Do you guys think our characters will be familiar with each other through reputation only? Or will we have worked with each other in the past? I've been thinking about that since it could make for some interesting interactions and friendly (and not so friendly) rivalries

@Rultaos i think some of us will be known through reputation only, especially those who are particularly notorious. but some may actually know each other.

I considered including a mention of that Lataniva might be known to some by reputation, but I then intentionally dropped it due to the opening stating that everyone is to start out a stranger. So, well. Guess that's for the GM to answer.

I intended for Sasha to be more Earth based. He would be pretty novice at the whole space thing.

Yeah some passing knowledge of each other by reputation would be fine, I really think we should all be unknown to each other on a personal level, and allow rivalries and friendships to develop naturally.

I'm thinking we'll get started tomorrow, at least set up the story and allow the characters to start interacting and we'll delay kicking things off for just a bit while @rush99999 and @Hannibal finalize their CS' Everyone good with that?

Update: The plans to start today have been slightly derailed by last-minute plans of birthday celebrations for a friend. Still a chance it starts tonight when I get home, but if not it'll be up by 4PM or so at the latest (my time) which is about 18 hours from now. Disregard, it'll be up before I go to bed tonight!

Name: Hadrian Saul/ Chef Cook-Cook

Age/Race/Gender: 24/Human/Male

Appearance: 5'9" tall, 120 kgs, semi muscular build with long dyed hair coloured black with neon orange streaks.

Occupation: Arsonist

Weapons:
The VC1 Flamethrower is highly valued by planetary militia when fighting local wildlife. It is also highly sought after by pirates and mercenaries who are going to fight on ships or in close wuarters. It is designed to destroy shields and to cook people inside their armour. However, if the armour and person inside still hold, Hadrian uses his holdout weapon.


The M4 Revolver is one of the most highly powerful handguns made commercially. Accurate up to 50 metres and and able to punch throigh most armour, this weapon is beloved by outlaws and lawmen alike. Take care of it, it takes care of you.

Armor:
The HG19 ballistic armour is especially built for harsh environments and to protect the user. It can stop a hail of bullets, stop the person inside from burning alive from extreme heat and allow them to walk in freezing cold temperatures without getting frostbite. It is armoured and does not come with shields.

Items: Spare parts for his weapons, such as gas tanks.

His helmet has an inbuilt system that allows him to see his surroundings in any given light.

Has one hard copy of the Anarchists cook book, complete with his own personal edits, diagrams and notes.

Skills: He is able to burn anything with even the most basic of tools.
He is also a damn fine cook and is able to cook fine food for most humanoid races.
Knows sign language.

Powers: N/A

Other: He rarely takes off all of his armour at any given point. He only removes it when in his own quarters, otherwise he usually wears the chest pieces of his armour.

@Catchphrase Just a couple of notes- 1. Calling your revolver 'the most powerful' is an impossible scale in this universe. You can say 'a very powerful' or 'high caliber' but not 'the most powerful'

2. I assume your armor is Armored and not Powered, correct? Little bit of clarification please

Do I need to be of a criminal background, or would it be fine to just be a hired hand in this? If I need to be a criminal, I'll be dark and disturbing with what Tibulus did.

@Banana The basic setup of the team is the Alliance forcing criminals/undesirables into Project Revenant so their actions can be written off as thugs doing thuggery, but I'm not holding anyone to that. If you've got a creative way of being brought onboard as a regular hire, go for it! (Provided the context makes sense!)
