O'Ryan Cooper

O'Ryan immediately tensed as he saw the 'young' Ascot turn the corner now in some sort of strange cuffs around his wrists. O'Ryan's brain began firing on all cylinders trying to figure out how to get out of this situation. Running immediately was thrown out the window, he couldn't just up and leave the poor kid. The best thing was to play along for now and to simply wait for the right opportunity to strike back against the agents.

"Sure sir, we can accompany you." O'Ryan said casually looking the agent dead in his eyes, not looking away at all.

While the agents were distracted, Jon begins to meld with the scenery becoming hard to distinguish from the scenery, and yet harder to remember.
"We need to see where they're taking ascot I'll take the rear, and keep an eye out for anyone following us." an ethereal whisper appearing in the ear of O'ryan.
From his camouflaged state he climbs up upon the rooftop and begins scanning around looking for suspicious persons. His hand tapping on the matte black of pistol holstered beneath his duster.

Morgana Estrain

Morgana's gaze shifted from her circle to Alexander. "My spells are usually invisible to normal people. I would think levitating somebody into the air and crashing them down hard enough to knock them unconscious would draw more attention." Her voice was neutral, with just a hint of coldness in it. Gavin then spoke up about... turning themselves in. Morgana frowned outright at that. "That's stupid. What was the point of us almost dying if you do that? I doubt your actions will lessen any harmful impact on us anyway. We've crossed a line. Of course I can't stop you from making that decision, but if you do know that I'll go find these tablets on mine own." At first Morgana hadn't even been interested in the tablets, now she was rather invested and she found herself having difficulty understanding why. Perhaps because her life had been threatened as a direct result of being with a group that wanted to pursue them. What was those motivational posters always said?

If you encounter enemies you're going in the right direction? Morgana had never really encountered much in the way of adversity, school had been relatively easy as well as the only thing she'd done. Perhaps this new conflict, the rush of adrenaline and fear, things she had never known before, as well as an objective other than something as bland as 'success' were the reason. All these things ran through the background of Morgana's mind as she stepped into her circle and began forming words. Mental protection. Iron Skin. Detection. Other words to fill in the gaps that Morgana was now aware of. The magic in the air was forcibly coiled into words and engraved into pieces of paper and some of the loose, un-enchanted jewelry Morgana had. The circle allowed her to keep a vague awareness of her surroundings but she was primarily focused on her magic.

Awakening

Charles would groan as he started to regain consciousness, as he started to set up rubbing his head he'd glance around, bit disorientated still, at first words around would be a bit of a mumble then when he started to realize what's happening "...turning yourself in?" he says and shakes his head "that's probably the most idiotic thing I've heard.." he says rubbing his head "Things have already been stated that we are targets" he says and starts to get up "I do agree with her, besides even if nothing was done to us, I would still be put back into foster care and I really am not going back there" he says.

Golem surprise

Leon would be bit surprised at how well his color change was working, it was kind of obvious it wasn't a person, since it's head was obvious some kind of robot just had the police colors on it, making it look more of a movie prop than a policeman. When the agents showed up he immediately started to target the agents on his hologram with his targeting system, but when O'Ryan spoke he would turn his head towards O'Ryan wondering why he is being so cooperative with the agents, sure that have one of them, but they was also alone. But he decided not to do anything and just wait to see what O'Ryan has planned.

Arriving in Brightwell too little too late, Aaron sighed. He probably shouldn't have taken a boat after all. Grabbing a burner phone and calling a contact, he soon turned off the phone and tossed it. A while passed without anyone appearing until a large, burly man approached him from behind. The man stuck his hand into one of many pockets and retrieved a... piece of paper. The man tapped Aaron on his shoulder and immediately pressed the paper into Aaron's hand, disguising it as a handshake. The two of them talked for a little, seemingly a jovial and amicable conversation before thanking each other and parting ways.

Aaron put his hands in his pockets during the conversation, seemingly casual, though a slight clinking of metals could be heard by anyone within a meter from him. After the conversation had ended, Aaron pulled withdrew his hands from his pockets and unfolded the piece of paper.

