Darkness is growing in Penrose. The amount of monsters has sharply increased over the past year, and Magical Girl Patrons from across the globe are moving their assets into the city. If you are a local, you've likely been freshly contracted as casualties mount. If not, your patron has moved you in for some purpose, offering more chances to earn rewards.
Victoria Reales, Magical Girl for the Puchuu, has noticed the influx of new girls into her hometown. She has called for a meeting of all magical girls and boys in the city, and has also invited any monsters coherent enough to ally themselves with her. Her goal seems to be to form an alliance against the growing monster population. The meeting is set to begin at midnight at Penrose Park in the heart of the city. Will you attend? Will you join her alliance? Can the alliance even be made?
Rules
1. Nothing even vaguely sexual. Even though the characters may be mentally older, they are still in children's bodies. Any romance will need to be strictly PG. 2. Violence: The world of the CYOA is definitely darker than the average magical girl show, with death as an intrinsic part of the setting. Still, please keep the gore and body horror on the tasteful side. 3. Post Rate: Try for at least once every three days. At the beginning things might move more rapidly. If you're not going to be able to post for a while, let everyone know. 4. Post Standards: Your post should at least include your character's thoughts, and an action or some dialogue. 5. Triggers: If any players have a trigger or set of triggers, let everyone know. If your post includes somebody's trigger, please put it in a spoiler with a trigger warning.
More rules may be added as things come up. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to PM me or tag me in a post.
Setting
This will be using the wider setting of the Accidental Magical Girl CYOA, found here:
The RP itself is in the fictional city of Penrose, located somewhere in the Northeast US. Due to the increasing number of monsters in the city, the magical girl population is rising as well. Penrose has a population of 600,000 and is located on the east coast. The actual structure of the city will be kept nebulous to allow for player choice.
Character Sheet
Character creation should be done according to the CYOA. Please note that the amount of additional benefits and drawbacks you can take on the Patron module depend on what type of patron you have. If you roll Allies or Twin Soul and don't want to deal with the additional characters, you can reroll for that power or perk. I'd like to keep things to a max of 3 characters per person.
It was a bit weird combining the CYOA with a normal RP format. If anyone has any suggestions to improve the organization, please speak up!

1. Nothing even vaguely sexual. Even though the characters may be mentally older, they are still in children's bodies. Any romance will need to be strictly PG.
I have some concerns about what constitutes as what is going to be considered 'PG' here
...I have a lot of trouble keeping things PG of any kind. I really, really, do. Pervy jokes and innuendos happen a lot with my characters.
So, uh, just giving you a heads up ahead of time so if I go overboard with something you are free to smack me.
@Western Robot Don't have time or energy to finish up the Horror Patron CS tonight. I have a rough idea for it, but it's almost 2AM and I've spent waaaaay too long on this tonight.
I'll finish it up tomorrow, but here are the girls. I may have gone a tad bit overboard, but do tell if something is funky. I'll fix it sometime tomorrow.
"Heh, lets have a good one, alright? Try to make this entertaining. As long as I have a bit of fun, I don't care who I have to fight. Just don't expect me to work for free. I take payment in the form of money and compliments, hehe~"
Appearance: Isana looks a fair bit average for a 14 year old girl, if perhaps a bit taller and slightly more developed. At 5'2 and a slender 103 lbs, she definitely wouldn't come off as physically impressive. She's a little girl, after all. Little girls aren't physically impressive in any manner whatsoever. Isana sports pure, long white hair that falls to her back as well as red colored eyes. Perhaps a side effect of the botched-eerrr, interrupted magical girl making process. Either way, she finds her new body to be quite suitable and to her liking. Though, she does rather miss the 'assets' her old body has and constantly wishes they were bigger. Alas, such a thing is likely not going to happen.
In costume, she takes what looks to be some sort of possibly military uniform for her appearance. A tight, form fitting dark blue blazer over a similarly colored shirt that seems to be strapped closed with some sort of golden metal straps. Light blue metal tassels hang from the inside of it, purely decoration in nature. A dark blue, rather short miniskirt is the only thing covering her upper legs, with long black stockings heading up to her thighs. Tough looking black military boots cover her feet. Her hands are covered in thin, but elegant looking gloves. Draped over her shoulders is a fur lined cloak.
Outside of her outfit she's...well, much less impressive. Often times her clothes will be much to loose, as well as possibly revealing a bit too much skin for a 14-year old. Old habits die hard, apparently. She typically wears red colored earrings and can often be seen not wearing any pants. 'Lazy' describes her look pretty perfectly. So much for 'eternal style' Though one could argue this lazy appearance of hers has a certain charm to it.
Specialization: Stone, the ability to manipulate Earth and Rock. A stalwart, fairly balanced offensive and defensive element. With a little creativity it can easily be a versatile weapon. It grants her a unique understanding of how buildings are built, as well is quite hardy and stalwart, even out of costume.
Weapon: Melee, Sword Vale Scar - At least, that's what she thinks it's name is. The rather elegant blade is not made of steel or iron, but rather a slab of weighty stone. The blade itself is fairly unimpressive at first glance, being around the same looks as your average long sword. However, due to the fact it's made of stone and her Specialization is stone, things can get pretty...hectic. By thrusting the sword into the earth, she can change the size of it almost at will to suit differing needs for lighter, faster strikes or heavy, slower ones. Also helps with directing her magic. It weighs around 10lbs at it's usual form.
Power: Regeneration: Upon completion of the magical girl contract, Isana was given the power of accelerated regeneration when in her combat outfit. As you might expect, this means that she could even reattach severed limbs if she could reattach them in time. This gives her almost unprecedented ability to simply outlast most of her opponents in a fight.
Perks: Allies - Gained an ally. Ulathate, or simply 'Ula', was an agent of the Ebon Mint, as well as a follower of a Horror. Once a magical girl, she now is a spider-esque Monster Girl and works for the mint, though often does not concern herself with their affairs. She was the one who ate the Puchuu fubbed up Isana's contract. While she works for the Mint and her motives are in question as well as possibly her loyalties, she does seem to show some attachment to Isana.
Wings - Her uniform has wings, and allows her to have the ability to fly. It typically takes the form of her cloak that is draped over her shoulders, though when flying they can form into small black, leathery wings.
Eternal Style - Basically, always fabulous darlings. She is always surrounded by a pleasant smelling perfume, her clothes never seem tattered and she always seems to be able to dress appropriately for any situation. Makes it pretty easy to get dressed for any event, really. Considering her lazy nature it is a boon from the gods.
Environmental Sealing - She generates a thin air of oxygen around her, as well as being immune to pressure as well as environmental extremes. She can share this with people around her, but must be touching them constantly. Doesn't protect against direct attacks, but she can walk around in a snowstorm in her underwear. I wouldn't put it past her.
Gifted - Isana has always been a rather tough sort, even before the transformation. Not physically, considering her previous occupation but she's always been one to power through any obstacles that stand before her. Perhaps this translated to extra Vitality for her after the contract was made.
Patron: Black Mint - A shady organization that she 100% does not trust at all.
Solo - Beholden to none, save the Mint should she decide to use the Black Coin.
Patron Benefits: Black Coin - Saving this for a rainy day.
Non-Exclusivity - well, not that she wanted to work for anyone anyways...
Free Agent - Will work for telling her she's pretty and sums of money. Possibly other shiny things she could sell for money.
Mana Font - Well, whatever happened with the Puchuu seemed to leave her with a rather large supply of natural Mana.
Patron Drawbacks: Debt - Hooo, boy. She'll have to pay up in some fashion once she uses that. She is not looking forward to it. Suppose she could just blast 'em in the face, though.
Betrayal - Zero trust for her, Zero trust for them! How nice! It's a zero-trust party! She'll go get the knives for stabbing people in the back!
Alone - Well, she's been alone most of her life...nothing really new here. She doesn't mind.
Fighting Style: Hit 'em hard so they don't get back up. Isana's general mindset when it comes to fighting. Really, she doesn't particularly seemed very motivated to fight most of the time though, unless it's either by money or just looks like a fun fight - a challenging one. Otherwise she'll leave it to the other girls.
When she does fight, though, Isana takes an 'Overwhelming offense' approach to things. Generally, she has no need to use slow moving earth armor to protect herself since she can effectively almost regenerate well enough from anything. She likes to hit foes hard, fast, and repeatedly. Either from a distance or from a close range with Vale. Typically, she attacks either from the air with her wings or more firmly on the ground. At range, she uses a barrage of long-range earth mortars to drop literal mountains on people.
