@Mokley hmmmm… i gotta think about what to do with arty… because the most in character thing for her to do would be to run. she doesn't have enough skin in the game to be forced to choose a side, but she's also gonna be freaked out by this massive fight and loss of life and be uncomfortable with it. i gotta find some way for arty to have a stake in things…

@c3p-0h The battle could simply serve the purpose of instilling awareness of how dire the situation is. Running is a perfectly viable option if that's what she'd do. Arty's story thus far is one of survival -- which kinda gives me an idea. :3

@Mokley ok so i wanna have arty go in and investigate the big statue but i feel like that post by itself would be hecka short. so what should she expect when she goes in so i can write it and continue the post?

@c3p-0h Totally cool! The statue is of the previous Lady of Light. I'm imagining the building to be vaguely Japanese-style Buddhist. So, you have creative license on that front. :)

Is there a single item that she wants or needs most? She could find that here, as well, no matter how out of place.

@Mokley well, the thing about finding a thing she wants or needs… i don't know? >.< i'm terribly uncreative when it comes to things like that lmao. i was making a list to myself of what she's pilfered so far in the town and she's got less cumbersome/dirty/identifiable clothes, a glowy rock, food stuffs, a knife, and whatever various odds and ends she managed to snatch in the kitchen (probably nothing fancy… some containers maybe, a pencil (because she can't just keep drawing things with soot and smashed fruit)) and overall excluding the glowy rock it's all pretty mundane. which isn't something i'm complaining about (i'm the one who did that to her lol).

but i'm game for her finding something ~~special~~ in the temple (i go to a japanese-style buddhist temple once a year so i at least have experience to draw from for the design lol (why am i abusing parenthesis so much)). i just… need ideas as to what it could be >.<

i'm more of a reactionary person when i write lol. you give me a situation, yeah i can write cool ways out of it. you make me come up with shit on my own? hell naw. alas, tis my downfall as an rp'er.

1) i swear to god the toe grabbing thing she did is a legitimate thing, i do it all the time with stuff i'm too lazy to pick up off the ground and whenever i do it in front of mainlanders they look at me like i shot laserbeams out of my eyes. i think maybe it's a hawaii/asian skill? idk. but it's a thing, i promise.

2) the pocketwatch arty grabbed doesn't have to be magical or anything, i more just wrote that in because mok was saying you're more of a reactionary writer so i figured i'd throw in a surprise for you to… react to? >.< do with it what you will

also, i've been designing more of arty's runes! i tried my hand at the ones for fire and wood too, but they're technically your runes so i was wondering if you wanted to design them instead lol. plus if someone else draws them, then they'll look more distinct from arty's style.
