Personality: Usually quite friendly and talkative but can be a bit quiet and unintentionally sneaky. Kai can get along with many people but his silent sneak ups and surprise appearance gets him nearly attacked and yelled at. His a curious individual so he has a bad habit on spying on others.

History: Kai grew up in the slums where he had to nearly hustle for everything he needed. He lost his father to a drug deal gone wrong and his mother from overdose but his 2 older brothers took care of him until they deserted him and left him with a loan shark to raise him.

Through the tough raising and training Kai went through, he became a debt collector for the loan shark, "Retrieval expert"(thief), and underground fighter. Working in the professions he was in, it at times required Kai to travel when he incidentally ran into the military who were escorting people to the bunkers, adding him with the group so to survive the asteroid collision.

After the passing of that event and he along with many others were able to leave, he was one of the ones that got sick for several days where his body was adjusting to the cell change in his body, allowing him to gain a power that activate from getting chased by a feral bunch and nearly falling to his death from jumping one building to the next but unfortunately didn't jump far enough and collided with the side of the building and noticed he was sticking to the wall. from there....the rest is going to be history.

Abilities: Capable of floor tilting (stick to the ceiling or walk on the ceiling.), super leap (can jump several yards to half a mile with effort), wall crawling and running, water walking, self levitation.

Weakness: Tends to get dizzy and light headed from constant usage for a long period of time, especially in levitation.

Kind, bubbly, and loving. Nina cares for life itself. She's self sacrificing if it meant helping others to benefit. She's a little flirtacious as well. Nothing upsets her more than bullying and seeing people she care for, get hurt.

History:

She was usually the quiet one in school and pretty much throughout her youth as she at times was to herself. She always wanted to help people and animals and by the time she got out of high school, she wanted to become a Biologist. She went to school for a few years and started her internship not too long ago. Around this time was went the asteriod threatened the life on earth, bringing a halt to her goal and at that time, lost her parents and 3 sisters. SHe lost her family but since being in the bunker, she found a place with the people she's gotten to know in the past year.

Abilities:

Allows the user to manipulate the growth of any plant life and manipulate the movements of the plant life as well. The user can cause even seeds to sprout and use plants (flowers, vines, and leaves) to attack with. This allows her to enhance the plant she's manipulating. The user can user botanical communication and plant empathy. She has the potential to bring about vegetation.

Weakness:

There has to be a form of plant life within a 20-25 ft. radius in order for her to control it. No plants, no power. Being that she has plant empathy, if a plant that she's controlling and pretty much have connected with gets damaged, she feels the damage too mentally which could cause her to break down crying, mentally worn, and panicked despite her not taking any physical damage herself. Rage can come about when a plant she's manipulating gets destroyed.

Sight- allowing to see with amazing clarity/detail, distance, or color.

Hearing- Can hear with amazing clarity, distance, and even frequencies outside normal range. Users ears can pick up every single sound, can decipher layer upon layer of differing sounds/conversations, and locate the source of noise.

Smell- Can detect specific persons, objects, substances or even places, locate their origin and track targets with nothing but their nose.

Taste- Allowing to sense both harmful and beneficial things through taste. can also taste the chemicals in the air as opposed to using his mouth to making physical contact with something in order to sense said harmful and beneficial things.

Touch- User may be able to sense vibrations through solid substances, liquids or even the air-pressure changes.

Weakness:
Sight- When used too much, the eye can strain and possibly cause temporary blindness

Hearing- Ears can be too sensitive and have a hard time turning off all the sound causing a headache. Depending on the sound and sensitivity, the user can become temporarily deaf.

Smell- With the nose being very sensitive, if a smell is way too strong, it can cause the user to feel nauseous if he's not controlling his ability right.

Taste- Depending on what he tastes, he could lose feeling in his tongue or lose taste temporarily or will lose taste in certain flavors.

Touch- If not used sparingly, the sensitivity of his skin could be so great that he could feel pain or irritation from the slightest breeze of even if a fly landed on his skin.

Harley is a very intelligent and resourceful young woman who focuses on the important stuff most of the time. She is practical but in all reality she is still just a normal girl who likes men, convenience, luxury and cars. Known for her love of animals and caring for others she is very responsible for her age. Harley will defend herself and protect those she loves and cares about selflessly. There is a ruthlessness to her sometimes that others can be afraid of.

History:

Harley was raised in the United States with most of her family. She had a normal childhood. Her father was a geologist and her mother was a marine biologist. She had been working as an assistant to the trainer at the dolphin exhibit at the aquarium near her home. After she graduated high school she decided to backpack across Europe before starting college for Marine wildlife. She had some family in Italy and had gone to see them before flying home.