At mid to close range, you can expect her to mix fast moving rock attacks with swordplay, changing the size of Vale to suit her needs and method of attacks.
If, it comes down to it and she hast to effectively become a walking 'tank', this is where her abilities come into play. Donning stone armor along with her regeneration abilities...well, she could do that all day. Often times, Ula supports her with her spells.
Stats (Untransformed): STR: 3 AGI: 3 VIT: 6 (3 retained from transformed Stats) ~Easily is able to shrug off a punch MAG: 3 LCK: 3
Stats (Transformed): STR: 9 ~Can almost lift a full refrigerator. Around 170lbs AGI: 9 ~Fairly accurate and quick on her feet. Hit a bullseye from around 17ft. VIT: 10 ~Knives? HA! Knives and swords can be shrugged off fairly easily. MAG: 12 ~Erm. Long-range Stone mortar strike bombardment anyone? LCK: 4 ~Luck? Who needs it!
Personality: When on the job, Isana is rambunctious, somewhat catty and overall fairly friendly in manner, if a bit of a handful as far as her almost limitless supply of energy tends to wear on people. For the most part, she's fairly upbeat and always tries to take things with a positive spin. She enjoys a good, hard-fought brawl, hanging with people she considers acquaintances or friends, as well as general nonsense. You can always expect her to try and butt her nose in somewhere it doesn't belong, if she catches wind of something going on. She might not do anything if its too troubling or doesn't look like it'd be any various meanings of the word 'good time', but expect her to mess with people regardless just for giggles sometimes.
While out of the job, as her appearance might suggest Isana takes a much more lackadaisical approach to life. Generally good natured and still catty, she is much slower and more calm when doing things. Her outward working Persona seems to vanish almost instantly, really. She just wants to sleep, man. She'll enjoy the limelight as much as anyone, but she likes her alone time. Some might simply call her look 'eternally tired' or 'Tired of everythings and everyone's shit'
Of course, one should note she is a rather greedy little thing. She works for two reasons: Money and a good brawl, and will often see a good fight going on and wouldn't mind inserting a bit more chaos into that factor by attacking a magical girl that's already under attack from something else, even if she has no idea what's going on. This causes a bit of trouble for people, understandably...but she has to get practice from somewhere, right? Money and financial advancement is a huge reason for her doing this. She may not like the Mint and will hesitate to use the Black Coin until its a life or death situation, but if she has to use it, she will.
That said, she is far from a terrible person, Just a bit of a realist when it comes to other people. She puts herself first over everyone else typically, and that is simply that. She rarely risks her life for people if there is no profit or something in it for her – but if she deems something, or someone, valuable enough to put her life on the line for you can always expect her to have your back, no matter what.
History: Where to start? Originally born in Germany, Isana and her parents moved to the town of Penrose at an early age to hopefully escape financial problems back home. It worked...sort of. Her parents got stable jobs and for the most part were able to provide, but they were hardly ever middle class. Living in a small two-bedroom apartment barely big enough for the three of them was a clear indication of that. Still, her parents worked themselves to death to pay off old debts as well as make their lives at least somewhat comfortable. Isana went to school, and focused solely on her grades despite not exactly being the brightest out there.
When she was twenty she finally got a somewhat well paying job as an IT specialist in some office working with computer code and similar things. It paid well, though was tiring and mentally stressful work, but she did it. Her life was fairly normal, really, but it was difficult and she always dreamed of being absolutely rich enough to get out of the dump.
Well, imagine her surprise when she stumbled across a rather terrifying monster and a small girl fighting it. She had no fucking idea what was even happening, but she instantly knew, this was gonna be a money maker. Well, while the magical girl went and fought this monster, Isana simply watched, trying to process how she could try and make money from this. Well, in the process of saving her butt (might she add, she liked to think she had a very fine but) The magical girl was eaten. Like, you know. Eaten eaten. Swallowed whole almost. By some sort of spider monster.
Oh, and there was a funny little thing called a Puchuu floating next to her and basically told her it was gonna make her a magical girl and she was gonna fight that thing and kill it.
uh, what?
Well, in the process the Puchuu was also eaten, but on the bright side it was somewhat successful? She was standing in a rather funny military outfit, looked about twenty years younger and...also had a rather angry looking spider thing glaring at her. Yep, bad times. Her first instinct was to run, but the spider seemed to...say something? Now that was odd, and a few seconds later it reverted to a somewhat more...humanish form. Still had spidery legs growing out of her back and was wearing almost absolutely nothing aside from a rather skimpy purple outfit, but...she wasn't dead.
After a bit of discussion with this Ulathate, she decided to take the offer of being introduced to the Mint. Heh, Fortune seemed like it might be within her grasp after all...
Incantation: "Pillars of earth in unwavering defense; Spears of earth to pierce even metal; Seethe earth!"
other: A lot of stat buffs from coins - only used a bronze to give her a melee weapon.
"The whispers of the Old Ones were ravenous last night...if there is nothing you need, leave me be."
Name: Ulathate Formerly, Beatrice, though she does not speak about her previous life or name.
Age (Magical Girl): 12
Age (Before Magical Girl): 28
Gender: Female
Gender (Before Magical Girl): Female
Appearance: Her actual human body, stands about as tall as one might expect of a twelve year old. Around a simply four foot eight and is even less physically impressive looking than Isana. In her normal, monstrous form, Ula has long black hair falling to her back with eyes the color of blood...six of them. Yep. Six. Above her normal human eyes are small round red colored orbs which are also used for vision. For the most par they are covered up by her bangs, though. Upon her back grow four, spider like appendages. They are dexterous, and able to be used just as well as any other appendage of hers with excellent grip strength that one might expect of spider legs. Typically, she walks around on these four limbs instead of her human legs. Most often she wears...well, not much. just thin strips of cloth covering her chest, and similar clothing covering her lower half. Chitinous, dark purple coverings cover her human legs, and he fingernails form sharp points. She has spider like fangs for canines instead of normal teeth.
Typically, she looks tired and observes her surroundings rather passively.
Ula's human form is about as normal looking as she could have, though she doesn't like using it since it is exhausting. She has the same long black hair, and the outfit turns into a a simple black dress covering most of her body with long black stockings covering her legs. She isn't really a fan of it...but she doesn't exactly have much of a choice.
Specialization: Ula's monstrous soul grants her specialization over both Ice and Lightning.
With ice, she is skilled in freezing her surroundings as well as using long ranged icy projectiles. lightning she typically reserves for more direct and focused attacks. She doesn't like fighting a whole lot, and only uses most of her abilities in a more support capacity to fight foes from a distance while someone else engages up close.
Weapon: The Boreal Star - a staff that tends to align itself with ice-type magics. It is an excellent focus for her magical abilities, even the lightning ones. It doesn't really do very many things that are special aside from basically shoot magical lasers.
Power: Killing Blow - Magic "Annihilate, Boreal Fulmination!" - Originally a purely ice-related attack, when her soul was twisted the attack also had its nature changed. Exhausting all of her magic power in one, explosive blast, Ula calls forth the power of both the Frigid Ice and devastating Lighting to annihilate a target. A massive electrical discharge falls from the heavens, large enough to cover your average skyscraper completely. Upon collision, instead of burning, it freezes. The area around it is almost flash-frozen, halting anything living in its tracks unless it is sufficiently strong. Moments later, the ice explodes violently and sends large shards of icy shrapnel flying in every direction.
Perks: Monstrous Metamorphosis - Something she's had since she became a magical girl. Its effects became much more pronounced upon becoming a monster girl. Giant angry frost breathing/lightning spewing spider is not fun. (I'll find a suitable picture later if it becomes relevant, it's late....) It tends to trigger if she's really hungry, or starts getting carried away in a fight/is afraid she might die.
Flexibility: She's well, flexible. Really much more so than the average human. Perhaps it's because she's no longer human? Either way, expect ninja flips and feats of agility from her.
Enhanced outfit: Her skin is fairly naturally tough, thanks to her outfit. It can reliably shrug off a number of attacks from lesser weapons without much effort, and helps channel her abilities better with it.
Mutations: Nonstandard Limbs: Yeah, she's got spider limbs. Like, four of them. Also six eyes.
Devourer: She has developed an almost insatiable appetite. She eats quite often, and well...lets just say she knows what humans taste like.
Powerful Aura: Well, at least she got a vast amount of magical ability and Aura from this.
Second Specialization: Attained a second specialization, able to now fully utilize Lightning abilities.
Patron: Ebon Mint Horrors
Patron Benefits: Black Coin: Already used. Non-exclusivity: Well...she works for a horror?