You were too late. There was a suspicious group who'd rented out the place a while back.
I tried reserving a room, but they were all reserved already. Money can go a long way though and eventually he gave me a name.
A certain 'Gavin Prince', which I believe is the person you were looking for.
According to the motel owner they went to Epirus, Greece...Ironic isn't it?
Thanks again for setting me up here, I feel a lot better now I left all that behind me.

P.S. I expect a good sum of money back for bribing the motel owner, she wasn't cheap.

Aaron grabbed a lighter and burned the note. Tossing the burner cell in a nearby trash bin, he sighed. Ironic indeed, the group he went to meet wasn't here, instead they were now in the country he had so recently left behind. Entering the motel Aaron simply flashed a CIA ID at the owner and said "Something new has come up, I'm here to inspect the room again."

Inside the room there was no one and little was of interest to Aaron. Not that he was really here to investigate, of course. In the solitude of the deserted room he opened a window and meditated on the bed. Eventually having gathered enough energy he teleported. Landing flat on his behind next to his own bed, he looked around a little and got up. This was indeed his own room... and he was looking at his bed from the exact position he'd focused on. Noting that he'd have to practice doing that properly, he swiftly got up and went outside.

Out in the streets of Epirus, he wandered around a little before seeing a figure launched into the sky from across the rooftops. Aaron navigated through several alleyways and arrived at the scene, right in time to see the group leave through a portal. When he asked a passerby what was up with that, the passerby simply told him someone had told them these people were making a movie. Aaron returned his gaze to where the group had been, only to find the crowd had mysteriously died out, even the person who had just been next to him was now gone.

"This is not my day" Aaron mumbled to himself as he approached the only group remaining. When he saw the cuffs on the boy he realized he had walked into something unpleasant. Not sure which side he'd want to be on in this instance, he just pretended to be lost. "Umm, excuse me, I am so SO sorry to interrupt you gentlemen, but I'm afraid I'm rather lost, you see? Would any one of you mind telling how to get to the folk art museum...Something Mansion*?"

Group Gavin

"Then you would still have been alone in the middle of the village square and exposed to Mitsuki's potential nuke," Alexander said to Morgana, "also, if Gavin wants to turn himself in, he can do it alone; we can vamoose if he does. So, yeah, I agree with you, and I agree with you too, Charles," the young man finished. Alexander would then open another Underworld Gate in the middle of the cavern.

"Those who want to leave with me, let's do so; we'll find the Necromateion, the Key to the Tablets, and said Tablets ourselves!" Alexander did not know he was being selfish and abandoning his own brother. "I'll fetch Ascot later, but I'm sure he'll agree with me." Irony.

Mitsuki, meanwhile, had said the wrong thing to Gavin. Her rhetoric of war and the greater good had done the opposite effect on the young man, rousing his anger and outrage. Morgana's arguments, they worked up to a point. Mitsuki, Gavin was not going to jump to any conclusions about her, but he will say this:

"When you say that I and Alexander should have found a solution other than knocking you out when you were trying to kill us all, you imply that you care more about the pain you suffered than the fact that people could have died, including yourself. If you haven't noticed, I was entered by the mind probe as well, and yet I did not endanger people who had nothing to do with it in public and make a dangerous spectacle of myself!"

"You talk about violation, you talk about what those eyes, the mind-probe, did to you. That is no justification for a random genoicdal frenzy that you keep making excuses for...just as your random genocidal frenzy is not an excuse for me giving up on the quest." Gavin pursed his lips.

"Very well, the quest continues. We will seek out the Necromateion first and the Key, and then we'll get the Tablets, and tell God to not only make Magic permanent, but also to deprive those who would persecute Magi - and certain other communities - of their ability to speak and read language." He would look at Mitsuki again.

"You're still my left hand, after O'Ryan - the blond ex-military guy who has a lot of guns. But give any order that endangers innocents, this group, or you, and I'll do worse than surrender to the US Gov't. But as said, the quest continues; you're right."

