Cerebella had just finished her act in the Cirque de Cartes when it hit. A few people fled, many were killed. Civilians, performers, animals, and the ring master were never found. Yet she escaped, as did her roommate, Feng.

Then they saw them.

Flagships bearing a very distinctive symbol flew overhead. The Order* had attacked neutral territory. The Peacemakers** will not be happy about this. But Cerebella wasn't happy either. "You bastards! How DARE you destroy the Cirque de Cartes!?" She shouted, fleeing the scene, as she didn't want either of them to get hurt.

It has been a week since the orbital striking of the Cirque de Cartes. Cerebella lost Feng in a different area, so she stopped here, at a safe place called the World Gate. The room was completely white, there were weapon, armor, and food shops in said area. However, the strangest part were the gates. Arches coming from the ground by the thousands, each leading to a different part of the world. Of course, you could walk or travel normally between worlds, but the more Cerebella thought of it, the more she realized that hoofing it through a supercontinent would not be fun at all. So here she stayed, now back in her usual, cheery demeanor, looking for anyone she knew, or anyone for that matter. This place was barren. No life except for Cerebella in the entire World Gate, except for the shopkeepers.

*(Order= one of the two factions, has superior technology but is fewer in numbers)
**(Peacekeepers= freelance group of peace-bringing mercenaries)

The Doctor sighed as he made his way back into the TARDIS, it had been a long mission from the Time Lords, and Sarah Jane's absence had been rather frustrating, but as soon as he got back to U.N.I.T. HQ, he could complain to her in person. Throwing the switch for the TARDIS' return to his time-line, he was rather perplexed as he found himself being catapulted across the room as the whole ship shook like a leaf in a hurricane. "WHAT THE DICKENS!?!?!?" He yelled, getting up and slowly making his way back to the console. "WHAT'S WRONG, OLD GIRL!?!?!" He looked at the console, but only got a slight look as a console exploded in his face, as it did so, a panel was tore open and the Doctor's face was struck with mute horror as he realized that the panel in question had been covering the Heart of the TARDIS. The energy began to leak out. stumbling over to the console, he grabbed the cover and tried to shove it back on. He succeeded and grabbed his Sonic Screwdriver to weld it back together. Finishing the work quickly, he breathed a sigh of relief as the ship stopped its convulsing.

"Well... That was close, what on Earth could have caused that?" He whispered, getting back to his feet. But, without warning, the hatch he had just welded back on suddenly sprang open and a bolt of lightning lanced out, hitting him in the chest and knocking him backwards off his feet, but then time seemed to rewind as he was thrown back onto his feet and the lightning bolt retreated into the TARDIS. The Doctor felt himself over. Although, now he didn't feel well. Moving over to the console, he slumped forwards on them and the TARDIS began to re-materialize inside of the World Gate, in front of a girl, it's familiar wailing could be heard as it became physical. The door opened to reveal the inside to be far larger than the outside and an older gentleman slumped against the controls.

Dracula was sitting on his throne inside the massive cathedral in the city where he had fought, and destroyed, Satan himself. The city was no longer full of infected creatures, and the regular humans were no longer hiding underground. He looked out over the city from his seat. He was kind of bored, just staring at his goblet of blood, when suddenly a strange doorway appeared in front of him and he stood, before downing the blood in his goblet and wiping his mouth. Then he tossed the cup, before stepping through the strange doorway shaped portal.

The leaves crackled in under his feet as the teenager walked through the dark, gloomy woods. He held two weapons, one in each hand as he walked through the shadows of the woodland area. The place was pretty much covered in shadows due to the amount of trees that made up the woods, and that was quite a lot. Ticci Toby's head twitched to the side with a loud *CRACK* noise, and yet another one as he moved his head back up straight.
The two hatchets he held happened to be recently used. The silver blades of the axe like weapons had been dripping a little with a crimson colored liquid, Blood. Toby had recently killed yet another victim, and if one where to back track the trail he took, one would arrive at a scene of murder, someone who was carelessly wandering around these woods had been unlucky enough to run into Ticci Toby, and faced the fate of death. But Toby seemed to think of a murder as a normal, everyday thing.

Pulling blood back inside of her hand Mirai quickly wrapped her open wound. "How unpleasant." she muttered as she bent down to pick up the small gem that had fallen to the ground when she had killed the last Youma. When she looked up though there was a strange portal greeting her. "W-w-w-what is this?" she questioned to herself taking a step forward towards the weird portal. She had no idea what it was. She would have sent a text to Akihito but she had forgotten her cell at home. She bit her lip nervously letting her blood drip from her hand once more, turning it back into her sword before she nervously stepped through the portal.