Marked: Ula has a mark upon her left shoulder, branded into her skin. An odd, runic sigil which seems to radiate power. Creeping Doom: Oh it is patient...ever so patient...it will happen, for everything ends with Chaos and destruction. Reasonable: What? reasonable? Perhaps, but it does have its wants...
Patron Drawbacks: Debt: yeah, she has a lot of that. Betrayal: Mhm, yep, she's pretty sure she'd be dead.
Insomnia: Sleep...haha, it's for the weak! Mind-Bent: Human flesh...tastes delicious right? Ooooh, the bloood. Sweet blood, it sings to me... Quick-Tempered: Alright alright, geez, I'm on it!
Fighting Style: Typically, Ula prefers a more ranged combat role. Harassing enemies from afar with spears of ice and bolts of lighting. She likes to pace herself, but is constantly moving around the field using her spider legs and somewhat superior agility.
Stats (Untransformed): These start at 3. CYOA options indicate if they apply out of costume as well. STR: 3 AGI: 4 (1 retained from stats) VIT: 3 MAG: 3 LCK: 3
Personality: Taciturn and generally quiet, Ula does not speak much. While not rude, she is far form friendly to most and typically speaks in a more or less business and matter of fact manner. That's not saying she has any desire not to befriend or work with someone, quite the opposite, but her nature as both a monster girl and servant of a Horror tend to...well, a lot of people tend to not like her. If it wasn't for the Mint seeing some value in her and Isana befriending her, she'd probably have devolved into a simple monster a long time ago.
She prefers the quite, since she so rarely gets it with the eldritch mutterings of the Old Ones ringing constantly in her head, and is why she tends to simply observe things unless the Mint or Isana has need of her.
That said, she is easily swayed by the smell of blood and violence into something much more beastly.
History: She doesn't like talking much about her history, though she comments simply it was nothing interesting to talk about. She does say she's lived in Penrose all of her life, and once upon a time was a simple customer service rep at some fancy store. At least, until a Puchuu got his mitts...paws, whatever, on her. Honestly? She wasn't interested. She just wanted a quiet life, really, but it seemed she wouldn't be able to easily get that. The Puchuu was supposed to turn her into a magical girl...except something else got its spidery limbs on her first.
Well...great, she was working for a lovecraftian horror now. Thankfully it didn't seem too intent to order her around or make her do some abhorrent ritual. All she was tasked with was ensuring the web was completed, to stop those who would destroy it, and ensure the end came.
Whatever that meant. Having no idea what to do, it wasn't long before the Mint got their claws in her as well. They offered her some semblance of security, some sort of...place of peace. All she had to do, was do one tiny thing for them. Well, it didn't exactly go well for her, and she was forced to use the black coin or die.
Well, now she's in a huge debt to the Mint.
She's been working for them ever since...for around five years.
Incantation: "Ancient one of the Hyperborean valley, spinner in darkness, bring to ruin all who would halt the advancement. Freeze Ice, crackle lightning!"
Name: Penny Asimov, Laat’Alofan’s Chosen, The Gray Lady
Age (Magical Girl): 16
Age (Before Magical Girl): 29
Gender: Female
Gender (Before Magical Girl): Male
Specialization: Metal & Lightning, the heralds of the modern age. These are the aspects that Penny's soul best reflect. Thus they have become her prison. She has little capability for the casting of magic, but her body has been rebuilt with what her soul flourishes with; A body of steel, with blood of lightning. The best she can do is simple telekinetic cantrips, and using natural states of her elements to help recharge her mana reserves.
The insight to machine that comes with the instinct of metal helps in day to day situations, and she is always a bit quicker then expected due to the lightning in her veins.
Weapons: Due to that changes that have been forced upon Penny he whole body has become weapon, In addition to simple unarmed strikes, she can project energy blades from various parts of her body(Hands,Feet,Knees,Elbows) to devastating effect.
.:Powers:.
Regeneration: Things breaking down in inevitable, it is in how quickly they can be put back together that is important. As a Valued resource Laat'AlOfan see to it that Penny is never far from her top condition.
Razing Avalon (Killing Blow): The one true spell that Penny has, a physical blow designed to rend the Walls of Avalon if needed. It will be quite some time before Penny has that capacity to do such however, In the mean time it is still a strike to be wary of.
.:Perks:.
Closure: The life Penny had before is gone, the touch of Laat’Al’Ofan has cleansed all traces of it away. She has no need to hide what has happened as there is no one left who knew her. She has seen her own tombstone and put to rest the life she used to have as best she can.
Martial training: There are many way to break things, so very many ways. This is a precious first gift given by Laat’AlOfan, proper instruction in how to properly break other people. It is imprinted deeply enough that the skill remain regardless of which state Penny is in.
Enhanced Sustenance: Due to being the Chosen of Laat’Alofan Penny no longer requires much upkeep a Handful of hours for sleep and nearly everything is now a possible source of nutrients. Even breathing has become obsolete, though habits are hard to break with that one.
Monstrous Metamorphoses: In times of great stress, part of what makes Penny, Penny, will slip away drowned out by the urge to rend and shear. In time like these she become nothing but an engine of destruction. Thankfully these times are short, but they always leave an impact on the world around her.
Patron: Laat'AlOfan
+Clergy+: The Rites of Alofan are simple things as destruction is a simple thing. That being said, His Rites are varied, and most commonly seen as demolition projects. Thus his clerics are proficient in all manner of official demolition practices.
+Paragon+: Destruction is not an easy task; those that have been drafted for it are blessed to both deal it with greater capability and the resilience to resist being destroyed in turn.
+Physical Prowess+: Some are blessed with more than others; Penny is blessed with even more resilience then normal
+Magical Overload-: Half a blessing, Granted to only one of Laat’AlOfan’s girls, dubbed his Chosen, it grants His Chosen with greater Physical might at the cost of overt magical skill, and the radiance of a multifaceted soul.
-Monstrous Form+: Half a curse, this is the cost of being His Chosen, A body that reflects a twisted mockery of its soul, and the unending urge to rip and tear. A need as real as food or water, grafted permanently to His Chosen’s mind.
+Supplier+: Not all destruction is produced on a whim, sometimes planning is needed, and when one plans they will often need supplies to carry out said plan. Laat 'AlOfan Is always willing to help those that seek to break that which is established, and will endeavor to see that the tools of destruction that they need but don’t have, will soon find its way in to their hands.
-Rites-: There are many rites that Laat'AlOfan can claim as his own. In truth every act of destruction is a Rite of his. That being said their are a few specific rites that He demands be followed. The First: Break quickly: You must seek to Break your Fast within a hour of waking. The Second: Embrace new growth: Nothing owned maybe older then four seasons. The Third: Remember the task: You must seek out something to destroy at least once a Moon cycle. The Last: Roots must never last: No home may be kept longer then two seasons.
Fighting Style: Penny's fighting style is a very controlled, if improvisational unarmed style, which degrades to unreasoning brutality as she nears becoming a full Engine of Destruction, her magical talent is laughably weak as she has been rebuilt for the purpose of physically destroying that which stands in her way. she will use Lighting to draw power from power lines and such to get her strength back quickly and small telekinetic control over metal to pull useful objects to her if needed.
For the most part she is a defensive Fighter, counters and parries are her main courses of actions. Unless she has fully lost at witch point she switches to unrelenting assault. The main similarity is her willingness to use any and everything on hand as a weapon if needed.
Personality: Kind and altruistic, Penny always tries to look on the bright side of things and is always willing to help out those she can. Seemingly naive, She is always trusting of people at first meeting. Though that come more from her ability to take care of herself than of lack of judgement.
Unafraid and out going she will be the first to introduce herself and to try and make friends. That beings said she is woefully unprepared for the life she must now lead, and is very hesitant to talk about who she used to be. She can at time come off as conflicted and uncomfortable in her own skin, which is true for a variety of reasons. She has a good deal of empathy for those that have had their lives radically altered.
History: Few people, if any, are willingly inducted to carry out Laat'AlOfan’s will. Penny is no different. Back when ‘She’ was ‘He’ it was a simple case of wrong place wrong time. The Girl that Penny has replaced, like many before her, found a way to slip out from Laat's grasp, and chose to do such in defiance of the destructive God.
Were it at a different time, Jason would have kept his normal life, But it was a crucial time, and 'AlOfan rarely asks for permission from those he chooses to aid him, He sought the closest person who soul resonated with his intention and acted.
Incantation: "Limiters released and Systems are green. Circuits Charged and Steel Sharpened I Stand Ready for Action!"
