Physical Description:

Important items: Engagement ring, Wallet, Flask, and compass.

Short Bio: Eric lived a rather simple life in West Virginia. He was rather happy, living in the country away from it all outside the cities. He hunted, fished, worked, he made a decent living and was peaceful. He grew up with a family and a fair amount of land, he loved and lived through his years. He even got engaged just several months before the cusp of the current year. However a few days after Christmas he learned of his Fiance cheating on him. This caused him a great deal of grief and pain. He had always had break-ups and the like, throughout his years like anyone would have in their life. However her had never quiet experience anything much like this, he was fully in love with the woman, and she destroyed his life with a single moment.

He pressed into the new year with drinking and the like, and after sometime the days blurred into weeks, and before he knew it, he was sitting drunk on his patio looking to the stars, and then he fell in a dreamy haze. He saw an image, or two, maybe three, he was entirely sure. They were beautiful winged angels. They spoke of a world worse than it was now, he believed it to be a drunken dream, an intoxicated hallucination, and as he awoke from the believed drunken visual, he quickly felt himself grow angry. He couldn't imagine a world worse than his now, he thought it was personal and speaking of a time worse than his current time. He grew furious and he yelled out intoo the night sky, but his yell quickly turned into a roar. He roared and as the roar grew louder and thundered out into the night, he found himself running and thrashing through the woods. He was moving in a direction, the direction wasn't clear, but he had moved and he made a great distance in his furious, adrenaline-fueled rampage. It wasn't until he came to a clearer head that he realized.. he had turned into a massive Grizzly.
It was a day later, when he received an email under his Work Account. It had been sent from someone he had never met or spoken with about a place in Illinois. He wasn't sure what it meant, but it sounded familiar, and before he realized it, his Bear-rampage had already headed him towards Illinois, he had ended up crossing over into Kentucky from West Virginia in that one night. He soon boarded a plane and took his flight, arriving a day later in Illinois. He then quickly made his way to Brightwell, and the Building.

Skills/Flaws:
- Tracking/Hunting- Eric is a country boy born and raised, and has hunted and tracked game all his life. This skill has progressed into being a marvelous tracker even of things outside of the game hunt.
- Handy-man- Eric worked as a handy-man in his late school years and after graduating. He learned a fair amount about electioneering and even more about carpentry.

- Anger Issues- Eric's family has always had an anger problem, and he inherited four generations worth of anger issues. Despite his stoic nature and his control, even he can lose his temper and unleash his anger.
- Trust issues- Eric has a heavy heart, due to recent events before the return of magic, and he now barely trusts anyone or anything. This makes it hard for him to work well with people who believe trust is the biggest connection they should have between people.

Spell List:

- Bear Form(Change)- Eric can transform himself into a massive Grizzly bear. This magic is emotionally tied and can be triggered without his desire in moments of great emotional strength.
- Griffon Vulture Form(Change)- Eric can, alongside his bear form, transform into a Griffon Vulture. Despite him having never traveled to Europe or Asia, he once saw the Eurasian Vulture in a Bird of Prey Exhibition and quickly enjoyed the raw talent of this bird.
- Stand with ME!(World/Change)- He might have trust issues, but Eric is still a man of care and concern. He values the protection of the innocent. This spell allows him to summon up a mighty shield, this massive bulwark is then held by his great strength and use of the spell. The shield stands seven feet tall, and four feet wide. it is also a foot thick. It starts out as a massive block of stone, but with the use of change magic, he transforms it into a highly compact, metal-bossed and lined shield, the stone of the shield is compacted and tightened at the structural level of it's being, and it forms a type of rock as strong as metal, and it features a massive, Nordic-esque Ram's head sculpted in the front of it.
- Bow of the Green(World)- This spell allows Eric to summon up a bow from the earth, it will be made of wood, entangled in vines and mossy roots, as well as have a sinew-like substance of plant matter host a string. Arrows are then fashioned from the earth and raised up in a large quiver on his right leg. He utilizes the freedom of this spell with great ability, having been trained with a bow since being a young lad. The Arrow-heads often sport a simple stone or obsidian head, but using world magic he has been known to create them out of other materials for certain situations.

Physical Description: The awakening of Desmonds power, a flow of pure magic far too strong to be contained in his human form, violently tore his body to shreds. Every inch of his body has been remade to better suit the cataclysmic energies coursing through him. While still a human being, he is comprised of energy rather than flesh and blood.