"Now," he turned to everyone else, "I will check up on O'Ryan and the others." He would then pull out his smartphone.

Group O'Ryan

The Agents, along with their prisoner, would lead O'Ryan and Leon's drone to the mayor's residence, a large house complete with a courtyard and small fountain. In this period of austerity, it seemed that whoever led this town still had the resouces needed to keep himself comfortable. Of course, thoughts like this would be a bad distraction, as a dozen CIA agents with Anti-Magic vests were prowling the building; the Mayor seemed to have left.

Walking to a nearby round table, the CIA Agents and the cuffed Ascot sat on three nearby stools; there were three more for the drone, O'Ryan, and Jon, who would feel eyes on him; a female Agent was scanning the premises slowly, and her brow was furrowed, as if trying to use her willpower to overcome the mind magic.

Meanwhile, another two agents - out of the dozen, were glaring suspiciously at Aaron, before both of them gazed at him, trying to use willpower to overcome any illusions; they found none. They would then say:

"Are you stupid? The closest city is farther south; we're in the town of [Greek for Nameless]." If not for the fact that some tourists can be this stupid, they would have pegged him for a Mage right away.

O'Ryan Cooper

O'Ryan's immediate reaction was to get the keys off of one of these guards, and in the process freeing Ascot and the others. But he would have to be smart and fast. No room for mistake. All he had was a simple 9 millimeter. And all he had to do was grab his group and rush the hell outta here. Plus he could get the others down south to that town. They could hide out for a while, and regroup.

"Ehh? Stupid? That's rude! South of here is Ioannina, I just came from there. The folk art museum is in Metsovo, which is to the east, But what road I should take is a mystery to me..." With a sigh Aaron turned around and walked away, mumbling "...Moron." Turning around the corner and entering a nearby alleyway, he opened a small portal above the mayor's house. Slowly making his way into the house by repeatedly recreating his portal, it almost felt as if he was walking there. In reality though, he was sitting in an alleyway, his eye pressed to the wall where he'd summoned the other half of his portal. At one point he had to relocate, because his portal wouldn't move any further, presumably because he was at the end of his range.

After a while of using his portal to peer through keyholes, he found the room with the captives. His portal still summoned against the keyhole, Aaron distanced himself from the wall. He retrieved a pencil and paper and wrote a simple message on the paper. "Stay put, help is on the way."

He returned to his portal and studied the interrogation. One particular man stood out, a tall, brown-haired caucasian male. (O'Ryan, for those who didn't get that.) He seemed twitchy, ready to attack any moment. Recreating his portal as close to the man's pocket as he could possibly get, Aaron shoved in the piece of paper and pinched the man's leg. He was bound to have noticed that, it wasn't altogether subtle, it would be hard for the man to actually read the paper, though.

Removing his portal from the man's pocket, Aaron created yet another portal. He was getting tired from the repeated process, he'd need to bring out his ace, soon...

Charles Thoughts

Charles would listen as the others spoke, glad that Alexander agreed with him, after seeing Gavin change his mind Charles was bit happier. He knew there was a lot ahead of them but there was no telling what they would run into, and it was clear they was being chased anyways, just for being what they are. It's not like a group of foreigners come together and are instantly treated as terrorists, so why was they. He would think about that for a few seconds, before throwing it out of his mind. Simple reasoning they was scared of a group of people with supernatural abilities. When this was all over Charles knew he was going to end up on his own again, but he didn't care, this was the path to both his future and his past and he was going to take it.

Leon's Attention Span

As they arrived at the mayor's resident Leon was surprised at the amount of people in suits. Then even more surprised at the sudden words from the agents wondering what they was talking about, it was almost like they didn't even know who they was which was confusing. As Leon would begin to think he suddenly had an idea and immediately stepped off his control platform after setting his drone into autopilot mode, by targeting someone the drone would follow that person's lead. He would target O'Ryan so the drone would do as it needed to. He would remove the control items and suddenly start to work on some new devices, weapons to be specific. Already forgetting about the situation happening to the others he just started to work in his lab.

