Basically they are from the Milky Way. A planet that was Catchatan-level stuff. They were originally human but slowly morphed into reddish versions.

To be fair, my guys aren't much 'traitors' as more opportunists. Namely waiting for the chance - say after a large Vespen attacked that mysteriously killed off the high-ranking leaders. Before declaring their own rule, and bringing back order.

Psionics give me an idea. Basically crayvens having old latent psionic abilities they dont have access to anymore save for a few mutants like Lucretia, herself having the potential of exploiting all the power of her race. Thinking of her having a tutor, some last member of a race genocided long ago.... maybe some order of knights or whatnot would consider this being a demon of sort?
@NecroKnight *cough* I mean, from what you said the planet is mostly uninhabited, apart from the Vespen who prey on most places. And that there s a large capital protected by repulsor fields you stole from Titanfall. I assume this capital still has the large Glory class battleship hovering over it, which hasn't moved in quite some time, yes. However, the rest of the fleet switches every year or two, so you never really know what else is going to be up there. Considering that your guys are "pals" with the humans I think that your planet would have only minor EOM forces in orbit apart from forementioned battleship. Also a small amount of soldiers on the ground, mostly because you seem like nice guys, and you can deal with the most evident threat to order (the Vespen).
Well. The planet does have a xeno population - that is used to work the mines and mine for rare minerals; that super important. So there is an army presence.
Namely cause the Order is mostly 'trained and delegated' to handling Vespen only. Originally the planet had a good amount of EOM soldiers to fighting, the Vespen too. But once the Order showed it can handle that shit - plus with the Repulsor Fields. Those EOM soldiers switched to simply riot control aka xeno-bashing.
Hmm. I might have them be buddies after the massive rebellion everywhere. But maybe slowly, start to dominate their own power over the planet. As I mentioned - the Grandmasters distrusts but not outright hate and sabotage the EOM.
So im thinking the Neutronium suicide drones are going to be a new technology developed after the Gargan where conquered, and the neutronium weapons have not been used against the empire, yet, and will be a jolly surprise for the first major engagement.
The Government is a very simple process. The King/s and Queen/s hold all of the power in the Kingdom and are able to make laws and decisions on behalf of the state at their leisure. However, the people have their own democratically elected Parliament, who tell the Monarchs how to use their power. Although there is no direct system in place to prevent the monarchs from ignoring parliament, it's commonly understood that such actions would lead to civil war.
Officially, the ruling head of state is the King. He will have a number of wives, due to the low birthrate of males. If, by the end of his reign, no male heir is produced, then the first-born Female will become the new head of state and take on several husbands. It's customary for the queens sisters to all marry the same nobleman. If the Queen doesn't produce a male heir by the end of their reign, then, if one of the queen's sisters has bore a male heir, then the oldest male of them will ascend to the throne.

Levinti are a Feline species that developed on the planet of Levintari. Levinti are far closer to the earth Lion than to the Wildcat and their biology says as such. Levinti have a very low male-birthrate, about 1 in 10, meaning that poligami is common, whereas monogamy is almost unheard of. The Females are very humanoid, fully grown at about 5'6-6'4, with patches of fur on their wrists and long hair. Wheras the males are generally much bigger and far more ferocious-looking, but not stronger. This is due to the arrangement and strength of their muscles. A females muscles are far smaller, but containing a lot more bonds, whereas a males is far larger, but containing less bonds. Females are the physically superior of the species, being far faster, as they carry less muscular weigh despite being less imposing.
Females make up the warriors of the Kingdom, as well as the general physical workers. Males are usually left to the administrative jobs, so as to not put them in danger. Ever since the invasion by the EOM, female Levinti have been used by humans from across the Emporium as Trophy-wives, being that they are sexually compatible. However, children from such union are Smaller, less physically imposing and much weaker than a pure-bred Levinti. They are tolerated in the Kingdom and even though their breeding with a pure-breed also creates a pure-breed (The Levinti-genes being dominant over the Human ones) they rarely do so, as Levinti find them somewhat physically repugnant, especially the male hybrids.