Harley was on the side of the road walking when she was stopped by a military vehicle and made to get in. She was taken into a bunker with a lot of other people. When she was told what was going on they had serious trouble keeping her inside until it was locked down. A year later they opened the outer hatch and they were allowed to leave.

Once outside the bunker people started gasping for air and dying. Others got sick. The ones who were sick like Harley underwent physical changes. In her case she was shocked to find that she could suddenly create and manipulate water out of thin air.

She is capable of using water as a barrier, a flood, in small amounts or in large. She can stop a flood or move the water that is already there. She can pull water out of the air if it is there. (Humidity)

Weakness:

Extreme heat will cause her power to weaken her as will injuries. If she uses her power too much she will get severe headaches and become nauseated and weak.

While laid back by nature he is very responsible. The entire bunker episode was something he didn't count on nor want. He was used to working with military but not dealing with so many civilians. He feels guilty about all of the deaths because he got the power to heal AFTER most of the people died. It eats at him and he will do his best to keep everyone else alive.

History:

Cody was a little nerdy in school and joined the military as soon as he turned 18. He seemed to find his way in there and he focused his military training in the sciences and was able to help with the bunker projects. He had no idea that it would one day be him and a few others actually trying to remake the world. His parents died in a car accident when he was 25, while he was overseas. Without family he was the easiest person to be assigned to the bunker projects.

History:

Casey had just started waiting tables at a nightclub/bar a couple of weeks before the asteroid hit. She was thrilled because they had a lot of great newer bands that were up and coming playing there. In her mind it was like going to free concerts every night. It was the day the asteroid hit that she found out about her mother's death. Casey had gone to work the night before and had checked on her mother when she got home. Her mom had had a rough time with the cancer but they had expected that she might not live through the chemo and radiation since it weakened her system so much.

Casey had gone to bed and when she woke up she heard her mom coughing and she popped in to let her know she was going to the store. As soon as she saw her mother's face she knew she wouldn't be alive when she got back. This worry made her stay and was the only reason she got to say goodbye to her. She had stayed and sang to her mother til she passed. Casey handled the arrangements and then she went out so the coroner could take her mother. She had went for a walk at that point. She couldn't see that, she just couldn't.

While she was out walking a military jeep almost ran her over and instead they pulled her in and yelled a bunch of information at her. She didn't hear most of it. Her mind was focused on her own world that had just shattered.

Lydia spent her early years in a very conservative Chinese American household. She kept herself busy whilst growing up, with multiple after school activities, homework assignments, music recitals, and extra chores at home. In other words; Lydia was quite the over-overachiever. Her parents were only just slightly proud as their one and only "sorta" talented child became Valedictorian of her high school graduating class of over 1,400 students, and was granted several scholarships to high qualifying universities across the country.

Early to rise and early to bed, makes a girl healthy.. but socially dead.

Lydia found this statement to be true quickly out as she started into her university of choice. Her three dorm mates often ignored her and just assumed that the girl would not want to go out with them even if they asked. They never ask. Depression, loneliness, and anxiety overwhelmed Lydia only a few semesters in to her degree. It was at this time, Lydia began thinking more morbid about life's meaning and her self worth. What was the point?

She decided she needed a redo.

She bleached her hair, tatted up, and told everyone that had ever doubted her to kindly fuck off.

After finishing her degree she wasn't too surprised that the world decided to toss back her angst at her in the form of a asteroid hitting the Earth. She was the only one in her family to survive, and one of the few to survive in the whole world. When the flu like symptoms came, Lydia powered through it like a champ, knowing that with enough strength any feat can be completed. It was surely surprising when the new powers came along with it.

The point of life was just beginning.

Even before the asteroids and the awakening, or whatever people were calling that damned event, Robert was never the most social person. He had always been a cynical introvert who had never quite grasped human interaction. He had few friends, didn't speak much, and preferred to sit in the back of the classroom at school. He was never a troublemaker. He preferred to avoid the spotlight and the trouble. He always hated lies, even the little white lies. Before the event, he was already antsy and a little paranoid, afterward, well, his newfound powers sure didn't help.

History
Be careful what you wish for, and Robert damn well wished he'd kept that saying in mind.

If only I could read minds. My life would be so much easier then.

As it turned out, that was the stupidest idea he'd ever had.

Robert was born to a solidly middle class couple and grew up in Oklahoma. He was never bullied, his parents were satisfied so long as his grades were decent, he never got into fights, he never did drugs, never had a classmate die, etc. Well, at least, he always thought his life was average. In the summers he'd go camping or hiking or backpacking with a friend or two, or a group from his town. He hunted a little too, got to try his hands at a little survival stuff, and outdoor recreation.

