@Antioch Yoki sat back down as the human woke up. She titled her head to the side, interested. "Nine wings? Must be a very powerful Bird God, then. My distant cousin, Eagle, is a very powerful spirit, but he does not possess nine wings. He always beats me in races though, very unfair. I should be faster than wind!" She swung her feet back and forth above the ground as she sat, almost vibrating with the energy this strange encounter has encouraged in her.

@CandySatan She shook her head, "Not a bird. Horrifying bird if it was... couldn't see its face... I need to... to leave." She hopped to her feet, running outside of the inn and running around to the back, looking for anything that might aid her escape.

Artholath stood as the mortal then ran out the door. Though he hated the idea of being so interested in a mortal's affairs, he could excuse this time to simply follow and see what came of the matter, even if it was more likely than not a symptom of fragile human sanity. He strode out the door at a leisurely pace, following the human at a fair distance, and looked on with amusement at its antics.

@ArenaSnow She was staring at the horizon longingly, muttering, "I... I can't be dead..." She slumped against the outerwall, resting her head on her knees, "I'm dead. Very, very dead..." Her hand wandered to her rifle, and she unslung it, staring at the barrel like she had an idea.

@Antioch@ArenaSnow Yoki, in all of her curiosity, followed the human. She noticed a rather large and menacing creature following, but she did not pay it much mind. She may have not seen anything like him, but she was no stranger to unusual and terrifying creatures. Yoki saw the human stare at the strange stick in her hands. "Is that a magic staff?" Yoki questioned. She hadn't believed the human possessed any sort of magic, but Yoki was new here. Rules in her world may be utterly different than rules here. Yoki's nose twitched as the overpowering scent of fear and despair met her senses. She licked her lips at the tantalizing fragrance, imagining the sacrifices that were once given in her honor in hopes of a good and bountiful harvest.

@CandySatan She shook her head, "It uses explosions to send pieces of metal flying, accurately, at very high speeds. No magic whatsoever where I'm from, or at least to my knowledge..." She sighed, slinging it on her shoulder again, "I'm really just afraid of being grabbed by that... being, again. I don't want to spend my afterlife dodging hands." Standing up, she gave her a weak smile.

Czurem had followed, quite enjoying it when humans reacted in shock at being dead. She skipped along, watching quite amused. "Humans take death so strangely for a race that dies so often, huh?" she mused to the large person and the wolf-girl thingy. She frowned at the weapon, shaking her head with a sigh.

"Well why did you bring it with you? I'm not sure it'll be much use here."

@medalliah@Antioch "Well, we are in the afterlife. No where to go but here for us, it seems. Why be scared of something that can not kill you?" Yoki shrugged her shoulders, this was a pointless venture. She wouldn't be able to eat this human, and it seemed unlikely the human was gong to pledge herself to Yoki. The deity turned her gaze back to the tavern. "I suppose I'd rather be inside this place than outside in nothingness." The wolf-girl walked back towards the entrance, cloak rippling by her swift movements. Once inside, she returned to the table she had been seated at before, silently hoping she would be able to still eat some sort of flesh and raw meat in the afterlife. Resting her chin on her hand propped upon the table, Yoki let her eyes dance across the room.

Kric, the Imp


Kric had been ignoring the new arrivals, too busy with pestering the bar keep until one caught his eye. Some sort of werewolf or something? The imp lost interest in Zzubus, making his way over to the wolf deity with cat like motions.

The imp jumped lightly onto the table she sat at, spaded tail swishing behind him with curiosity, propped up in a squatting position much like a gargoyle or dog, his signature stance really. "...I've never seen anything like you before... I've been here almost as long as Zzuby, too." He stated thoughtfully, almost more to himself than to the girl. "What are you?" Kric finally asked bluntly, eyes darting over her face as he awaited her response. He didn't mean to be rude, but he just didn't know how to act in social situations. After all this time, he never really learned.

David didn't follow the human solider when she darted out of the tavern, being confident that she would eventually come back. The first one to return, though, was Yoki the wolf-girl.

Before David could say anything, Kric the imp swiftly but softly jumped onto the table, squatting like a gargoyle. "What are you?" Kric asked rather bluntly, but David actually preferred that attitude over the tiring polite persona behind which everyone in his homeland hid. Interested in the answer himself, the mathematician listened silently.

@LChris314@Cherrywitch The abrupt arrival of a strange looking creature caused Yoki to bare her teeth and snarl, slightly startled. Once she realized she was not being attacked, she calmed herself and blinked owlishly at the new arrival using the tabletop as a chair. "I am a deity." Yoki simply stated, then grinned in a manner resembling a blood thirsty beast, "Would you like to pledge yourself to me?" In all her 3,000+ years of life, most of Yoki's worshippers were human, but there were a few lesser deities who had pledged themselves to Yoki and worked in her name. As she lost followers and power, they gave their own life force to sustain her dwindling one. She would not have lived past 3,112 years if it were not for those few sacrifices. "And what are you?" Yoki asked curiously, since she had not seen anything quite like this being before.