Short Bio: Desmond was an underachiever and a slacker his entire life, lacking the motivation to achieve greatness or accomplish any goals in life. Yet he was happy and content with the life he had chosen to live, surrounding himself with good friends and strong bonds to his family. Though his family had always known their son was fiercely intelligent, they never pressured him to change his views or live a different way. To them it was important to be true to yourself first and the world second.
So long as you are happy you are achieving your goals.

Working as a Gravekeeper, a well paying job that provided him with physical exercise and a workplace that is often respectfully silent and solemn, Desmond would often fantasize about raising the dead or fighting hordes of mindless zombies. Reading novels and watching movies about the undead only fueled his obsession with deaths infinite mystery. It wasn't until he experienced the 'change' that he realized how much more he cared about life.

Skills: Desmond is skilled in manipulating his own form to better suit his needs, making him highly adaptable to many situations.

Flaws: Desmonds current form has remade him into the perfect form to wield his gift, but the price of such power came with the sundering of his emotions. While he can still feel joy and anger, it is a disconnected feeling. A fleeting experience brought on more by memory of the feeling than any actual stirring of emotion.

While he wields great powers, they are still too much for him to use regularly. An overuse of his magic could cause him to simply cease to exist, as his source of his energy has become his body. Similarly, not using his energy will only cause his form to grow and become unstable. The result of such an outcome would be cataclysmic.

Short Bio: Kira couldn't play out in the sun like the other kids and because of the constant bullying that resulted from this isolation, her single father decided to homeschool her. They didn't have much but fortunately she was still able to connect with people by playing some of the tabletop games that the local shop gave them. The few friends Kira that had were sacred and because of her concern she often ended up doing a little too much. Her father had told her that she missed too much to catch up, that she would always have him. But he died. And for a while the house may as well have been empty. The time for grief had come to an end when the bills began to stack up, one after another.

She begged for a little more time from the collectors, time to find a solution. The solution was writing. Kira found that she could churn out pieces that would help pay the bills as long as she was offered clear guidelines, or at least able to be briefed in a complete manner. she assumed the pseudonym "L" becoming prolific in newspapers, magazines, and even some academic journals. The greatest invention she would say that had the biggest impact on her life is the self-checkout device, it signaled that though total escape isn't possible, there is a world out there of people seeking the impossible.

Skills: Kira is really good at predicting things as long as there is a discernible pattern.
Pity: Over the years Kira has gotten better at using her condition to draw pity strangers.
Flaws:She has a hard time expressing her emotions and connecting them to meaningful action.
Grows weak if not under the protection of her Bend Light spell.

Spell list: Bend light:(Time Space): Kira can make things invisible by manipulating the direction of light waves.
Data mine(mind magic): Kira can plant an idea in someone's mind and make it surface to conscious thought at a moment of her choosing. This ability can be used as a way to severely break someone's concentration unexpectedly as well as other uses.
Substitution(time Space): Kira can switch the physical coordinates of any two objects(which includes people) she can see, which can include herself if she is not currently using Bend light.
Perceptual symmetry(Mind Magic): Kira can make any one person perceive through the senses of another( This does not pertain to emotion or conscious thought).
PODS(Time space): Kira is able to make use of a magic storage space that can hold an amount of mass not proportional compared to what the thing's size looks like on the outside. This storage space is able to be moved around magically by Kira as if attached to her is a chain and the end is the Chomp monster from the Mario games. The chain is around 5 feet long. Additionally, the storage space can absorb different forms of mass which does not include things of magical origin. This device is not actually alive and moves according to kira's desired trajectory. To those without enhanced sight the PODS is invisible like a shimmer of heat.

Enlightenment(Mind magic):If an ally or allies is using a spell that bolsters his or her own senses then that spell's effects are applied to Kira as well.

Short Bio: Kasumi was never a good person. When she was ten years old, her parents paid for Kendo lessons for her. She learned quickly and was a natural fighter, because of this she quickly went up in rank. By the time she was 17, she was almost a master however, she couldn't quite beat her master to get her final promotion. Determined, Kasumi spent her time trying to come up with new tricks and skills to defeat her master. Although she kept training to her hardest. When she reached 18 Kasumi decided to trade in her one kendo sword for two short kendo swords. She trained with using two kendo swords until she reached the age of 20. After that, she became an expert at using two swords at once. However, she still hadn't become the master. Whilst training one day, she saw a strange creature, a Malakim. It was only for a few short seconds, until it disappeared. At first, she thought she was going crazy, and tried to ignore the experience, however after a few days she discovered that she had changed, that she was no longer normal. That now, she had magic.

