@Lady Selune I've been rethinking my character idea a little and was wondering if I could be allowed to still make a priest but have them be old and somewhat of a scarred veteran under the name of "Elder Harrison" aka "crazy old man harrison who has some how survived being a guardsman". Something to that affected, I'm mostly interested if I can make the priest an old paranoid man or similar.

So is that a no to just the age or the entire idea of the priest? Sorry, I don't think I completely understand that statement.

Although I don't see why a new regiment would not be allowed to have an old priest tag along. Its not like priests are recruited by the Militarum anyways.

Priest is fine, age isn't. The reason why a new regiment doesn't have an old priest is if he's like, 50+, he's too old to serve effectively. If he's under that, he should have been recruited earlier.

Ideally two more people would be great, but if we only get one more then that's fine. I'll be running a squad of ten, so that means we'll have three generic spares for anyone to use, including the vox caster. We embark onto the transport ship at 03/2/17.

@Noxious Dude, nice. She looks like a nifty character. Speaking of games you may or may not want to be roped into, a semi-reboot of An Unholy Mass and an Ecclesiarchal-but-mostly-Adepta Sororitas RP is going on, if you're interested.

@Lady Selune It's just occurred to me, but as far as Commissars attached to IG squads go, do they consider the Lieutenant in charge of that squad's platoon their Lieutenant, or a Lieutenant? Because that necessarily decides whether Dale refers to Alexis as "Louise" or "ma'am". And for a similar spur-of-the-moment thought (pun partially intended), I'd like to request an expansion of your earlier Texan IG ranking list to include Corporals, Majors, and Colonels, since those appear to be ranks that remain in-regiment, as it were; Generals might warrant a Texan rank too, but from what I can tell, they exist beyond the regimental level and presumably control regiments coming from more than just a single planet at any given time, thus removing that degree of familiarity.

@Lady Selune I'll go with "ma'am" IC, then. It flows off the tongue better, frankly, and in my mind it doesn't necessarily make sense for somebody outside the usual command order to refer to somebody as their superior when they're technically parallel military groups.