Originally, the Galfans were a slave-race of AI's, in service to a race that has long-since vanished known as "The Masters" approximately 3000 years ago, a lone Galfan by the name of Solus rose up and enticed a rebellion. Destroying their masters presence on their world, they liberated several other worlds, before finally, Solus left with a number of disciples to see if they could come to peace with The Masters. Solus was never heard from again, but his people formed a religion, believing him to a divine prophet, sent to deliver them from slavery. Flash forward to 300 years ago and the EOM invaded. The Galfans were wiped out, their civilization completely destroyed due to Humanity's intense hatred and distrust of AI's. 250 years ago, the Levinti's scouts landed on Galf and unearthed a number of the though-destroyed Galfans, bringing them back online. At the present time, only about 40 Galfans are active, but they are working tirelessly to assist the Levinti in creating technological masterpieces that will allow their small kingdom to go toe-to-toe with even Humanities Armada.

The Strain were, like the Galfans, a race enslaved to The Masters, working as engineers and builders. When the Galfans rebelled, Solus came to their world and liberated them. They wouldn't adopt the religion around Solus until much later, however. They never really focussed on developing technology, so much as preserving and developing their worlds architecture. Stra-Prime was a golden beacon of architectual genius... Until Humanity came.
After the destruction of the Galfans, the Strain were seen as a potential threat as they were quite close to the Galfans. Stra-Prime was levelled but the people were allowed to live. All of their great builders were taken and redistributed throughout the Imperium, they and their descendants helping to develop Human worlds. With their own world almost completely destroyed and anyone who would even begin to know where to start fixing it gone, the Strain homeworld was abandoned and they set out as a nomadic fleet in their ancient vessels. Upon entering the Levintari-System, they found The Masters' Technology on their advanced tracking systems and followed it to find the Levinti had adopted the Solus religion. Upon arriving on the planet, they were welcomed by the Galfans, allowing them to stay on their world and assist in the development of their species. The Strain have been instrunmental in the colonization of all of the Levinti's worlds.

Religion: The Levinti's main relgion is the Church of Solus, although it is commonly unknown where the story of Solus came from, it is a closely guarded secret that it is actually from the Galfans (Humanity would have destroyed the church, had they known) Solus is simply described as an "Ancient Warrior from beyond the heavens, clad in metal." The religion is mostly based around an archive found in Solus' tomb that told of his travel across the stars. There are many national holidays dedicated to him, as well as many large cathedrals (Strain-built, of course)
There are several smaller religions. The Keshnikrats is a minor Pagan religion, they keep to themselves and abhore violence. There are also a subsect of Solus worshippers known as the Favreu's who are a little extremist, they worship cybornetics as they wish to ascend to become clad in metal, just like their Messiah.
Culture: The Levinti culture is a mix of many clashing ideals, mainly due to their culture's development at an alarming rate and multiple other facts, including the invasion by Humanity. There are many Clan families, due to their Polygamist natures. Much like human clans having symbols and logo's to tell the difference between them, the Levinti have suits of metal armour. Each suit will be completely different, depending on the family. The suit will be reforged every time a new head of the clan takes their place, so as to make sure their leader can be fit with it.
Also, due to the nature of their religion, cybornetics are commonplace. Every head of house will have an arm or hand replaced with Cybornetics.
History(what you did under the rule of the empire fo roughly 300 years): When the Empire first came and started to destroy the other empires, the Levinti government asked the people, who voted to go to war. For the first time since the government had been established, the Levinti royal family veto'd the peoples order and instead, opened negotiations with the Emporium. A negotiated surrender saw the Kingdom being absorbed by the Emporium, whilst still maintaining their autonomy. Immediately following this, a civil war broke out, where the people took to the streets in total outrage of their King cowing down before the invaders. The King, in response, stepped down and handed the crown to his eldest son. With the Anexing of the Kingdom, Humanity flocked in droves. With them came scientists and soldiers. Levinti scientists were forced to surrender their work, but in return, got access to the Emporiums scientific data.
After one scientist got his hands on data relating to the Galfan homeworld, the government managed to secretly send an excevation team to start digging up the world. After the retrieval of several dormant, but not dead, Galfans, the Levinti Science Board learned the truth about Solus and the origins of their religion.

Are you still accepting? Because i've currently got an idea of a subterranean race that has a technology divide between the citizens and the monarchy ,along with the humans of course, who use the lower class as spies due to their small and nimble bodies and slaves due to their large numbers.
@mattmanganon So far I really like it. It has a hint of originality in a world where everything is already used everywhere.
