Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: The Attic a Long Time Ago
Interacting With: Murder Girl v. 2 (@Morose)

A whole lot of emotions go through a person when diving into a magic portal in a wardrobe, too many emotions to decipher actually. As Eudora slithered through the ever growing tube, she felt a rush of feelings so strong it almost made her light headed. 50 different voices yelled in fear or excitement in her head as she neared the end to the tunnel, was she ready to see what lay ahead? She was too hyped up on adrenaline to answer.

With a final burst of energy, she emerged through the doors only to see... nothing. Nothing new that is. Same old attic with the same old dry air with the same old dust caked floor. Only this time there wasn't a pool of blood and a broken roof over her head, or any of the people she just met. Everything was empty and eerily quiet.

She slowly stepped out of the wardrobe, her breath shallow and her shoulders sagging as a hybrid of both fear and wonder seeped in her while the enthusiasm and energy she once had slowly leaked out. She glided towards a window, squinting out into the world. The scene she saw overwhelmed her, a rush of jumbled up emotions smashed into her while she survyed the outside world. It soon became apparent to her that this was not the world she crawled out from. Everything seemed so old. Maybe because it was. Eudora, through a confused mash of emotions, soon figured out she was in the past. But how? She tried to ponder on it, but hearing someone crawl out from behind a wardrobe de-railed any train of thought she had.

Spinning round and feeling her heart beat in her throat, Eudora saw the little girl standing from behind the wardrobe, with a gun in her hand. Eudora seemed to always attract murderous adolesents. "Valeska?" she sputtered out while still staring at her wide eyed. Kill her, kill her quick! her mind rang out while the sharp blade hidden inside her clothes chilled. Eudora forcefully shook the rash thought out of her mind, she wasn't about to kill someone.

"Sweety, what are you doing here?" she asked in a much calmer voice, "Are you ok? Why and how do you have a gun?"

So many more questions dwelled within her, she only hoped to live to hear the answer.

Liam Matthews

Location: Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora, ??? @Morose

Looking up as Keenan came on down, Liam just crossed his arms over his chest as he waited for Aloise to come down, letting the others poke at the tunnel in the wardrobe. Liam had made it clear that he had no desire to even really go near the thing, and he intended to stick to his guns, there was no good which could come from it, and it'd take a hell of a motivation to convince him to go through it. He was pleased as well that Aloise seemed to be of the same mind as him, hearing her advise against going near, or even touching the tunnel until they understood more, he nodded. That's when he got the kick in the nuts.

That's what the visions felt like anyway, at this point, when he was much more used to them, they tended to just make him feel nauseous, or strange, and generally were a great nuisance of some kind. He remained relatively calm as the visions flashed before his eyes, trying to take note of everything in it, the figure, the chains, the filing cabinets, everything. Though his attention was somewhat stolen as he heard the voice. /That/ was new. He glanced around, choosing at least for now to say nothing, he certainly didn't think the voice was directed at him, more a by-product of the vision, there was the one word that drew his attention - Kumakatok. He made a mental note to speak to Aloise about it, preferably when what they were dealing with right then was behind them.

December 28th, 2016 -

In the lobby of the hotel, Andromeda nodded. The prospect that she hadn't called the police, despite Emmie hearing her make the call, was a bit insulting. Still, she couldn't deny that it was bizarre. There was no reason why the cops shouldn't have already arrived at the hotel, and figuring that she might as well call again, Andromda picked up the phone and redialed the dispatcher.

"Yes, Coventry Horrors hotel again, still have a stiff and no one seems to be coming," Andromeda explained, looking towards the road, as if the flashing red and blue lights would appear at any moment. But instead of hearing the usual 'oh goodness, they're almost there' or 'an orphanage burned down, sorry love, it'll be a bit,' there was the sound of heavy breathing. Andromeda frowned. "Hello? I'm trying to report a fucking murder here."

"Christopher Marlowe wrote about me," a slimy voice, one that Liam would recognize, finally said. "You know who I am, Miss Aldrich. Do not rely on the police. Your debt has come due."

Meanwhile, up on the seventh floor of the hotel, Aloise glanced over at Liam questioningly. She recognized that look, the one he got whenever a vision came over him. They had become less frequent since that summer, with them almost rare at this point. For one to occur here, in Coventry, was not the best of signs. "What is it, Liam?" Aloise asked, before nodding at Seraphina's question. "I'm not sure, to be honest...I'd heard of rumors about portals like these before, thought they were just myths."

Agent Keenan snorted ever so slightly, smiling a bit to himself. "Where'd you think C.S. Lewis got the idea? Or Ransom Riggs? Or Neil Gaiman?" he asked, before tapping his hands slightly against the wardrobe. "We don't know why these things happen--but I know someone who might. Or bettah, a family of people who may."

December 28th, 1929 -

"Chivva?!" Folly repeats, her voice far harsher this time and less soft. There is an intensity to it that Eudora will understand--the need for confirmation, for knowledge. The word itself is angloromani, meaning witch. With the gun now raised, Valeska's eyes are narrowed ever so slightly. Seems she isn't in a mood to answer questions herself, before getting answers from Eudora. "What are you? Who are you?" Folly demands, a certain fire in her eyes.