When he was stressed out, he'd listen to music, took walks, or he grabbed his gear and went on short hikes. He was returning to his friend's car with a small group back from a multi-day backpacking trip, when he was picked up by the military and deposited into a local bunker. For that year, he worried relentlessly about his parents as he tried to manage on his own in the bunker.

It didn't help when, after a year, the bunker was reopened and people started dropping like flies. God, he'd thought life was tough when cooped up in a bunker with a bunch of stressed out strangers, but if he'd had to choose between another year in the bunker and what happened that week, he'd choose another year without hesitation.

People were terrified, it was chaos. The events that week, didn't manage to inure him to the sight and stench of corpses, but he did manage to reach a level of tolerance he'd never imagined was possible for him.

When he first began hearing murmurs in his head, he'd thought it was hallucinations from the fever. He thought it would pass, but well... it didn't.

Not sure how much his experiences will apply, though what with mutated creatures and the difficulties in getting geared up. Maps would be useless too.

Abilities
As far as Robert's current abilities go, he can only passively read/hear surface thoughts (what a person is thinking of/what's at the forefront of a person's mind).

Eventually when he learns to block out the minds of others, he will be able to learn how to use his ability to communicate telepathically with other people (starting from one at a time to larger groups later) and seek out the surface thoughts and presence of people (based on the feel of their minds).

It is possible that, if his abilities grow well, he will learn to manipulate people by inserting/nudging their thoughts in a certain direction (will definitely require lots of practice though) and learn to read deeper thoughts, eventually.

As his control over his powers grow, he will be able to use his telepathy more actively and for longer periods of time. It's like a muscle. The more you use it, so long as you don't overdo it, the stronger it will become.

Weakness
A very obvious early weakness would be his inability to shut out other's surface thoughts. Until he learns to block people out, he will constantly be hearing voices in his head which can and will disorient him and distract him.

Until he learns to block out the thoughts of others, strong thoughts will likely overwhelm him, and he can and will get lost in the thoughts of others. As such, as far as he's concerned, the less people around him, the better.

Strong thoughts of pain, fear death, or cruelty could mentally hurt him. As long as he's open, he's susceptible to manipulation (if someone knows what they're doing, or his thoughts are subtle or strong enough).

When he learns to use telepathy to communicate, there will be the risk of "leakage" of his thoughts where he might accidentally let people hear his thoughts.

As far as his ability to nudge people in the direction he wishes it, it will be hard to successfully nudge others. Too much and they'll know someone is messing with their mind and put their guards up. Too little, and it has very little effect. Too much can also result in people getting angry and threatening and well, if people know who's screwing with their heads, they're going to go for that person.

If he does it wrong as well, it won't sound like their own thoughts, and that's another way people can realize someone is trying to manipulate their minds. He'd basically have to match the nudge to the person. The wrong type of nudge will put someone's guard up, or make them behave differently than he wants.

By nudge of course, I'm referring to small thoughts added in to try to lead someone's thoughts in the direction he wants. Like a tiny doubtful thought etc.

Strong minds could overpower his and crush his own until he learns to protect his mind from them.

Using his powers actively is an exercise. He will use up far more energy when actively using his powers and will therefore need more food and rest.

Overuse of his power could result in:

headaches, physical pain, nausea, extreme fatigue, falling ill, reduced immunity, unconsciousness, entering a comatose state, brain death, insanity, losing the ability to filter thoughts/protect his mind (depending on how far along he is)

Personality: Kwan is an odd personality type because she has learned to hide her true self behind a carefully created public image of herself because she was being groomed as a Kung Fu Action Star. Her facade is a young cheerful woman who blushes and teases with equal time to each state. She is brave and aggressive in combat and friendly when at rest; always ready to help she is filled with boundless energy.

Her private self is very calculating, always aware of how her actions paint her and strives to be perceived as a sexy but approachable woman who you can have a drink with and always the good girl . She is a speedster in physical action and thought and her perception to reaction time as expected by someone who runs so fast she can run up near vertical surfaces or across water; which means she sometimes as perceived as rash.

She is definitely a thrill seeker and gets a kick out of combat or practice because of her whirling style and when she’s not fighting gets a kick from extreme terrain following or Parkour.

History: Kwan is not her true name because while she speaks beautiful Mandarin she is actually born in South Korea and only half Chinese it was legally changed from Suzi when she was taken on by the Hong Kong Opera as an apprentice. Like all her fellow players Kwan was always in hot competition to outdo her company and because of it had to develop the good girl Kung Fu fighter hero of justice that sold tickets.