Light played across the carapace of a brilliant green beetle the size of a human eyeball as it slowly made it's way down the mansion's wall. Tiny insectoid eyes were nearly blind to the world, even as the creature within struggled to listen in. Slight tremors still stirred the air, escaping the mansion through microscopic fractures in the glass of the windows. Sound so slight that no human ear could have picked it up, but to this strange little beetle it was as clear as day. The struggle lay in filtering out the background noise, the everyday sounds that formed an invisible orchestra. The rustling of wind through the grass, the shifting of cloth over skin, the commotion of ants burrowing through the Earth, the steady heartbeat of a dozen humans, the wheeze of their breath, the crescendo of a shoe sole striking a carpet matched against the steady tune of the birds a block over. But even through all this ruckus it could pick up the words that were spoken deep inside of this mansion, where government men sought to escape their ignorance.

With an internal sight, the beetle shifted, knowing it had to act. The men inside were mages, but no doubt they'd been secured using that odd anti-magic stone the government was so fond of. These agents were professionals, experts in their craft. No doubt they'd be looking for invisible enemies or teleporting foes. A dozen ways to sneak into the building sprung to mind. In the form of this beetle few would pay attention to it, fewer still would notice a lone termite burrowing up through the stone floor. Or a slow approach, altering it's skin to match it's surroundings while shifting from place to place. A long, nigh-invisible snake crawling across the ceiling, held up by hundreds of tiny spider legs. Of course she could simply attack them from the front. Immune to directed magic they might be, but there was very little they could do against a bulletproof dragon monster.

But, all of those plans would be for nought. These dozen men were not the threat, they were just messengers. Here they represented the power of the government, the arm of the law, and the immense military power that could be summoned by the men who ran this nation if magic was considered a threat to national security. A dozen men, two dozen men, even fifty men meant nothing to her, but she had little wish to face an army of soldiers. No, she deduced, there were better ways to solve this conundrum. Where raw power and stealth could not prevail, a more subtle approach would have to do. For power was worthless without a mind to guide it.

The beetle became a squirrel, hopping off into the grass. It scurried between the leaves, a bright red bushy tail bobbing up and down as the tiny critter made it's way to the middle of the path leading to the front door. Standing up on it's hind legs, contrasted by the plain white stones beneath it, it looked up at the guards of the mansion. Slowly it began to grow, hairs swirling to form clothing, limbs extending and growing opposable digits. In mere moments the rodent was replaced by a human child, perhaps twelve years of age. A small brown girl with long black hair and blue-green eyes, wearing a plain green dress. A smile on her face she held up her hands while facing the CIA agents, who no doubt had drawn their weapons during the transformation. When she spoke it was with a child's voice, but with a slight edged humour not befitting her form.

"Greetings. My name is Kara. I've come to bargain."

Morgana Estrain

Morgana's eyes shifted upwards in brief exasperation. Alexanders excuse was weak and Mitsuki's preaching had angered Gavin, but lecturing anyone at this point wouldn't be very productive. Besides, she was starting to feel more calm as more safegaurds feel into place and she continued focusing on the magic of her words, only paying mild attention to the speech around her. "Very well, inform me when we leave." She would still like to create a few more protections before she felt truly prepared, though part of her felt she would never really feel safe again. However next time that mind-numbing madness happened again she'd be ready for it. Or at least she felt she would. It was really hard to tell what you'd do in a hypothetical situation honestly. Still there wasn't much she could do other than act confidently and hope it would stand up when anarchy broke out again, which she had no doubt it would. Things tended to get harder as life went along not easier.

Feeling the eyes of the woman upon him Jon began to look quickly for a distraction. The modern age being rife with the allure of electronic screens he quickly found his inspiration. Focusing quickly and clearly Jon plants within her mind the sensation of her phone buzzing and receiving several messages from her mother. These were a black letter of sorts, telling her and convincing her of the death of a family member.
The goal of his mental attack was to disrupt her composure enough so she would forgot the strange feeling of an almost memory. Following his distraction he redoubled his effort to remain forgotten, focusing intently on the concept of nothing and memories long since forgotten.

