Young mages have successfully eluded one mortal threat through the conveniently provided portal, but they weren't out of metaphorical woods yet. The escapees have barely managed to catch their breath when a new and unexpected threat emerged - one that was quite a bit more insidious, subtle, vicious and, in the long run, probably much more deadly than flying bullets and exploding shrapnel. Thankfully, by far not all of its current victims had senses acute enough to perceive and register the danger on any meaningful level - but those who could see it might have quickly wished they hadn't. For some fleeting moments, maybe three or at most five or six seconds that still whizzed past unnaturally quickly, Gavin, Mitsuki and Morgana were witnesses to a peculiar, unmistakably magical occurence:

Directly above them, maybe three or four meters in the air, сoiling, pulsating and imperceptibly shimmering on the nonexistent breeze, floated an iridiscent, starry mass, looking down at them through a mass of unblinking eyes that littered its strangely shaped surface, the whole eldritch ensemble looking quite like a cropped two-dimensional picture stapled onto the sky by an unskilled but enthusiastic photoshop user. One'd think that simply sighting such a surreal thing would be more than enough contact for a lifetime, but unfortunately, the eye cloud seemed to have a different opinion. Quicker than in a blink of an eye, the celestial blob descended upon the gathering of mages - or rather, it somehow transferred from hanging lazily in the air to completely enveloping the escapees without any intermediate steps. Three persons who had the capability to see it understood immediately that the cloud wasn't perceivable by any senses other than sight, which meant that it was obviously some sort of ethereal being or magical construct as opposed to simply something invisible, and that realization made looking at what followed much more nauseating.

The eyes inbetween the glittering stars faintly lit up as they assembled in small groups around the heads of everyone present, both mages and mundane mortals - but, as Gavin, Mitsuki and Morgana noted, paying the former much more attention - and then extended from their pupils thin, pitch black tendrils that looked like little, wriggling tears in the reality, not merely having no colour but consuming light from their surroundings. Obviously enough, those tendrils were supposed to plunge into the eyes and ears of people present, which they immediately did, seemingly without dealing any discomfort to their oblivious victims, then rapidly bulging and anchoring themselves like blood ticks digging into skin of their host. Two sole exceptions among the whole crowd of people on the marketplace were O'Ryan and Eric - for some weird reason, the eyes did not even attempt to probe them. Instead, the star-cloud simply increased its volume in the space around their heads, dozens of small eyes lining up over their skulls and staring so very intently one'd think that they were trying to pierce the bone with sheer ferocity of their gazes.

Then, after no more than a few seconds - the whole process, startling as it was, took no more than several moments - the eyes and the tendrils withdrew back into their amorphous parent, which, in turn, shrinked into a tiny glittering dot which zoomed across the air and into the teeming masses of marketplace's many customers, after which the three scrutinous mages have sensed an almost audible ethereal "pop", signifying an end of a magical effect - as if someone simply flipped a switch and sorcery ceased to exist in the vicinity.

Of course, from the looks of it it was impossible to precisely explain what just took place, but, as one could safely assume, the cloud has just now... probed the skulls of all beings present in a massive part of the bazaar - Jon Bethelem, being somewhat versed in the matters needed for precise examination of such phenomena, could have probably attested to it, had he actively monitored the movements of sorcerous energies at the time. Without active scrutiny, however, he still managed to feel that a certain force of unclear nature gently, briefly pressed down on his mind - like a soft, delicate hand lightly squeezing a wet sponge soaked in water, immediately forcing it to leak liquid after only slight pressure before immediately withdrawing. The rest of the mages, and other people in the vicinity did not register the horror at all, oblivious to it and its effects or, at best simply realizing that they've just forgotten some very trivial and unmeaningful thing.

For the trio that saw the dreadful process take place, however, the implications were grave. Were they the primary target, or was it a natural occurence in these parts of Greece? Was this eldritch cloud malevolent or simply possessing of unknown yet harmless motives? What other sorts of horrors lurked nearby, invisible and imperceptible until the very moment they struck? The questions issued forth like a stream, yet answers were in no way obvious. In fact, chances were there were no clues at all...

