@kidjab
I had stated it with the link in the interest to here, and I even put a rule in stating it.

Should probably not state it as a 'Mobile Defensive Quirk' if it can be used in more than defense, granted defense itself like shields can still be used as weapons but that digresses. With that kind of example, she probably be extremely at a disadvantage because of two things really.. it would be extremely situational for her to actually get to such speeds, and second is most quirks can pretty much shatter or incinerate concrete fairly easily so the speed she is most likely to actually even get close to reaching in most situations wont be able to defend against much.

Ah, this is my first RP on the site. I hope this is alright.

Name: Mike Oxbig

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: Mike is a tall, slender young man. He works out on a semi-regular basis, so he's got a decent bod. He's usually smiling, and he's got bright red eyes with a mischievous twinkle in them. He definitely has an air of being "up to something," and shopkeepers instinctually follow him around to make sure he doesn't steal anything. Behold! Note: He doesn't actually own the knife. Yet >:^3
Hero Outfit: Mike basically told the uniform people "I want to look like a stealthy ninja soldier" and then ran off to do whatever. They did a very good job! His outfit has a camoflage pattern, with a pair of pants with lots of pockets and a flak jacket. They both have pockets that armor plates can be inserted into.
Quirk: We Are Number One: Mike has the power to make clones. The clones look like him by default, but they can look like any person who Mike has seen. He can also give them any clothes he likes. If he just makes a copy of himself, they have duplicates of anything Mike happens to have on his person. Mike shares a mind with the clones. They can be thought of as similar to another body part. He feels what they feel, sees what they see, and smells what they smell.
This does mean that there's a limit to how many clones Mike can have at a given time. He barely has to think about controlling a single clone. He can easily control up to two at once. At 4, he starts to get confused and he has a lack of coordination. His absolute limit is 8 at once if he focuses extremely hard. He can't do anything else while he does, and he has to be sitting completely still with his eyes closed. Past that point, he just can't make any more.
The clones themselves are about as powerful as Mike himself is, though they can't create clones themselves. If he makes a likeness of someone else, the clone doesn't get their quirks. Even if he made a clone of someone whose Quirk is based on their form, it would sort of function, but it would be weak to the point of being useless. The clones are also very fragile: Anything that would break a normal person's bones will cause them to disappear in a cloud of dust. As a side note, Mike can disperse his clones at any point, along with any objects they happened to be created with.

Backstory: Mike lived a very standard life. His dad was a no-show, so he raised himself a lot. He's always been mischievous, and he started using his powers to mess with people from a young age. At first he could just make one clone, and it would look like a creepy, distorted version of himself. But after a couple years he could alter their appearance. It took him another few years to be able to make it look like someone else.

He was never a great student, but he was pretty good at using his quirk. Everybody thought he'd just use it to become a con man or something, but he surprised everyone when he entered UA.

Supporting Characters:
Lauren Oxbig(Mother)
Steve Lawrence(Absentee Father)

Other: Has a large stash of stuff for messing with people. Joy buzzers, itching powder. That sorta thing.

Hey @HeroicSociopath if it makes you feel any better it's my first rp on this site too :P your quirk is interesting, just a quick question, how quickly can mike disperse a clone? For example you say a drawback is that he feels all the pain and such the clone feels but if he could just poof them out of existence whenever he's about to get hit that'd suck ;)

@HeroicSociopath In addition to @Kreutzer's question, what would be the range of how far away he can make the clones? Do they just appear or is there a certain way of appearing? also maybe you should make his limit reduced to 6 or 4, considering even 4 strong quirkless clones are outmatching most of the heroes. And maybe an extra drawback for the 'copied' clones (the one that look like other people) since it's basicly Himiko's quirk but much easier to use and with added features.

@NightmareInd
I made a second version of my character, want to know which quirk you think is better between the two, Had just randomly started thinking of it so made two to see which people might like better.

@HeroicSociopath
Ya it kind of sounds like a combination of Himiko's Qurik and Jin aka Twice's Quirk so it is a very dangerous quirk, without the draw backs of Jin's quirk. So think it could be very dangerous so as Nightmare and Kreutzer says need more clarification and possible more limits.

