Like Mega Man X style action, (almost) bizarrely specific, anime style super powers, and futuristic, metropolitan settings? Well, if you do, welcome! Hi, how are you? Doing well I hope. Thanks for showing up! Now, on to the story bits-
Adepts- Individuals with superhuman powers. These powers, called Septima (or Septimal Powers) come from cells called Septisomes, the configuration of which allows the Adept to control the elements, manipulate technology, grants psyonic abilities, or shape reality. However, each Septima only effects one unique area, regardless of how powerful the Adept is who wields it.
The appearance of these Adepts, which has increased in recent years, has caused a rift between these powered individuals, and the general populace. When the strain seemed to be reaching a breaking point, a rising corporation, called the Sumeragi Group, bought the majority of the world's power distribution grids, and presented their solution. Under their guidance, humans and Adepts would live in peace. The speed of the Sumeragi Group's research into Adepts was astounding, and brought many advances to technology.
However, there is a growing unrest in Adept communities around the world. National Leaders begin drafting laws in attempts to control Adepts, and activist groups begin claiming the Sumeragi group is involved in illegal activities, but these claims never seem to last.
Your adventure begins in the near future, when the Sumeragi Group is poised for solid control over major industrial points all around the world. You will play Adepts and humans in the small Asian country which houses Sumeragi's headquarters, and find out what awaits you in this brave new world.

Septima- (If an Adept) [Septima use is finite, based on the body's EP. If all EP is depleted, the Adept enters Overheat, and Septima can not be used again until the entire amount is recharged. EP recharges over time, and can be charged by an Adept when not overheated. Depending on the pace, I'd say that three posts of heavy use, two posts of constant use, and one post of extreme use will put you on Overheat, relative to your Build, and it will take around 2 posts to regain any use of your Septima when Overheated.] Name: (Name of the Semtima) Element:(What is controlled.) Name: Gavin Prince Nickname: Horizon Cartesius Age: 24 Eyes: Blue Hair: Dark blonde. Description:
Country of Origin: United States of America Condition: Adept Biography:
Personality-wise, Gavin is a person who craves interaction with others, with a natural kindness and generosity, sometimes verging on softness, that the young man tries to use to aid in said interaction. On the reverse, Gavin hates being left alone outside of combat situations, and he clearly doesn't like being isolated socially. So his impulse is to surround himself with friends and companions, although one should note that if said friends and companions do something harmful, Gavin would fight them, even though it would hurt him to do so. Thus, Gavin greatly values being around people who are humane and have understandable moral codes.
Born in San Francisco, Gavin was a boy obsessed with astronomy in his youth, but shifted to history later on, while maintaining love for the stars. Born to a family that valued solidarity among family, no matter who they may be inside, Gavin found out that there were people willing to stand by him even when his sexual orientation (he is bisexual) and status as an Adept were discovered. Eventually, he joined the Army, and at the young age of eighteen, made the cut for a Navy SEAL, even without using his Septima. Of course, he managed to succeed in that career only with the help of friends, friends who told him 'terrorists are terrorists; you can wonder about their motives after you shoot them', as well as 'there are things on this world worth killing for, and dying for'.
In time, Gavin would become good at what he did, his skills in mobility enabling him to take out targets from afar, from mid-range, or even in a straight fight. He can appear anywhere, surprise the enemy, and, with his team, take them out without casualties on their side. But in time, Gavin knew that their luck might run out, and that when that happened, he was going to need more friends...