Skills/Flaws: Kasumi is extremely skilled sword combat.
Kasumi is skilled in assassination

However

Kasumi is short tempered, and when angry can lose focus.
Kasumi doesn't always go in with a plan, and because of that, she can get into a lot of trouble.

Important items: Research Books from many years ago. His 'Pointing Stick' that he used when he was teaching.

Short Bio: Master Grey has had many professions in the past. First he was a teacher, more specificly an advanced science teacher. Teaching everything from biology to chemistry to physics. After a good 40 years of being a teacher, Master Grey came up his teaching career to start a new career as a researcher. He stayed in libraries looking through books and using the information he gained to help him progress in his research. The majority of his research consisted of animal biology, trying to find a way to combine animal DNA with humans or trying to make animals smarter. As everyone knows, this isn't possible, as far as we know anyway but there have been stories such as giving mice the ability to speak using specific genes in the human brain. Of course, it wasn't actual talking, more so Master Grey discovered the mice were more vocal in communication but sadly no human communication. Master Grey continued to conduct research trying to discover new ways of mixing animals with humans, one way or another. A few of Master Grey's successful researches were giving the ability to grow hair again, curing a number of diseases, and other well known feats. Master Grey stayed as a researcher until he was the age of 70 which at that point he retired. He would still read physics books, biology books and research books that he either made by himself, or by somebody else. It was until he was 80 that he had dreams of a strange creature. Not long after, he discovered that he had powers that he never imagined he would have.

Skills/Flaws: Master Grey, being a Professor and a Teacher, is very intelligent.
Not only is Master Grey Intelligent, he is Wise.

However

Master Grey is old, and he sees the best in people. Sometimes that can be used to manipulate him or trick him.
Master Grey doesn't like fighting, and will only fight when he has no choice. He will do anything to protect the innocent and the young, even at the cost of his own life. this again can be used against him.

Spell List: Chain Lightning
Cutting Wind (Basically, a wave of wind that can cut)
Flamethrower (Constant stream of fire out of his 'wand' for up to about a minute)
Earth Fist (Creates a fist out of earth to either grab someone, punch and slap)

Channel: He can channel one element at a time in himself to make that element stronger. (Example, lightning, creates a higher voltage, fire, turns into blue fire, etc.)

Soul/Spirit Weapon (underworld) - By calling forth a soul from the underworld, purgatory, or even nearby in the world, and manipulating the soul's form, can transform the soul into semi-corporal yet Physical weapon of some form. The more complex weapons could require more souls than a single one. like a bow or gun would also requires souls to form into the ammunition to fire out. when released the souls will return to their normal forms and return to where they belong.
Astral Projection (Underworld) - The user would manipulate their own soul/spirit, allowing them to exit their bodies temporally and explore the surrounding area as a spirit. It takes time to learn how to control their spirit bodies, their physical bodies will be in a unconscious and defenseless state until the spirit returns. If the phyiscal body is harmed, the spirit will still feel it, and can be destroyed because of it.

Short Bio: Not everyone on the run from the government is a youngster, before awakening he was a happy man with a life and loving family. All this changed however when he began seeing images of angels, and before long the ones who once loved him now revile and fear him due to their inability to comprehend what he had become. Rather than let his loved ones remain afraid he elected to have all memories of himself removed from their minds. Every now and then he gazes longingly at the photos within his locket hoping that all of this magic business was just a dream. Running hasn't been easy on him, and has taken its toll mentally leaving him with constant paranoia of being followed.

Skills
-Marksmanship: Before ever going on the run he was an avid pistol shooter, and would spend his weekends at the range honing his skills
-Light footed: Being on the run for so long he's learned to keep a low profile and can move practically noiselessly and has no trouble dissolving into a crowd.

