If we are going to have a rival marine crew it would be kind of interesting if someone knew Anna when they were kids. They would more than likely be her rival in that case though.

And I think if we are going to have a rival crew, everyone should play a counter to another person's character, not there own. I hate making two of my own characters interact unless I have to. (That is my personal opinion though.)

Well I made a rival for Abigail, so who wants to make Hunter's rival? If we do a round robin of rivals that should avoid people having to double up.

Adding onto the rival crew bit, everyone can make a rival for their own character and simply have that rival played by someone else or by me, if they want of course, not mandatory.

Personality: Alphie usually wears a blank expression. It is hard for most people to read his mood or anything about him when he isn’t speaking. When speaking his facial expressions will change just enough for him to be able to convey emotion through his voice. He likes thing to be organized and gets a little uptight when things aren’t where they are supposed to be.

Bio: Alphie was born in a small village on an island he refuses to disclose. He lived a simple life until a group of pirates came and attempted to take over the village, believing it’s people safe guarded a vast treasure, as well as a Millenium Dragon. The villages relief came only when a group of Marines put an end to the pirates rampage. After that Alphie’s dream was to become a Marine.

He left home at the age of 14 in search of a swordsman who was willing to train him. It wasn’t until 2 years later, at the age of 16, that he found someone he believed would train him to be the best. While with his master he also learned a thing or two about cooking. Alpha soon realized that cooking allowed him to relax and also allowed him to practice a bit of knife play on the side. The only time anyone ever sees him smile is when he is cooking.

He joined the Marines at the age of 18, though he was still only proficient in swordsmanship by then. He was however, an excellent cook. Starting off as his ship’s cook as he honed his skills he was in a decent place, though he wanted to be more than just the cook. He trained for several more years, moving up the ranks at a rather steady pace until he finally landed himself a spot just bellow that of a captain.

I think it might be a bit cliched (or perhaps a better word would be uninteresting) to have every crew member have a direct rival in this marine crew, so I think I won't partake in making a rival character. If GM really wants to make me one though, I won't complain.

I kind of agree with @hozan about the cliched thing, still I'll try and make one when I have time but they probably won't be a rival for the most part

Name: Richard 'The Longshaft' Johnson

Age: 40

Gender: Male

Appearance: Standing at 6 feet tall with a muscular build, he isn't easy to miss in a crowd, especially with his clean shaven face and scalp which seems to shine in the light as if he polished it.

Personality: He is very arrogant and cocky and always walks like he's a peacock. He takes pride in his work and has an enormous ego. But after his many years of service he deserves every bit of it.

Bio: His life started out like most others. He was born on a small island where his family raised chickens, he always used to live playing with his own rooster. When he was 16 he left to join the Marines. After years of service under many officers on many ships and bases, he finally was promoted to Lieutenant stationed at a small out of the way base. While there he was on patrol when the rest of the garrison, besides his men who were with him on patrol, were killed by an unknown party.

After that incident his name was basically dragged through the mud. His superiors believed him and his men to be responsible and had the help of a pirate crew to do so. But no charges were formally given which did not stop the runours about him getting out of hand. Still the rumours are there, but he learned how to ignore them. He now serves proudly on a Marine Patrol Vessel in charge of the gun crew and boarding parties.

Inventory: Collapsible spear which at its shortest is like a short sword and at its longest a normal sized spear as well as two pistols on his belt.

Role in Crew: Gunnery Lieutenant/ Boarding Party Leader.