Morgana Estrain

Morgana stopped upon seeing a rune she'd written, Marcus's time stop rune! She glanced around through the refracted view of her barrier and activated it, even with the anti-magic everywhere the magic she'd released into the air was more than enough to make the spell function properly, almost at full strength. She hurriedly moved out of the shield and saw the portal, several people already through, Morgana ran into the portal, entering it a split second after the rune she'd used wore off and time returned to normal, the chaotic scene returning to normal and overwhelming her with another burst of noise as she popped through the portal.

Into a crowd of people! Morgana tried backing away but there were people everywhere. Her eyes caught a trace of something odd above her and she looked up to see something that did not belong. Magic had been confusing but she'd slowly accepted what she knew of it and used it to protect herself. The history that she'd been raised on was wrong and she'd accepted that. But this was too much. A flat plane of an unbearable deep and cold part of space was above them and in the next instant, was on them. They were surrounded by dark, confusing unknown. Then it plunged light absorbing tentacles into her eyes.

Morgana let out a whimper and sunk to the ground whispering words too quiet to hear, a crystal-like barrier spring up from earth and enclosing her. While Morgana had protection from general magic and many specific types of harm, mental warfare was something she had not prepared for. The warzone she'd been thrown into after having to leave her home and travel to a new place, barely escaping and finding herself surrounded by more people like the ones that had just tried to kill her and then being probed by some sort of thing that didn't belong in this world, it was suffice to say that introverted book-worm Morgana had had enough.

Marcus Nickleson

Lil' Post theme

He had fired, and the bullets began to fly with more rapidity. Marcus' heart raced back and forth on repeat, as if a broken, scratched-up CD repeating a single phrase from a single song. It was crazy, how quickly everything escalated. He heard voices in his mind, cursing him of potential traitor-ship. But he thought to himself that this wasn't what they might be suspecting; this was all part of the plan and briefing he faced with Agent Grant from the Intelligence Bureau after his shocking discovery as a Magi power-holder. Not the finest man to meet, but surely one that can be bargained with when it comes to the fairness of the deal. And the deal was to learn about them, and their intentions. This was rushed, and that message clearly wasn't from Agent Grant, no doubt. He continued to ponder in his mind as he looked between Mitsuki and Gavin. Perhaps they'd be kind enough to let a little stress be taken off o-

A pain struck his upper-arm as he fell back, a searing pain starting to shudder his bones and muscles. It stun, and began to hurt like any hell on earth. To make matters worse, a second slammed into his ribs. He stumbled backwards, barely on his feet as the shock absorbed throughout his muscles and brought agony into his head. His feet almost collapsed as he fell in a semi-fit directly in front o Mitsuki, who seemed very preoccupied with the chaos unfolding. He began to quickly bellow out in pain and surprise, before quickly being silenced by his own voice. Everything went dark...Quickly.

Time passed, and suddenly, he felt a strange light seep into his face. It seemed natural light, yet somewhat produced by anything other than the sun itself. A distant, gentle wind blew through his ears, and a sound of cold water streaming down a brook flustered through his mind. There was tranquillity in the noise, and beauty in the sounds. Fixating his mindset on what he could he, Marcus felt a smile creep onto his face. What was really happening? As his vision grew clearer, he could make out a garden, simply surrounded by what seemed to be clouds. It was a peaceful place, one that Marcus had chosen to dream about when he was younger. It was his calm-place, his rehabilitation within his dreams. But why was he here now? Was he...Dead? A voice cracked out behind him.

"I brought you somewhere you can relax, Marcus." It was haunting, and familiar to the point where a fake shudder shot up and down his spine. Well, it wasn't really...Because he was in this strange, mystical land. Behind him, he turned to face, was the distorted figure of a winged being. It was strange, still quite difficult to make out. As if blurry constantly, he felt as if it were quite shocking to look at once more. "Do not fret, Marcus. Your hands are not bound by misguidance that those of superiority. You still remain in safe hands."