She like many in the opera in the beginning was more focused on acrobatics than actual fighting but as she got older she began developing her own forms so that she stood out from the cast . She was a quick study and working with a mentor she developed a style she called Little Whirlwind and was soon a supporting actor being groomed as a star then the company was sold out by the aging brothers who ran it and she was without work which is why she moved to America seeking work in crime dramas and movies

Power: Speed

Abilities: Kwan is Fast, so Fast she can dodge machine gun fire because she can see them in flight (to her bullets seem to move at best 5 kph)
She does everything at high speed when she isn’t interacting with others (Max as of the writing of this report Mach 5)

Weaknesses: Kwan must constantly seek foods especially sweets to replenish her energy reserves. But that’s not her only weakness for she also has trouble with the cold and must vibrate to keep warm which makes it difficult for her to understand or be understood by others; long term exposure is even more problematic causing her to eventually slow down to nearly normal.

Personality: Friendly is the way most describe Trinity because she’s always helpful and never seems to get angry.
Spooky because she has an eye for terrain in which she claims to be able to see the outlines of old buildings or camps which also makes her an excellent tracker of animals and people.

History: Trinity was born in Brooklyn New York to Michael and Irene Two Bears and an only child but was soon moved out to Idaho when she was 5 years old while her dad was deployed overseas.

Her father was in the special forces and his dangerous job finally caught up to him when she was 7 which forced her mother to move the family once more to live with her relatives in Washington state. Her grandfather there ran a surveyor's office and she grew up with her cousins who lived nearby acting as her surrogate siblings.

It was a fun life living at the edge of the north woods in a family that was at home in the wild as they were in their own homes and Trinity learned quickly to run with them as a pack.

She graduated High school at 17 and went to work like her cousins in her grandfather’s company as a survey technician.

It was while working on a project in the area that she was pulled in the bunker with her uncle

She has trouble handling delicate objects because let’s face it she doesn’t know her own strength

JJ is a happy go lucky guy that loves to sing and dance. Despite the events that had led him to where he is now, he remains positive and tries his best to cheer up those around him.

History:

JJ was born and raised in South Korea. He had always dreamt of being a star and at the age of 15 went to an audition where he was immediately signed up. He was sent to training for two years and was scheduled to make his debut on stage after he had finished taking an English course in the United States. He flew to America at the age of 18 to study Enlgish. He passed his English proficiency exam after a year and was about to fly back to his country when catastrophe struck. He would've been one of the casualties if he had not crossed paths with a military personnel who was trying to save as much people as he can. He was one of the last to make it to the bunker before it was sealed. Moments later, the asteroid struck.

A year later, he stepped out of the bunker. Horrified that people were dying within hours of exposure to the ravaged lands, he prepared himself for the inevitable. He didn't die as he had expected but he felt the changes start.

Fire Manipulation and Generation

Abilities:

JJ has the ability to control any fire within his immediate range of vision, causing it to increase or decrease in intensity or to move in a pattern directed by his thoughts. He can also generate fire by heating up his body through physical activity like running or dancing (He prefers dancing). Additionally, he is able to absorb fire into his body with no detrimental effects.

His ability to ignite himself is limited by the quantity of oxygen in his environment, and his personal flame has been extinguished by sufficient quantities of water, flame retardant foam, and vacuum environments. He can reignite instantly once oxygen is returned, with no ill effects.

Weakness:

Large quantities of water can extinguish his flames and cause him injury.

The amount of heat he can generate is dependent on how rested he is. Generating heat also tires him out, making him an easy target.

He thinks about his family and hopes that they had survived the catastrophe. Although there's a big chance that they all perished, he still hopes for the best.

Aud is a shy, reticent person who prefers to be alone than being in a crowd. She doesn't believe in depending on others and is often seen taking care of things by herself. She is, however, protective of the people close to her.

History:

Aud was orphaned at a young age and was put in a foster home. She was sweet and soft spoken and was hardly ever a problem child. However, fate was unfair to her. She was adopted twice but her foster parents turned out to be abusive both times. The third time, she was adopted by parents who couldn't care less if she did drugs or dropped out of school. She couldn't quite figure out why they adopted her in the first place. But as long as they didn't hurt her, she didn't mind their cold/impersonal treatment. As soon as she was 18 years old, she took all her belonging and left home.

Fearing that her foster parents would come after her, she change her last name from Smith to Kent. She jumped from one job to the other until she could save up enough money to get a decent place of her own.

She was working as a waitress in a small cafe when a military personnel came and took her with him to the bunker.

Force Field

Abilities:

Aud can project a protective, impenetrable force field around herself and those standing close to her. She started with a few inches away but is slowly learning to extend her shield. She can currently project her force field at a maximum distance of five feet from herself.

Weakness:

Projecting the force field for long periods of time drains her of her energy and renders her incapable or projecting it again without proper rest. The longer she projects her force field, the more effort it takes to keep it up and the more vulnerable she gets. While she may continue shielding those around her, in time, she becomes a sponge to attacks. A fire attack on a barrier she created would eventually burn her, water attack would eventually make her feel like she's drowning, etc.