From the window, the soft sound of a man advertising the night's circus performance can be heard. His voice is booming and flamboyant, as he does his very best to stir up a crowd. Folly's eyes flicker towards the window for a brief moment, before returning to Eudora. Circuses have long sheltered those with deviances, with plenty of witches using their talents to make a pretty penny as part of the sideshow, as Eudora will know rather well.

"Answer me, or I'll put a hole in your head," Folly warned.

Seraphina Adams

Location: Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor
Interacting With: @Morose Aloise Zamora, Carbry Keenan & @Pundii Liam Mathews

Seraphina looked over at Liam recognizing that look as well from the brief time she had known the guy back in Altsoba, she then turned her attention back towards Aloise as well as Agent Keenan. "Sooo should we like I dunno write a note and throw it down there and hope Eudora will get it on the other side, or find a selfie stick and just stick a camera on it and shove the thing inside?" Seraphina asked, unsure what to do, she sure as hell didn't want to go down there, she didn't want to leave Emmie alone.

Sera leaned herself up against the nearby wall her eyes looking down at the portal shuddering at the sight of it, as she thought about just closing the doors to the wardrobe so she wouldn't stare at it. "So why am I getting an evil vibe from the portal there anyway?" Sera started to also wonder what was going on at the other end of the portal, and if Eudora was alright or not.

Emmie Adams

Location: Coventry Horrors, First Floor

Emmie watched as Andromeda getting up and making her way towards the phone by the desk, she leaned back taking a deep breath as she tried again to relax. She listened to Andromeda speaking to the 911 operator on the other end of the line, Emmie looked at Andromeda's face seeing it changing slightly wondering what was going on. "Is everything okay Andromeda?" Seraphina asked Andromeda, she got a slight feeling that there was someone else on the other line.

Emmie slipped her hand into her pocket putting the hair that she found back upstairs to keep it safe, she wasn't sure whos it was she thought about going up there at a later point to check out what was actually going on up stairs by herself and to check up on Sera as well

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: Her Possible Final Resting Place
Interacting With: Folly (@Morose)

Eudora took a few timid steps backwards, trying desperately to keep her expression calm and neutral, but cracks appeared in her mask. Flashes of worry spread across her face before quickly vanishing in mere moments, she hoped Folly hadn't noticed. "Yes, yes. I am a chivva, a witch," she sputtered out breathlessly after digging into the corners of her mind looking for the word's meaning. "But I promise to not hurt you," she tried wearing a smile, hoping it'll calm the girl down a bit as Eudora explained herself. "My name is Eudora, I'm a witch and I'm not from your time, I come from a place far far away, deary. In both space and time, but you must listen to me. In the future, bad people are after you, very bad people who think you did something wrong and I'm here to try to help. Please put the gun down, don't do anything you'll regret. You can trust me."

As Eudora continued with her story, she was just starting to realise how insane it sounded. Time travelling witches with omens? How insane was that? The girl would never believe her, and then what would happen? She'd shoot her? Eudora's eyes widened as the thought seeped into her mind.

The realisation that death may come soon shook her, but she kept her manner calm and collected, sincere even. After all, she really did want to help the girl, but if she ended up doing something... rash, then Eudora might have to do something she'll regret. The athame that hid in her sleeve sang to her, tempting her, how easy it would be to throw the blade at her. Of course, she'd be aiming for the gun, not her chest or head. She hoped.

Please, she pleaded in her mind, Belive me.

Liam Matthews

Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

The voice rang through his head again and again as Liam stood there, trying to narrow it down in his mind who it was or could have been. Hearing Aloise speak up, he turned his gaze to her, finally freed from his trance as he heard her, knowing she was aware of his vision. Normally he'd have told her straight away, but glancing around, he held off, he still didn't trust those present, and he wasn't about to reveal his own deviance in front of an OMEN agent.

"It's nothing, just distracted." He tried to make it as clear as he could from his tone that he'd inform her later, reaching into his jacket to finally tuck away his handgun. He racked his brain about the vision though, whos voice had he heard? and who was it that was chained and in desperate need of help? All of it clouded his mind and his thoughts, plaguing him as he stood there, still immensely distracted to the portal, caring far less about it now than he did his vision.

A new soul? Why, I am so honored! Welcome to the bloodbath, my dear. Enter and beware, you are likely to leave this mortal form in a decidedly unpleasant manner....But do not fear, child! There are more like you and we kill them every day. They think I am sadistic for it--am I? I suppose that is a question between my psychiatrist and I, funny thing, that, no? But to be kind, I suppose I shall give you a small aid, a gentle push...But whether that push is towards death or life, no one can really tell.

Get on with it? You ruin my fun. Here you are, my dears, your next clue: the one who kills in the land of betrayal has killed before in the land of war. He has used children, my sweets, children to do his bidding! What a ghastly man, if he is a man, no? Perhaps creature would be a better word, or dear me, what's the word for what he is again?

I'm sure you know, don't you, my dears? Why, you even know his names, if you can recall that time of blood and misery...We may be in Coventry, but we have never left Altsoba, now have we? How peculiar that is.

