Tarquin
Quinn nodded at Magnus' words and almost felt a pang of sadness as he let go. He knew it was almost impossible to feel this way and have his feelings reciprocated. So, he kept quiet and followed Magnus quietly, trying to act like nothing was running around in that ginger head of his.

Niklaus
Nik nodded towards Gunnar and leaned against the wall to watch the commotion. This guy had to be in bad shape after all that time. "Make sure he gets what he needs, Gunnar. I'll go check with my father," he said before looking at Liz. "Oversee this, will you? "

Caspen
Caspen nodded and walked out of the castle in a rage to the car that would take them to the club. There was going to be a mess later and he wasn't sure this would keep him from punching Victor in the face. @KimmiNinja@Carsonomel@GrizzTheMauler@SouffleGirl123

Magnus

Fear. That's what held him back. Fear of losing love again. Fear of the fact that what he did for a living could endanger Quin. It's no secret that the "vacations" he went on were to enforce the Krishkov empire. He had enemies, vampires he defeated long ago.... A certain one who haunted him, gave him nightmares... He wouldn't let him get hurt. He would protect him. His mind reeled with thoughts of that Vampire and his promise...

"I will destroy all that you love... I will kill each and every lover you ever take..." The vampire's eyes glowed with an unholy light. "You will suffer for eternity with the curse of immortality, your precious pride as a warrior of Valhalla should easily keep you from killing yourself..." The vampire laughed as he attacked.

Coming back to reality with a jolt he almost drops the shield. "S-s-sorry..."He rubs his forehead. When was the last time he got a proper sleep... Spending hours and hours trying to track Him down... But Alexi had eluded him... Eluded him for centuries... He had caused so much pain... So much suffering and Magnus wanted revenge. He would kill that vampire... He would destroy that monster even if... even if..

Duvalt

Duvalt heads to the Infirmary. Along the way he is met with pages on updates but he mostly ignores them, telling them to put the reports on his desk, he'll deal with them later. Adjusting his tie he finds Nik in the halls. "Ahh, Nikkie. How is our visitor?" He smiles warmly at his son. He will make a good king. He had no doubt. He was good in his studies, always did well in his training. It was a shame that Dash had to be... Punished like that, but he couldn't let him wander off. Who knows what enemies would take him and use him as leverage. He was safest here... Though he wondered if he did right... Gunnar had taken to the boy. Dash loved to spar at a young age and would tease the older Vampire until he gave in... Such training provided him with the skills he needed that day... Gunnar was never truly the same... He had left, then. Vanishing without a trace. Magnus understood, said he was off finding his Wyrd. But at that moment, Duvalt feared that he caused a rift between his family... His wife never spoke of it, Magnus and Gunnar had sworn secrecy... But Nik... He was young. Too young to understand... And it saddened him.

Johnathan

Johnathan waited until Nik had left to check on his Master. He didn't want to seem like he was ease dropping, and after so long locked in this tower with no one but Dash, he didn't want to admit that he became anxious when others came around. Some were worse than others. Nik was definitely the hardest. Johnathan couldn't help but imagine being the one that Nik visited, and that he would one day take away from this place. He envied the obvious love that Nik had for his brother. Somewhere out there was Nik's family, and he hoped that they too loved him that way, and would want him freed. The thought brought a familiar sour taste to his mouth that reminded him that his 'employers' would never allow such a thing. He'd been specially chosen for this assignment. To age and rot here in the dark seclusion of this prison.

He cleared his thoughts as he knocked at Dash's door. They'd been around each other too long now. He didn't want Dash to read the longing on his face. "Sir, I just wanted to check in. Is there anything that I can get you, or do for you?" He didn't enter unless Dash called him in. Instead, he stood at the door awaiting his orders.