Aud is fond of Jae Park and enjoys hearing him sing.

She had been horrified about how people began dying once the doors were opened a year after the asteroid impact. She was one of the rescuers who had helped bring in the possible survivors.

Like the rest of the people who had survived, she suffered a week long flu like illness. She discovered her powers when a pipe broke in the kitchen. She closed her eyes against the strong jet of water but it didn't hit her. Instead it bounced off the invisible barrier that she apparently instinctively erected around herself.

Personality: He generally tries to be nice to everyone and doesn't really hate anyone. Even in the lowest situations he attempts to be positive. However, he has a short fuse and it's best not to set him off.

History: Jason's lived in many places in the US. From Minnesota to California, his parents have travelled a lot. He only has one brother. His mother was stay-at-home while his father worked as a biologist. For a while in life, he didn't know what he wanted to do. When he turned 18, he hastily decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a biologist. Because of this, he knows quite a bit about life and how animals think. He isn't sure whether or not he wants that to be his career. He was attending college in Oklahoma when several military vehicles showed up and escorted them into the bunker.

Skills: His father used to take him hunting in states where it was prevelent. He knows how to fire a gun, gun safety, and can identify a variety of guns. His friends call him a "quick-thinker" in that he knows what to do and how to do it if something happens. He gets to action immediately.

Power: Size Reduction.

Abilities:
-Size Reduction. He can shrink himself down to about an inch.
-Agility. With size reduction comes amazing agility. Bounding from objects and extreme speed. He can only activate these abilities while shrunk.
-Minor Strength. He isn't "super-strong" but if he runs towards a creature at full speed and hits it, it will almost be like a bullet or even a cannon-ball, depending on how fast he's running.

Weakness: Sometimes he has difficulty either shrinking or growing back to normal. While using his agility, he has a tendency to run into things.

Personality: Described as intense and driven, Sasha is not a guy you want to make an enemy of. He's intelligent, level headed, collected, and when he sees fit, unnaturally cold. With the heart of a soldier, Sasha will stop at nothing to complete a task he's set his mind on. His sheer will and determination make him a valuable ally.

He has a cool nature and a steady demeanor. His outer appearance is typically calm; it takes a lot to get him riled up.

The softer side of Sasha isn't something many people get to see. For one, he doesn't have many people to show it to, outside of his very small friend circle. Afraid of getting too close to other people, lest he be jaded, Sasha doesn't associate with others a whole lot. But when he's decided that you're his friend, a warmer, gentler giant begins to emerge. He values close bonds above all else, making his friends the most important things in his life. He doesn't have many, but those he does have, he'd protect with his life.

Skills: Your usual military training applies. He's proficient with most guns, but is particularly skilled at hand to hand combat. Has been known for one punch knock outs. He also has some experience in leadership.

Appearance: Sasha is a very large man. He stands four inches short of seven feet tall, solidly built and muscular. He has pale skin and dirty blonde hair that is kept in a neat buzz cut. His eyes are a gray-ish blue, and cold as ice. He wears mostly old military pants and shirts, in drab green and tans.

Power: Being a literal giant could be considered his power.

Abilities:
He has a definite height advantage.

He has enhanced strength, able to bench press just over one ton.

Weakness: As you can imagine, being the size of a Buick comes with certain disadvantages. He sticks out like a sore thumb among normal people, he needs about twice as many calories as everyone else, and as far as running goes, he's pretty slow. Also, bullets and knives.

Extra or Miscellaneous information Sasha speaks with a Russian accent. He speaks several European languages fluently, Russian and English being his best of course.

History: Sasha grew up in Kazan, Russia. His mother overdosed when Sasha was 5. He was left to be raised by his father, who fell into depression after the loss of his wife. His father wasn't the kindest, and often times was abusive. After Sasha's mother had died, he had essentially lost interest in being a father. He would often invite his loud and obnoxious friends over to watch soccer games, drink, and play poker while Sasha hid in his room and pretended not to exist. Sasha wanted to get out of the house as soon as he could, and joining the military seemed like the best option. However, Sasha had something of an authority issue when he was younger. His father's poor job of raising him had turned him into a rebellious punk.

After six years of service, Sasha slowly lost some of that punk kid attitude. He was eventually promoted to a second lieutenant and given his own, small platoon. They were deployed to Ukraine, where Sasha and his men were given orders that went against his own set of personal morals. When he refused to carry them out, he was threatened with everything in the book: treason, discharge, prison, the works. Instead, he just quit. Sasha and several of his men went AWOL.

