Berserker Soul Combo's with Forbidden Lance.

A Hero Emerges summons Rare Metal Dragon, which can only be special summoned and is the basic summon currently in my deck at this time.

Maxx "C" is opponent specific, providing draw power in a deck whose hand quickly disappears.

Super Polymerization is a personal gift from someone. I was going to draw attention to it in a later TURN, but for now it can sit in my side deck.

Do these explanations satisfy?

Edit: On second thought, I could probably remove Maxx "C" for the time being. I'll revome that and just have 14 cards in my side deck for now.

The one for Super Poly is insufficient; but send me a PM about it and we can discuss it there.

The others I wholeheartedly disagree with on the basis that they're purely mechanical and have nothing to do with telling a story. A Hero Emerges certainly doesn't fit the theme of your character's deck.

Dogoran can destroy all of Aya's monsters, and there are enough Kaiju counters to activate the effect.

I think that's just how the chocolate melts in the oven. Look at the one right near the bottom, which is almost flat. I doubt raisins grow that way. Or dry out from figs, or whatever.

phew, who knew Madolche required so much typing, and there is so much potential of it getting stopped... wait... Martin does not have any face-downs right?

so that means any normal summon effects triggers when summoned in defense position

Come on, that's a little too quick to judge, don't you think? I mean, sure most of the side deck is mainly defensive cards (Prime Material Dragon being perhaps the only exception), but it's not like I'm planning to use all of them every single Duel. Considering they're in the side deck, they add variety, and of course I plan to replace certain stall cards like Spirit Reaper and such with others in the side deck. What's the point of a side deck if I can't tech in certain cards when I need them? I also don't intend to win every single Duel, and play only for story purposes.

I suppose it's difficult to trust only the word of one rp'er, but I'd like to at least have a chance.