"W-What...Why am...Why am I here? It feels...Like I was shocked, almost to death." He moved his hand towards his head, but upon touching his tense mind he felt nothing. There was no sense of touch, only sound and sight. It was quite daunting to feel, and it convinced him further that his time had passed onto the afterlife. "Gavin...Eric...Mitsuki? Where are they, are they okay?"

"There are a few who may not have met the same fate as yourself...You were lucky to have raised that Earth-Wave before they had a chance to grab you Marcus. You also played a dangerous game showing commitment to your newfound friends."

"D-Dangerous game? I nearly got myself killed! And...I was...Keeping myself a low profile...Well...I need to keep myself aligned with them to gain more...Information, right?" His voice was jittery, all over the place with conflict battling within his mind. As he thought, the world began to shift around him. Parts of the trees were now replaced with metropolitan buildings and flags of a familiar government. Darkness shrouded over it, as the other side of the brook showed peaceful beginnings, with Magi roaming among the human race. It seemed odd, as no message was getting to him.

"Marcus...You are following what you believe is right, but something is telling you to do so otherwise, isn't it? Fear. Confusion. Hatred. Affection. A lot is telling you to do what we've gifted you with, but the rest is telling you to follow papers and folders directing you crimes that'll only lead to the punishment of others. You fight for a freedom, yes? America is not what you called Free. We watched you, when you were training...You spoke of how you fought for something different, certain people who suffer, not the country itself. And yet...now you decide to turn to your country, the one you do not hail from, in a time of despair for the Human race?"

These riddles began to toy with his mind. His morals were being played with, as Marcus paced back and forth. The city and the garden soon started to decay away with each step. They disappeared into thin air, almost completely vanishing from existence. He stopped, eyeing the figure once more. She was distorted still, blurry and almost strange to muse about. Her form was almost odd. He thought of what he wanted, and she once told him she'd take that figure. But his mind was something different, and what he'd want, and what the Malakim would become, would really start to control his morals and gestures towards life itself...As well as his actions.

"Will...Will I wake up? Will I see those who've I only just fought alongside?" He could sense a smile coming from the figure, despite it practically being against all visual representations. It was strange to somehow see the unseeable, and dream of such a nostalgic place during a melancholic time. It was continuing to make him feel ill, even when he was knocked out cold by a shock that ruined his ability to help the others...He owed them an apology for this. But there was no answer, only a chuckle. It felt like hours were beginning to tick by without a response.

"Will I wake up?"

Alexander would take Jon's hand, smiling, while Ascot stared at the other guy qizzically. The former would then turn towards Aden, then say:

"Yeah, that's me, my name is Alexander Sky." Gavin, meanwhile, heard O'Ryan's words, then said:

"We'd best find a place to rest and take refuge -" but more complications came when an eldritch-looking magical construct wafted up to the group, extracting...something from their minds. He was frightened now, unsure of himself, and he felt bile rise up in his throat as he realized the magnitude of both the task and threats facing him, which included not just people armed with anti-magic weapons, but also the enemy's own Magi.

And, as he looked behind him, Gavin would realize that Eric, their savior, as well as Desmond, were now lost to capture or worse. Morgana, meanwhile, had put herself in a cocoon of solidified Mana, and did not look like she was going to get out.

"Get it together," Alexander said, his spectral arm vanishing as it was morning in Epirus. "Ascot and the other Mind Magi among us can keep the crowds from finding out about us. In the meantime, resolve this."

Gavin nodded, and then went over to Morgana's cocoon, knocking with his right fist.

"Morgana, we need to get moving; we won't be safe here forever..."

Then, in yet another dramatic complication, Mitsuki began going berserk and trying to kill everyone. In response to this, Alexander, pissed off, used World Magic to envelop Mitsuki in a tornado, then drop her into the ground with enough force to knock her unconcious and perhaps break a few bones. He can do this without guilt because Ascot knew how to magically heal people.