December 28th, 2016 - Coventry Horrors, Lobby

In the lobby of the Coventry Horrors hotel, Andromeda nods vaguely at Emmie, the phone still pressed to her ear. The voice on the other end continues to talk, giving her instructions to attend the circus performance that evening, and to come alone. In the background, the sound of screaming can be heard, an inhuman scream, the scream emitted by someone whose mind has vanished and left behind an empty shell.

"And if I don't go, asshole? What then?" Andromeda snapped, her voice as angered as it was soft. "You're just some sick punk, you know that? I'll kill you myself. Don't need the police for this." Somehow, she had a feeling that the voice belonged to the man who had killed her father. She had a funny feeling about it.

"I would like to see you try, Miss Aldrich," the voice replied, before the line went dead. Andromeda rolled her eyes, about to turn to Emmie when she stumbled a bit, falling to her knees on the ground. Choking on her own tongue from all appearances, blood began to trickle out of her nose, as she gasped for breath.

"Hex...bag..." Andromeda wheezes, hardly able to get a word out, as she feebly tries to make her way to the counter, her hands searching for something. The blood continues to trickle out of her nose, a small stream picking up out of her ears. The choking and gasping only seems to be getting worse as well.

December 28th, 2016 - Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor

Meanwhile, up on the seventh floor of the hotel, our group of misfits is still standing around the wardrobe, with a corpse just a few feet away by the dumbwaiter. The scene is a charming one, to say the least. Aloise frowns ever so slightly at Liam, but she nods a bit in understanding, with the subtle implication that he better spill the beans later. Most of the people in the room were Altsoba survivors, after all -- with the exception of Agent Keenan.

"Beats me," Agent Keenan shrugged. "Nuns usually say the same thing." He then turns to his phone, scrolling through his contacts until he hits the C last names, and he begins dialing up a storm. Hardly anyone seems to be answering, but that isn't stopping him. He calls one and then moves onto the next, just as procedure dictates.

But more worrisome is the wardrobe--it has started to shake. The tunnel to parts unknown seems to be creeping closer, if that's even possible. It could be an optical illusion, of course, but is it really? Either way, someone might want to shut that door...if you're brave enough to even touch the thing, that is.

December 28th, 2016 - Cirque Anomaly

At the circus, things have been eventful, to say the least. They had their first performance scheduled for that evening since the brief Christmas break, and already, tensions are running high. Boris Valeska, playing the dutiful role of grieving widow and horrified father, was screaming up a storm in the big tent. Everyone had cleared the area, with the man chucking knives in every direction, swigging more alcohol, and smearing more stage makeup onto his face. He was spiraling, to say the least, and hardly anyone knew what to do.

The oldest members of the troupe were off in a meeting, a judicial hearing of sorts. The results would determine what the circus would do--if they'd help the police find Folly or if they'd hide the little one. Odds were, it would be the later. However, there was some whisperings that they might take this moment to be rid of the Valeska family in general. Fiodora was the favorite of the three, after all, and she was dead--likely because of either Folly or Boris.

With Lilith being new to the troupe, she wasn't in the meeting of the oldest first strings. However, the strong man stops by her tent, peeking his head in before coming in fully. No one is quite sure what his name is--every performance, he gets bored and changes it to something else. With thirty years in the business, most started calling him Strong, just as a way to keep things straight.

"Lil, they've come to a decision," Strong explains. It's no great secret that the man has a crush on the fortune teller, but he's been a perfect gentlemen--thus far. "They've sentenced Valeska to death. Burning at the stake."

December 28th, 1929 - Coventry Horrors, Attic

Folly stares at Eudora, before bursting out laughing. It isn't clear if she's just incredibly amused by what Eudora said or if the girl is insane. Maybe it's both, even. The girl lowers the gun ever so slightly, shaking her head. "Of course I know that. I'm not from 1929 either," she explained, rolling her eyes a bit. "Why do you think I'm hiding here? For fun?"

Lowering the gun, Folly didn't let go of it, but made a sign that she wasn't going to hurt Eudora. She smiled slightly, glancing over towards the window. Her eyes got a bit of a vacant quality to them, as if she was seeing things that weren't there, hearing things that weren't being said. "There's a demon in Coventry--a very old one," Folly said finally. She then turned to look to Eudora. "It killed my mother."

Lilith St. Sebastian

Interacting With: Strong

She heard the cries of the madman. The chill that crept into the circus following recent events lingered. Folly was not there. Though she was unsure what the rest of the troupe planned to do, she knew she would do whatever it took to protect the young girl. She took out her tarot cards and placed them before her on the table. She moved her hand over them, feeling a spark over some of them. And there she waited. It would be time soon.

Sure enough, she saw the bald head protrude from behind her tent entrance way. The lovable lug that had to bring bad news. She almost pitied him. However, the news was not so surprising. Though she spent little time with the troupe, she heard rumors. She heard secrets. Boris was spiraling out of control, that much was evident. Burning at the stake seemed...a tad contrived. The horrors of this world weren't just left to the demons and specters that roamed free. Man was also capable of dealing dangers.