Flaws
-Paranoid: Is constantly looking over his shoulder for a perceived threats, and is quick to perceive false slights
-Cowardly: avoids fighting where possible favoring manipulation or stealth instead
Spell List

-Mirror Image (mind magic)- creates an illusory clone of himself that acts completely normal, and is difficult for most mages to detect

-Delusions (mind magic)- creates deeply personal and disturbing images within the mind of its target leading to a feeling of abject terror, inhibiting spell casting abilities

-Memory manipulation (mind magic)- excels at creating or deleting memories of his target and replacing them with something that helps him escape detection

-Paralysis bolt (mind magic)- a slow moving bolt when contacted causes the target to immediately freeze in place unable to move, automatic functions like breathing continue working spells that would require spoken or somatic components don't function. Resistance is based on the extent/power of the spell, one merely causing lethargy/ slight impairment of movement being harder to resist than total paralysis which is fairly easy to resist by itself

-Mind sear (mind magic)- A bolt of pure pain that causes psychic damage to those it hits, psychic damage can be lethal, (can cause comas) but it fades over time leaving no lasting impact aside from noticeable twitchyness.

-Illusions (mind magic)- can create convincing illusions affecting all of the senses, though as the more senses affected increase the overall level of detail decreases, thus a less convincing illusion is made

-Blend in (mind magic)- His appearance begins to distort as he becomes almost impossible to perceive, looking away causes those who were looking to be erased from short term memory, but remain in long term.

-Open Book (mind magic)- He gazes at a target intensely for a few seconds and gains the ability to look through their mind like the pages of a book reading both their conscious and subconscious thoughts this also allows him to more discreetly alter and shape the perceptions of the target due to this remote link.
Cantrips

-Quicksilver tongue (mind magic): The characteristics of his voice change to the mental preference of the individual hearing it, it can oftentimes convince non-mages and manipulate their actions, this can affect mages to much lesser extent merely altering his voice to a soothing pitch

-Silent whisper (mind magic): can send quiet message through telepathy to a single mage within line of sight.

Aden was born in St. Louis, Missouri. His parents divorced early in his life; his dad was violent and manipulative, his mother got out while she could, and remarried across the country, leaving him behind. He had few friends, only managing to maintain a few acquaintanceships with people who wanted to use him to improve their grades. Things began to come to a head when he started hanging around with sketchy characters and rebelling against his dad. Coming into magic was the final straw, prompting him to finally stand up for himself. The confrontation turned violent, but he soon realized magic had changed very little for him, so he made his own change; moved in with his mom’s family for the summer and severing all ties with his dad.

Magic was complicated for him, it wasn’t the first time weird things had happened to him, and while before it was easily dismissable as harmless imagination, now he could cause real damage. He hid his abilities and continued as he had before, indulging the power when alone, but pretending as if everything was normal. One of his biggest worries was what the magic meant for him, where his place was in the world now, but without anyone to answer his questions he could do nothing to satisfy this. The message he received however was eagerly taken, and he left as soon as he could to find his own kind, hoping he’d finally be okay once surrounded by people in a similar situation as himself.

Vidasang (Change/World); Blood can be used to heal wounds. The blood can be taken from any source, but incompatible blood, meaning animal or of different blood types, is changed to become compatible. The further from compatible it is the more energy is needed to change it, meaning a snake’s blood would be more costly than the spell is worth, but a human’s would work fine. The spell works best on open wounds, but has some effect on broken bones.






Mag-ascensor (World); Electromagnetism is used to manipulate the gravity around the caster to achieve flight and increase movement speed. Perception remains unchanged, making extreme speeds disorienting. Can also be used to make things nearby slower or easier to lift.






Vermellum (World); Uses electromagnetism to blast a telekinetic force at a target, appearing as a small red missile of light. Can be shaped to be sharp or blunt for specific types of damage or other use.






Calenallum (World); Creation of light so hot it can melt metal, start fires, and blind onlookers. The light can be controlled or it can radiate outwards in a blast. Must be used cautiously lest the user be burned or blinded.






Electripell (Change, World); Skin gains a bio-electric outline, integrated to sense nearby movement and shock anyone or anything that makes contact.






Animar (Change); Animates inanimate objects such as rocks or shattered debris into golems of various sizes to follow simple orders like ‘go there’, ‘carry this’, or ‘attack that’.

Conjure Element (World): Alexander can create Fire, Air, Earth, and Water.

Control Element (World): Alexander can control Fire, Air, Earth and Water.

Anti-Gravity Bubble (World): Alexander can project a bubble of anti-gravity the size of a small car, and can fly anything inside the bubble, including himself.

Underworld Hyperspace (Underworld): Alexander can create portals to and from the Underworld, using it as a 'Hyperspace' of some sort. The drawback of this is that this isn't safe; without a separate spell that protects the user, he will be torn apart by the souls of the departed...