He would then turn to Leon's Robot/Golem/Drone, the one which used magic and science in tandem.

"We need to find a quick way out of the town, Leon. Can you help us?"

Aden cringed away from the surge of violence and general... upset, that struck several members of the group suddenly, but finding the man (kid really) he'd been looking for kept him from disappearing. These people were like him, or he assumed they were given they were traveling together even if he hadn't seen all of them use any magic.

They didn't seem to be in a position to hold any introductory talks, so Aden just nodded a greeting and fell in at the edges of the group. One of the girl's losing her mind was swiftly dealt with through a show of force, which he was quick to take note of. The hierarchy here seemed to be led by violence. He took a more defensive, hostile stance, eyeing those nearby in case they thought they'd try and make him their bitch. Aden answered to no one, especially not a bunch of jacked up kids with superhero complexes. He'd see how things ran, for now, but he was already devising a plan of attack in case he needed to escape. Or take control.

First impressions are killer.

He adjusted his sunglasses, which would have been a subtle threat if anyone had been aware of his abilities, but otherwise made no move to interfere with the group dynamic. They could sort themselves out, and then they'd get on their way, and then he could decide if these were really the kind of people he wanted to involve himself with.

Charles would simply groan in his unconscious state.

The Outside Help

The Golem would be watching the actions happening infront of it, including the mysterious creature. of course thanks to it just being a tool it wasn't affected by any mind effects. It would turn towards Alexander and a voice would be heard "How is it you know who I am?" he would ask with a raised brow, it ruined his plans some which he didn't like that they already knew his name. He was just going to use his online name to be called by but it was quickly ruined. The golem would raise it's arm and starts tapping on the screen, and then a hologram would emit out from the golem's mask infront of it with a map of the area. "Here is map of the surrounding area" he states then taps a couple more time and red lines would form on the 3-D hologram "Cording to my machines these are the quickest routes from our current coordinates" he states. "I could try to see if I can get us a hideout for the time being if need be" The golem would respond. "I wont be able to send anything like physical supplies or tools for two or three hours thanks to us now being in a different country and for my other machine to return".

O'Ryan Cooper

O'Ryan immediately began to coordinate and search for an exit through the town, it was best to get into the countryside. More places to better hide from being tracked. The only problem was, he didn't understand Greek in the slightest. And he doubted the common person on the island would just speak English, or even French for that matter. It was going to be a bit of a pain to do this, but he had to make sure whoever these strangers were got away safely. Plus getting out would require a bit of muscle and a bit of shoving to make it to a place where they could hunker down and think of a clear game plan.

Jon Bethlehem approaches and raps on the crystalline structure encasing Morgana and jokingly says in a terrible french accent
"Room Service for Mademoiselle Morgana."
Seeing obviously that she cannot be roused by simple request he changes tactics, shifting the tone of his voice into a melodic and undulating tone. It feels to those around him as if a gentle finger strokes the many intricate folds of their brains and a sense of calm washes over the hearts of his magi spectators and target.
"Morgana you need to come out, we're all waiting for you. All of your friends are here, and they believe in you."
He motions to his fellow mages and causes a few illusory figures to flicker in the mind of Morgana.
"We're all counting on you, because you're one of the most important members of the team, without you we're hopeless."
Turning to the rest of the group he says in hushed tones
"Alright maybe she'll be getting out of bed very shortly." glancing over at the limp form of Mitsuki he remarks
"What's the deal with her? Anyways I'm glad I didn't have to deal with her, she seems a bit incorrigible to say the least."

Morgana Estrain

Tapping against the crystal and speaking seemed to have little effect for both parties who attempted it. However upon the feeling of magic playing upon her mind Morgana flinched from within the barrier. It would have been calming perhaps if the words had been more targetted. However Morgana certainly did not consider herself part of any sort of team, the magic and the figures that came with it merely compounding on how vulnerable she felt. Morgana stood up, her barrier re-orienting itself around her. It would be invisible to mortals but to everyone else it would likely look quite strange, given it was pinkish-red crystal simply standing there. A flat voice came from within, somewhat muted but understandable enough. "Don't mess with my head." She'd been unprepared. So unprepared for all of this. So many unexpected things had happened. The crystal rotated briefly. Fenris? Where was Fenris. ... Well that was too bad. Mitsuki was on the ground for some reason. Nobody else was moving. Morgana stood in silence waiting for some sort of input to guide her, like some sort of robot.