Additional Info - Original name: Jason Oliver Prefers to stay in human form as much as possible. Hasn’t full adjusted to the Gender Switch that has happened. Is somewhat inexperienced at the whole Magical girl thing, As Her appointment as chosen only happened around 6 months ago.
Type: Deity
Name: Laat 'AlOfan, Enforcer of change, He Who Brushes Away the Old, The Unmaker
Patron Benefits: N/A
Patron Drawbacks:
Loud: He doesn't speak often but when he does everyone will hear it, and likely several something’s will likely be broken because of it.
Rites: There are many rites that Laat'AlOfan can claim as his own. The Hidden: Everything breaks: This rite he keeps to himself, letting his Girls discover it for themselves; The rites need not be followed at all times. Only one rite need be held true per year, but it can't be the same one consecutively.
Unknown: He has no true followers, as any religion that lasted for any significant age He would destroy as building things that last is directly opposed to his task. Thus very few have heard of him, and even then what knowledge they have is limited.
Personality: Laat is a being of action, a bringer of Chaos. Tasked with destroying that which has passed, he quietly fulfills his given mandate. Bringing about the rumination of things that are old or no longer needed nor wanted, His is a thankless task, though important one.
He is measured is his actions however, He does not seek unending destruction. Only to brush away stagnation and force new growth to take the place of what once was. Creation and Destruction as two parts of a whole, and Laat'Alofan is Content to be the one who breaks so that others can create.
It is this that drives him to strike both at the Light and the Dark. The Light, as it tends to cling on to it's past glories and in doing so forces it to keep growing, the Dark because it often seeks to burn everything to ash and leave it as such, and with continued failure it must learn new ways to complete it goals. Thus Laat'AlOfan is firmly between them both neither fully ally nor fully enemy, but forever requiring innovation and removing the woks that came before.
History: What history there is of Laat’AlOfan is kept by Laat’AlOfan himself. It is not in his nature to let things last. Thus in an effort to fulfill his nature he withholds his own history so one day, when He is no longer needed He will have already removed any trace of his passing, and thus will have already destroyed himself as it were.
Resources: Laat'AlOfan As old and powerful as he may be, knows that he can not always fulfill his task by himself. To aid in his efforts He drafts the aid of Magical Girls, six he chooses as rank and file soldiers to seek and destroy aging monsters and to combat those of the dark that have taken a deeper Root.
One monster answers to His call, a titanic beast that's sole purpose is wide spread, unrepentant destruction. It is a last resort, used when all other attempts have failed for once His beast has been set loose, very few things can stop it before it has ravaged everything in its sight.
And lastly there is his Chosen, A Magical Girl, twisted by his power and gifted great power in return. They are his greatest warrior. Destruction is in their blood, gifted with the skills, knowledge and capabilities of both Man and Monster. They are used both as a scalpel to cleanly and precisely strike out those that have taken deep root in new growth, and as unrestrained bombs to wipe clean vast swaths at once as needed by his will.
Payment for services rendered are rarely things of permanence, Coin both mundane and magical is the most common as it allows his follows to replace their old gear and supplies as needed by his tenets, though if not spent soon the rewards have a way of being lost. Occasionally he will bestow a Boon either with a Tool of some sort that will reforge its self every month in to something new, Or with a single use magical item, often destructive in nature but not always. Lastly and only in extreme circumstances he will give the gift of freedom and allow one of his follows to truly die releasing them from their bonds of servitude. It is a gift he wishes he could give more freely, but knows that few would choose to stay if given the choice.

Specialization: Ice
Weapon: Ranged, Sniper Rifle Grail Rifle - This weapon is a sniper rifle with a long history. It is golden with silver stripes in a horizontal pattern on it. The weapon had an eerie aura surrounding it. It has a gun case it stays in at all times. The Grail Rifle has an advanced sniper scope that can see targets at 1,250 yards away. It can shoot magical ice bullets or regular .338 Lapua Magnum rounds. This weapon is a showpiece weapon of the Grail Family as a whole.
Power: Killing Blow - Magic “Arctic Ice Blast” - As the name suggests it is an Arctic Ice Blast, which covers a certain area around the target it is fired at. It targets the largest of all the creatures and turns them into an Ice sculpture and all the area around it is an ice skating rink. She is completely vulnerable if it misses. The missing of a target in the distance will be a massive shaped ice pillar in the distance, which somewhat looks like columns that hold up structures.
Perks: Mystic Artifact - Able to glimpse into the future. This only happens when she's near her query. Enhanced Sustenance - 4 hours to get a full night’s rest. Fiona only eats half of a meal ready to eat or MRE. It increases her vitality by a bit. Familiar - She has a black cat familiar by the name of Nina. The familiar is quite annoyed and usually turns into a regular human at the most inconvenient times. In her regular human form, she has cat ears on the top of her head. Nina helps her in the inconvenient times. Eternal Style - Her fashion tastes are quite messed up. She also has a perfume smell of roses following her everywhere she goes. All her clothes stay in pristine condition. All her other parts of her body are in perfect order, which means she has no body hair, her teeth never rot, her hair never tangles, and her nails are in perfect order. A Way Out - She has a way out if she wants to ditch Zargoth the Endless’ torment. Wings - This she gained when she became her Zargoth’s monstrous angelic servant.

Hoarder: She hoards knick knacks and useless trinkets that have no meaning to them. She even hoards power since she is now the owner of the Grail Corporation, which primarily is because of her family’s deaths.
Chaos Engine: She causes much chaos by speaking sweet delights into someone’s ear. She usually gives very bad advice to people, which usually causes them to die. Chaos is all she believes in and adding a little or much is always a treat to her face.
Powerful Aura: Her aura is quite visible around her. It is a purplish blue aura that pulses in ultraviolet and normal light throughout a large radius around her. She buffs any allies deemed necessary with it.
Patron: Zargoth the Endless
Patron Benefits: Magical Overload - Fiona overloaded with too much magical energy and changed her form into a six-winged angel working for Zargoth the Endless. Marked - His mark is twisted and endless. The torments on her are massive and severe but the exact design is quite strange. It is an infinity sign within a pentagram. It is on her back leg pulsing with a magical force. Mystical Might - Zargoth was generous enough to increase her lucky streak since she had troubles with that.
Patron Drawbacks: Mind-Bent - She has multiple problems with her mind. She has an obsession with staying alive. The reason for this is because of Thanatophobia, the fear of death caused her to do this. She also has hallucinations of seeing her entire family dead or dying in front of her asking for the sweet relief of death. She always obliges their request for death. Insomnia - Zargoth whispers in her sleep constantly awakening her. Monstrous Form - Zargoth twisted her to become his angel fighting against the other evils of the natural world. He has no idea what kind of irony he placed on her but he enjoys a good laugh at her expense in some cases.
Fighting Style: Her fighting style is all about staying away at long distance, she can use magical ice bullets, which are similar to .338 Lapua Magnum Rounds in terms of their travel distance. Her ice magic is primarily for long range fighting. She has a terrible fear of death is the primary reason why she stays away from close ranged combat.
If an enemy gets in close she'll try to freeze them in place and try to run away to a position where she can use her range to an advantage. All the ice magic she uses are half of the range her sniper rifle can hit and that is still a long range. However, her Arctic Ice Blast is quite the opposite to her chosen style of fighting since it requires at least 200 yards to 350 yards near the target to get a great hit on them. She only uses it in desperate situations.
Personality: Her personality is twisted because of Zargoth, it allowed her to do the one thing she never thought possible. She gained immense freedoms when her family died. She has about two primary obsessions, one is more to her personal tastes and the other is more to her state of being alive. The other one is the color of red, she wears red all the time. She has a pet peeve, which is she hates being called Ice Queen and goes off the deep end. Her primary fear is dying, which is called Thanatophobia.
She loves bringing chaos to the world and she hoards much stuff, which is useless to someone else but useful to her since it is ammo, necklaces and other things. She also hoards power as well. She has Zargoth ringing in her ears, but she likes talking a bit more than most people who are under command of the horrors. She is very friendly to most people who don’t get in her way, she does not know why her master has grudges against the people he does.
She is very truthful to her master since she is one of the three champions of Zargoth. She never lies to him or any of her allies within Zargoth’s employ. She is allowed to defend herself against the Infinite Dragons if they leak into the material plane....
History:
Fiona was born to the Grail Family, a very rich and wealthy family living outside of Penrose. The Grail Estate is where she was born and living at. The Grail Family owns the Grail Corporation that manufactures clothes. Her family considers her the runt of the family because of her mindset, it is very closed minded to change. It doesn’t help that she is also the youngest out of all of the Grail Family. Her entire family calls her an ice queen, which includes her seven older sisters, her mother, and father. Her father’s name is Nick L. Grail and her mother’s name is Helena J. Grail. Her seven older sister’s names are May, Nancy, Ashley, Darcy, Lisa, Ophelia and finally Sasha. This is the entirety of the Grail Family.