Group Gavin

Gavin had re-secured the loyalty of the group...for now. As he brought out his smartphone, he would activate an app that increased the reflectivity of the surface, so that he can scry on the Epirote village better. The young man would then see visions of what was going on in the town, visions blocked a little by spots of whitish-green; messed up magic - no, Anti-Magic. But he can focus on the person he loved, focus on what his lips were saying, as well as what everyone else who didn't have Anti-Magic gear were doing. He would then go back to his team, then say:

"Our enemy has shown their hand; they got Ascot. However, a new Magi of immense power has answered our call, and is planning to force them to return him."

It was Alexander's turn to be surprised.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time to show our hand once more." Looking at Charles and Alex, Gavin said:

"You two can talk to Ghosts, and one of you can conjure them. Ghosts can reconnotire the area and can see the same things ordinary humans can, including the CIA goons; however, they can teleport back and give info. Then, we attack."

Group O'Ryan

"Very well," said one of the agents to Kara, "what do you want?"

In the meantime, Jon's distraction only worked for a moment; the CIA Agent was better-trained than expected. Nevertheless, said Agent would still withdraw to the mayor's house, though she would walk backward instead of exposing a potential vulnerability to any Magi...

O'Ryan Cooper

The blonde ex-military vet was just so confused now. All this magic stuff was giving him a headache, why couldn't this be simple. He knew how to deal with people with guns, and other weapons and such. But, now everything had gone to hell due to all this magical stuff. All he wanted to do was grab Gavin and just take him home and just try and make things normal again. He had just experienced something being placed in his pocket out of thing air, and now this girl had walked in. Why did everything have to be so complicated? He was close to just shooting the whole building up, grabbing who he needed and just running.

'Hell... maybe I can move out to the woods.' O'Ryan thought as he tried to come up with a new set of plans.

Raising an eyebrow, Kara sighed. She usually wasn't one for theater, but she would have appreciated a little ooh-ing. What was the point of semi-divine supernatural powers if people weren't impressed by them? Oh well. She had a job to do. And probably not all too long to do it before the two other Magi she could hear attacked. The illusionist hid himself well, but had not thought to mask the sound of his heartbeat, nor the other slight sounds made by even the stealthiest of humans. While Kara did not know who these magi were they were clearly magi for the things she had heard and seen them do, and they were clearly here for the fellow being interrogated. If she didn't defuse this situation quickly, it was likely to escalate.

"All right, let's get the obvious out of the way first." Seemingly instantly accelerating from a standstill to a breakneck pace, she drew the man's gun from his belt before his hand touched his holster, placing it to her own temple. Turning towards him with a smile on her face and her other hand raised in a mock gesture of surrender she fired three bullets into the side of her head. Each struck a 'skull' just beneath the surface of her skin quite unlike any normal biological material. A series of carbons molded through magic to adopt a perfect cubic atomic arrangement, creating the material known as 'cubic diamond'. All of the hardness of traditional diamond combined with the flexibility of iron or steel. With this super-material folded into miniature nano-tubes to create a molecular weave it formed one of the most effective defences on Earth, a highly advanced form of Graphene. Even with the bullet negating the supernatural enhancements applied to the material by Kara's power it's physical properties alone were easily enough to halt the low-calibre rounds, and the crystaline bullets shattered with little to no effect. Smiling Kara stared the man down as she casually tossed the gun back at him, before removing some small remaining shards of crystal from the skin around the impact points.

"So, now that we've established that there is nothing you can do to hurt or stop me, shall we move on to business?" Rapidly Kara's form altered yet again, this time into a tall white-skinned androgynous figure in a dark blue business suit. The new form lacked any facial features other than a mouth filled with shark-like teeth. Using a series of subdermal sensory organs in order to orient herself, Kara now addressed the man in a hurried fashion. "Currently I am here to represent the interests of a loose coalition of individuals with abilities of supernatural origin, in addition to the general rights of people of similar origin and ability. While I lack the authority to speak for all of the self-dubbed 'Magi', I do possess the ability to negotiate for the aforementioned group, which would be the closest thing to an organised whole that has formed among the Magi."