"Thank you anyway," Alexander said to Leon, "while as for how I knew, well, let's just say that I talk with ghosts, like Charles here can."

In the meantime, Ascot was going to heal Mitsuki, while talking to Aden at the same time:

"Mr. Ross, sorry for the bad impression my brother made; it's just that our group had encountered...problems and this one promised to balloon into a crisis." It may not be satisfying, but it covered all the relevant points. Ascot could do nothing more as he healed Mitsuki's broken bones and internal bleeding, soothing her body, and hopefully her mind. He dared not use telepathy in case he roused recent traumas.

Gavin, as Jon tried to get Morgana out, looked at Marcus, and wondered: Was he having his own 'VIsitation'?

Then...Jon's attempt to get Morgana out failed. Thankfully, Gavin had taken note of Leon's conversation with Alex, and, turning towards them, said:

"All right, I don't want to have to do this, but I'm going to 'gate' Morgana's crystal out of the village." He would then take out a small mirror from his pocket, and activate his scrying spell, finding a set of caves outside the town. Then, the young man would create another blue circular gateway, and 'push' it towards Morgana's position, engulfing the crystal that enclosed her form and transporting it to a cavern. Then, after that, he would rotate the portal to face the group, then say:

"All right; Alexander, me, and a few volunteers would take Charles, Marcus, and Mitsuki through the portal, while Ascot, Jon, and O'Ryan," he indicated to the well-built blond, "will go with Leon's drone through the town, where they will continue using cantrips and spells to make sure that the villagefolk will continue to refrain from being suspicious." In response, Alexander was already going to Charles' prone body in order to carry it like a sack, while lifting Mitsuki and Marcu's larger bodies with a small anti-gravity bubble.

Then Gavin, Alexander, and whoever chose to go with them will go, leaving Ascot, O'Ryan, and Jon to do thier duties.

'Mr. Ross' he'd said, it sounded so formal, as if they were business associates. Aden raised an eyebrow, but let it go; at least he knew these were the right people. Probably. They knew his name anyway. He didn't like the way this was going though, what sort of 'problems' were they up against here? Why were people freaking out and why were they in Greece? These people were speaking English, and there was little evidence anyone was familiar with this place, so why come? What was with the portals? Were they running from something?

Somehow this meeting was shaping up to be about as dangerous as he suspected, but not quite in the way he'd been imagining.

He stayed closer to the healer than anyone else, mostly because they all seemed... strange. Except for the one dubbed O'Ryan, he looked very adult-y and put together. Someone was ordering the group around, taking the violent one and some of their downed members away to... somewhere. He decided to avoid that group, not that going with the mind-control group sounded at all enticing. What had he gotten himself into now?

He crossed his arms and tried to look both tough and non-threatening, ending up with an uncomfortable grimace instead of either. He could feel the threat of getting mind-whammied or thrashed with a tornado hanging over his head if he stepped on any toes. Whose bright idea was it to bring magic back again? Someone stupid, that's who.

@olcharlieboi
As Leon was hard at work in his... secret lair, a habitat concealed from everyone but his family and their most trusted companions, the boy probably did not even think about the possibility of anything going wrong - an attitude completely justified by his lifestyle and conditions. Yet, as it is often the case, every rule is bound to eventually have an exception, every system, a glitch, every fortification, a weak spot.