The imp seemed unamused, ignoring her first inquiry as if she had said nothing at all. His sharp aqua eyes took another scan of the wolf girl, before he seemed satisfied with her answer. He hesitated on his response, already bored and about to go searching for some more sweet ice cream, before he blandly replied. "... I'm an imp. But no, I don't serve anyone. I do tasks for payments sometimes but that's about it." Kric stated, seeming almost offended at the thought that she would so casually ask for obedience from the most disobedient imp there ever was. "If you're a deity, you have a lot of money, right? If you need something I'll do it... but I want ice cream in return." His tail flicked behind him stubbornly, not seeming to recognize just how silly and childish that proposition was.

He glanced over at the other man tuning in to the conversation, but again seemed disinterested. If the wolf deity didn't respond to him soon enough, he was already preparing to dart off again.

Artholath wasn't one to take an interest in the plights of humans - the only interest he took in them was when the plight was interesting.

Hands crossing into the dimension of the dead was interesting. It fit some of the theoreticals described by his mentors, though they were always vague on matters of death and other dimensions. He never could determine if it was possible for beings to pull others out of death in any direct permanent manner, though obviously the use of necromancy to bring back souls was possible in his homeworld, and indeed to put them in special forms. But they were never back, not truly. Their connections were weaker than the rest...

It was substance worth pondering, and on that note, he returned to the inn, back to his solitary table, and crossed his legs in similar fashion as before atop the table.

@Cherrywitch Yoki cocked her head to the side, staring intensely at the imp. In a very serious voice she asked, "What is ice cream?" Perhaps it was something the dead dined on? In fact, what did the dead eat? Yoki wondered silently if she would have to change her diet from human sacrifices to something completely different, which upset her quite a bit. She loved human sacrifices! "Ice is something I can make, it is a form of water. But cream...that is something that comes from the human's livestock, correct? Why would you eat ice?"

The imp went very very silent, his face dark in disbelief. One eye twitched, he slowly turning his head back to the wolf girl. His gaze was dead, shell shocked from the preposterousness.

"You... don't know what ice cream is?"

Kric faced her head on, not seeming to care about personal space with all the shock and anger he was feeling. "Its not just ice! It's sweet and creamy, and it's delicious and, and..!" Kric stopped, for his stomach growled at the very thought. His mouth watered and he fell onto the floor weakly, eyes wet and lips wobbling with a cute, but sad little animalistic whimper. "Mmm now I really want some ice cream..."

His eyes open and taking a look around he could see he was inside of some sort of tavern or something, Last thing he remembers was on the floor bleeding out having coming out of the building where he killed the leader of the WICK. Adjusting the latex rooster mask on his head and taking a look around tapping his hand on the bottom of what looked like a carriage a strange habit he seems to be conjusting.The carriage soon stopped and as BlackAdder the feared vigilante was looking outside tapping the side of the carriage to get the drivers attention.

Czurem was bored outside, and decided to come back in to see if anyone else was interesting. Then she spotted someone new! Seeing the interesting wolf-thing was talking to the stealing imp, she decided to approach the...bird, thingy? She walked over to the human bird thing (@Eviledd1984) with a smile.

"Well you're interesting. Are you really a bird?" the Dragon girl leant in to examine the creature

The masked man turned around to the voice speaking to him turning to be face to face with a female but she did not look human,Shaking his head making the rooster mask on his face shake comically while moving his mask up far enough form his face to revealing his human mouth and nose.

To show her he was human and also to smoke a cigarette which he had a pack of in his jacket pocket, Pulling out the cancer stick and putting it to his mouth checking his pockets to realize he had no lighter or matches to light it.What luck so now this was going to be a already shitting day.

Czurem looked surprised when the man lifted his odd moving face...to reveal another face! The Dragon laughed. "What a strange face you wear on your own face! Why did you bring a fowl face to wear upon your own? Ah...Masks, your kind call them right?"

She frowned at the odd stick in his mouth. She remembered them, cigarettes or something.

"Uh...you need someone to light that?"

The masked man nodded his head and would very much appreciate it if she had some way to light his cigarettes,Well it was a mask it's not like he's a real chicken man or anything. Although now that he thinks about it alot of people including the media thought he was some sort of crazed chicken vigilante.

Bending down just a little bit for the shorter female to help light up his cigarette.