Jericus "Ing" Ignace braced him as another shock-wave ripped through the plaze his platoon was defending. Over head the massive war-machines of the titan legion was fighting ork Stompas towering over the city. "WAAAGH!" Ignace's head snap towards the plaza's entrance as a mob of ork charge towards his platoon, there was fierce fire fight between the guardsman and the orks. Ignace spotted a mekboy with a shokk attack gun aimed at him, before he could respond and ork fired hitting him dead center blasting him into a portal. The guardsman was unceremoniously was toss out of the portal onto the floor "by the Emperor where am I?" he said out loud looking around were he ended up.

Cerebella perked up and blinked overdramatically, a look of surprise on her face. "Vice-Versa..." She began, talking to her oversized headwear. "Am I crazy, or is there an unconscious guy in a police box that came out of nowhere, a soldier, a teenager with two hatchets and a pair of goggles on, a somewhat normal teenage girl, and a vampire in this room that was empty a minute ago?" The hat leapt off of her head and nodded before jumping back onto her. "Okay, so I'm not crazy." She turned to the crowd. "Just who the hell are all of you?" She asked, a noticeable amount of nervousness in her voice. "Before you ask, I'm Cerebella." She waved nervously. "This is Vice-Versa." The hat gave the crowd a sort of half-salute. "Can someone help me with this old, unconscious guy?"

The Doctor regained his consciousness quickly and stumbled towards the door of the TARDIS. Looking out at the small gathering, he scratched his head. "Wha... What in heavens did you do?" he asked. "Somehow the TARDIS was dragged to this exact point." he then looked down to see a small scorch mark in the middle of his chest. "Oh... So I didn't dream that part..." he muttered. He then clutched his chest in agony, gold dust flowing from his body. "AAAAAHHH!" he moaned. "It... It feels different this time... Making me... Rather giddy..." he stepped out of the TARDIS and threw his hands out and his head up as golden dust burst from his body in a spectacular light-show. finally stopping as he now stood looking... Different. He grabbed his face. "I'm... New..." he looked down at his hands, then felt his face again. "Oh, these teeth will never do. Curls? Oh no, no, no, this just will not do at all... And still no mustache..." he muttered. He then noticed his clothes. "Wait... Why do I have this?" he asked, examining the 17 foot long scarf around his neck. "It's never changed my clothes before..." He looked around at everyone, before reaching into his pocket and retreaving a raggly brown paper bag and holding it out "Would anyone like a Jelly Baby?" he asked. Then looked down at his hand in confusion "How did I know I had those?" he asked. Then noticed that he had yet to introduce himself "I'm sorry, allow me to introduce myself, I'm The Doctor and this i..." He then stopped as he remembered that Sarah Jane wasn't with him. "Never mind, anyway, care to tell me where we are?" he asked, looking around, a large, friendly smile across his face.

Ticci Toby soon realize who happened to be in this group, even if he was a little odd himself, he still was a bit confused. He heard that the girl with the rather strange hat had introduced herself and was asking who all the people here where. He decided to respond, its not like these people ever knew about what he done or who he was. "I-I'm Toby" he responded, and his head twitched slightly, staying at a slant. "...One second..." He then added and straightened up his head, making a loud crack noise as he done so. He smiled "..That's better.." he then said, as it felt better to have his head back up at the proper angle rather than being stuck at a tilt to his left side.

Cerebella stared at the two, mouth agape. "So, you regained consciousness and changed bodies-" She said, pointing at the doctor. "-and you're a bit strange." She continued, pointing at Toby. "Nothing too bad, honestly. You should've seen Double. Or Filia. Christ, I can't get those two's deformities out of my head. Double was a tentacle thing from hell despite being dressed as a nun and Filia's hair was... alive." She sighed, frowning. "I really miss them. All of 'em. Even Ms. Fortune."

Mirai was extremely confused as she watched the strangers. When she heard the loud cracking sound from Toby's neck she nearly jumped out of her skin in surprise. "H-h-h-how Unpleasant!" She exclaimed, her grip tightening onto he blood sword. She didn't feel like these people were threats though so she de-materialized her blood and brought it back into her hand and began wrapping it with her usual bandage. "I'm....M-Mirai Kuriyama." she introduced, obviously uncomfortable. She was stressing about where she was, and trying not to panic.

"Was that sword made out of blood?" She asked, still shocked over these peoples' abilities. "That's incredible!" She continued, a look of pure awe now on her face. "That is so cool, Mirai! I'm not overreacting, either! That is like, the greatest thing ever!" She finished, now looking right at the young adult. After fawning over the other's powers, she turned to the Doctor. "Well, from what I've learned, this is called the World Gate. All of our worlds are linked in this hub, as well as an arena called the Battlefield. Two factions, the Order and the Spike have been at war, destroying and reconstructing lands in an endless struggle for power."

Mainframe
"Game Over." A digitized female voice resounded through the system, the coruscating purple Game Cube ascending into the sky and disappearing. A smirking boy in a backwards-turned baseball cap elbowed Bob in the ribs. "See, I told you that'd work." Bob shook just his head gave Enzo a pat on the back. "Yeah Enzo, you told me."

