Forgive me, but I think I had best meet with the Coaches. I'll be around for awhile, so we'll hang out later ok? Good luck" she winked at him before walking towards Coach I, a smile on her face and a hand on her hip.

"Well Coach I, aren't you the lucky one? You get to work with me, Minami. So, what's next coach?" she accepted her armband, slipping it onto her wrist

Before Jessica got far enough along to actually begin tuning her instrument, she found herself interrupted by a voice from the large monitor. The face there was familiar, and she joined the others in smiling as she paid attention to what was being said. If it was coming from Eriko then it was probably important. Then again, given the situation she probably would have listened anyways.

She held still as the fans departed the room, leaving the idols alone. Even though she understood why, and knew it was only for good, she couldn't help but get a chill at the sight of so many people leaving in unison like that. It was just creepy to her, that's all.

With them gone a trio of individuals appeared, indicating that they were coaches who seemed to focus on specific areas. If the weird names they had were any indication to her. With that they went about explaining what was going on here, much to her surprise. So it was some sort of competition then, to determine who the best idol was? Unorthodox, but she supposed she was game for it. How bad could it be?

That in mind she made no effort to take out her stuff, instead waiting until her name was called. She stepped up and took an armband before heading backstage for her team room. This was definitely going to be interesting, that was for sure.

Interacting with:

Ai placed her hands inside her pockets as she listened to Seung. Before she could even reply, however, the screen lit up and... and... "E-Eriko Amami!? Her surprise was much like Seung's. Her number one idol may be Nan Matsuura, but Erika Anami was no doubt on par with her! She is the rank one idol in all of the world and Ai knew she deserved the title. She listened intently to what she was saying but it was basically just her telling the fans to exit the premises.

She then looked at the Coaches. Ah, so they'll be split up in teams huh? Seung was first up to be called and he was placed in vocal. Oh yeah, she could tell why. Then the other idols were called and then it came to her. Oh, she was placed in vocal too? Considering that they'll be competing, she became quite nervous. Oh well, just time to do her best.

Ai headed for the group and saw the man that had been screaming earlier interacting with Seung. She flashed him a quick smile and then waited for someone to help them to get to the team room.

Interacting: Coach V(NPC), open for interaction

Location: Backstage room for V

They should scream law, to get his name right. Red chuckled, saying that made him think several jokes he could make, but before anything could be said the screen lit up and Eriko, appeared. Everyone knew her, a living legend. Quite quickly and easily with her music alone the fans all left leaving only the idols behind.

A amazing abilty, Red thought to himself, and just as the music stopped the coaches arrived. Explanation were given the structure of the concert revealed. Pairs, that was the most important piece to Red. The clever ones would make the pairs inside their group, to boost their chance for the win. Choosing with who you would go out on stage was probably the greatest challenge, someone who would have you back but someone who one thinks they can defeat in the finals. Quite tricky.

One name after another was called and Red Vino patiently waited his fingers undoing his cravat. Then came his turn.
"Red Vino team Vocal." The woman said and he approached the coach allowing her to put the red band around his arm.

"Well thank you. Oh if you allow." Red spoke to the couch noticing her glasses slid a bit off again. As a glass user in his normal life, he easily spotted it. Leaning closer to her face he used both his hands to gently push the glasses up. He lingered for a moment longer there with a charming smile of his own. "A nice eye color you have." He complimented her, and added the question where to go for the backstage room. Which the V coach pointed the way out and Red thanked her and simply moved and and started walking towards the backstage area.

Seeing several of the other vocals, standing somewhere and waiting. He shrugged and moved his blond hair out the way as he went into the backstage room himself. It wasnt his duty to help people who managed to get lost, maybe they miss something important and that would mean less competition. Thought he doubt it would be that easy. Once inside the team room Red used one of the mirrors to bind his cravat up again, waiting.
