Hope it's not too bad if I assumed I knew you guys since I've been in town for a while! I know some people get irritated about that kind of stuff.

This just got me thinking. Would it be possible to set up a section in, perhaps the OP of OOC - but the OP of Characters could work either, where a written track of each character is taken. So, for example, we might have something that reads like:

Casimer Demetrius-Kahn - Casimer's House, Helgen
Illium Vethelot - Casimer's House, Helgen
Etc.

I'm not sure how big this RP is going to get, but it would be definitely useful if people start moving outside of Helgen - which Casimer is almost certain to do according to the brief character development sketch I did - or if new people join. I am keeping track with titling, either way, just because I am so use to it from elsewhere.

Hmmm I guess that would be possible. I am also willing to see if anyone wants to be a CO-Gm in order to help me with that. If anyone is interested let me know.

@DeadlyPhoenix

I'd be interested in helping. I generally have nothing to do most days anyway and I'm well versed in Skyrim lore. Just added twenty hours in the past three days just by re-reading all of the lore of the higher deities and some of the factions to see what we could do lol.

Sure I think it would be good to make you Co-Gm. I will add one more Co-Gm if anyone is interested.

He's moved on to The Keep since then. And it's spelled "Ardashir."

Slowly sinks into rabbit hole that is Tamriel's arcane lore.

Oh gods... My head is going to explode... Seems I need to study a bit more. And I now realize Corinth is very odd...

Update: Magic is weird. >.> There is a lot of things to learn in this little venture... Like how Mysticism likes sticking it's conundrums and patterns into the other schools of magic...

Corinth is both a Greek city and a Khajiit city in-game.

Aye. XD but it is the nature of his magic which is in question... This rabbit hole goes deep. And my notes are quite wild. Thanks to the open-ended answers I keep finding... Like how Mysticism is never truly explained. Only referred to as the use of conundrums and paradoxes and patterns. This shall be Corinth's quest. Find out about why this magic is something he uses... And how to better control it. I didn't even realize this stuff when I made my character, because it's not in any Skyrim lore, as they dropped it as a class of magic.

Well, the name of the school "mysticism" implies communion with "hidden things" and it was used as as catch-all for spells which didn't logically or neatly fit into the others schools. They did away with it in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Ma'iq even comments on it as being impractical. Somehow, I doubt that Skyrim is a good place to look. Outside of the Shouts, Shalidor, Ahzidal, and the Dragon Cult in general, the land is not known for being rich in magical history. If the Arcane University was Harvard, The College of Winterhold is a small liberal arts college.

EDIT: I suppose the Forsworn and Nightingales have their own forms of magic, but that's mostly Daedric stuff. Solstheim is part of Morrowind in this time, so it isn't Skyrim anymore. I suppose there's a bit more magic to be found in the Volkihar vampires and the Dawnguard. Not sure what to make of the Dark Brotherhood's stuff. I guess that's from Sithis or something.

Magic is not what Skyrim is known for. It's the Shouts. Which is Thu'um. And that stuff is already complicated. But there is a way to learn more of it, through Herma Mora, but I doubt he'd help. He would definitely watch, however.

I also wish the college had more knowledge on magic, but the sad reality is Nords do not like it. They have a general distrust for the arcane. So to learn more it would require a trip to the Arcane University. Which isn't very feasible at the moment.

I'm just excited that I can learn something new about the game I love. This stuff is just amazing. Recently found a book I never did find and learned about Ysmir. His legends were the start of this rabbit hole I've fallen into.

Also yes, brotherhood use powers given by Sithis to the Night Mother.

I think you mean "Nords." Autocorrect can be a problem. "Birds." Really. :D

Other magic-rich lands are Morrowind, High Rock, and The Summerset Isles.
