Yup. I mean, he hasn't been focused on that task for very long, but he'll be getting into it.

Cooking the post now- I'm posting in a collab, setting up a convo with a few chars, and setting a few more cogs in motion back in KL.

Done. It's a good one- I'm off to Switzerland for a week, so I will be out of reach for a while. Soz :(

@kingkonrad So...you are having Ellion vie for the Kingsguard? You do realize that Rhaegar is going to chase after the next opening too, right?

@kingkonrad Of course, its the mini-Queen of Thorns that is weaving her schemes. If she does get betrothed to Jahaerys then she'll be the one sister-in-law Rhaegar won't get along with.

Same again. She isn't exactly stupid- she's incredibly cunning, I think she knows full well what some of the other Targaryens can be like, beyond Jahaerys. It'll be interesting to see what she'll do...I mean, so far I've written a lot of Tyrells to be honest, proud, chivalric people. Alerie knows the reality- there is a lot more than just that to be very influential/powerful. Can't really say/give away much, but I mean, it ties to the Handmaidens and it ties to looking at a spot on the Kingsguard, orchestrating it in a way that might seem very far-sighted and unclear, but leads to something coming back together.

@Nightwing95@kingkonrad Great post, and I love what's being brewed up.

Let's keep in mind that there isn't an opening yet and there might not be for quite some time, so keep that in mind.

Right now Viserys is married to Aegon's daughter, Aemon is married to Tyrion's, and Daenyra is married to Monterys Velaryon, so that leaves four unmarried Targs: Visenya, Rhaenys, Baella, and Jahaerys. As well as Aegon's other kids.

So much inbreeding.

Infinite inbreeding.

Fun fact: Daenerys has an inbreeding coefficient of about .375 - by comparison, Charles II had an inbreeding coefficient of .254.

So, y'know!

@Monochromatic Rainbow Well Monterys, Visenya, and Aegon aren't that closely related to the Targs. Tyrion isn't at all, unless you subscribe to certain theories.

@Monochromatic Rainbow Wildfire can't melt stone pillars!
@Abefroeman Great post, the only thing is that the commanders went to Dorne by ship for expediency, and I think it would have made ship for Strong and Tattershall to do the same.
@AtomicNut Look forward to reading it!
