Kingdom of Mefar
A realm positioned over a dense tropical rainforest and borderland savannas, the Mefarites have expanded from coast to coast as a highly militant, volatile people - their capital is Morad, situated over a river of the same name. They are often associated with piracy, religious sacrifice, ivory and slave trade.
Geography
The kingdom straddles the equator, and due to this position Mefar has the highest frequency of thunderstorms in the world. Mefar sustains the Mefar rainforest, a massive expanse of lush jungle covering the vast, low-lying central basin of the river Morad. It is here that the capital city of the same name is situated; a hub of commerce and the political seat of the Soterid dynasty. This area is surrounded by plateaus merging into savannas, mountainous terraces and marshy depressions chock full of lakes and small streams.
Mefar contains great biodiversity, including many, often-rare species like the forest elephant, mountain gorilla, hippopotami, white rhinos, frightening vipers and crocodiles. There is a myriad of plants, often considered otherworldly by foreigners; many recognized by the locals as deadly. The previously mentioned mountainous terraces may come to contain an abundance of unexposed and unexploited mineral wealth. The Mefarite populace only seem to favor ivory and slaves as currency, albeit - unknowing and perhaps even uncaring of the rich resources.
History
The native legend speaks of Soter, a youth born in a coastal village who was captured and made a slave by foreign corsairs. Soter has allegedly traveled all over the world, being bought and sold like a commodity for the next four years; he grew strong through manual labor and converted to an alien religion in a faraway monastery as the helper of an elderly abbot.
When he turned thirty, he began to have visions of a winged swordsman urging him to come back to his homeland and conquer the jungle. The abbot had plans to send Soter on a holy mission, but Soter strangled the old man instead and made away with the monastery's wealth, buying a ship and a crew of soldiers to aid him on his holy quest. The next thirty years were spent ruthlessly expanding his kingdom. He named it 'the kingdom of god.'
Culture
Hoo boy. This section should be the largest, and cover as many facets of their culture you can think of. I don't just wanna know their clothes and religion, I want to know what their food is like, how other countries view them, what their view of death is, and so on. Do they use beds or rollout futons to conserve space? Do they bathe normally, or is regularly being submerged in water considered unhealthy? Are there foods associated with a holiday? Do they duel over honor or legal matters? You get the picture.Military
Aside from the general "They have a lot of foot soldiers, a few mounted soldiers, and some archers" tell me how their military is different than any other military, and do it without listing any numbers. Do they ride something besides horses or sail something besides galleys? Do they make use of psychological, biological, or economic warfare? Do they take prisoners? Things like that. If this section includes some bullshit special group of a hundred that uses two swords because they went to sword college or something like that, see yourself to the door.Economy
In the simplest terms, what do you import and export? Do you make a lot of things, or just one thing? Is your country in debt to another? Geography and culture will play a role here. Also, no country is self sufficient.Relations
Don't just give me your trade relations you god damn minmaxer. Tell me what your peoples get called by racists, what your country's relation to the rest of the world is, what the popular image of your country is as a whole, etc. That, and y'know, those trade relations.
Ruling House Name
I'm not doing the important crest thing from ASOIAF. If you want a picture here, Make it a fancy font or their castle or something.
House History
This can start with some dude so long ago people don't think he's real, or it can start with your current monarch's birth. All I really wanna know is the recent history.
House Members
A list of the people in your country's royal family, starting with the king and ending with the youngest heir.
House Specialty
If you were waiting for a section to put a weirdly specific strength, this is it. Houses can have military traditions and thus focus on making their heirs study tactics, or have artistic traditions, or have their strength not be related to a tradition at all. Maybe they have a really cool boat. Maybe they breed weird animals. Anyway, feel free to lean on the fantasy tagline here a little and use your imagination.