"Currently you are holding a US civilian and interrogating them with no trial or evidence to a crime. Lacking any evidence or indication that this individual is a credible threat to national security your intervention violates constitutional rights. As such I am here to negotiate for the immediate release of said civilian from custody, and for a full trial to commence on the subject of your superiors. You are no doubt acting under orders, and the people responsible for this unfortunate violation of our most basic and important laws will need to be found and placed on trial for performing unconstitutional acts." Smiling the figure appeared to produce a large black briefcase from it's coat (which could not have held said briefcase) and opened it to reveal a large pile of important-looking documents. "I recommend that you inform your immediate superiors that they are to halt all of their actions towards containing and interrogating the individuals in question, lest you be be held accountable for the crime you are committing. After all, once you are made aware of the illegal and immoral nature of your actions it becomes your responsibility and right to disobey any orders that would lead to you performing said actions."

Truly, this was the most powerful ability she could have unleashed. The unholy power of POLITICS. Indeed, even in the midst of what might be a global arcane revolution the law would still hold firm, and there were limits even to what the President was able to do. It did not matter who had authorised this, and who supported it. Even if it was eventually declared legal and the CIA declared innocent it would be after a long and hard legal battle, which would then be swiftly followed by the immense legal clusterf*ck that would be the American law system attempting to adapt to the sudden appearance of magic. Bringing the entire situation to light and forcing the government to play by it's own rules would buy the Magi time, if nothing else, and would severely limit the CIA's ability to directly act against them. Public scrutiny would make violent government intervention practically impossible, as long as the Magi Kara was representing managed not to turn themselves into a national threat.

As if suddenly remembering something Kara suddenly looked down at the CIA agent, who was at this point no doubt baffled by the unexpected angle of assault. "Of course, it's also possible that this is not a matter of national security, but rather a declaration of war. It might be that the United States government wishes to declare a civil war against this group of individuals. If you were to refuse my offer of negotiation in fact you might personally be responsible for a second American Civil War, one that will cost thousands of lives and see entire cities burned to the ground. Do you want to do that?" Kara leaned in close, her strangely lavender-scented hot breath hitting his face. "And do watch how you answer, you're being recorded."

((Collab between thewizardguy and Letter Bee - Also, Keks is expelled.))

Closer observation would reveal that the CIA Agent who spoke to Kara was a middle-aged woman whose eyes couldn't be read behind her shades, but whose smile suggested...amusement. She would then face Kara's 'monstrous form', then say:

"Except that this group of Magi, the 'Brightwell Group', has already done things that can be percieved to be criminal. Holding a meeting for the purpose of inciting and conducting terroristic activities, resisting arrest, and finally, causing a public disturbance in a foriegn country, with one of the members waving around a katana with killing intent, close to civilians, then attempting to use extranormal powers in order to gather enough energy to destroy a town in what can be considered actual terrorism; I think we have enough of a case." A smile before she turned back to one of her companions, a male black CIA Agent with a shaved head and muscular build that fit his black suit and anti-magic vest underneath tightly. Said companion then spoke:

"And of course, there is the fact that, considering your differences from normal humans, and the abilities you've demonstrated, you may not legally qualify as human anymore. Enough will believe that, especially when we play up the presented threat. Quite a damning judgement from a black person, I must say," he would tilt his head slightly to the right, a visible tic.

Nodding sagely at their objections the creature before them responds by sitting down on a chair that seems to flow out from it's clothing. Similarly, a large oaken table seems to spill out from under the creature's jacket. "Then let us hash out the details, no?" Retrieving the papers Kara would place them before themselves, making sure to retrieve several relevant documents from the general pile. "This Brightwell Group stands under accusation of performing terrorist actions, and yet I would argue that they acted in self-defence. As they are generally unarmed, unarmoured and untrained they legally pose no threat. Despite this several CIA agents opened fire at members of the Brightwell group, attacking unarmed civilians. From this point forward I believe that most actions they have undertaken can be filed away under self defence, considering the considerable threat to their lives."