"Let us see what the cards say, Strong. They've never failed me yet." She didn't know if the others believed in her gift or if she was there just as a pretty face who could speak a kind word or throw a knife, but when the cards spoke, she listened. She ran her hand over them again and felt the prickle, the spark. She turned one over. "The nine of swords. A bad omen, to be sure. Desolation. Despair. Another." She picked up another sparked one. "The nine of wands. The repeat of the number surprises me. This shows antagonism. A fierce enemy. One last one." She picked up another one. The one that had the harshest spark to it. She turned it over and saw the face of evil. "Death. I need not tell you what that one means. It seems we are in for an interesting evening, to say the least. I imagine you did not just come to give me the news."

Seraphina looked at Agent Keenan as he spoke and then started to take out his phone and started to sift through the contacts on the phone, wondering who exactly the man was going to be calling in next. She didn't trust the man as far as she could throw him, but Sera did believe that Folly was innocent. There was something else going on here, she just hadn't found out exactly what it was just yet as Sera stood there looking over at Aloise, and then at Liam. Then Seraphina started to catch movement in the corner of her eye, and started to hear a rattling and shaking from the wardrobe.

"Guys that thing is starting to move." Seraphina said as she saw the wardrobe slowly starting to move looking at the portal that was still open, Sera didn't like the thing at all as she looked around for a moment. Maybe if the thing was closed it would hopefully stop moving, and Sera wasn't sure if the thing had a mind of its own and she wasn't going to let anyone else get caught or fall into the portal like Eudora did. But then again the woman did that at her own volition. She quickly moved towards the wardrobe and reached for either end of the wardrobes doors and tried to close the thing shut Sera then started to worry that something might come up, or she might end up falling into the strange portal itself.

Emmie leaned back in her seat as she looked up at Andromeda, the conversation seemed to be getting pretty heated between her and whoever the caller was on the other end. And Emmie had a feeling that whoever was on the other end of the line wasn't the 911 operator, Emmie stood up and started to approach the woman as. Emmie started to get closer when Andromeda set the phone back down, just as Andromeda stumbled and fell down onto her knees. She looked at Andromeda with a terrified look on her face as she started to see her nose bleeding, and then small streams started coming out of the woman's ears as well.

Emmie heard her say something about a hex bag, she wasn't even sure what that was, or what it even looked like seeing the woman trying to search the front desk for it. "What does it look like?" Emmie asked looking over at Andromeda she started to hear the woman starting to gasp for air, Emmie wasn't sure what would suddenly cause this to her as Emmie went around looking over the counter for whatever Andromeda needed. Emmie started to wonder if it was some kind of medication or some kind of medical condition as well she would look over at Andromeda and moved back to help the woman up to her feet.

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: Not Her Grave Site Thankfully
Interacting With: Not So Murderous Girl @Morose

An immediate wave of relief washed over Eudora as Folly lowered the gun, even as she started cackling, Eudora just wiped off the beads of sweat that formed on her brow with her billowy sleeve. The temptation to whip out her blade slowly ceased into nothingness as Folly's laugh quieted down, for once, she felt safe in this insane world. Eudora even returned Folly's smile, even though it was slightly fidgety and thin, genuine relief and kindness lay behind it.

"There's a demon in Coventry--a very old one. It killed my mother"

Eudora was unsure how to respond, so she remained quiet. Only nodding solemnly and muttering a quiet "Ah." She let the silence stretch on for a bit longer, fully digesting the information just revealed to her before opening her mouth to speak again. "Aye, I know the pain of having to lose a loved one," she thought back to her cat, who was now only a ghostly apparition after spending all 9 of his lives. "And I suppose you want revenge right?" The answer was obvious, of course she did, who wouldn't? But why was Eudora here with her? Was this merely a coincidence? Or was she brought here? Only time will tell.

"You know, I don't usually offer help to possible killers." a total lie by the fact she readily followed Mercurial long ago, "But I'm willing to make an exception and help you, you seem to need it with all that's going on in the future. But you're going to have to trust me and give me some information. Who is this demon anyway? Why would he want to kill her in the first place?"

A million more questions brewed in her mind but having these two answered would suffice for now.

God, she thought, This is going to be like Altsoba all over again.

Liam Matthews

Location: Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

Tilting his head somewhat to nod to Aloise, he sighed as he understood clearly the implication of her look. Liam knew his visions were useful, they'd helped him and Aloise out of more than one situation, but he still was not particularly in debt or glad to have them, were it up to him, the whole 'prophet of god' thing would've been something he left behind and never once thought about after the Altsoba massacre. However, he knew better than to ignore them, they were usually far too important, even perilous to be ignored, as much as he wanted to push them all to the back of his mind and forget about it.

Glancing to the wardrobe again, he finally noticed as the portal seemed to be getting closer. He blinked for a moment or two, raising an eyebrow, he couldn't quite tell if he was just seeing things, but he certainly didn't think it was too unreal that the portal was reaching out essentially, he'd seen stranger things. He had an urge to move and close the door, just to be safe, but Sera had already moved to do so. He took one or two steps closer regardless, watching her closely, ready to try and pull her back if something dragged her in or jumped out at her.