Her life within the Grail Family was boring she always liked when her father Nick opened the showpiece weapon, which is a sniper rifle that has much history about it. Her entire family had no idea, why the weapon had a black aura around it at all. She didn’t either but she had the most interest in the weapon. Her father specifically told her never to touch it. She decided one day to go against her father’s wishes and touch the Grail Rifle. She was highly bored, she wanted something more exciting than what she had to deal with since she was the accountant for her family’s business.
She sneaked into her father’s study and looked at the Grail Rifle in its case but she felt a strange sensation coming over her, it was like the weapon spoke to her. It told her to wield it and great things will happen to her and prepare for the upcoming darkness. She was confused on what that meant but she was happy to get out of her boring lifestyle and get somewhere in her family’s business as the CEO of it. She opened the case, however, it caused the alarms to go off in the entire estate, this woke up her family. They rushed to the study and saw, Fiona, doing something stupid.
Nick tried to stop his daughter from doing something stupid, but that was when she touched the weapon. She transformed right in front of them into a monster girl, right in front of their eyes. She looked at them slightly with hatred in her eyes. She was much shorter than she was and she smiled evilly at her family. She slowly walked up to her family holding the Grail Rifle and fired it at her father’s leg, injuring him. Her family was in utter shock and they couldn’t move, but they didn’t know what their Ice Queen would do next.
Her eyes looked, even more, angrier when they all said her nickname they gave her to insult her. She forced her family to beg for death and she gave them the sweet release of death. She heard from an entity from beyond calling itself Zargoth the Endless’ and it wholeheartedly enjoyed what she did to her own family. He called her his champion, the Chaotic Seraph Angel. He did something a big brother does, he altered her memories slightly but this caused her to have hallucinations about things.
She wasn’t going to have a boring life as an Accountant any longer. She took the first step in her life to regain it. She hated her boring life before she gained a renewal on her existence. She had gained magical powers at the cost of being a magical champion to an entity she had no idea, where it is. Zargoth wanted her to be his champion in the material plane. About a few months afterward, she was questioned by the police in her human form disguise. She told the police that an intruder killed her family and left her alive. The police believed her since she looked like an 11-year-old girl, and the Grail Family had many enemies that wanted to use the youngest in a takeover plot and use her as a puppet.
She was allowed to go scot free for now, they couldn’t find the murder weapon, the Grail Rifle. In addition, they placed armed guards nearby the Grail Estate in the case of the plot to use her as a puppet does happen. All this happened in short order, but after that, it was like 2 years later and she has been given many things from Zargoth. She enjoyed working with her patron and he finally told her where he lived and still living in.
The event of the deaths of the Grail Family and their youngest daughter alive is still on the news every single day in Primrose. The Grail Corporation holds anniversary of the loss of their CEO’s family on her birthday, the 9th of June. She was relieved, the Grail Corporation’s Council Chairmen and Women allowed her to be a CEO of the Grail Estate. Her parents were doing that too and it is a tradition for the CEO to stay at home anyway.
Incantation: ”I am the Chaotic Seraph Angel! My sniper shots and ice attacks will shatter your souls.”
Additional Info:
She has forgotten she killed her own family in cold blood when she first turned into a Magical Girl. The truth is hidden in her hallucinations. She was questioned constantly but she was a great liar and as well, she didn’t really remember about killing her family.
Type: Horror
Name: Zargoth the Endless
Patron Benefits: Creeping Doom - He has waited for endless eons to get what he wanted. Supplier - He supplies desires of his minions with all nonmagical items, which is in his reach. Mana Font - He gives an endless font of a magical essence to anyone who works for him.
Patron Drawbacks: Vendetta - He has a vendetta against Beacon, Lesser Forces, and Puchuu. Big Brother - He constantly checks up on his minions. He can also tell if you are lying too.
Personality: His personality is vast like the oceans and strong willed towards certain enemies it outright hates. The only human family that gained his ire was the Grail Family for killing one of his greatest creations, the Endless Behemoth. It was a massive creation, which was an Eldritch abomination, but he no longer employs such horrors. He wanted to control the destinies of that family in particular because of this, but this finally was completed when he gained his final champion, which was Fiona. He is a big brother to all his minions, which listen to his word as gospel to their ears, but he quite hates talking to the Infinite Dragons and allows his conduits to talk to him. He knows if they are telling lies to him or not because of the conduits, which are Endless Dragons.
He has a vendetta against Beacon, Lesser Forces, and Puchuu. These entities caused him to shift his focus from Eldritch abominations to a semi-military structured regime. He does this simply allows the champions to lead their angel-like monsters to whatever they are required to do. He gave nicknames to his angelic forces classified as ”Zargoth’s Chosen.” He has been watching humanity grow in a way, which scares him and fascinates him all at the same time.
He has new goals, besides what he usually does sleeping on a cache of mundane and magical resources alike a massive dragon. These goals are unknown to all his minions until he tells them what he is doing. Zargoth is a quite a strange master to all his minions he doesn’t employ any true eldritch horrors. He is somewhat perverted, but he does not say anything perverted to his champions since they are magical girls. However, that doesn’t protect their underlings from that scrutiny, since they are upwards 200 years old in most cases but look 20 years old.
He is friendly to any and all other Eldritch Horrors even if they hate his guts, he doesn’t mind that because he is strange compared to the others. All the Angel-Like Monsters used to be human, but he corrupted them himself via mind warping them through his conduits. His champions are corrupted via touching an old weapon they shouldn’t be touching.
History:
The Endless’ history he is completely ancient and has been watching the growth of humanity on their little ball of terra called Earth for eons of years. The planet caught his interest when it showed it had magical weak points, which he exploited. He enjoyed this for a time, but he had no goals at that point of his life he was just playin’ around with a planet’s population for the hell of it. When he was doing this, he had a human appearance of a very tall man standing at 10 ft and 5 inches. He had king-like facial features, the only odd thing out was the eyes, they were a very rare color of pure black eyes. He gained rivals he hates for all time since they interfered in his growing up phase as an Eldritch horror, which caused him to change his strategies.
He cursed three weapons with his own essence for three people to pick them up to become his champions. The family he specifically targeted was, the Grail Family. He crafted specific weapons for each of them in their time. When they would pick up said weapon and wield it for him. The Grail Family caused him great sorrow when he had to discontinue the use of true eldritch horrors for more of an insidious approach. The one that caused him the most pain was a high powered sorceress of an ancient kingdom, which has fallen to ruin it was called the Saintly Kingdom of the Vigorous. She was the mother to his first champion, Heather who became the Endless Queen. The entire kingdom was full of magi, but Heather had no magical talent until she became his champion.
He watched as his champion grew in strength against her own mother’s employer, who was the Queen of the Kingdom. However, there was something more insidious going on within this kingdom. He tried finding proof of his enemies, which are the lesser forces, Beacon, and Puchuu were somehow involved in this kingdom. He couldn’t find that answer, but his paranoia got the best of him and he caused a calamity within it. He turned every single person within the kingdom into the Endless Guards. However, he couldn’t find Heather’s mother within the transformed, which would mean she escaped.
He was relieved that happened. He needs three champions and he couldn’t do that if he destroyed the family line now. Heather wielded an ancient and powerful Grail weapon called the Mystic Staff of the Grails, but in reality, it was a part of the Endless himself. He allowed time to the past and then another Grail family member caught his eye and her name was Sara, this was like 100 years had passed from the time he gained Heather as a champion. The Grail family was now royalty this time around, but there was no magic within the entire family line. Heather was the first born without magic. He was pleased, with this and crafted a melee weapon with his essence, it was called The Endless Scimitar but the Grail family called it the Grail Sword of Justice. He enjoyed their arrogance of naming it.
Sara was the youngest in the line, similar to Heather when she was born. He came to the conclusion of wild speculation, that his enemies told Heather’s mother and the older children to flee from the kingdom. However, he forgot that he told his champion to tell her mother and family to flee before they are turned into what she is. He was going to be much more picky on who he turns into his minions instead of turning an entire kingdom into minions. Means, that the next two minion types are going to be the similar to the Endless Guard, in terms of Angelic-like beings, but going to have opposite goals for what they do as a whole. He came up with it on the fly, Terror Angels and Chaos Angels, one causes terror and the other causes chaos.
