No worries. Basically, the announcer wants to officiate any fight, and if one fighter tries to set up a sneak attack on the other to start the fight, he will try to spoil it by warning the trappee of what's about to happen. Only in cases where your character just pops out of nowhere and attacks will the announcer not be fast enough to switch feeds and respond in time. Oren want's a chance to give an equivalent of '3-2-1 go', for reasons that may become apparent later.

I probably should have responded to the rose mobs question. Seeing as your near R'lyeh you could have all the sea horrors come from there, the place is infested with them after all so some of them could escort her when/if she comes out to greet you. Also you should totally ignore​ the commentator, give in to your curiosity​ and embrace the madness within the sunken city.

Uhm, while the nature of the announcer is much appreciated, thats not what I meant. I meant do you want us to start fighting in our posts or wait for like a GM post to handle the announcer's reaction. I assume we'll be handling it but if no I don't want to make an ass of myself.

@BCTheEntity Not to be That Guy, but to see a character that is a Vampire and a Hamon User and a Stand User kind of stretches the limits of my incredulity. It's like someone rolling up with a superhero that is a Kryptonian and a Magician and has a Power Ring.

Since your fights will occur over three designated posts made by you, I want to handle the announcer's business before the first of those three (detailing the beginning of the fight), so if you encounter your opponent I'd prefer if you don't start to actually fight until after I sneak a word in, but if you want to include the initial encounter in the fight, I can count that as a sort of 'spontaneous start' that Oren wasn't able to anticipate and just catch up with the announcer later.

Since it is unfair to keep Wild West and Dead Cruiser waiting, I'm going to go ahead and put you on the backburner.

I will leave the remaining matter up to the players involved: @The Wild West, @Dead Cruiser, @BCTheEntity, and @obliviousRoadie

The initial plan was that out of the 32 members of the competition, 16 would be players, and their first-round opponents all NPCs, with Garbage as the odd one out who would have to match up against someone after their NPC battle in the same spot. However, with 18 players, the plan became to have 16 players fight 14 NPCs, have the two extra players fight one another for the first round, have the winner fight one of the leftover players, and have the other fight Garbage. With the current situation, there are a couple more options. They are as follows:

1. With Mika out of the equation, Tyrant proceeds to fight the Angel for the first round. This would prevent BCTheEntity from joining, and also make things more difficult for the Angel, who ideally shouldn't receive any disadvantage because he's a part of the main roster

2. BC's character replaces Mika, and the winner of that fight goes against the Angel, which would also not be fair for Dead Cruiser

3. Tyrant appears in his own echo, the pit, at the bottom of No-man's Land, and after climbing up faces off against the winner of Angry Dragon vs Garbage. In essence, Angry Dragon vs Garbage would be the only 'prelim' fight, and the true first round would be the winner of that vs Tyrant. Mika is replaced by a new NPC that is matched against the Angel at the Culture Center. This would be the most ideal in my eyes, though it would also prevent BCTheEntity from joining

4. The same as the last, but instead of a new NPC, Mira is replaced by BCTheEntity's character, who faces off against the Angel. This would also not be fair to Dead Cruiser

And none of this is really fair for obliviousRoadie, who would also have to fight a player instead of an NPC first round.

Basically, allowing more than 16 people made it so that the organization would have to be weird, and this turn of events hurts it even further. It would make sense that the people who got in over the limit (Tyrant, Mika, and Garbage) should be at a disadvantage, but there's no good way to integrate those extras into the main organization that wouldn't make it so that someone (in this case, either Dead Cruiser or obliviousRoadie) would have to fight a player for the first round instead of an NPC. If either of you are okay with that, please let me know. Otherwise...well, I'm not sure what to do. Taking suggestions.

Edit: the beginning of the fight between Garbage and Angry Dragon complicates things further. With this in mind, the best option would still be #3
