@Leoven Let's be real here, I didn't even make that out of nothing. Yvette's frost dragon totally wants to romp in a haystack with her, going by that sexuality. XD
@Hippo AF No problem. Take your time. There are still some people working on their sheets.
@Melandrach You can still apply. I'm still waiting on people to send their sheets before accepting.
@fishguy Erihollow colonies are pretty much like well-structured camps. There's basically one big city (if you can even call it a city) and small group settlements in the surrounding area. Not a lot of people venture farther out since the marsh (yep, it's kind of like the background for the dragon pic) is extremely dangerous.
@Rune_Alchemist That sounds good. Nothing jumps out at me right now about their religion except for the fact that it's extremely patriarchal and is traditional in every sense, so I'm guessing that both Yvette's gender and sexuality would earn her some very nasty looks, but they're not going to fight her outright because duh. Dragon.
@ERode True enough. XD Honestly, I should have expected that.
Ah? Well that's fine with me, I certainly don't mind that being a thing she'll have to put up with - might be a deciding factor in whether or not she stays loyal if she does end up having to decide between them and something else. I'd say she could keep her sexuality a secret for fun times, but eh, if she's gonna be looked down on for her gender then she'd probably flaunt everything just for giggles.
But yeha, Ciervia would turn anyone that even tried doing anything into pretty little ice sculptures and put them on display somewhere~
...I am gonna have so much fun playing Ciervia if I get to. The little dragon is gonna let me have my sadistic funsies.
I think it might work better for them to think that the dragon is the one in charge and she's just like his...pet or something. Reasonable, giving his personality xD
And pfft, a Frost dragon is never going to sleep with a human~ Unless she feeds him first
Full Name: Drako Winbren - Captain of the Sagewick Military. Nickname/Alias: “Drakon” Pronounced Dragon with a ‘K’. Age: 18. Gender: Male. Sexuality: Straight. Country: Sagewick. Occupation: Military Leader. Appearance:Draco is the leader of the Military power of Sagewick and is always often seen in his Noble Uniform. However once a battle or training will incur, he will dawn his Battle Uniform. Background: Draco wasn’t that of Nobility when he was young, in fact, Draco was the opposite, he was an orphan and a peasant. When Draco was only 8 years old, he had learned how to live on the streets, knowing what to steal and what not to steal, which fights to fight and which ones to avoid. At this point in his life, he had gain a small following of five other orphans, each coming from Sagewick. He had grown to be their leader and was always making decisions that best served the group.
When Draco was 10, they were among the known border of Shdowpine and Sagewick, often crossing over to avoid the many guards. One of Draco’s friends, a small girl named Ellie, only six years old, had fallen from her point, causing her to roll down the hill into the middle of a confrontation of Sagewick and Shadowspine. Among the chaos, a blade was darting towards Ellie but was quickly blocked by Draco’s arm, piercing and shattering his right shoulder. A scream escaped Draco, both guard units stopped in their tracks. The screaming continued, the guard took the blade out and Draco fell. Draco was knelt in front of Ellie, protecting her. Draco was taken back when Ellie finally spoke for the first time, “Thank you, Draco”
The Sagewick guards jumped at the confusion, quickly attacking and offing the remaining forces, all but one, the one with the blade in Draco. Among the tears that now formed in Draco's eyes, he saw the blurry figure of his attacker. On instinct to protect Ellie, he pulled himself off the blade and charged, hitting the man in the chest with his shoulder. The resulting crash knocked the attacker onto the road where Draco pounced on top, headbutting the man before grabbing the blade and driving it through the heart of the confused man. When the adrenaline ran off and the road came to silence, the guards moved to Draco and Ellie, the rest of the Orphans coming out.
The Sagewick guards brought Draco, Ellie and his friends back to Queen Yddra Marcella Greyhelm, where quickly seeing the opportunity to protect Sagewick put him into Military training, along with his group. He was given a home and was no longer homeless.
Draco quickly rose through the ranks of the Military and quickly became Yddra’s most promising warrior. When he was only 14 years old, the Queen stationed him as Princess Naeva. With his new found responsibility, his training rose tenfold. When he was 17, he was placed as the captain of the Military, in charge of both tactics and protection. He is also the youngest ever leader of the Military.
It wasn't until 3 months before his 18th birthday that his life changed. Ellie had come to Draco one day when he was out training at night, the bright moon lighting the field on once they stand. The Queen behind Ellie, Draco was concerned. His concern quickly changed when Ellie opened her mouth, "Draco, for years we have been together, yet you know naught of what you are, or what I am." Ellie took a step back, the Queen having a soft smile as she stood next to Draco.
Ellie’s eyes went from her soft grey to glowing orange, she raised to her feet, her small frame shifting and growing, a tail protruding from her back along with a matching set of wings. Her size growing immensely. A foot landed next to Draco, the once lit field was now covered in darkness, the shadow of the dragon was long and full, the neck came down to meet Draco, their eyes meeting, a familiar feeling setting in. Draco was baffled but not scared, a feeling like he always knew something was out of place. He slowly raised his hand to her snout. The feelings that coerced through his touch was immense, voices and visions rushed to his head, a short wince of pain was quickly soothed by Ellie's voice, "You are a Listener Draco, and I, will be your Dragon". Draco's face turned to that of a smile, a feeling of complete had now settled over his body. Strengths:
》 Draco has a huge sense of protection, always putting the life of his comrades above his. 》 Draco’s training wasn’t just focused on Ellie, he was also trained in swordplay and he is quite proficient. 》 Draco’s skills in Tactics are unparalleled. This often gives Draco an edge to most battles.