At a certain point throughout his day, Leon, as per usual busy with monitoring the faraway events through the eyes of his golem and toiling away for the good of his family, would have had an unexpected visitor. The first thing he felt was a little, barely perceivable pinprick on the back of his neck, an inconsequential, casual harbinger of the news to come. Later on, Leon would come to realise, that for the period of visitation he could not move a single inch - only to sit, or stand, or lie in the position it caught him in, incapable of as much as blinking or moving his eyes or, in fact, any sort of activity except for slow and steady breathing, not even perspiration or salivating. In the hindsight, if there was a single good thing about the visit, it was that it was extremely brief - no longer than a minute or so, in fact.

A voice emanated from somewhere around his left ear, slightly raspy yet somehow oddly pleasant to hear - while its source was unseen no matter how hard Leon might have tried to see it, the voice itself, lush, insinuating and silken, if such adjectives could even be applicable, poured into his ear like golden molasses, its tone and cadence so very obviously implying a great degree of care and affection for the listener it felt almost like Leon was about to be embraced by a kindly angel:

"Asteroth is an unusual name, 'Zero'." The voice warbled. "A name fit for a duke, sho. Some say... Astarte, and some say Ishtar and some say Inanna..."

There was a quiet tapping sound emanating from behind Leon's back - as if someone wearing old fashioned hobnailed boots lumbered around for a bit to change his footing or as if someone stood up from a chair to move it around a bit for added comfort. Then, the voice proceeded.

"Break off the lock, wrest open the gate, yes? Be strong, lest you allow love to perish. Go outside. You missed a lot. I've brought a souvenir so you won't feel left out, sho."

There was a slight pause after which Leon heard a quiet, almost inaudible sigh and another pinprick on his neck - and then, just like that, everything was back to normal. Turning around, he could see naught but his usual living space - with a single new addition.

On the floor, right beneath his feet, there was a lockbox made from ivory and redwood - carrying no fingerprints or any traces of organic matter on its surface, as the expertise would later show. On the lid, carved into the wood with great diligence, was a short message.

"Two rings, ringfingers and red lips,
A godly gift for thee.
A sinew rope - for your whole world
To hang upon a tree."

No matter what Leon would have done after the visitation - eventually, at some point, he would open it and see what was inside.

The message on the lid was only partly true, and really quite misguiding. Whatever poet wrote it was obviously not very good at his job.
Inside, on a padding of black felt, were indeed situated two rings - engagement rings of Leon's parents, in fact, as he might have known or learned at a later date. Their ring fingers were also present, along with two pairs of lips, all neatly put onto a string of sinew, making for an oddly tasteful, if somewhat macabre necklace. However, in addition to those little trophies, the box also contained two tongues and two differently coloured eyeballs - one from each of his parents, as Leon could understand between the involuntary vomiting spasms as his considerable intellect raced, capable of working splendidly even in such a grave situation. Along with eyes, there was a smattering of teeth, glued tastefully to the bottom of the compartment to form a happy smiling face together, and many other, smaller and less consequential details, unified only by the right of having been human bodyparts at a certain point in time.

Eventually and obviously, Leon would be alerted to the fact that someone grievously assaulted his parents a little bit earlier that day - camera footage showed the recordings of a lean, beautiful if a little bit effeminate man with long, waist-length hair dyed green, in his early twenties, and clad in a casual jeans-and-white-shirt ensemble. Said man, without any attempts to hide his face or conceal himself, was doing horrible and unmentionable things to Leon's mother and father for about two to three minutes before gingerly collecting the grisly spoils into the aforementioned lockbox and calmly leaving the field of view, literal moments before the security guards barged in.

Leon would learn that the condition of his family is not critical nor life-threatening, even though as of now both were in a catatonic state due to the experience - but what was that worth with the degree of mutilation and psychological trauma suffered? Even more importantly, what was that worth with Leon's entire way of life being so easily compromised by a culprit he could not even see coming? Who in the world except for very few chosen ones could know of where he dwells and who he is and could commit such an atrocity? Who could bypass each and every devious, horrendously expensive and reliable defence and security measure his parents' household and his own habitat had installed? Why would someone do this to him?
All those questions had no answers yet - and might not receive any at all...