Before he could say anything else, a Vidwindow popped up in front of him showing a very distressed Phong. "Bob, something... unusual is happening to the portal generator. It~" as Phong spoke, the Principal's Office portal generator rose up from the roof and opened. "This is bad. Very bad." Bob brooded as he jumped on his Zipboard and flew to the generator as fast as he could. By the time he reached it, Phong was waiting for him and a portal was forming. As the sphere stabilized, its surface showed a vast white expanse broken by thousands of archways. "Glitch: Scanner." Bob said, holding his Keytool out to the new portal. Blinking oddly, the readouts were inconclusive. "Okay, that's weird. Guess I'll have to find out for myself." Phong leaned in close, clearly concerned. "...Bob..." Bob gripped his shoulder reassuringly. "I'll be back in no time. In the meanwhile, close the shields around the generator so nothing gets through."

The World Gate
Appearing through one of the World Gate's many archways, Bob floated atop his Zipboard, ascending so that he could survey the surroundings. Catching sight of the odd group of people within the huge room, he flew over to them and landed, stowing his board away. He arrived just in time to catch Cerebella's explanation. It almost made his jaw drop. Links all the worlds... there was a portal here for every system? That was amazing and alarming at the same time. "Uh, hi!" said Bob as he approached, "My name is Bob. I come from the Net. Through systems, peoples and cities to this place. There's... you're telling me there's a war spanning multiple systems going on?!"

Toby laughed a little as he heard Mirai shout because she had gotten a scare from the loud crack of his neck, "Heheh,It happens all the time! Dont worry 'bout it!" he replied, finding it rather funny that Mirai had gotten scarred because of that.Most people would be scared when they heard about what he actually done. He soon heard Cerebella mention about where they where. "...World gate? What? I've never heard of this stuff before..." he then said, getting a bit confused about what Cerebella was talking about.

"The World Gate is activated when a living being enters it for safe travels, and stays open for the rest of time." Cerebella replied to Toby, trying to retain all the World Gate information. "It links all worlds which was done in an attempt to bring the worlds together. But the Order and the Spike used them to wage war." She finished, turning to the new face. "Not just systems, worlds. Oh, I'm Cerebella, these people who I just met are Mirai, Toby, The Doctor, and... who are you two?" She asked, pointing at Dracula and Jercius.

"Lady Beatrice, there is something weird happening in the gameboard!" one of servants cried out as she ran towards the witch who happened to be watching this "gameboard" from her private game room. "Really? How come I haven't seen it?" Beatrice asked as she glanced over to the servant. "Well...it's an outside force, someone's trying to mess with your game!" the servant answered, not sure how to explain it. The witch only laughed a bit in amusement, not bothered that her "perfect" game was being tampered with. "well then, I'll have to see for myself. Please, be ready when I call for your help Lucifer, alongside the other Stakes of Purgatory...oh, and maybe the Chiester Sisters too," Beatrice smirked a bit to herself as she arose from her chair, and disappearing in a cluster of golden butterflies.

She reformed from another cluster of golden butterflies, seeing that in the garden of the gameboard, there was a portal that did not seem familiar to any of the other witches of the Meta-World. Being curious herself, Beatrice walked through the portal, and then finding herself in the World Gate with other people around that were all different looking. "What a crowd this is..." Beatrice said with an elegant voice, deciding to act very "proper" until she could return to her "darker" persona.

"Oh, look! Another person!" Cerebella yelled dramatically. "Who might you be,-" Cerebella stopped, her eyes catching the elegant clothes that Beatrice wore. "-ma'am?" She finished, smiling. Cerebella sighed and continued. "I'm Cerebella. These people are Mirai, Toby, The Doctor, and Bob. I don't know who those two are." She continued, pointing at Gabriel and Jercius again. "And this is Vice-Versa." She said, pointing to her hat which moved one of its giant arms for another half-salute to the two newcomers.

Not just systems, worlds. Bob wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but the distinction ultimately wasn't that important. Distracted by the worrying news, Bob only nodded to the newcomer when Cerebella introduced him. "Who are the Order, who are the Spike? They're just fighting over who's in control?"

Beatrice, for once, did not know exactly much about this new "world" through a rift. The Order? The Spike? Were these factions with a certain "aim"? She didn't know much about that either, but she'll just let the others present the information on these new things for the Witch to comprehend. "My name is Beatrice, otherwise known as the Endless Witch," she introduced herself with a gentle voice, doing a little curtsie to add to her supposed elegance. She didn't dare to ask about these new concepts, knowing it would be asked by the others anyways.

The Doctor sat back and watched the others talking, trying to get a sense of what was going on. Then he saw the two new arrivals. He held out his scragly paper bag "Would either of you care for a Jelly Baby?" he asked with his usual big smile.