December 28th, 2016 - Coventry Horrors, Lobby

It's not use. No matter what Emmie tries, Andromeda continues to gasp, blood flowing from her eyes, ears, and mouth. Andromeda collapses on the floor, convulsing as if having a seizure, only able to mutter, "brown bag...hex bag..." over and over again. Her movements then slow, until it appears all of her breathing has ceased, and that death has claimed her. But just as her eyes start to close, Andromeda gasped, sitting straight up.

"I'm...I'm okay," Andromeda assured Emmie, hastily wiping the blood off of herself. "That must have been a warning..." she surmised, slowly rising to her feet. The pain and torture was all gone, but she still felt shaky, taking a moment to catch her breath. Smiling weakly at Emmie, she realized the girl likely didn't have a clue what was going on.

"That was a hex bag...Witches use them, they activate a spell and it kills their target. The only way to stop them is for the spell to cease or...to burn the bag." Andromeda then crouched down, reaching underneath the desk, as she felt her hand around. Eventually, she stood up straight, holding a brown bag in her hand. "Probably best to burn this." She then stepped towards the candles kept on the desk, all to add to the spooky vibe of the hotel, of course. Picking up one candle, Andromeda carefully set the bag on fire, watching as a blue flame quickly appeared.

December 28th, 2016 - Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor

Agent Keenan shakes his head a bit, putting his phone away. Seems no one was answering, or it wasn't any use at that point. "Figures--moment I need one of those nut jobs, they ain't answerin'." As to who he's speaking about, it isn't instantly clear. But more importantly, as Seraphina moves to close the wardrobe, the portal increased rapidly. Her grip on the wardrobe doors allowed her to hold on, but...

"LIAM!!!!" Aloise cried out, seeing as the Prophet of the Lord, her dearest friend, was sucked into the void. She threw her hand out, attempting to grab him, but it was to not avail. He was gone, and the wardrobe slammed shut definitively. Staring in shock, Aloise rushed to open it up again, but Agent Keenan threw himself in front of her.

"It's not safe!" Keenan protested.

"Move over!" Aloise threatened with a glare. This wasn't something she was going to budge on.

December 28th, 2016 - Cirque Anomaly

Strong looks a bit weary and apprehensive, and he shakes his head, gripping his hat in his hands. It's obvious that he's unsettled by what has truly sent him to see Lilith, beyond the death sentence placed on Folly's head. He opens his mouth, but words fail him the moment he looks into Lilith's eyes. He shakes his head again, before letting out a sigh. "I can't ask this of ya, Lilith. What the elders want you to do...it'll put a stain on your soul."

A confused expression then comes over his face. He sniffs a bit, and a moment later, the reasoning is evident. Smoke hangs in the air. Not from Lilith's tent, but from another's. "Do you smell that?" he asks, but there was no need to. Peeking his head outside of Lilith's tent, Strong is taken aback for a moment, stunned by how palpable the heat is. "Valeska was in there....Damnit, Boris."

The central tent of the circus is engulfed in flames.

December 28th, 1929 - Coventry Horrors, Attic

Folly gave Eudora a quizzical look again, wondering how thick the witch was. She was born in the twenty-first century. To her, the future was the present. But she supposed it could be the witch going senile--that tended to happen in old age, and witches could live for a terribly long time. Though as to whether or not she wanted revenge...at the moment, Folly felt more concerned with staying alive.

"Right now, I'm mostly concerned about avoiding the electric chair," Folly explained. "And I'm not a murderer either--if you want one of those, just talk to my father." She huffed a bit. Teenage angst, maybe? But as she turned her head, her scarf shifted, revealing a neatly disguised and lengthy scar on her neck, as if someone had attempted to slice it open. Tapping her foot a bit, she seemed to be in the midst of making a decision.

"The demon's name is...He calls himself M," Folly said, though it was clear she was holding back something. "That's all I know, got it?!"

Of course, the conversation will be cut short, as a Prophet of the Lord (Liam) falls out of the wardrobe, and onto the floor.

She smiled a bit as Strong fumbled with his words. A stain on her soul? If only the poor boy knew. She could hazard a guess as to what the elders wanted her to do, and truth be told she was just waiting for the confirmation, but their conversation was cut short by the smell of smoke. She stood up instantly and peaked out of her tent alongside Strong. Sure enough, the main tent was covered in flames.

The time for action was imminent. If Boris wanted to die that was his wish, but she would be damned if he took the easy way out. "Strong, see if the others are safe. We need to get this fire put out. Call the police if you have to. Hell, we probably have them on speed dial at this point. I'm going to see what I can do around the tent." She didn't bother waiting for Strong's reply. She knew the man would do whatever he felt was best. She made her way towards the tent, the heat strong and powerful. She hadn't been here long and cared not for the tour, but surely there was a hose or a fire hydrant somewhere? She scoured around, careful not to get too close to the tent.

It seems her fortunes were quickly coming true. She only hoped that the final one would not be her.