Morgana frowned as Gavin's magic surrounded her and transported her to some unknown location. How incredibly rude of him. She could've canceled his scrying magic and intercepted his gate, but to be honest, she didn't care. She would be safe here, she'd make sure of it. Morgana took out a piece of chalk and set to work creating her circle. She had to create more protection. By the time anything else happened she'd be prepared. Plus with Gavin's quickly scribed magic magic available she could even observe from here and return on her own if she so desired. This time would be used to prepare.

Marcus Nickleson

He sat in a metaphorical corner, one that was not really there. He imagined there would be one. He could imagine whatever he wanted here, as he was in his own deep thoughts. The being, now less distorted that before, fluttered around him occasionally, throwing a question towards Marcus to try and learn more about what he did. It questioned his actions that he had done, in that battle, where he sacrificed the trust he had to simply assist a random group of strangers. He answered with instinct, and the female being called him out for avoiding telling the truth. It was a tense conversation...

The two stared at one another, in silence. Marcus was still trying to figure things out within his mind. It was confusing, threatening to his sanity as to why this had happened to him. Everything had gone from the United Kingdom to Australia within three weeks. He had no idea what was happening to his body, or anything in the real world. Marcus was sat, almost trapped and isolated, within his own presence and mind. That spooked him quite severely. All this magic stuff seemed to be a myth to him still, even though he'd effectively managed to cast several spells and abilities to himself, as well as openly. Everything was confusing, terrifying and stressful all in one basket. But the noise of confliction stopped when he heard the voice once more, seeping from the lips of the beautiful angelic being.

"Marcus...You know...It's time to wake up. You've had long enough to think."

"W-Wait...no no...I'm...I'm not ready...I still need to think things through a-" He was cut off by a soothing giggle, replicating the sweet voice of another member of the Magi he had met when awake. It soothed him slightly, before he listened without interruption.

"We can prepare you further, Marcus...You're gonna be able to discover two more...Abilities...But until then...Wake up, Marcus. You have people waiting for you." Before he had a chance to respond, he could feel the imaginary world around him begin to break apart into fragments of the unknown. Everything was becoming white, and he was unable to see for a small fraction of a second. That was until he saw it...The world around him.

Marcus slowly sat up, within the cave that they were in. Well...They sure had made some progress since the fight. He slowly looked around, seeing a Mitsuki near him, seeming to be rambling on about something. His ears weren't fully working, as a deep murmur and blurry tone came from everyone's mouths. Everyone...Not everyone was here? There was a lot of people missing, which suddenly struck Marcus' expression. His face dropped greatly...What had happened?

Hidden Anger

Leon wouldn't be able to understand how anyone could of gotten into his home, as his golem would seem to go immobile for a few moments. He had reinforced the security himself with his own tools making where the alarms should go off when ever it detects a foreign body in the complex, his anger would build considerably, so much so his golem's monitor would be letting out a redder light than the regular blue. After the situation he would shake his head, already planning to destroy what ever had dared to enter his home. He would click a few things on the golem's arm monitor and it's body would change colors to fit that of a police man and the proper language of police would begin to cycle through it's screen. "People tend to unconsciously trust policemen even if it's not an actual policeman, so this should help out slightly" he says, simply relying on his own studies. As he would turn towards the ones who was assigned with him "guess we should get to work, to keep the herd calm" he states out.

Alexander fully met Mitsuki's gaze, before saying:

"I didn't see any thing or creature, so from my point of view, you just went berserk, and your arms began glowing with silver streaks even Nonmagi can see, after which you began swinging your sword around out of nowhere, in a place with innocent people present." Turning to Gavin, the young man would then say: "You can see all Magic, right? What did happen? Are we still in danger?"

"There was...a starry cloud that was also dotted with eyes, something from Lovecraft's novels," was the blond's reply. "This cloud drifted closer to us, and the eyes, from their pupils, extended tendrils that seemed like moving rifts into the void of voids. It entered our eyes; there was no pain, no discomfort, but it was still...eerie." A note of fear was in the eighteen-year old boy's voice. Then, he looked at Mitsuki, his eyes soft and sad.

