@alexfangtalon@December

Harley and Grayson just got back and she had to go do some stuff so he is free at the moment. She left him just inside the main doors.

Oops, Sorry @Oliver!

@Wick I actually wondered if it was based on my image, but then realized that the picture I used could never even be mistaken for a twenty year old much less a forty year old person :P

I am okay with exceptions, they can make things all sorts of interesting! Hey wait, if no other 10 year old survived... oho... Then little Levi is something special ain't he. I need to check what his powers are again. Ooooh, the poison immunity could work for that. Hehe.

I dunno if he'd be much of a buddy. Robert's anti-social, and unlike me, he doesn't have a chatterbox manic mode!

@Wick.

I could give it a try, I guess.
Just as a warning, though. I'm not 15 yet. I'm 13 and only by like 3 months, and I have a couple of mental issues on top of that which make me less emotionally mature than most of my age peers (This is why most of my characters are my age or younger.) It might be a bit awkward to have a character be written by someone who's cognitively much less developed than they're supposed to be.

@Oliver Oooh, me too! me too!

It's why I've always been more comfortable with people younger than me by a couple of years.

People are people, some 15 year olds are super immature, some 7 years olds are wise beyond their years. Age is but a number. Some of it's also due to the place you grew up and culture/expectations, so. Whatever!

Nevermind keep him as he is. It's ok. I already accepted him as 10 so we'll go with that. I don't want you to be uncomfortable writing in here.

So how exactly does time work in this RP? I was reading through some of the more recent posts, and it seems like everyone's kind of on their own timeline. How does this work in regards to interaction?

@Oliver

I post the day and time on my posts and if you are later to post you might mention what time it is/was in yours.

We are all on the same day. With the holidays it was a little tougher on the time part.

Yeah, but some people are on completely different times it looks like, and it seems to move really fast. Like in this post it was 8:00 AM on day 6, but then in the same post it was simultaneously 10:30 PM the previous day and 7:00 AM the previous day. Then, in the next post, it's 6:11 on day 6. So we've gone back and forward in time no less than 4 times in the span of just 2 posts. And it just gets crazier from there. How the hell are you supposed to interact with anyone? Are we even in the same reality? I don't get this system at all.

@Oliver Maybe I can help with that. Since we all live in different timezones and our schedules are so different some people get left behind. The ones who get left behind post what happened in sorta catch up posts. For that first post you mentioned 8:00PM and 10:30PM are Kyrisse stating what happened with those characters at that time so people know what happened during that time. Think of them like flashbacks. 7:00AM is what time it was for those characters last time they were posted for. Similar for the other post you mentioned.

Oh, I think Kyrisse might have mislabeled that 7am post involving Robert. Robert was passed out and didn't leave his room until Day 6, pretty much.

Technically it should have been in chronological order, I'm pretty sure. 8am on Day 5, then 10pm on Day 5, then 7am on Day 6.

It's not simultaneous, it's just a way around making three posts instead of one, I suppose you could say. I think Kyrisse was behind on her interactions, and was just trying to wrap them up super quick.

As for the time on the next post, it's supposed to be 11am on Day 6.

Anyways, as was mentioned before, some of us are kinda doing catch up posts so it's a bit like a flashback.

Some of us kinda missed the bus to the next day or time. (For example, I was late on my post for the timeskip from day 2 to the morning of day 5.) Since we missed the bus and the rest of the tour group is going on, we jump on the next bus we can catch and rush through everything until we catch up to the rest of the tour group.

There is, in fact, a reason that I keep things vague and don't bother with time other than a generic: "Day X: <morning, noon, afternoon, evening, night>" sort of scheme.

I'm not organized enough for specifics, and I don't want to break my brain trying to figure out proper timelines XD

Day 5, 7:00 AM

Interacting with: @Aeternum

It was nice seeing people with a healthy glow for once. The roasted pork Audrianna had served the night before had definitely lifted everyone's mood and she could only hope that it'd be that good every day. She looked at the remaining meat from the night before and was sure that everyone wouldn't mind eating it again this morning. Maybe a good sauce to go with the meat? She nodded to herself and then went into the kitchen to fix something up before people started filing in for the morning. A few minutes later and she was carrying out a bowl of brown gravy she made using a piece of the pork, some soy sauce she had been saving up and a few spices. She would have loved to make some bread to go with the pork but she didn't have any ingredients to make some.

Oh hey @Kyrisse, I just realized, this probably should have been Day 6 rather than Day 5. Thank @Oliver for that, if I'm right.

Did she? Hm... I see, I didn't even notice the typo earlier :P

I kinda skim posts and only look at the time if it's relevant to my own postings XD

(i.e. they responded to me at 7am, it is morning when I make a response. Therefore, if we're having a meal it's probably breakfast and people are sleepy. Unless there are a lot of people who don't sleep in, there probably aren't going to be too many people in the cafeteria. If it's noon, there'd be a lot of people, probably almost everyone.)

@December

I wasn't sure how you wanted to handle the getting back to the bunker thing so I kind of just had her run off to handle her responsibility for the reservoir and then the "Drain" hit her and she is out cold. I'm assuming someone will either take her to her room or take care of her or get the commander if all else fails.

Still doesn't explain why the post jumped back an hour and a half from where it first started. Or why the next post is set even earlier.
I don't know if I can keep up if the timeline is going to be this confusing.

I'm a little confused too. Not so much by the twisty timelines, but about what to explain, how to explain it, and what specifically you are looking for (I can kinda think of a few things you want to know or might want explained).