Weaknesses:
》 Because of his feeling of protection towards his comrades, this can make him quite predictable and can often be a downside to him 》 Because of Draco’s shoulder, it is a weak point and if hit enough can give way. 》 Draco can overthink the most simplest task, this can allow others to take advantage and jump at the opportunity.
Equipment:
》 Draco always carries around his sword, Larenth, a sword made by the fires of Ellie and is stronger than most other blades. 》 Draco has a locket around his neck, in the locket is a photo of him and his orphan family. 》 Often has a compass and a retractable spyglass.
Miku The Fire Sage
Full Name: Ellie (To Draco) or Miku The Fire Sage (To others) Age: 130 Years old. Gender: Dragons have no gender but it is best represented as a female, as her human form often shows. Race: Magnus Appearance:
*Eyes are actually a soft gray color*
Background: *Dragon will be referred to as a girl* Miku was chased and hunted by numerous humans, causing her to run for her life and always having to watch herself. She sooned learned how to play on human emotions, forming her human shape as a young and lost little girl. This caused her to stop being hunted as much and it also made humans feel sorry for her, often giving her a home for a while.
She was found by another small group of orphans led by a man named Draco. She was wary of him but she needed a group as to not raise suspicion from her hunters. Cautious of her new found group she continued to follow. She quickly learnt that Draco's actions were genuine and he had the others lives in his hands at all time, but Miku knew that at the first sign of real trouble, he would leave, as many humans have done in the past.
The group was crossing the border when she slipped down a slope, putting herself into the way of a conflict. Dazed and unable to react in time the blade was heading towards her with intent to kill, but was stopped by the sacrifice of Draco. Miku learnt that Draco wasn't like other humans. That's when it clicked to her, how he always seemed to know something about her, that he was a listener.
After many more years of training with Draco, she became adapt at swordplay, much like Draco. It wasn't until a couple months before Draco's 18th birthday that she seeked a private audience with the Queen, to which she accepted. Ellie told the Queen of her true identity, finally allowing herself to settle, she was scared of being hunted, but the Queen understood, and it almost seemed as though she knew, and guide Ellie to the field, as to reveal herself to her Listener. Strengths:
》Miku is fluent in fire magic and is often her go to move when fighting. 》Draco was taught how to use a sword and in so, Miku, not wanting to rely solely on her blood of Dragon, took this up also, become one with swordplay, she has also learnt to use her fire magic with her sword art. 》Miku is flame retardant and can not be hurt by any flames
Weaknesses:
》If she uses her magic so much in combat, she can become exhausted 》If she is hit in her human form a bit, she will also be quickly drained and will no longer be able to fight unless she transforms. 》Miku is quite young for a dragon, this can be seen when she is compared to other Dragons, this means she isn't as strong as others.
So i was REALLY testing this out with the whole Military thing, if this does cause any problems for the RP or the GM doesn't wish for this to be a part of Draco/Ellie's story, the background can and will be changed. I had fun creating this nonetheless and it feels good to RP again after such a long Hiatus. :P
@Rune_Alchemist Yep. I can see her flaunting everything in front of the priests just to piss them off, and Ciervia glaring at the priests, daring them to do anything.
"Unless she feeds him first" *remembers Yvette is a good cook* WELP
@Cherry Sabers Several things. Could you fix the layout first? It's sort of difficult to read. And I'd really appreciate if you can elaborate on their descriptions especially since you didn't provide an image. Also, I just can't see feral wyverns attacking any of Erihollow's settlements because the people of Erihollow have close relations with Wyvern dragons, unless you can provide me with a good reason why it would attack now aside from Wyverns are really violent and chaotic.