"To address a few more of your concerns, the threat to this town is an unproven assumption. As the Magi phenomenon emerged a mere 2 weeks ago there are no experts on Magi and related supernatural phenomena, and as such no way to tell what the magic was being used for. Considering the general gathering of mana and use of magic is in no way illegal, this accusation is completely unfounded. Although I am certainly interested in what sources you claim to possess that would be able to identify the powers in question. Certainly you would not possess Magi within your own force?"

"Secondly I would like to address the attempt to dehumanise the 'Magi' demographic. Considering the legal and literary definition of 'human' is based on membership to the species of homo sapien, a criteria all Magi meet, this attempt quickly falls flat. However, it will be noted that you made the attempt. Of course if doubts still exist I'm certain several members of the Magi demographic, including myself, could be made to release blood tests in order to prove that they are, in fact, genetically human. To call them inhuman for their abilities is a rather blatant case of discrimination based on ability and skill."

"Moving on, I would like to address the immense amount of failures and blunders that the CIA is personally responsible for in this conflict. From illegal intervention to firing in densely populated urban centers you have broken practically every creed in the book. No doubt you will both be fired, although depending on your actions here you may end up in jail. If you cooperate it will significantly decrease the legal repercussions of your actions."

A smile from both Agents.

"Very well, further terms?" They were already planning on measures to save face.

"The immediate release of your prisoner, and an investigation into the CIA's command structure. I will be officially contacting relevant government officials in order to request a reform of the system to prevent similar issues from reoccuring. However, I do recognise that the CIA was responding to an unprecedented and seemingly threatening situation, and therefore will not personally press any charges. However, I cannot speak for all Magi." Kara stood, the table and chair once more being reabsorbed into their body mass. "I would expect you to be present at the inevitable ensuing cases in order to determine the rights and limits of magic use, considering your role in the conflict."

Moving towards the house, Kara would make their way towards where O'Ryan was kept with only a quick glance back. "Now, shall we wrap this little mess up?"

"All right," said the Female Agent, who would then turn towards the people holding Ascot.

"Prisoner is released, people! Problem resolved...for now."

Morgana Estrain

Morgana raised a quizzical eyebrow at the declaration of attack. Perhaps not the most wise course of action. "I though our objective was to retrieve the tablets, not bring down any sort of enemy." she said passively. Yet even as she said so she couldn't resist the thought that it would be nice to get back at whoever had attacked them. She wondered how everybody else felt about it, no doubt they were also ready to take revenge. It sounded so violent that way though.

Charles Confusion

When Gavin started to speak about attacking them back it did make Charles confused, he would look at Morgana as she spoke passively and he agreed with her that was their objective. He figured if they attacked it would just make it a lot harder to move and probably increases their amount of enemies. "Wont retaliating just make things worse?" he would speak out. "I understand seeking to gather information, but purposely attacking might just increases the trouble and danger" he states, "besides we are in a different country now, outside of the jurisdiction of those who attacked us before..." he mumbles some.

Group Gavin

Gavin smiled at Morgana; he didn't need Timespace to know her true feelings. Mitsuki, on the other hand, seemed to have disappeared, same for Marcus. All signs pointed to them having snuck off on their own somewhere, an ominous sign, but Gavin's only acknowledgement of it was to grit his teeth while Alexander gripped his fists. Then, Charles actually said something...uncharacteristic, which gave Gavin pause, before he would say:

"Reconnotire the scene anyway. Even if attacking isn't necessary, we still need to know exactly what's happening in a way that can't be blocked, like my powers can." Should Charles move to follow, he and Alexander would see...that the situation had been resolved, thanks to Kara.

Group O'Ryan

Aden had disappeared as well, but the other problems are still resolved...