Sasha and Genny

Out front a black, sleek limousine pulled up to the main doors and stopped. The driver stepped out and walked around the car a little less briskly than usual. The girls in the back were tired anyways. They weren't in a hurry today. When he opened the door, the Princess Sasha was the first to be shown. The driver kept his face stone straight, holding the door as the young beautiful girl climbed out of the car with dark sunglasses on, her hair tied back in a pony tail, and wearing a skin tight pink dress that stopped shy of mid thigh. She didn't bother to pick up any of her own belongings and instead merely stepped aside and waited as her mother climbed out behind her. Her mother's hair was lighter and loose, cascading down her back. Her eyes were lighter than Sasha's, and her skin more pale and pink than Sasha's pale olive skin. She wore a softer, looser long black gown that gently caressed her figure. Before the Queen had made it out of the car more servants rushed to help, offering her a hand and moving to the trunk to begin unloading luggage. The Queen and her youngest princess had been in Australia for some weeks now. Diving was Sasha's favorite hobby, and the Great Barrier Reef was one of her favorite locations. Her mother alternatively tended to spend her time shopping, in clubs, or at shows if she wasn't busy with any business ventures.

The Queen brushed off the hand offered to her and stepped away from the limo without faking appreciation for the people who swarmed her. "I want a hot bath drawn, and afterwards a fresh meal... something young. Where is my husband?" Her eyes turned to the nearest servant for an answer.

Sasha waited impatiently, but didn't dare go in and continue her business before her mother. She didn't want to start a fight the first day back. She wanted to savor the experience that she'd had.

Victor
@KimmiNinja
What did bring him home? It certainly wasn’t the allure of meeting his siblings again. Nor did he really have the duty towards his parents. It happened before that he missed a decade of his mother’s birthdays because he was too busy elsewhere. So what brought him home? Today of all days specifically? Well, he long decided to return on a certain point. To catch up a little. He wasn’t soulless. But he truly wanted to see how it was going with his elder siblings. For the past few years, a small voice had formed in his mind. A voice that said that he was better equipped to be heir than any of the others. Of course, he loved his brother and sister. If anything would happen to them, Victor knew he would mourn them deeply. What he really was hoping was that his father would see reason, finally.

Nik wasn’t ready to be heir. He’d never be ready. His softer spoken, less demanding brother wasn’t fit to be heir and most around knew it. Maggie certainly had the grace and intelligence of being heir. But even in her he found something lacking. He always guessed it was ambition. Though, he himself wasn’t perfect. None of his siblings was a stranger to their father’s rule. They had to find a mate before they came of age. It was the one flaw that probably blocked him the most. It was the one demand he’d have to convince his father to scrap.

“Family.. friends.” He answered Sarah’s question with a smile. His mind was screaming to add: you. But again, that would be too obvious. Too dangerous. “So, how are you holding up? With Alice and such?” it was rather straightforward. But he asked the question often. Of course, with Sarah things were different. When he a question like that, those who knew him well knew what he was asking. He was digging for a vulnerability. A weakness. A thing to hold over people’s head. Opinions that could be rather harmful. Or just generally test the waters of the always charged relationships of his siblings. No to so with Sarah. His question to her was genuine. The only ulterior motive he had was that he wanted to see if he could do something. Nothing direct, obviously. But often he tried to do little things to make her life easier.

Alice
@EmzyOfNeverland

Alice stepped into the car with her brother as they head to the club. As they drive away, a limousine pulls up to the castle and Alice glances back to see her mother and Sasha step out, back from their trip to Austrailia. Alice wasn't one for traveling, last time she was out of the castle for more than a month she suffered a minor heart attack. The thought of it brought back the fresh memory of Victor's recent words. She clenched her fist and looked out the window.

Sarah
@Legion02

"Oh same old, although Alice is more frequent with her... visitors. And I'm left to clean up after them." Sarah sighs at the last words in the sentence but tries to hold back any cold tone. She holds up the book she was reading earlier facing the cover of "Pride and Prejudice" to Victor. "I've been reading a lot more to distract myself. So I can't say that I'm totally miserable here." She flips through the pages and stops when she sees one of her favorite lines and starts to recite it. “You may only call me "Mrs. Darcy"... when you are completely, and perfectly, and incandescently happy.” She slows on the word "happy", as if it was foreign to her. She closes the book that contained a life she longed for and looks up at Victor. "But I'm fine really, it's the friendly faces like yours that keep me from sulking around here." Sarah beams as she closes her book.