"You went irate, then, ranting about how whatever...probed us should get out of your head, how you would kill them. Your arms weren't just glowing, you were gathering enough energy to nuke the Epirote village you were in, us, and yourself, too. Alexander could have handled it a lot better, but he saved all of us when he lifted you up with wind and crashed you down." Gavin continued to look at Mitsuki, then Morgana, not sure what to say to the latter. Thankfully, that was where Alexander came in, saying to the teenaged girl as a breeze blew into the cave's mouth:

"Morgana, that's your name, right? We're sorry for how we had to handle things back at the time, but public use of magic will only bring more problems for us," The young man then paused. "And we have too many problems already. Anyway," he continued, "my name is Alexander Sky."

"Speaking of problems," Gavin said, "what happened was bad. We were faced by enemies who knew how to negate our magic, treachery from among our ranks, and we've become fugitives from the law." Seeing that Marcus was awake, Gavin continued:

"I was over-enthusiastic about this entire business, over-enthusiastic about finding these mysterious 'Tablets of Ararat', and I put all of you in danger for that. I am sorry about this, but my apologies mean nothing without actions." Looking at the group, from Mitsuki, Morgana, Marcus, and Charles, who should be awakening right now, Gavin would continue:

"Which is why at the next opportunity, I am going to turn myself in. If we're being probed and watched even here, then we're not as far away from our pursuers as we thought. And when I turn myself in, I will take full responsibility, I will tell them that it was I who gathered you guys here, and even that it was me who almost nuked the village. I will plead with them to let you off easily and to spare you from punishment."

Group O'Ryan

Jon, Ascot, Aden, O'Ryan, and Leon's drone would be strolling through the small Epirote village, with the task of selling the 'we are here to make a movie' story. Then, they would all be approached by an actual policeman, the village's resident Police officer, who then said:

"I didn't recall the mayor giving permission for a movie crew to set up here. Can I see your papers?" The middle-aged man, his olive-skinned features lined with wrinkles that were emphasized by a frown, "and I don't recall a new member of the force being assigned to this village," he said to Leon's drone.

Jon had appropriate papers, same for Aden, who would show his own documentation to the policeman, who was still suspicious of the rest of the 'crew and actors'. But, while the group was dealing with miutinae, they would notice that the villagers were slowly slipping back to their homes, and locking the doors behind them. Ascot had also disappeared...only to come back, handcuffed, and escorted by two men in black suits, with dark glasses and earpieces. They seemed armed only with pistols, but the bulge of ballistics jackets can be seen underneath their suit, ballistics jackets that Leon's drone can sense was resistant to magical senses, appearing as a green-white, opaque spot that masked any specific details.

The same material that the Anti-Magic Units that had attacked them just earlier wore. The agent to the right of Ascot, a white, black-haired man with somewhat curly hair, would then say:

"We found this boy trying to slip out of this village. Let's just say that with...people like you, we can't be too careful." And one would notice that Ascot's cuffs were made of that same ceramic material that negated Magic.

"Now," the agent - for this was obviously an agent - continued, "the mayor of this village has lent us his residence so that we can have a little chat. Would you be so kind as to accompany us and this boy?"

Apollo

Apollo, wherever he was, would find his phone number called.

"Hello, Apollo," was the response should the psychologist answer. "This is the Director." FBI Director Andrew Wren was one of the people in the US Government who had urged negotiation first before going in all guns blazing. He had been overruled yesterday, but it was clear that he had bounced back from that minor setback.

"Just thought you should know that the CIA has a few people in Greece already seeking out the Necromateion. They've captured a young boy who had also been seen in Brightwell earlier; they say he had tried to turn himself in as well. Now, they're trying to get the rest of the group to surrender, but I'm afraid they might try for a quick nabbing if things don't go their way. So, I have to request your services in negotiation and psychology, and, if a certain friend of yours is ready to act, perhaps his help as well?"