What he's been doing with his life since then is anyone's guess. Rumors of him leading a rag tag group of mercenaries on worldwide exploits have gone around. But that doesn't really matter anymore, does it?

He was in the States when the asteroid hit, and was one of about a hundred people to survive within a shelter in the southeast. Recently, that shelter was infiltrated and destroyed by a wandering group of vicious looters. How he survived and got all the way out to the Bunker is yet to be discovered.

Grayson grew up in Northern Texas with two older brothers and his parents. In his younger years, he grew up in a small town, going to school and functioning as a typical preteen. When he was fifteen, his family packed up and moved to the city. His high-school experience was a trying one, as he was a small town boy growing up in a far harsher environment in a Dallas high school. Love was as fruitless as a typical high-school student, and ultimately ended in pain. He developed an aptitude for wrestling and art, splitting his time between both hobbies. He developed decently in each pursuit, however he eventually dropped both activities and followed a career of psychology, majoring in therapy and psychoanalysis. After finishing University, he packed his bags and moved his life upstate, away from his family. Unable to find a good sense of direction, he began making his way through Oklahoma, unaware of the impending disaster.

Astral Manipulation

• Abilities •

Grayson has the ability to perceive and interact with people's Astral forms (think Doctor Strange). He can remove his own Astral form his physical body, allowing him to basically move around invisible, however this removes his heartbeat and ability to breathe, leaving his body comatose and vulnerable. Additionally, he can interact with others' Astral forms. From a distance, he can create energy pulses that only affect living beings (as they have Astral forms, inanimate objects don't). This does not actually displace the person's body, it merely creates a odd image of their body being disrupted and causes them pain, nausea, and discomfort.
Astral forms vary based on the owner's emotional state, so this allows Grayson to read whenever a person is feeling negative or positive emotions.

Grayson has no ability to affect the corporeal world. He can only interact with living creatures. His Astral projection leaves him comatose and unable to move. He can still feel pain, and if he stays disconnected from his body for too long, such as seven minutes, he will die. Additionally, he is affected by people's Astral forms. If they are insanely angry or happy, he will be impacted by it.

Alex is outgoing and generally gets along with everyone. However when someone crosses him he will get them back, even if it isn't immediate. He also tends to hide his negative emotions bottling them up till he can't contain them.

History:

Alexavier grew up in the US and had a relatively average upbringing. His mother was an accountant and his father a bus driver. He was pretty athletic and played multiple sports, though he much preferred martial arts. He would occasionally go on hunting trips with his grandfather. After graduating high school he took a gap year traveling to different countries known for the martial arts he was most interested in. He had just returned to the US for a few weeks and was headed home when he was picked up by a military convoy and brought to the bunker.
After the bunker opened he was among the first to leave searching for food. He eventually began to feel unwell and headed back to the bunker where he saw people dying. He began to feel sicker over the next few days, then when he began to feel better and discovered his power.

He is capable of manipulating the air to create powerful gusts. Capable of using compressed air in a variety of ways. He is also able to create a vacuum in a small area, the area will increase with practice. He is also capable of reducing air resistance and enhancing his senses. Some of these abilities will not be available immediately and others may be thought up but for now this is a good summary of what an air user can do see here for more possible abilities.

Weakness:

Overuse can cause exhaustion and in severe cases death. More complex uses require a certain level of concentration that is unlikely unavailable in the heat of battle.

Jake is a very easy guy to understand. He wants to help everyone he can any way he can. This is probably due to the fact that his heroes were his father and uncle who were both cops. Each gave their all to the community and Jake was so much like both of them. Rarely thinking of himself Jake constantly puts other safety before his own. He's outgoing, energetic, and a great friend.

History:

Jake was raised by his father and mother in a small town where everyone knows each other and secret seems to be etched out of the dictionary. It's not like people didn't try to keep a secret.(How do I say that sentence without the double negative?) It's just that when you live in a small town its hard.

The people Jake looked up to the most were some of the most well liked individuals in the community. Jake's father and uncle were friends with everyone so Jake and his cousins seemed to be raised by everyone in town since no one wanted to see the children of these men to turn out bad.

Jake wanted to be just like them and so his dream was to be a police officer. Cliche of a kid but he didn't care and he stuck with it. If he wasn't doing school work, playing sports, or helping someone he was training his body. He wanted to stay as fit as he could because he knew it'd help him for sure.

He was on the road to the closest city when while passing passing a slightly bigger town than his he was pulled over by the military who quickly ushered him and a few others off the road towards a bunker. The whole time he was in the bunker he worried about everyone he knew back home, but offering his aid to anyone who needed it took his mind off of his own worries.