Sara was desperate and picked up the Grail Sword of Justice to defend her family from bandits. This caused her to transform in front of her family and the bandits. To become the Terror Seraph Angel, and she delighted herself in killing the bandits. Her family disowned her after that terrifying display. She had some say in handpicking the Terror Angels. Zargoth was pleased, he had the Terror Angels and Chaos Angels since they had to be sisters when they were transformed. However, he had to wait an incredibly long time for his last champion, the Chaotic Seraph Angel.
A long time had passed, he counted each year and every day as if a flower was constantly wilting and blooming all at once. The landscape changed and he saw the world gain much more new technology he was in awed in seeing. He had a fascination with these types of things since in his inner heart he is very old Endless Dragon, who forgot his original name but became an Eldritch Horror to sustain himself. He hoarded many magical artifacts, and others but the last weapon he created was the Grail Rifle, a high powered sniper rifle with his own essence.
Zargoth sensed the Grail Family near a city called Penrose and he made the weapon he just created appear in the family’s estate, which is a massive mansion outside of the city. He felt a soul who was bored of her life and wanted to be free of it. This person would become his final champion and end the Grail family line. Her name was Fiona S. Grail, and she became his Chaotic Seraph Angel. He learned what century it was from her mind, it was in the 21st century of humanity as a whole. With one of his life long goals out of the way gaining champions, he set his sights on something different. All three of his champions have the same mark, an infinity sign within a pentagram.
He hasn’t told his minions, champions or anyone of these new goals since he doesn’t want his Infinite Dragons to blurt them out. He outright dislikes these dragons but he has to keeps them for the entertainment of seeing them die by friend or foe alike in his own twisted head. He told his champions where he lives, it is called the Endless Dimension and he’s within the Endless Crystal Cave, which is the Endless Dragon Roost.
Resources: The Endless’ Minions are diverse in what he employs. The Endless’ has multiple types of monsters on his payroll, which are as follows, Terror Angels, Chaos Angels, Endless Guards, Void Metal Constructs, Endless Dragons, Infinite Dragons, Void Dragons, and three champions (Magical Girls). The Endless’ pays his minions in magical coins only if they show loyalty and tell the truth to him, but they can lie to humanity all they want. However, the champions get paid much more than his other kinds of monsters since they are leaders to the three angelic-like type monsters.
He had eons of years, to get the vast cache of mundane resources within his realm of power. He has the Endless Guards deliver said resources to his champions, but the most active one gets the most of what they are hoarding.
Additional Info:
Here’s information on Zargoth’s monster legions he commands. And they are quite informative.
Angelic-Like Monsters:
Terror Angels - These are Zargoth’s Terror Angels, they spread terror throughout humanity since they enjoy the screams much. They use melee weapons only. They use Air magic to slice their enemies with sickles of air and they can fly better with Air magic. They don’t fear death, they are fearless. They wear unholy angelic armor, which is the opposite of their sisters the Chaos Angels called Endless Chaos Armor that is silver in color and has symbols on it. They have two reddish silver wings with black stars on them. They are led by Sara N. Grail, the Terror Seraph Angel.
Chaos Angels - These are Zargoth’s Chaos Angels, they spread chaos throughout humanity since they enjoy it so much. They use ranged weapons only. They use Ice magic to freeze their enemies in place and enjoy the painful frozen death of anyone caught in their attacks. They fear death. They wear unholy angelic armor, which is the opposite of their sisters the Terror Angels called Endless Terror Armor that is purely black in color and has symbols on it. They have two blackish silver wings with red stars on them. They are led by Fiona S. Grail, the Chaotic Seraph Angel.
Endless Guards - These are the elite guards to Zargoth the Endless. They are quite stoic in their defense of their master within his realm. They use Illusion magic to confuse their foes and hide the fact they are nearby. They wear full female knighthood armor called Fathomable Endless Armor, which is gray. They have two void tendril wings. They are also used as the delivery service for Zargoth to the more active of his champions or minions. They are led by Heather I. Grail, the Endless Queen. They use magical weapons, which are mystical in nature.
Champions - He has three magical girls under his control from his enemies who sought to control their will. They are from the Grail Family. The latest addition, to his champions, was no other than Fiona S. Grail, the Chaotic Seraph Angel. The other two champions are called Sara N. Grail the Terror Seraph Angel and Heather I. Grail, the Endless Queen. Zargoth picked Fiona to be his latest champion within the material realm, while he keeps the other two for just in case emergencies. All the champions have six wings of their name they are given by Zargoth.
Construct Monsters:
Void Metal Constructs - The void part of this construct is classified as tendrils covered in a very strange metallic substance called, Endless Void Steel. These constructs are tasked with the training of the champions, but because of this, they have no magical attacks for themselves. The Endless Void Steel is similar to what the three angel types wear but stronger in some cases. They stand at 8 ft 5 inches and only use melee as their primary attack. You will know one is nearby if the entire area feels of a great chill down your spine. This is what they usually say, “The Endless Construct online, training commences now.”
Dragon-Like Monsters:
Endless Dragons - The endless dragons are the pets to Zargoth. They never leave their master’s side since they are able to connect him with all his minions all at once. They are the conduits to his will. They use Empathic and Psychic magic and usually combine the two to secretly contact the champions or any of the non-feral dragons. They are endlessly stuck as whelps but they have the strength of a dragon and are highly cute.
Infinite Dragons - The Infinite Dragons are quite dangerous to both friendly and enemies alike since they use time magic. They are quite intelligent for their size. They are black dragons, which control time itself and wish for everything to become a part of Zargoth’s territory. They monolog almost everything about their life goals but they never talk about their leader. They use everything in the dragon’s arsenal to fight and their breath attack is bluish green in color.
Void Dragons - The Void Dragons are feral compared to their intelligent brothers in the Infinite Dragons. The void dragons are covered in tendrils and for one goal they will destroy the enemies of their master, Zargoth. They use their tendrils on their body very good and they are gray in color. They are magically inclined with darkness, which something their master excels in. They use their poison breath attack and any of the other dragon type moves.
Zargoth lives in the Endless Dimension with his minions and he created it close to the replica of the kingdom he utterly decimated back in the day called the Saintly Kingdom of Vigorous. This is no saintly kingdom, however, it is the Endless Empire. There are three vast castles with a big city surrounding each of them. They are controlled by each of his angel-like monsters. He treats these with the most respect since they never lie to him.
He has three vast caves within this dimension as well, which holds the Void, Infinite, and Endless Dragons. He is, however, is an Endless Dragon. He has an entrance to the material plane, which is always closed, it looks like yin and yang the door. It can appear anywhere in the material world to connect his immaterial world to it. The only ones that can open it are his minions, which he allows through it. The larger monsters have to go through weak points in the magical protection field that protects them from incursions.
The Endless Dimension - The Locations
Infinite Dragon Roost - It is located in a time field swamp and it is highly dangerous since it slows down time or speeds it up. You don’t want to be near an Infinite Dragon when he walks out of the roost. It is called the Infinite Time Cave. The Infinite Dragons, they don’t recognize the Angel-like monsters as friendly since they are really humans. They will try to kill them at any chance they can get.
Void Dragon Roost - It has an underground entrance to the it. It has tendrils surrounding the entrance and only the champions of Zargoth can enter without the tendrils tearing them apart. It is called the Void Underground Cave.
The Endless Crystal Cave - Zargoth lives here with his conduits, the other endless dragons. It is endlessly dark and very hard to see within it, but he lays on a vast treasure of magical artifacts and non-magical things. The Eons he had collected it but he has no idea what it holds within it. He has never really taken a list down on what he has.
The Obsidian Castle of Terror - The Obsidian Castle of Terror is where the Terror Angels and their leader the Terror Seraph Angel resides. They get very well with the other angel-like monsters. They are fearless in combat so they have a banner on their castle symbolizing the blades they wield. The Terror Angels are sisters to the Chaos Angels.
The Obsidian Castle of Chaos - The Obsidian Castle of Chaos is where the Chaos Angels and their leader the Chaotic Seraph Angel resides. Fiona isn’t living within the castle yet, but this is where she would revive. They get very well with the other angel-like monsters. They are very dangerous with their long range fighting tactics since they fear death. They have a banner on their castle symbolizing the guns they wield, mostly their Leader’s Sniper Rifle. The Chaos Angels are sisters to the Terror Angels.
The Obsidian Castle of Zargoth - The Obsidian Castle of Zargoth is where the Endless Guards and their leader the Endless Queen resides. They are the elite guard of Zargoth, but they must protect their older brother at all cost. They are very stoic and wield mystical weapons, and they have banners of their emperor on their, Zargoth the Endless’ as his Endless Dragon form.
