I'll happily take red. Grew up with the series so it's time to get in the seat! But more on the planning here since, you know, this is the idea exchange, do we have a consensus on what we're doing as far as plot? Are we leaning or are we going for a more original take? I prefer the latter but I'm fine with either, and it's also not my RP so I won't say what NEEDS to happen and what doesn't.

As far as the Mighty Morphin' goes, and feel free to give me an Agent Gibbs smack upside my head if already covered, but we're sticking with straight Zordon Era concepts, right? So no Mega Battle mode, no Battleizer, and no special Rangers (other than White and Green of course)?

Yeah as far as I am thought process wise I'm not gonna be introducing things like super modes, mega modes, battlizers, or anything else. Even our "special rangers" are only special because of how they will be introduced. Through training and building experience each ranger will have a time to shine equally. If a character for example slacks off or doesn't keep up with the team in one area it's more than likely they will either fall behind or make up for that in another way.

Right now, plotwise it's as we have on the thread.

-bad guys are coming
-trying to release Rita and Zedd
-teens wanna fight or not? (Choices and battle power will effect outcome)

Yeah But I figure if goldar comes with even a small putty battalion there is a higher chance of Zedd and Rita being freed. Having been sealed so long they would probably be in a weakened state. Probably flee to the moon. Start resting up, and start sending monsters and so our story begins.

This is all kind of circumstantial given we haven't even started it, but do you think this would be a good outline to at east use as a sort of map to beginning or story?

Also, I noticed some blockage on Ranger colours versus player demand. While I'm not trying to steer the train (it's not my train to steer), don't be afraid to say, in this case, make a new colour so that whoever reserved green gets green, but the player who is here NOW can join in on the fun. That way, whichever friend it is wanting to join may join without someone else needing to sit it out.

Unless, of course, they don't mind sitting out. I won't speak for anyone here. Just trying to see if we can all get in on the fun.

Spoke to sole first as he/she have been helpful in my planning throughout the thread and then addressed the rest of you.

Also, I wouldn't mind making a new color but I feel too many players for me gets cluttered. And I lose track of stuff and what not.

Additionally, I spoke with M, and he wouldn't mind. Also loves green and likes the idea of playing evil since he never gets to do it. Even if he has to wait for a bit. So I made sure he doesn't mind before posting here.

And I don't really enjoy the idea of more colors. It isn't my call of course, but adding a new color doesn't feel right to me. Forced, unnecessary. I ended up role playing as an assistant to the Rangers once and still had fun while it lasted, but I know it's not the same for everyone.

Zeo crystals seem plausible if located later, but otherwise nah, I don't agree. I'm still nervous about who we have already. Commitment is rare.

On the off chance a ranger died, or simply quick (or if something comes up and somebody has to leave the rp) you could take up the mantle of said ranger. I mean it's up to you. You could still join. OK, let me at least try and smooth things over.

I am not angry with anyone about this, or indeed do I put any blame on anyone at all. The problem was me neglecting to follow the thread closely enough, coupled with the fact I was offline when most of the serious movement happened. I'd rather not see people giving up their chance to be a part of this RP just so I can be involved, nor do I want the whole thing shaken up just to try and accommodate me. Because really demanding that people radically alter an RP or indeed any project to suit one person is quite frankly one of the most selfish things you can do in any creative endeavour.

So while I will definitely be following the game and hope that everyone involved enjoys it, that's why I'm stepping back into the shadows.