Abilities:

With Jake's control over density he can raise or lower the density of anything himself or anything he touches. This means he can make things to where they can be almost completely intangible or make something so dense it is almost impenetrable. However, once losing contact with an object it returns to its normal density or when he is knocked out he returns to his normal density.

Weakness:

He can only make things pass through other objects if he is altering the density of both things. Similar issue with making things near impenetrable.

When adjusting density if he does it to quickly, especially with his own body, he will feel nauseous and dizzy.

Personality:
The best way to describe Ben is one word, 'idealist.' He thinks deeply and feels deeply, but enjoys light-hearted humor more often than not. A born dreamer, he loves getting lost in his imagination and pondering various questions of life. In a lot of ways, he's pretty much a walking contradiction. He's anti authority but enjoys traditional and conservative values. He loves being silly but takes what he does in life extremely seriously (His beliefs and ideals are things he will take to his grave). He has a strict honor code he adheres to, but otherwise he takes it easy. He's a born mischief maker, yet he hates deceit. He's decisive in his actions, but somehow he finds himself pondering what he should do more often than not. Perhaps he ponders so much beforehand, he is quick to decide when the time comes. Ben has a wide range of interests and thoughts, but only let's a few key things represent him, so people tend to pidgeon-hole him with certain interests. He loves animals, and tends to help the under dog or people who are ridiculed (he used to be one). He loves games and books, writing and televised/film media. He has an incredible memory and sometimes loses himself in it. His greatest strength and weakness is his tender heart. Contrasting this however, he quite enjoys almost all forms of combat, and strives to keep himself in shape and in top form. He's a devout christian, but tends to dislike the church establishment and the ideals of conservative Christians, believing it's about a personal relationship with God and to be good to one another. He's very proud of his native american blood.

History:
Born in Augusta Georgie, Ben moved to Birmingham Alabama from age 1 1/2 to age 4, before moving to Jacksonville, Florida until age 9, and moving back to Birmingham right before he turned 10. He hardly cried as a baby, or made any mess. He tended to sit quietly and look at things curiously (opposed to his little brother who wrecked everything he saw). Ben spoke very early but walked very late. He tended to bond with animals and he loved catching snakes and lizards. He was considered a nerd in junior high and up, sometimes being excluded or considered weird by others. He had many acquainteses but only a few good friends. By college he'd grown 3 inches, gained 20 pounds of muscle and began looking his age. He went to Samford University (only because his mother wanted him to, and only there because they could afford nowhere else) but never graduated. He lived in Mobile Alabama with a friend and worked for a year, before moving back to Birmingham where he now writes fantasy.

Personality: Alexander is probably one of the most curious people someone might meet. Not only that, he’s somewhat of a risk taker/thrill seeker. Whether if it is on his own on with others, Alexander does not find it hard to have a good time. He jokes around frequently with those he becomes close to, but isn’t afraid to clown around a bit with strangers. The only thing he is not so excited about is his power if he can ever call it that. Alexander believes he possibly has one of the worst powers in the bunker and asks others about theirs to either be curious or to see if his happens to be “cooler.” Despite his fun-loving side, Alexander can be a bit overconfident at times as well. Though he puts on such a lively face, Alexander uses it hide the grief he’s felt in this last year. Why not lighten mood?

History: Alexander attended Texas A&M University for Biology, leaving his younger brother, his parents, and most of the rest of his family in Los Angeles. Long story short, the asteroid struck and he was lucky to be close to the bunker while going on a camping trip up north. (More to be revealed through character interaction).

Skills: Alexander is in decent shape and would almost consider himself athletic. Before the world pretty much ended, Alexander kept himself active while attending Texas A&M University to earn a degree in Biology. Alexander would not call himself a martial artist, but he can throw a mean punch. Alexander. Lastly, he can be plenty creative, makes decent nurse, and a horrible cook.

Power: Dust Manipulation

Abilities: At the moment, Alexander can only turn himself into a sad pile of dust. He hates his power. Once he gets a better grip on his ability, he will be able to not only to form and manipulate his body, but also manipulate existing dust particles to his liking. It’s not that Alexander cannot accomplish these feats already, he just sort of has a bit of a mental block.

Weakness: Alexander cannot create dust out of thin air and will need to rely on existing dust particles in his vicinity. Controlling foreign dust particles can be strenuous as it is equivalent to adding extra weight to one’s body during resistance training.

Personality: Though a genuinely good-natured kid, Levi has a pretty strange set of morals. He doesn't see anything wrong with lying if it's to his advantage, stealing if whoever he stole from didn't need what he took as much as he did, and killing if he believes that the person he killed had done more wrong than they could atone for in a lifetime. Pretty much any crime in the books, he can come up with a case in which he finds it acceptable.
That said, he's generous to those who have less than him, does his best to be helpful and enjoys making friends. He's loyal to those who earn his trust, and his loyalty actually means a lot. There are some he'd lay down his life for.

