That kind of thinking tends to lead to arguements when a gm does want to overrule it, and then it's a back-and-forth between what's already happened and what was intended. One should never assume it's okay and then go ahead with it. At best you're inconsiderate, but usually it's just godmoding.

Felt that this should be said since I get the nervous feeling that this is going to be a reoccurring issue.

Hmmm? I'm just saying that unless stated to be illegitimate we can't really do much with it. So we can't do much more than find it a fairly random event happening.

Don't assume and just start your own cut scenes. We can safely ignore them, just catch up with the fam and shit.

closer to standing over but close enough @Ryougu

you in fact did save lives though, if the bandits attacked my character, he probably would have had to draw his weapons, which would have ended pretty badly for the bandits

Ehhh, I'm flattered, but these guys are bandits. I should be able to take these guys as a speed-oriented fighter.

I was actually considering punching the first in the gut, jumping on him as he would bend over in pain and then jump-kicking the second guy in the face.
But I decided to keep it simple.

my character is speed oriented to a fair degree as well, but he usually dons a fairly large travel pack inhibiting his movement to some degree that causes him to rely on his abilities @Ryougu