Seraphina Adams

Location: Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor
Interacting With: @Morose Aloise Zamora & Carbry Keenan

Seraphina stared down at the portal as it continued to shake, she looked over her shoulder at Liam as he went over to the wardrobe as well to help her close it. She wasn't paying much attention to the Prophet at the moment, her attention went to the O.M.E.N. agent while he continued to search through his contacts for whoever he was trying to get in contact with. Still Sera really did not trust the guy, just as the portal moved closer, her attention went straight back to the wardrobe. She looked at shock and surprise just as Liam was suddenly pulled directly into the portal, just like Eudora just blindly jumped down into it without thinking.

Sera took a step back completely speechless as the doors to the wardrobe suddenly closed shut, then her attention went straight to Aloise as her friend tried to go after Liam as well. Seraphina quickly went to the two of them and held back Aloise as well to prevent her from wanting to jump into the wardrobe as well. "Aloise, as much as I know that Liam is important, we cant just go down there blindly without knowing whats on the other end. We don't know where it goes, or whats on the other end." Seraphina said as she looked at Keenan for a moment before turning her attention back to Aloise.

"We need to know more before we go further, I think Liam is capable enough as well. And we need to think clearly before jumping in blindly." Seraphina said then looked back at Agent Keenan. "Who are you trying to get in contact with anyway more agents here or something?" Seraphina asked while occasionally stealing a glance at the wardrobe wondering what would be at the other end and if the two of them are truly okay.

Emmie Adams

Location: Coventry Horrors, First Floor
Interacting With: @Morose Andromeda Aldrich

Emmie turned her attention towards Andromeda seeing her situation starting to deteriorate even further as she quickly rushed over as Andromeda collapsed onto the floor. Her eyes wondering down seeing the blood coming out from the woman's eyes, nose and ears she felt truly helpless as she would try and look around the counter for the hex bag that Andromeda was mentioning. Emmie still couldn't find where it was, just as Andromeda started to have a seizure then Andromeda looked lifeless. Emmie backed up slightly seeing yet another dead body in one day, then Andromeda took a gasp of air her attention went back to the woman as she slowly sat up looking at her with a dumbfounded look on her face.

Emmie sat there still speechless as Andromeda stumbled and searched under the desk while she explained what it was, and then she saw the strange looking bag in the woman's hands. She slowly stood up as Andromeda went to one of the nearby candles and then lit the thing on fire seeing the blue flame engulfing the bag quickly. "Who or what was on the other end of the phone exactly then, and who left that bag there anyway?" Emmie asked whipping a tear from her eyes as she tried calming herself down once more.

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: The Past
Interacting With: Liam (@Pundii)

"Hmm, M," Eudora murmured while pondering over the name, or rather, the letter. She called back to her memories of pouring over demonology books and ouija boards, hoping to find something that could clue her in into who this mysterious M is. "M, quite an unusual name. Wonder what it stands for," she said again, out loud and to no one in particular, letting the M roll as if she was tasting it, still deep in thought. "Bah! No matter, what's does matter is that I believe you and that you can trust me to help you, so there's no need to put on that angsty facade!" Eudora spoke with such a light-hearted tone that it seemed like she already forgot the talk of murders and demons, but that faint smile soon died out once she noticed the glaring scar on the girl's neck. How didn't she notice that before? The long and red slit reminded Eudora of a cat's eye and how it glared when angered. She was about to ask what happened but the sudden strange man popping out of the wardrobe was enough to divert her attention away from the topic.

"Oh my!" she yelled in shock, both a hint of worry and annoyance in her tone, but nothing malicious. Eudora hurriedly dropped down to the man's side, looking up at Folly with a puzzled look on her face, as if asking, "Do you know this man?" But once Eudora managed to get a better look of the man, memories started to rush back to her. Memories of Altsoba and chosen people and demons roared in her mind and Eudora wanted to grown, when will she finally be free of that town? "Are you alright?" she asked Liam while she hoisted him up with remarkable strength, especially for someone her age. "What on Earth are you doing here? I thought you were waiting outside!"

Liam Matthews

Location: Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor -> The Past
Interacting With: Eudora Erebus @Witch Cat

While Liam had expected to have to grab Seraphina back from the portal if it attempted somehow to drag her through, he pretty quickly found that he could have used someone doing the same for him. The second he felt himself being pulled closer, he dried to push himself back, finding his feet digging into the floor for a moment before he was pulled clean off them, letting out a yell as he was thrown essentially head-first into the wardrobe. "Oh-" He was cut off as his head disappeared through the portal, the strange sensation running through him as he travelled back in time, certainly having never experienced anything quite like this as he felt his stomach twist and churn.

"-Crap!" His yell suddenly continued in 1929, as Liam dove out of the wardrobe and hit the floor, rolling on his side for a moment as he landed face-down, groaning as he rubbed his face. "Oh, I did not see that coming." He coughed a little, glancing up as he saw Eudora. He wasn't hugely surprised, but was glad she hadn't run off from the portal and was still right by it. He was a little surprised at the strength she lifted him up with, but said nothing about it as she asked her question, sighing. "Waiting had been my plan, yes." He grumbled, glancing over to Valeska then as he raised an eyebrow, briefly reaching into his jacket to check if his gun was still there.