Ghost Ward (Underworld): Alexander can protect himself and others against Ghosts or incorporeal Undead.

Soulshape (Underworld): Alexander can reshape his soul energy to compensate for a missing limb, replacing it with a more powerful 'prostethic' that is capable of feats of strength and durability. The downsides? One, there has to be a missing limb, and two, the artificial limb can only be manifested at night.

Craft Mithril (World/Change): Alexander can create a metal that 1.) naturally conducts Magic, and 2.) is harder than steel, yet also more flexible and easily shaped.

Ascot:



Heal (Change) - Ascot can heal himself and others.

Transmute (Change) - Ascot can change one substance to another, but cannot form substances himself.

Armored Liger Form (Change) - Ascot can change his form into that of a Liger, and his clothing into custom-made, carbon-fibre armor. Note that the 'nullification rock' used by the US Gov't does not undo a transformation into something that can plausibly exist, and both Ligers and carbon-fibre armor fit the criteria.

Telepathy (Mind) - Ascot can transmit thoughts, emotions, and images without talking, using only the power of his mind.

Dreamwalk (Mind) - Ascot, when he's asleep, can walk into other people's dreams, and observe them.

Dreamshape (Mind) - Ascot can 'spend' Mana in order to reshape people's dreamscapes, or give that power to someone else. However, this comes with a drawback; against a Lucid Dreamer, the one with the more Mind spells (aka more than three) automatically overpowers whatever he can cook up. If the number of Mind spells he and his opponent has are equal, though, a coin is flipped at every 'encounter' OOC; heads, he wins, tails, he loses (or vice versa, I'm not picky).

Mental Shield (Mind) - Ascot can shield himself from mental magic, within reason.

Probability Manipulation (Timespace) - Ascot can make himself and others extra lucky.

Short Bio;
Leon is the son of a famous multi-million dollar technology company's head. Ever since he was born, he was a natural born genius with technology, some of the things he created when he was just a boy was released by the company to the public. Because of this he was kept as top secret, all records of even his birth was destroyed by the company. They used a lot of their money and connections to insure that he would never be heard of by anyone. He is even kept in a secret facility built just to be his home. He was given anything he ever wanted, and could interact with the outside world but only through hundreds of internet aliases.
One day after a long night of playing a brand new game he was able to get for his own personal entertainment he received a dream, a very confusing dream meeting the Malakim, they told him he would change much with his own power, with his own skills, his own creations. So his creative mind was chosen. When searching online he intercepted an email that was being sent to many locations at once, with the Keyword Magic. Thanks to his super computer he was able to figure out that there was other people out there like him. He noticed how it wasn't sent out to him so he would raise a brow at this then remember he is totally off the grid, only people who know of him was his family, and the company and that was only the top brass. So he sent out a small little spy robot to watch this gathering and record everything for him to review over.

Skills/Flaws:
Genius Mind - He is Extremely smart enough that he always thinks outside the box and can see things people normally don't.
Creativity - He has great Creativity, it is the reason he has created many little inventions and even more so with his new abilities.

Social Anxiety - Because of being locked away for his entire life he has gained massive Anxiety when ever his around any people.
Tunnel Vision - When he gets an idea for a creation in his head he tends to completely tunnel vision on the creation, forgetting about anything and everything else that exists besides his own work and inventions.

Spell List:
Create Magical Construct (High) - Manipulating Pure magic into specialized items and Objects created out of only magical energies.
Control Magical Construct (High) - Using High Magic to control various aspects of a created Magical Construct.
Enchant (High) - Enchanting an object with various abilities and aspects.
Manipulate Metal (World) - Shape and manipulate various Metals into different shapes.
Manipulate Plastic (World) - Shape and Manipulate plastic, used in conjecture of manipulating metal to create circuit boards among other creations.
Magi-Tech Creation (High/World) - By combining High magic and World magic using his creative and genius mind he started to create entirely new inventions, From Golems, to other kind of robots and tools.

Spell Program (High/World) - By using magi-tech as a focal point, can program spells into magi-tech devices. These spells can be one time use, or multiple times depending on the device and the program. Example: Programming a Magi-Tech Bullet to activate a blast of pure magic energy when fired. Notes: Requires time to program the spells into the magi-tech device using both magic and a computer, and the user can't program a spell that doesn't fit their own magic archetypes, and still requires the magical energies it would normally.
