Background: Dolan Holland was born Dylan Holland to a small family in a quiet, suburban town in the northeast United States. While his life was relatively peaceful, the main conflict in his early life was the absence of a father, who had died in a construction accident shortly after his first birthday. Thus left him, his mother, and his 8 year old older brother. When Dylan was 10 he got into Digimon, but it was only a minor interest. When Dylan was 15, he discovered a manga which he read online about a young boy who's kindness and resolution allowed him to achieve his dreams and bring peace to his city. He started going by the name Dolan Holland to reflect the naming scheme of the protagonist, and occasionally would attend conventions dressed up as him. Dolan's world was rocked when he turned 17. His mother died of a sickness she had kept secret from both her sons, suddenly and silently, and Dolan had to move to California to live with his brother.

After his mother's death, Dolan's personality became a caricature of the manga hero, and he began to play Digimon much more intently. Now at the age of 18, he's become quite skilled at video games, and though he recognizes the death of his parents, he rarely confronts it. He's discussed with his brother, that in reality, the Dylan Holland personality is still in control, but he takes the Dolan character as a conscious distraction from his tragedies, and also in hopes that others find him amusing. Also, yes, he actually does his hair up like that. He wakes up at 4, and finishes his hair at 6.

Personality: Considering the flaws in Dolan's personality, Anna might be just about the only thing keeping him safe. While Do would rather stand around and entertain people, Anna is a taskmaster who makes sure jobs get done when they need to. They compliment each other rather nicely.
