references aside, when you mention the swarm queen talking about her experiments while fighting, I assume that would mean she has kept some of the former victims of her mutagen serum about so that she can, well, talk about them as they try to murder her enemies.

edit: also will you be interjecting GM posts between the players npc rounds if they are appropriate? Commentary, neutral mob actions, pill results etc.

Clotho does have victims around, but not anywhere near where she currently is.

ah OK, I was thinking of doing a sort of roman gladiatorial thing where she releases big beastie, does a little spiel to introduce them, but now that I think about that it might be a bit theatrical for your no nonsense bug queen. Though I could maybe have her mutate some bugs that survive bolter rounds during the fight. hmmm. going to need a little rework of my planed 3 stage fight with this data, but it's my fault for not asking this before setting the fight at the top.