The Manufacture of Constructs - This is where the Void Metal Constructs are constructed, they are sent out to patrol the Endless Dimension. They have a directive is to protect, the Angel-like monsters from the Infinite Dragons at all costs while within the Endless Dimension. Their second directive is training the Champions of Zargoth. This looks the most out of place from all the locations within the Endless Dimension, since it is a world war two era factory within a dimension, which is primarily medieval in nature.
After thinking on it all through work I've come to a conclusion, I re-rolling my character. The reasoning is simple, not a lot of variety across all perspective characters and seeing as I can easily fix that by re-rolling mine that's what I'm going to do.
Right, I think I got the benefits/drawbacks right. Not entirely sure, but here ya go. Atlach-Nacha.
I redid the patron sheet a number of times because I couldn't decide if I wanted to pull directly from Lovecraft or come up with my own somewhat, lesser known entity, but well, here ya go.
Type: Horror
Name: Atlach-Nacha
Patron Benefits: Creeping Doom -It has waited a while, and it can wait longer. Reasonable -Deals will be struck. Trades will be made. Takes one to know one -Information is key. Always know your foes.
Patron Drawbacks: Quick-Temerped -For as long as it waits, it still wants its goals accomplished. Failure will not be tolerated. Bane -Coursing madness. Electricity, sparks with death. (weak to electric type magics.) Mind Bent
Personality: The first thing anyone who knows even at least a little about Atlach-Nacha, is that she absolutely loathes to leave her home between the realms of the horrors and the real world. Everything else, is rather up for debate. What little is known, is that she seems to not take much interest in humanity as a whole.
In truth, she is much less passive as some might be led to believe. Like all horrors, she desires things. What does she desire? To finish her web. A simple desire, but there are those that would undo her weaving. Why? It is said that when she finishes her web, that it will lead to the end of the world. Eldritch horrors would be able to come and go as they please, with gates opening between realms with no rites or gods to stand in their way.
But, why would she be considered 'reasonable' then? The weaving is nowhere near being done. Bridging the gap between planes in a somewhat physical manner, is no quick task. She has been weaving for eons, and will perhaps weave for more eons. All it wants, is for people to not interfere with its work. If it has to perhaps strike a few deals that could possibly slow down progress then she is not afraid to do it. As long as it gets completed in the end.
Despite this, no one truly will know what will happen when she is done. Perhaps nothing will happen? She does not inherently desire the destruction of humanity - she does not care for them, though. She just wants the web to be finished. Perhaps, finishing it might let something else happen entirely? Who knows - no one can know for sure until the deed has been done. Either way, she might be reasonable and willing to leave her servants to their own devices as long as her web is not in danger, but that doesn't mean she'll find allies in most places.
History: History? What history is there to speak of for an eldritch horror? It lives in a mountain in the now extinct kingdom of Hyperborea, what would now be greenland. A little known fact, to most people. Mount Voormithadreth, to be exact, wherever that is exactly. The horror has spent eons weaving a bridge between the realms, to connect them and isn't about to stop anytime soon.
Resources: At any given time, Atlach-Nacha only employs a handful of agents outside of her home. At most, only eight stationed at various places over the globe. One for each of her limbs, but often times it is less. Currently she only has four, and doesn't seem to be interested in gaining any more. As for monsters, it has no need for them. Monsters can not act as discreetly as she likes.
As for payment, Atlach-Nacha often prefers to pay her servants with eldritch rites and knowledge. Monetary gain is often a thing sometimes though, depending on services rendered. She at least understands physical beings need such trifling matters to live. What is given for payment though, varies greatly. It is hardly ever money, and more often an object of some mystical value found within the other realm. It is up to the followers to decide what to do with them.
Additional Info: As far as appearances go, there is fairly little to go on. An inhumanly large, spidery body is almost all any who has ever interacted with this one has ever been able to glimpse, or see. It supposedly has a face that looks upon one with doubt and inquiry.
A quick note on the Patrons, if anyone wants to share a Patron that would be fine. You would have to take the same benefits and drawbacks as the person who created them, and decide who controls the Patron. If anyone wants to do that instead of rolling, you should ask the creator of the Patron.
So, a couple of questions regarding stats and patrons.
I realize this is a free-form RP and whatnot, and the stats are more of a guideline, but will our characters be able to train/increase their respective stats and skills in some manner? Or are we simply locked into what we already have?
Secondly, would someone who is a solo patron like Isana, would they be able to pick up a patron later down the road if they decide they'd want to work exclusively for them? And if say, a magical girl decided to go against their patron, would they be able to?
Lastly, and more of a personal thing - In Ula's history I decided to go with 'Emergency' in regards to how she was first recruited. I sort of overlooked the two bonus Combat Perks from that, since under the Ally perk you can only choose three combat ones. Would I ignore that or could I still give her two more perks from the combat table because of it?

The main currency of the magical world is the coins. After the initial transformation it takes more to improve, but they still work. I was thinking something like 50 bronze, 20 silver, or 1 gold to increase a stat one point.
Solo girls can switch to a Patron, yes. They would switch out the benefit they chose for whatever the patron gives, though. If a girl went against her Patron, she'd lose the benefits and drawbacks (unless it doesn't make sense to lose them easily, like being Marked by a Horror) and switch to solo.
If your Ally is going to be more like a second main character for you, you can add the bonus from your origin. If they're going to be more tangential you should leave them as is.
Name: Ari Lahart Age (Magical Girl): 16 Age (Before Magical Girl): 18 Gender: Male Gender (Before Magical Girl): Male
Appearance: Despite being fairly young already, Ari still looks younger than 16; standing at about 4'6", his stature is much closer to that of a 12-year old's. His clothes are quite loose-fitting and show quite a bit, but provide a decent amount of coverage compared to other uniforms.
Aside from shimmering in the light and wind, his monstrous form doesn't have many differences from normal. He tries to stay in his disguise as much as possible, regardless.
His expression rarely changes from a lax smile.
Specialization: Oddball - Fate - Despite being limited to only a few non-damaging spells, Fate is incredibly powerful due to its ability to make the impossible possible, and vice-versa. An enemy's attack might miss for no reason or be miraculously dodged, while otherwise ineffective attacks might suddenly start landing with ease and dealing damage; probabilities mean very little. It takes extraordinary willpower and luck to be able to overturn fate.
Empathic - Empathic users absorb emotions as different types of energy, which can be used in a variety of ways. It is also possible to drain emotions from a target directly, but strong willed individuals can resist this. They can also understand the true feelings of anyone they talk to.
Weapon: Ranged - 50/50 - Similar to this, but it fires much larger bullets.
Patron Benefits: Focused Subtle Payment Magical Overload(Amorphous Body, Second Specialization)
Patron Drawbacks: Big Brother Monstrous Form(Noncorporeal, Crab Bucket)
Fighting Style: Ari rarely fights; he just toys with his enemies. Due to the power of Fate combined with his absurd luck, he will realistically never get hit as he calmly approaches. His monstrous traits make it even harder to land a hit because Ari can just open up holes in his body for attacks to pass through. As fear or frustration takes hold, he absorbs those emotions and can use them to attack, though he normally just uses his 50/50.
Personality: Matching his expression and mannerisms, Ari always takes things calmly and with a thick coat of optimism, making him seem air-headed at times. For the most part, he’s quite easy to get along with due to his friendly and tolerant personality. Although Ari is honest and never lies, he tends to answer in a roundabout manner, especially when the question is about himself. He gets easily infatuated with hard-workers, can get quite clingy with anyone that he favors.
Parts of his personality are somewhat twisted, however. Even before he became a magical monster girl(Wow that’s an interesting phrase), Ari had an intense hatred for anyone with more power than himself--a malicious inferiority complex. With the side-effects of his monstrous transformation, his mood shifts almost impulsively once he recognizes someone as stronger than himself. Although he can manage just fighting alongside that person, Ari will warn them not to get any stronger... at least, not until he gets more power himself.
History: Tired of his abusive father, Ari attempted to murder him one night, but failed. The tables turned against him and pinned against the ground, Ari was saved by an earthquake, which caused a heavy decorative piece to fall and hit his father on the back of his head, killing him instantly. Fors, who was watching at the time, had intervened by altering fate. Empathizing with Ari's wish for power, the lesser force offered to give him strength in exchange for helping it alter the fates of people.
Incantation: "Fate, champion the weak so that the tyrants will fall!"