@Hippo AF His military connection is okay, but we're starting with the Listeners having just discovered their abilities. I'm allowing up to a few months before the start of the rp, not eight years. Since his entry to the military faction of Sagewick came from his status as Listener, I'm afraid you're going to have to think of another way he could have gotten the Queen's attention. So yeah, aside from that, the only issue I see is a few typos here and there (mostly with Shdowpine which is actually pronounced "shi-tow-pin")
[.hr] Full Name: Eridian Andralles Karkand, The Black Lion, Wielder of Sunclaw and Listener of Garaxes Nickname/Alias: Eri (Air-ee, by his close friends), The Black Lion (by those who fear him.) Age: 26 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Country: Sagewick Occupation: Eridian was a Vassal Knight in the employ of a Fuedal Lord, but when his Master died, Eridian became a blade for hire. [.hr] Appearance: Eridian is normally seen with his neck-length black hair, slicked back. He has a notable scar on his chin and many others covering his arms and torso. When he isnt wearing his armor, he's normally wearing a black tunic with the red sigil of his lord patched onto the shoulder, leather trousers, tough boots and a heavy, hooded cloak. Background: Eridian was born to an Imperial Knight by the name of Mythras Karkand. When Mythras was murdered, when Eridian was only 8, his Father's friend, Lord Nimerius Sedgefoot, took him in and trained him to be a Knight. However, Nimerius was also murdered by a rival lord when Eridian was 24. Eridian met his dragon, Garaxes, when he was 17. He was on his first border dispute mission for his Master, where he stumbled upon a cave, during a heavy storm. Entering the cave, Eridian beheld a massive dragon curled up, asleep on the cave floor. Struck with fear, Eridian began to back away, before stepping on a dry bone, cracking it in half and waking the great beast. The dragon stood, towering over Eridian, and holding his gaze for a good half hour. Eridian felt if this was to be his death, it was to be noble so he stared right back at the dragon, not flinching. After holding each other's gaze, the dragon leaned down and touched the tip of his nose to Eridian's forehead and, at that moment, Eridian's entire world changed. He heard things from the perspective of a Dragon, understood the world as the Dragon did. "I am Garaxes, Eridian Karkand. And you are my Listener." [.hr] Strengths:
》 Swordplay. Eridian was known as the best Swordsman among Lord Sedgefoot’s Knights. 》 Eridian is extremely good with people which he can use to his advantage in many ways. Making friends is easy for him but he also has a charm about him that makes people just want to listen to him. 》 Eridian is a brilliant tactician, both on the battlefield and in the council chambers. He was well on his way to becoming Lord Sedgefoot’s Captain due to these skills.
Weaknesses:
》 Eridian has a temper that can easily be taken advantage of. His father and Lord Sedgefoot are very sensitive subjects for him and he’s been known to beat people bloody for talking low of these men. 》 Eridian’s friendliness and trusting nature act as a double edged sword. He is extremely protective, causing him to be blinded by his bonds with others, as well as allowing him to be manipulated easily. 》 Eridian also had a drinking problem in the early days of Lord Sedgefoot’s death. He has been sober for many months but relapse is definitely a possibility.
Equipment:
》 Sunclaw, Lord Sedgefoot’s legendary sword that he gave to Eridian shortly before his death. 》 Blackened steel armor emblazoned with the red lion sigil of Lord Sedgefoot. 》 His horse, a black stallion. His saddlebags carry the rest of Eridian’s equipment, including his food and tent.

Garaxes
[.hr] Full Name: Garaxes the Terror Age: 153 Gender: Male Race: Magnus [.hr] Appearance: As a dragon, Garaxes is a massive red dragon with black tints to his scales. As a human, Garaxes is an extremely well-muscled man with clean trimmed black hair and a neat black beard. His eyes remain red. Background: Garaxes was born 153 years ago, high on a mountain. He was left by both his parents to learn how to survive on his own, a task that he took to well. He rarely left his Dragon form, enjoying the freedom of his wings to the constrictions of his legs. He remained around the same mountains that he was born in until he met Eridian. [.hr] Strengths:
》 Garaxes obvious strength is just that, his strength. He is extremely well built and could probably lift a smaller dragon with his bare hands. 》 As a Dragon, Garaxes has the ability to expel massive torrents of flame from his jaws. 》 Garaxes is extremely loyal to his friends.
Weaknesses:
》 Garaxes is a little bigheaded and egotistical. 》 He has a temper that is even sharper than his Listener’s. 》 He is extremely frivolous, some may even say lewd.
Just a heads up, folks. Gonna start the first round of acceptance this Friday. I'll be reading the new sheets tomorrow, but for now, I have to say good night. Hope to roleplay with all of you soon!
Edit: Look at this awesome art and let it inspire you! Source
@Leoven Okay probably a stupid question but what's the status on magic and mages? Like can they be D&D kind of wizards throwing fireballs? Or is it pretty rare, mystical and makes subtle stuff happen? I'm guessing fireball throwing bad-asses considering the Lung seem to be closely attuned to magic. But I'm still asking to be sure.
@Dead Cruiser and @Rune_Alchemist Humans in this rp are not naturally attuned to magic. There's magic all over the world that some creatures can tap into but human's can't unless helped by enchanted artifacts or dragons.
The Listeners are a different thing as they're able to see the flow of magic, but this connection is weak that the only thing they can do with it is communicate with dragons. As their relationship with their dragon grows, so does their connection to magic. The magic they learn to tap into relates to the magic of their dragon, but isn't limited to elemental magic.
Since we're starting just after the Leviathans attack and after they first meet their dragon, none of the Listeners can use magic yet. Maybe rudimentary sorts, but nothing really magical.
Oh, I do? Then I was the one who misinterpreted Rune's sentence!
Nice!! XD Which countries we already have?
After going through the CS -
Shadowpine only has one CS submitted for it. Woodwyn has had two people show interest in it, and one person has submitted a CS Erihollow has had two show interest, but only one CS for now. Sagewick has had two CS's submitted for it.
Mallowater, Wildeshore, and Havenborough, are the only ones who has had no one showed interest nor submit a CS for at the moment I think.