Name: Joseph Leidner Age: 19 Eyes: grey blue Hair: dark brown, smooth
Joseph is rather slender, with pale skin and a face that for the most part does not stand out.
Country of Origin: Germany Condition: Adept
Joseph was born into the Leidner family, who own a small company – not big enough to make them rich. However, with the success of Sumeragi Group, their company is no longer doing well. His affinity for mathematics and logic was discovered early on, as he absorbed information on those topics like a sponge, quickly moving ahead of his classmates, but never skipping a grade as what he has in mathematics he lacked in language. Translation wasn't his problem, but interpretation, specifically reading between the lines. While in school Joseph witnessed another kid get bullied because they were an adept, so when he discovered his own septima, he decided to keep it secret from everyone, only using it if necessary or on his own in private.
Developing a rather calculating personality over the years, Joseph decided it might be a good idea to help his family's business by either finding or creating a niche, in which they can outcompete the Sumeragi Group. For that purpose, he is currently on a vacation in the city, that houses the Sumeragi Group's headquarters, trying himself at industrial espionage, without the goal of stealing technology.
Lens: none Ring: Ring of Gravity [on adepts that can fly using their septima, free falling while not using their septima will recharge their EP by half as much as they would need to fly back up to where their free fall begun] Pendant: none
Run (25 Points) Jump (25 Points) Fly [Gear or Septima Fueled.] (200 Points)
Battle Shoe [A soft shoe which makes little noise, but causes tripping in a double dash.] (10 Points)
Name: Gravimetron Element: Gravity [Reality Manipulating Power] (500 Points) Color: dark red Powers:
Gravity Slingshot [Element Generation: Blast(20 points)]- uses gravity to quickly fling an object, ally or enemy in a specific direction(usually at a target or wall/floor/ceiling). On impact both the flung and hit objects take damage based on their velocities.
Gravity Conveyor [Element Generation: Sphere(10 points)]- Changes gravity in a small sphere to point in a direction of choice with a strength of up to 5G. This will curve the trajectories of any objects, projectiles, allies or enemies passing through it. Once the sphere is created it will remain static until it ceases to exist.
Gravity Alter [Element Generation: Field(100 point)]- changes gravity to x*normal for the whole battlefield, with x being limited between -5 and 5. If this causes an enemy, ally or object to fall into the ceiling or floor with sufficient velocity, they take damage.
Event Shield [Element Generation: Field(100 points)]- a major alteration of gravity creating a non-spherical event horizon, that shields from anything trying to pass through it, as the velocity required to escape it exceeds the speed of light. Can be circumvented by moving around it instead of through it. Cannot be sustained for a prolonged time.
Event Trap [Element Generation: Sphere(10 points)]- a major alteration of gravity trapping a target within an event horizon generated around it. The target or anything within the sphere cannot exit the sphere by moving. This includes light. Cannot be sustained for a prolonged time.
Build: Average SP: 2/2 (-100 points) Special Skills:
Tidal Shredder [Damage in a geometric area(100 points)]- Uses tidal forces from a non-constant gravitational field to deal significant damage to any object within an area. Anything destroyed this way is ripped into multiple smaller objects. "A mass beyond compare / Pulling in and out / Ripped apart by the tide! Tidal Shredder!"
Description and Bio may be a bit lacking, as both aren't my strong suit.
Updates the original post with some relevant information, and also posting my (mostly complete) character. I just need to decide what he looks like.
Name: Palav Gul Nickname: Sakura Spear, 'Gero' Age: 16 Eyes: Hair: Description: Country of Origin: Tashkent (Country in 'Central Asia') Condition: Adept Biography: Palav grew up in a small village in Tashkent. Once he became older, he joined the newly formed Adept Representation and Education of Neutral Affiliates, in order to support the group, and seek safety in its numbers. He soon, however, found solidarity, as he excelled to the point of becoming a field operative in a relatively short time. Due to the resources at A.R.E.N.A's disposal, he was able to acquire a specialized spear attuned to his Septima, with a counterbore guard near the end of the blade. A cool, levelheaded individual, Palav is sometimes seen as someone who's hard to talk to. His responses often come off as cold and distant, as he tends to be rather terse. Despite seeming emotionless, Palav has preferences and his own way of doing things. While he'll usually let a one-time annoyance slide, constant infractions will soon raise his ire. So, due to the sheer amount of CS and my own obsesion over stats and gear it took a while longer than expected, but here it is. My CS proposal.
Name: Itachi Tatsumaki Nickname: None. Age: 19 Eyes: Brown Hair: White
Country of Origin: Japan Condition: Adept. Bio: Itachi was born into a small family in a small mountain village. As a kid he grew up with news of sumeragi's research, but excluded as he was in the small mountain village, the news never interested him much. from age 14 his parents trained him in kusarigamajutsu, which was considered an art as well as a means of defense in his village. Around this time he also stated paying more attention to the news, quickly realizing how much power Sumeragi had obtained while he was enjoying his youth.
Eventually at age 17 Itachi left the village to roam the world in search of his own happiness. During his travels he encountered some sumeragi agents and was forced to experience their influence firsthand. A week passed before he would be seen again, but he continued roaming as if nothing had happened.

@Ryougu I would prefer the name always being listed as given then family in the CS, only so I know which I'm looking at. Also, there is no 'very adept'. He's just an Adept. Secondly, you don't have a pervasion technique to utilize Seer Spec. If you want pervasion, it would be a self-adjust power.
@tobiax Fixed it. He now has a self-adjust and I altered the name order. I will still introduce him as [Last name - First name] though, since that's just how they do things in japan.
@Ryougu Sorry, I didn't get it was a joke until later. As for Pervasion, yeah. It counts as a self-adjust passive because there's nothing else that it really counts for.
@Ryougu You haven't technically earned any Kudos yet. And we do have someone coming, they just haven't put an incomplete up, but I'm in contact with them. Two people actually.

Eh, well, fair enough then, seeing how long it took me to finish I guess it makes sense. Also, even if I haven't earned these Kudos, I still have them, right?