Additional Info: He tries to do one good deed a day. _______________
Type: Lesser Force
Name: Fors
Patron Benefits: Hidden Death
Patron Drawbacks: Limited Alien Mind Alien Tongue
Personality: Fors has a habit of only doing things that he wants to do; he occasionally corrects a person's fate, but it's usually a mundane path where nothing exciting happens. During the rare times that Fors does get motivated, he sets off several fates and causes a huge wave of progress or innovation in humanity.
Fors tends to stick to interesting people for a while, seeing what happens when he tinkers with their fates.
History: Having existed for hundreds of years, Fors occasionally becomes interested in the affairs of humans. In order to make time for his "studies", he tries to find someone that can take over part of his duties.
Resources: Fors doesn't have any other magical girls simply because no one is attuned to Fate. It gets a large portion of its supplies by through "fated meetings"(it finds them on the ground somewhere), though it does have a normal network.
Additional Info: Fors's hobby is currently cooking.
Ula's going to be following Isana around like a lost little puppy most of the time, so yeah, definitely more of a second character than just a side character. Gave her Sorcery and Awareness.
Sorcery: Eldritch knowledge echoes in Ula's head, a constant reminder that she is marked by horrors beyond human imagination. This grants her a profound understanding of Sorcery, Runecrafting, and a number eldritch rites even whilst transformed into her more human like nature.
Awareness: Being open to certain eldritch things has made Ula more open to sensory input. She has better hearing, sight, and smell than humans could possibly hope to have. It is of great help when ambushes might potentially be a thing, as well as when tracking something such as monsters or some sort of target.
And alright, just checking. Any plans to get a system to working on that? Monsters magically drop them or something?
And here we go. Need some justice up in here. I think I'm doing it right anyway
Name: Alicia Hayden
Age (Magical Girl): 15
Age (Before Magical Girl): 21
Gender: Female
Gender (Before Magical Girl): Female
Appearance:
Specialization: Light - Alicia can fire beams of light to attack with modest attack power, single targeting, and long range. Can use a blazing sword of light in melee. Can use spells that see through deceptions like illusions, good at finding things, and capable of Purification (between Fire and reinforcement). At an advanced level she can force others to reveal secrets to her.
Out of costume she is always aware of when people lie to her.
Weapon: Ranged, Bow Star Seraph - An ornately decorated longbow with ammunition both magical and ordinary. It provides quit a bit of a wallop at full draw, to punch through armor and flesh. It makes up for the comparatively low speed of the weapon when it is being used, though she can augment that with magic to increase the firing speed of her weapon and even throw out multiple arrows at once.
Power: Barrage - Specializes in suppression, casting a lot of small spells in a row, and she can add secondary explosions to her larger spells.
Perks: Enhanced Outfit - An improved uniform that channels magic better, and provides serious protection to the point of shrugging off axes and heavy weapons fire.
Sorcery - Alicia has experience with the mystical art of Hoodoo, which she can even teach to normal people after some lessons. It also lets her use magic when untransformed.
Interdimensional Tourist - Alicia knows a traveler from another dimension who lends a hand when she needs it, giving her a place to crash, offering fake ID's, pretending to be her parents, etc.
Get out of jail - When imprisoned or trapped Alicia can rarely choose to teleport to a random safe location, which is guaranteed to have the supplies or facilities she needs to recover. Easy return and the area remaining safe past arrival are not guaranteed.
Blood Magic - Magic can be fueled with health rather than Mana, though obviously this can be dangerous to your general well being
Patron: Beacon
Patron Benefits: Spark - With a small exertion of will Alicia can resist attempts to alter her mind or body
Perfect Life - The Beacon gives you the Fake Parents perk, and will defend them from monsters.
Supplier - The Beacon provides Alicia with a lot of non-magical resources, though it may take some time for her to get them.
Patron Drawbacks: Vow of Patience - Alicia vows to show forgiveness and be merciful to those who do wrong, Build a sense of peaceful stability and harmony, resolve issues and arguments respectfully, and act with a forbearance that comes from moderation
Excommunication - Don't play by the Beacon's rules, get kicked out and killed on sight. No cooperating with Horrros, dark magical girls, monsters, or the Ebon Mint, no using Black Coins, no killing other Beacon girls.
Fighting Style: Alicia is primarily a ranged fighter par excellence. She will hang back and provide support for melee fighters, taking out mobs and backing up her allies with powerful magic. If fighting solo she will do her best to keep her distance, hammering away at her opponent and wearing them down until she can shift to the offensive and deliver the coup de main with an overwhelming onslaught of magical force. This is augmented by her blood magic, allowing her to keep up the fight for far longer than your average magical girl and ensuring that the strategy is effective by maintaining a consistent power output for longer.
If she is pulled into melee she will use her magic to fight defensive and look for an opportunity to return to long range, or for her opponent to make a mistake so she can finish the fight right then and there.
Stats (Untransformed): These start at 3. CYOA options indicate if they apply out of costume as well. STR: 3 AGI: 3 VIT: 3 MAG: 4 LCK: 3
Stats (Transformed): These start at 4. STR: 8 AGI: 7 VIT: 10 MAG: 11 LCK: 6
Personality: Alicia does her best to live up to the virtue that she has taken on as part of Beacon, and she would consider herself a fairly patient person who does not relish the thought of violence. That does not mean she will not act to defend civilians if they are threatened. This she will do with a firm conviction, though there may be some regret depending n the circumstances involved. She is not heartless after all.
As a normal girl Alicia works hard and has an upbeat attitude, always looking forward to whatever the day might bring, even if it's a challenge to look on the sunny side. She tends to be more charitable than is perhaps good for her, but doesn't mind working hard and helping out others if they need assistance. She also has a soft spot for music, specifically soft rock and classical music, and cares a lot about her family. Fortunately being in Beacon means she doesn't have to worry about them, giving her a bit more peace of mind.
History: Alicia grew up with a fairly normal life, the eldest of three siblings and the one who felt the weight of family expectation upon her. She did her best to live up to the family values, and to represent them well. She did not want to let her parents down after all. Yet she always had this nagging suspicion that there was something missing, that she could be something more. She just didn't know what it was.
It would take her time to find out. She went to college, planning to become a teacher so she could give back to people much like she had been raised to. Yet she was not content simply giving up her life so easily. During break she went traveling, exploring the world a bit to try and find herself, and to resolve herself to what she was going to do in the future. A fact made all the more ironic when she was approached by a Puchuu from 'The Beacon' one day.
Little did Alicia suspect, but she came from a long bloodline of magical warriors, as she was so helpfully informed by the representative from Beacon when they met. She was, of course, informed of the terms and conditions that would be a part of fighting as a magical girl, and after some careful thought she agreed. To fight as a magical girl and to help people, that was all she could ask for really. Now she could make the world a better place, in her own special way.
So she became a magical girl, learning how to fight, to harness her powers and use them in a manner that lived up to the ideals that Beacon upheld. She also chose her virtue, and settled into a new life with her family. She went out to fight, and soon got quite a bit of experience as a magical girl. Along the way she also met a strange traveler who claimed to be from another dimension. After buying them a meal they struck up a good friendship, and now work together when it is needed or convenient. Her friend doesn't go out and fight, but for more covert things it works out well.
For now she fights, and everything is generally alright. Certainly she can't imagine a more fulfilling life.
Incantation: "Chains of Darkness, break! Light, shine forth!"

Type: The Beacon
Name: The Beacon
Patron Benefits: Perfect Life: The Beacon gives you the Fake Parents perk, and will defend them from monsters. Spark: You have a spark of the Beacon's light within you. You can easily shrug off attempts to alter your mind or body.
Patron Drawbacks: Vow: You must vow to honor a virtue. Every time you break the vow, your standing with the Beacon lowers. Excommunication: If you break one of the Beacon's fundamental commandments, you will be excommunicated. You will switch from the Beacon patron to Alone, and other Beacon girls will be told to kill you on sight. The commandments include:
1. You may not consort with dark magical girls, monsters, horrors, or the Ebon Mint. 2. You may not kill another Beacon Girl. 3. You may not use or possess a Black Coin.
Personality: The individual creatures that make up the Beacon have differences in appearance, but not in personality. Each one is kind and understanding to their agents and those they see as not corrupted, but they believe that dark magical girls, monsters, and any who serve horrors are beyond redemption and will actively urge their agents to destroy them.
History: The history of the Beacon is unclear to even their senior girls. They claim their purpose is simply to safeguard magical girls and all of humanity.
Resources: The Beacon makes up about 5% of all magical girls. They are generous with their coins for girls who work for them, and are able to provide fake families for each one.