Hello, my darlings, hello! It is such a shame that none of you have yet to perish, but do not fret, I am sure that it will be soon to come. The odds can only remain in your favor for only so long, after all! Yet I am sure you are wondering: why have the police not yet arrived? It is most troubling, is it not? I continue to roll and roll and roll, but the boys in blue never appear...I wonder, my dears, if you have already been left alone, left to die.

Coventry isn't that different from Altsoba after all...

December 28th, 2016 - Coventry Horrors, Lobby

Andromeda frowns a bit, noticing that Emmie is obviously upset. She can't exactly blame the kid--how old was she, fifteen? fourteen? Andromeda couldn't tell, but it didn't really matter. Emmie had nearly witnessed two murders that day. It was enough to do a number on anyone's psyche, especially a kid's. "The same person, I imagine," Andromeda answered finally, thinking through the events of that day.

"They mentioned a name--Marlowe--on the phone. That's a good a place as any to start," Andromeda continued, glancing out the hotel windows. The police still hadn't arrived. "Looks like we're on our own, kid." Stepping behind the front desk for a moment, she locked up the register, put a neat little BE BACK LATER sign up, and then walked over to the doors of the hotel.

"Hardly anyone's staying here--which is good for us," Andromeda explained, as she locked the hotel doors. Guests at the hotel all had keys that worked in the side entrance, but for the most part, only the group upstairs, crowding around the wardrobe, and then those in the lobby were present. It was the Christmas season, after all. Halloween themed activities weren't too popular. And with the serial killer (Folly), hardly anyone wanted to travel to Coventry.

"Let's go catch an asshat, then," Andromeda nodded at Emmie, before beckoning to the girl to follow her up the stairs, heading towards the fifth floor.

December 28th, 2016 - Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor

Keenan glances over at Sera, still helping to hold back an obviously distraught Aloise. The ex-marine is staring at wardrobe in shock, hardly comprehending the events that happened. Protecting Liam had always been her mission, her top priority--and here she was, having failed at that task to the extreme. She knew very well that there was little known about those wardrobes.

"Do you hear anything?" Aloise finally asked Sera, referring to the angels the girl could hear. Maybe, just maybe, there'd be some sort of helpful discussion about the wardrobe and what to do....And although Aloise was oblivious to this, Sera would hear nothing.

"Just agents, don't worry 'bout it," Keenan reassured Sera, though it was obvious he was lying. There was something about his contacts that he didn't want to share--but what?

December 28th, 2016 - Cirque Anomaly

Before Lilith can find a source of water, she'll be pulled aside suddenly. She can make out the second string acrobats frantically working to put out the flames, and in the distance, Boris' cackles are continuing. Seems he made it out of the tent after all, and didn't simply do it as a suicide attempt.

"This is why we need you to do this for us," a strong male voice hisses. It's the circus ringmaster--a former fire-eater who ended up buying out Cirque Anomaly ten years ago. He's stressed to the extreme, as is evident as he runs a hand through his hair and lets out a heavy sigh. "Use whatever means necessary to track Folly down and bring her home. She burns at midnight."

December 28th, 1929 - Coventry Horrors, Attic

Folly looks a bit terrified and concerned as another person falls out of the wardrobe, landing onto the floor. Having never met Liam before, she didn't recognize the man. The girl gripped her shotgun a little tighter, prepared to make a move if needed. She allowed Eudora to do most of the talking, watching the exchange between the two of them silently.

Fortunately, Liam isn't majorly hurt, and no one seems to have discovered the trio up in the attic. The sounds coming in from the window are the same as before, and no one else looks like they're stumbling out of the wardrobe. As Liam glances up from checking on his gun, however, Folly will have vanished. A glance over towards where she had been standing will reveal an open window, and if Eudora and Liam hurry over to take a peek, they can perhaps spot Folly moving quickly through the streets.

Seraphina Adams

Location: Coventry Horrors, Seventh Floor
Interacting With: @Morose Aloise Zamora & Carbry Keenan

Seraphina felt bad that she couldn't do much to help Aloise when she asked if she could hear anything, closing her eyes for a moment to concentrate a little bit, then she shook her head slowly. "Sorry i'm not getting anything, angels have to be close by to hear them." She answered letting out a slight sigh. She also had an urge to protect the prophet, but he had gone into the wardrobe that could have taken them anywhere it could take them to the age of dinosaurs for all she knew. "Sorry Aloise, maybe we should call someone else that survived Altsoba that could help us out?" Sera suggested.

She didn't stay in contact really with the others aside from Aloise and occasionally Liam since leaving Altsoba, but due to work on some cases it was a bit busy for her to stay in contact with others as well as doing her own personal research. Sera then turned her attention towards Agent Keenan once more giving him a slight glare, when he didn't divulge who he was trying to get in contact with. This made her distrust the man even further, she rolled her eyes slightly. "Until we know more, we should keep this thing locked. Maybe Andromeda knows a little bit more about the wardrobe as well?"

Andromeda seemed to trust her enough to give her keys to the whole place, maybe she also had more history on the building itself and that could help with possibly finding out where exactly Liam and Eudora were dropped to.