History: Hailing from the quiet state of Minnesota, Levi's life was thrown into chaos when the asteroid hit. Forced to leave his home state for Oklahoma, his parents died within the first few months in the bunker. Though he fell ill himself, he also developed a strange and yet annoying ability.
Since then, he's mostly been keeping to himself, honing his skills with the simple blowgun he has, making the darts out of whatever spare pieces of metal he can come across. For a kid with a weapon that's barely more than a toy, he's actually gotten quite skilled.
However, the loss of his parents hit him hard. Though he still retains his cheerful nature, he's gotten considerably more anxious and paranoid. He seems more cautious than he once was, even going so far as to mostly keep his moral minority opinions to himself.
(Sort of a WIP. Fleshing this out as I go, I guess.)

Skills: Though one might assume that a ten year old wouldn't be very useful to a group like this one, he's actually fairly skilled in a few areas.
-He is multilingual (fluently speaks English and Hebrew, and knows a little German and Yiddish on top of that)
-He's got a great aim, and can effectively use crossbows and light firearms.
-Though small for his age, he's very fast and uses that to his advantage.
-He has an excellent sense of hearing and touch.

Power: Is immune to almost all poisons.

Abilities: Not only is he unaffected by deliberate poisons like arsenic or cyanide, he's immune to food poisoning and drugs of any kind have no effect on him.

Weakness: When I say something has no effect, I mean that literally. Anything that could potentially used as a poison (meaning something that could conceivably be overdosed on. Yes, there is an LD50 for water, but his powers don't apply to things that would take hours to achieve a lethal dose from) has NO effect on him, not even positive ones. Because he's not affected by drugs, he can't effectively treat his epilepsy, and if he were ever to become seriously ill he would have a lesser chance of survival.

Personality: Silvan is a very friendly soul. He enjoys being happy and bringing a happy atmosphere into any room he is in. Silvan makes jokes in bad situations, and responds with sarcasm to threats. But he does not like talking about himself. While he is humble, he doesnt like talking about his past.

History: Before the bunker, Silvan was a small time criminal. Only because his bigger exploits were very well hidden. He grew up alone, tossed from foster home to foster home. During this time Silvan was placed in several homes that were suppose to be able to deal with hardcases like him, and in trying so they incidently forced Silvan to learn the skills that would allow him to survive. He eventually ended up running with a gang, fixing their equipment andf strategizing for them. He learned to hacker, pick locks, and say the right thing at the right time which made him invaluable. He was forced to do things that still haunt him, and he swore one day he would make enough money to be able to leave the criminal life and afford his own protection.

Skills: Silvan is adept with inventing. While others fumble around when they lose their equipment, Silvan can use just about anything for any situation logically. Because of this, while it may be irrelevant he can just about pick any lock and hack any system, and repair just about anything so long as he has the right equipment. Just ecause he can invent it doesnt mean he can defy logic. Silvan is adept at archery and marksman weapons.

Powers: Silvan has the power of electricity. His body naturals conducts and stores electricity.

Abilities: Silvan can use static electricity to zap whatever he touches, and if needed be he can shoot his power in a lightning bolt manner. At full power it will be thunder bolt like. His power can charge generators and the like.

Weaknesses: Silvan can only store so much electricity, and if he spends it all it generates back much slower than normal. He isnt normally quick to anger, but if someone was to figure out a piece of his past he would become enraged. Silvan is friendly, but he always tries to figure people out and a plan with how to deal with them, which pisses people off. He is not a great hand to hand fighter.

Michael has a serious look about him and often puts on a tough guy persona to those he isnt close with but his friends and family know him to be very sweet and kind once you get to know him.

History:
Prior to the catastrophic events that ended the world as we once knew it Mikey was a pop culture icon, being the front man for his band 'Forget the Famous' which was an inspirational band in the Emo subculture. When NASA announced to the world the impending doom currently aiming straight for them, the band had split up with many of the other members living in nearby states but not being in the same bunker as Mikey, leaving the year inside the bunker to be one of the worst of his life, not knowing whether his friends and former band mates had survived. Luckily enough, Mikey had prepared for the solitude of the bunker and had thought ahead and brought his guitar with him to not only keep himself entertained but to entertain his fellow man in the depths of the bunkers.

Any music he plays from his guitar can change a persons feelings or mood (For example, if he plays a certain song he can make someone angry and frenzy them into attacking their own allies or he can play a different song and calm someone down. These powers are very basic until he can figure out what songs cause what effects).

This also allows him to cause pain through music with a sonic sound.

Weakness:
He is quite slow due to having to carry the guitar around everywhere with him.
He is quiet alot of the time.