@olcharlieboi if you're taking any opinions, I prefer the copy all as the more versatile quirks that can essentially do anything without much of a set restriction are story-killers. The copy quirk is easy to establish parameters and in the context of the world would make for a really cool famous hero, wheras the wizard type would seem to fit into the world of BNHA a bit less, just my 2 cents tho if it's welcome :)

Thanks for the opinion, I had just randomly thought of it so wanted to see what people thought. which technically in terms of quirks nearly anything is possible in this world since there has been quirks that make no sense in how it could work like 13's black hole quirk so (shrugs). I personally like somewhat versatile abilities, since it allows me to at lest assist in more situations then I could normally, which is why both of them are versatile abilities, one will be using other people's abilities, and the other simply his own imagination with some kind of chant or phrase to get it to work, so in a way it's more of a mental ability that he imagines to be magical, which ya I freshly made it so not much of limitations designed for it yet.

@olcharlieboi So maybe if it's versatile it could be limited to energy based stuff or something? I mean just for an example, the "spells" if you will could just be his way of remembering how to do everything? Maybe in it being so versatile it's hard to do the same thing more than once, so the "spells" are prone to alterations or "mutations" if you will? That could make for some rather unwanted or possibly useful side effects.

An example, if a few times before he'd tried to create lightning, the second time it could come out red for whatever reason, and another time it could randomly start crackling all over the place? Versatility would likely be restricted by that kind of lack of control, which could obviously be honed in time.

Again just an opinion/suggestion, and that'd be my take on it. Depends whatever you think's fun, you're the boss :P

Edit: IMO the range of stuff his spells can do should be limited if you go with that option, just because anything's possible shouldn't mean everything should be :P otherwise it'd seem to just be a beefed up version of Momo's quirk

lol ya, I didn't mean for it to mean he could do it anywhere, it would always originate close or next to him, like I said I just typed it up so still needs refining. I am dang starting to imagine a summoner like type of ability, which frankly is one of my favorite powers lol, I could make it where he does have harder time to remember things which would be a reason for it to nearly always be different or simply changes to them, and just because I'm GM doesn't mean I can do what ever I want with powers, which is why I am asking for opinions and appointed a Co-GM to assist with more ideas, since two heads or more are better than one.

I rather have an underpowered character that has a specific niche and have these seemingly weL and situation powers than be overpowered. So is she good to go or no?

We have all been there so don't worry, you probably picked one of the best people to join for your first roleplay, since I am not extremely strict about a lot of things. I might get annoyed or mention a thing or two, but wont have to worry about me being unreasonable. I try to work with my roleplayers on things and know I make mistakes myself and rely on my roleplayers to provide opinions and help out on things there.

I might re-write the magic chant to be more of a summoning Creature kind of thing just to scratch that itch that is forming now that I started to think of my favorite type of ability/magic/etc.. lol.

@pkken just a bump to wonder if you're still interested in this rp, if so are you still interested in a wind quirk? It's one I'd like to use but not desperately enough to rain on your parade if you're still wanting to do it :) especially since I already have one confirmed character

@olcharlieboi so would your character be able to summon living things, objects and energy/attacks? or all/any/none of the above? What's the limit/range? Idealistically the possibilities are endless but for fairness of rp's sake and to stop possible bypassing of any puzzle it's probably best to put in more drawbacks for the more stuff he can do, or if you like the summoning aspect maybe he could conjur up only creatures, but they could have attributes? Then the struggle would be maintaining substance/control of them... And their strength being relative to your character's.

@olcharlieboi

I just reread my post and i feel it came off a lil untoward. I apologize if I sounded rude in anyway. Thanks for pointing out the limits as I have already been thinking of ways to negate or work around those weaknesses as super speed is not her quirk simply kinetic constructs. So should be nice to work out those limits.

Everyone else seems to be coming up with some solid quirks as well. When do we start rping btw?

@olcharlieboi @kidjab again, sorry if the input is unwanted, but to do with when we start maybe it's a good idea to think of how many characters we want in a class and start when we have one full class? They don't have to be as big as they are in the anime, we could after all choose to be set several or a dozen or so years in the past or future where they either have more smaller classes or just less students. Then maybe new people could join the rp by the introduction of other classes to the story? Or is there already a plan in place for the conditions to start rping? :)