Emmie Adams

Location: Coventry Horrors, First Floor
Interacting With: @Morose Andromeda Aldrich

Emmie was seventeen years old, but then again people didn't no one really did ask for her age she watched as Andromeda got up and started to put a "BE BACK LATER" sign on the front desk, and locking up the register as well as the front doors to the hotel. Emmie wasn't expecting to see any kind of murder right in front of her while being here. To her it was just simply another PI job that she was tagging along with Sera on. Emmie slightly ran a hand through her hair letting out a slight sigh, she was at least glad that she didn't have to witness Andromeda actually dying in front of her.

Emmie took note that the name Andromeda mentioned a Marlowe, maybe that was the person that had tried to kill or give Andromeda a warning over the phone. She looked at the front doors wondering why the cops weren't even coming, this was more troubling to her since they came fairly quickly after being called. Emmie slowly got up and started to follow behind Andromeda up towards the fifth floor, if the cops weren't going to be coming then they would have to do something on their own. "Should I get Sera, since you know she has more experience and stuff like that?" Emmie asked Andromeda, Emmie was good at mainly getting through smaller spaces and get places that were harder to get to while helping Sera out but she wasn't as good with finding out information like Sera did.

Lilith St. Sebastian

Location: Cirque Anomaly
Interacting With: Ringmaster

Lilith didn't much like being pulled or touched unless she asked for it. So needless to say, her expression was less than favorable to the ringmaster. Regardless, the fire continued to burn. Boris, having made it out, cackled madly as it raged. The others were trying to put it out and they stood there talking. He called on her to find Folly and bring her home so that she could burn. It astounded her that they could talk so openly about a young girl being burned like she was the modern Joan of Arc, but she shouldn't be surprised anymore. The world worked differently now.

"If you expect this madness to stop once Folly is back and burned, you need to rethink your plan. He's a case with or without his daughter." She thought back to her fortune. She had to find Folly, that much was true. But she wasn't about to have the girl's death on her conscious. As dirty and tainted as her conscious was, she wasn't about to tarnish it more with that. "I'll find her. I can't promise before midnight, but I'll find her. I promise." With a flourish, she made her way towards her tent again.

This called for something more than fortune telling. If she wanted to find Folly, she needed help and the only help that would be useful now was someone who may have seen her. Calling for a spirit was dangerous if not handled with care, but she had practice. So she closed her eyes and called out, "Spirits, hear my plea. If you are near, come forth and speak. I have need of you." She stood there silently and motionless until she felt the chill on her spine and a small gust of wind blew. She opened her eyes to see a man before her. The man wasn't your average joe, based on his appearance, he seemed to have stepped from a western movie. His spectral appearance didn't give way to his good looks though. Had he a physical form, she may even be tempted. "Spirit, what is your name?"

The man tipped his hat to her, "Durke is the name, darling. Might I say you are a pretty thing. It was getting boring just wandering around. My burden to bear though. You called for me?" "I am looking for a young girl. She has brown hair, pale skin. Around 17 years old. She was here and left. Did you see her?" Durke walked around, looking at the fire that still burned. He let out a low whistle, "Y'all know how to throw a real hoedown huh? Can't say I know where the girl went, but I did see her around. I haven't been around here long, as I like to wander since I ain't got much else to do. She seemed worried from what I gathered, but I only saw her head towards those tents over yonder. After that, I am not sure. Sorry I couldn't be much help. Maybe you can.." Before he could continue, Lilith clapped her hands, "Goodbye Durke. Thanks for your help." Durke spiraled and dissipated. She wasn't sure if he was still there, but at the moment he couldn't do anything else. She left him to wander some more.

She made her way over to the tents. The family "room" sat outside of them and she knew the little tent was Folly's. If the girl stopped here before she ran, perhaps she would find a clue. She stepped inside and began to search.

Eudora Esmeralda Erebus

Location: The Past
Interacting With: Liam (@Pundii)]

Eudora clucked her tongue as she let go of Liam, but she kept her eye on him, who knew what effects the portal had on a mortal? She sighed and flicked her judging gaze towards the wardrobe, mystified by the magic used. She'd have to learn that trick one day. "Anyway," Eudora began after satisfying a bit of her curiosity by having stared at the wardrobe, "Let's just hope no more people come flying- Folly?" Eudora's voice dropped to a barely audible whisper as her widening gaze stood fixated on the empty spot where Folly was, and near the spot, was an open window.

"Folly!" Eudora called out with her wavering voice as she rushed to the window, throwing her head out and peering into the dark only to see a little silhouette of a girl begin to shrink as it hurried away further away. Eudora half muttered a nonmagical and highly vulgar curse as she turned to face Liam, "We've lost her! Did you do anything to scare her?" she grunted in frustration as she peered down into the inky blackness that was the very hard and very deadly ground, she wasn't going to hop off to the ground anytime soon. "Well?" she said as she swivelled her piercing gaze towards Liam, "Aren't you going to run after her?"

She was about to nudge him forward but stopped, would running after Folly accomplish anything? Should she stop and ask Liam what was going on in the future/present? The lack of a clear answer bugged her to no end and she mentally threw her hands up and let herself suffer at the hands of her indecisiveness and just stood still, thinking.
